Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

If you are a diabetic, you should also avoid Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich and Whataburger Patty Melt at Whataburger. Chicken Fajita Taco is also off-limits for diabetics. High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Just went back to Burton's today. There was 4 of us and we had 3 different meals: Prime rib, Filet Special, and Scrimp Scampi. All 3 meals had what I would consider to be a lot of black pepper but the 3 other people I was with really liked it. The shrimp scampi and the filet special were good. The ribeye seemed really fatty for my taste but luckily it wasn't my meal. The person in our party that ordered it said she really liked it. Service was good as usual.

My wife and I had a discount coupon for Burtons so we decided to give it a shot. It was my first visit. We both had scallops, but prepared in two different ways. I generally prefer smaller, family owned restaurants so my expectations weren't great but I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent....fresh, very tasty, and well presented. Mine came with grilled asparagus; just can't get enough of that. The waitstaff was very friendly and the manager even came by to check and see how everything was. The coupon was a nice incentive as otherwise the price would have been a little high but I think we'll be going back.

Best gluten-free options I've ever encountered. Get this, glutards, they have a dedicated GF fryolator. Yes, that means we can eat fries! Burton's has the most extensive menu I've come across for those with gluten issues. Obviously, their steaks are pretty great, but they also have GF pasta, bread, and did I mention fries? Their Maxx Burger is pretty delicious - it comes with fried onion strings, GF bread, and a special sauce. Yum. I haven't gotten any, but I believe I remember seeing dessert options as well.

To be honest, I always looked at Burton's Grill as just another chain restaurant that had moved into the Middlesex Commons complex. I work in Andover and know there's one there too, so I just wasn't expecting much. I'm glad to say I was wrong, and that Burton's has some legit food! My girlfriend and I went on a Thursday night around 6:45 and there was a 30-40 minute wait. We were finally seated around 7:35, which wasn't too far off of the estimate. The interior is pretty dark, with the semi-open kitchen along the back wall. Our server (Guy) was superb and informed us that everything was scratch made. Although we don't have any, it seems that they are very accommodating to anyone with food allergies or dietary restrictions. The main dishes were a little pricier than I was expecting, but nothing astronomical and very reasonable for the quality of their food. Everything we ate was excellent, albeit not very innovative. We started with the spicy calamari ($12.50), which was delicious. Classic fried squid, served with pickled jalapenos, piquante peppers and a roasted pepper aioli was a nice way to start. My girlfriend got the shrimp scampi ($21.95), which she adored. I had one of the shrimp and it was very good (maybe a tad overdone). She wasn't convinced that the pasta was handmade, but I didn't try it so I won't comment much on that. She was extremely pleased with her dish. I had the Pacific Coast Burger ($12.95) which had cheddar, chipotle mayo, avocado and tomato-jalapeno relish. I'm a burger fiend, and to my delight the burger came out cooked to a perfect medium-rare with a nice charred crust. Extremely juicy and not overpacked, this was one of the better burgers I've had in a long time. The fries that came with were hand-cut, and perfectly crispy. It's rare I have one of those burger moments when I know what I'm eating is superior to the competition, and now that I know that I will definitely be back. Although nothing was shockingly creative, Burton's Grill serves familiar dishes at a higher level than any of the chains in the area, and I am happy to know that they are only a few minutes away when my next burger craving hits.

This is the last in a series of reviews related to "Joni and Reid's Impromptu Maine Beach Vacation." To see the trip from the beginning, go to the review for the Norseman Resort in Ogunquit, ME. Our Maine trip was almost over. We drove through York and stopped at a few outlets in Kittery before heading back to Framingham, MA. As dinner approached, we both agreed that we'd had enough seafood and could both use a good hamburger. As we approached Burlington, Joni checked Yelp and found this place, which everyone seemed to agree has great burgers. They were right. This was one of the best, juiciest hamburgers I've ever had, complimented nicely by the hand-cut fries and/or cucumber salad. The service was also excellent, and I have no doubt we will return. This ends the series of reviews from our most recent trip. I hope you have enjoyed them.

Ok so we decided last minute to veture to the new Burtons Grill for dinner on Valentines Day. expected a long wait (no reservation) but got there and were informed we could want for a dining room table (20 min) or eatin bar(full service). We opted for the bar Got some gfreat drinks and beer and ordered. Our waitress was sweet and attentive and our food was really good. I got the bronzed salmon (its like cajun spices but not overpowering) and my companion got a steak. He said it was the best steak he has had in a long time. We were full and satisfied. Go for date night and leave the kiddies at home!

We've been to a few of the Burtons locations and they're always fantastic about accommodating a gluten allergy. They have a special menu, delicious gluten free bread and everyone is aware of the allergy so your Celiac friend can dine without a worry in the world. This is one of Burton's newest locations and it's just not the easiest place to get to immediately after work on a Friday night. The parking lot is small and packed with crazed shoppers trying to get to Marketbasket. There is a TON of traffic just trying to turn into the shopping center. As they build out the area I'm sure they'll widen the highway or do something smarter, but for now definitely leave some extra time. We sat in the bar area at a high table because we were more than 15 mins late to our reservation (damn you traffic). The waitress was nice and the food was as good as usual at Burtons. We both left very full and satisfied, but really missing the location that used to be down at Fenway.

Scallop risotto to die for! Service has been amazing! My husband ordered the ribeye, cooked beautifully. The French fries are hand cut and freshly prepared - hot but not greasy. Everything was spot on, right down to the yummy l'Orange martini. A wonderful meal! Definitely recommend.

Great place... You might think it's a bit too uppity when looking in from the outside at this particular location, however, don't be intimidated. It's true...it's a very nice place...and you'll definitely see a number of 'suits' in the place, probably hosting lunch/dinner for a customer/client...however, they welcome any and all. Assuming you bathe...and have decent hygienic habits of course. Had one of their burgers...that had onion strings on it. Very good burger. And there is no shortage of burger joints in the area. McDonald's Burger King Five Guys and Fries BGood Burgers Bobby Flay's Burger Palace Tavern in the Square Capital Grille Not your Average Joe's ...the list goes on...as I am sure I am missing a few other options. But of that list, I believe I've had burgers at most...this Burton's burger, (IMHO), actually is in the running for best burger in the area. Not too much bun, burger cooked perfectly, great bacon, crisp, fresh veggies and condiments... The fries were actually very good too. Now I am a huge fan of the fries at 'Five Guys', but I'd say these fries give theirs a run for the money. Considering 5-Guys is about 2 stores down from Burton's, give them both a try. You'll find you're not paying too much less at 5-Guys... Give this place a try...great atmosphere, friendly waitstaff...full bar...and many other dining options other than burgers. I'll be back for sure and look for that consistency that differentiates good eateries...versus the great ones.

My family and I came for lunch last week, and were really pleased with this place! They have a really good gluten free menu and actually seem to understand gluten free means. I'll definitely be back for dinner.

Was there last night with girlfriends, we had a great time. We loved our big wide booth up near open kitchen. Our waitress was more than patient with us since we were so busy talking it took us a while to look at menu and decide. I thought you had a great menu, vegan and gluten free options, nice wines by the glass, and cocktails. I got the lighter fare scallops and corn it was delicious! Also we were the last ones to leave, all of a sudden we realized we were the only ones there and the poor manager waiting for us to leave..they never asked us to hurry and up and leave or make us feel rushed, it didn't seem late it was 11:00 I think but it was empty.. We had a great time and will definately be back (we won't stay as late this time, us girls get chatty and lose track of time :)

Not sure why but had really good service this past Saturday night plus the food was fairly good. Reservations were impossible to get so my party of 4 took a chance and came at 5 PM for an early dinner. The person told us on the phone that they saved half the restaurant for reservations and the rest for walk-in. Parking lot was quite filled when we arrived with several businesses in the plaza. Our expected wait time was 15-20 minutes and it was the fastest wait as a party apparently canceled so put hostess seated us right away in the area right behind the bar next to the kitchen. Setting was very dim but nice and reminded me of similar high end restaurants. The price on the menu reflected this. Our waitress Dana was a pleasure to have as she gave us the specials and took our drink orders. She also gave us time to look over the menu and we were able to put in appetizers before we decided on our main dishes. I was quite pleased that she made the effort to delay the main dishes to give us time to enjoy our appetizers. Our appetizers we shared was the Grilled Stuff Zucchini and the Calamari. Both were very well done. The calamari was lightly fried and came with a delicious tartar sauce. The stuffed zucchini reminded me of roll ups and it was nicely grilled and saucy which we all enjoyed. For our main dishes we ordered Braised Short Rib that was one of two Chef's specials, the Haddock Imperial, the Chicken Duo, and I got the Lobster and Shrimp pasta. We each shared a bit of each others dish and all were delicious. My dish had some of the largest shrimps I ever seen and a good mix of lobster meat. The short ribs reminded me of stew but it was very flavorful though the meat was a bit lean and tough in certain areas. The haddock was very tender and not overcooked and came with a slightly salted down hot potato and fresh looking cooked broccoli. Finally the chicken duo with risotto was good for a person who enjoys white meat. All in all a great first time experience and Dana gave us new utensils and plates after we had our appetizers so we could share our dishes. She kept our drinks filled and checked with us periodically to see how everything was. It was also nice to get the same warm reception from the rest of the staff and our hostess and a person I believe was the manager also checked how we were doing. Hopefully they keep the same quality service and delicious food for the next time!

Service is always good. I had the braised short ribs on this visit and they were tender. Served over mashed potatoes and miniature carrots. Prices are reasonable and I recommend a reservation as it is often crowded when I've gone here.

This is probably my favorite restaurant. They change their menu seasonally and it is always outstanding--i would call it forward thinking comfort food, like burgers, steak, seafood etc. Their handcrafted cocktails are always really great. This past summer I had a watermelon margarita with just a hint of heat to it--totally hit the spot. Their autumn sangria is the best--really crisp and refreshing. Their spicy calamari is the best calamari I have ever had. But the real clincher for this restaurant is their extensive gluten free menu. This place is a must if you have Celiac or a wheat allergy/intolerance. You can get fried items no problem--they have a dedicated fryer. Their gf rolls are solid and they know how to cook gf pasta. And that spicy calamari that i said was the best--Ive only ever had it gluten free, and its still the best I've ever had, bar none. Please don't take it off the rotating menu! The service is consistently great--Ive been to the Burlington, Hingham and Peabody locations and have never had a bad experience.

Great atmosphere and service. Really good food. Apps: - Fried calamari was a 7/10 - Baked stuffed zucchini 9/10. It's heavy but the zucchini makes you feel about 10% less guilty. - Philly cheese-steak egg rolls 11/10. These were so awesome that we ordered a second round. Served with a really good tangy ketchup that has horseradish in it. not quite cocktail sauce as you still know it's ketchup. We ordered a bunch more of this for our main courses, too. - One of the apps came with onion rings that were 9/10. Mains: - Ribeye 8/10. Really good but a bit on the thin side so it's hard to get a nice char while keeping the center medium rare. Also a bit on the pricey side. I'd say it was about $4 too expensive. - The fries served with the steak were also great... Not too thin, not too thick, nicely seasoned, skin on. 10/10 - Daily catch risotto 6/10. Great flavors but the fish and risotto were slightly overcooked. Risotto should not keep its shape. It should flow. This was moldable, and served in a ring-mold shape under the slightly-overcooked piece of cod. It was a decent deal though at about $23. Desserts: - Key lime pie was great. I'm not a huge fan of this in general, but I had no problem taking a few bites. 8/10 - Ice cream sundae was huge. Actually massive. Vanilla, whipped cream, hot fudge, nuts. You can't really screw this up. 10/10. Overall it was a fun, lively place. We sat in direct view of the open kitchen. The cooks in there all looked like they were having a good time and it showed in the plates they were putting out. The servers were also pleasant. I wish they had an an apple-based desert. This is New England, after all. Get an apple crisp or apple pie on there to round out my nice steak dinner.

It was horrible! This should first be $$$ not $$, it is expensive for nothing. We had the shrimp & lobster risotto and the bronzed salmon. They had absolutely no flavor!

As good as it gets. I was taken here by a business associate for dinner tonight and we were all raving about how good our respective dinners were. My only regret was not getting dessert but I was SO full from my dinner & apps. We waited at the bar to meet the rest of our party and I sipped on an apple cider drinks. I can't remember the name of it but it was a cocktail, not plain cider. It was pretty good, a little strong but tasty. The rim was garnished with a cinnamon sugar mixture and it had a slice of honey crisp apple in it. The bartenders were super nice and offered us complimentary loaded potato bites while we were waiting. They were very good. Once we were seated they gave us fresh bread, I don't even know what kind of bread to compare it to. It was cut like corn bread but was like super soft Italian bread with a parm sprinkling on top. It came with pesto dipping oil which was so yummy. We ordered the calamari and as a nice twist they gave us some kind of zesty mayo dipping sauce rather than marinara. For dinner I got the scallop and risotto with corn, shrimp and snap peas and it was to die for. This meal was 5 stars. It was the perfect balance of Cajun spices on the scallops (I DO NOT like spicy & can't handle it) over creamy, cheesy risotto with corn, snap peas and shrimp. They gave you perfectly cooked, huge sea scallops and a good amount. Actually I had to share 2 with the other people because they're such a rich food I can't eat 5 or 6, I can't remember. The staff was so helpful and pleasant and eager to please. The place was very clean and had a nice, relaxing ambiance. I liked that you could see into the kitchen too so you saw how clean it was. I wish they had one of these places by me. I would love to take my family here to eat. If you're in town, I highly recommend this place. But get dessert! I wish I could have fit it.

Great place to go for a nice relaxing glass if wine and app after work... My co worker and I love to eat off the gluten free menu and sip a glass if wine while sinking into the comfy lounge chairs on the patio.. Brian was our server and he was beyond- we will ask for his section with every visit . The service is friendly , laid back and extremely professional and polite. Best beet salad around !

I got a gift card to Burton's so the bf and I went to check it out...it was ok. Nothing overly spectacular or annoying...just ok. I'm in no rush to go back, but by the same token if someone wanted to go there...I would not be opposed to it.

Plus four stars for: -I could feel that the food was made of good fresh vegetable/fish. -Good kids menu is available. My 4yr daughter enjoyed the selection. Minus one star for: -Price. -Selection of food was somehow limited (I was expecting fresh oyster.). Overall it was a good upgrade from our usual cheesecake factory for +20% additional cost.

Love this place! Their food is a little pricy but excellent. I love getting their risottos. I'm actually going tonight for dinner. That is the only reason I'm not going there for lunch haha. The risotto of the day is so fun on their lunch menu. I can't get enough of it.

3.5 stars we ordered various seafood dishes and they all tasted nice and fresh. portions were a little small for the price (shrimp scampi was $20 and salmon piccata $21). the starter bread was pretty good. the menu was a little small so think of it as a smaller legal seafood. service was fantastic and professional. clean and well kept restaurant. it had a very nice, warm design to it. they had some tvs at the bar.

First and for most our waitress was fantastic. She was extremely helpful and made great suggestions and very much made our dinning experience a great one. The food was very fresh and cooked extremely well. I had the special swordfish over risotto. It was fantastic and while on the pricier side I would go back again. One thing that I really appreciated as one of the members in our party was vegan is that they had an extremely extensive menu for vegetarians. While it is not vegan it was a great option and very helpful. In ADDITION all of the staff were very very helpful as one of our members had a shellfish allergy. They all were on it and brought a nice comfort to the individual. Yeah it is a chain and yah it is a high end steak house but I think this one is going to make it!

I visited Burtons yesterday for the first time. Realizing that it was chain, I had pretty low expectations. Boy was I surprised! its a large, clean restaurant with modern decor. I went to the bar with some old work friends. Since I arrived first, I sat at the bar and was waited on by Mike. Mike was friendly and made good suggestions. More importantly, he made a great Cucumber Collins. When the rest of the group arrived, we moved to a booth and continued with drinks and apps. Again I had very low expectations for the food but it was all very good and I felt, very fresh. We had a nice server as well. I really can't say anything bad about this place except that if you order a dirty martini, be clear that you don't want vermouth...because you'll get it if you don't. Can't wait to go back to try dinner!

This is more like a 3.5 star review. The staff here is very attentive and friendly, or at least our waiter was. We sat at one of the higher tables near the kitchen, which you can look into; I thought that was kind of cool, to see them working and putting the plates up for the waitstaff to pick up. I ordered the scallops and corn, which was delicious though I was disappointed to see how much was on the plate (three scallops, though they were the big sea scallops). I would have still been hungry had I not helped my husband finish his pasta, but apparently it was under "lighter fare," something I must have skipped over when I was looking at the menu. There are a lot of gluten-free choices if you need that, and they have a decent selection of vegetarian offerings too. Wine list is pretty long, though I seem to remember many of them only being available by the bottle. If you want to spend a little more money on dinner, this is a solid choice.

Went on a Monday night with another couple. Pricey for the food, my opinion. We got draft beers, a mojito (no flavor) and a white wine sangria (tasty). Large drinks, decent dinner portions, just kind of not-exciting. We got mushroom ravioli, a house salad with grilled salmon added (very salty), and two of us got the Chicken Duo - also salty. I expected greatness, but it was ok. Probably would not return, especially for the pricey steaks, I would go to Capital Grille.

I've long been a fan of their North Andover location, and the Burlington one didn't disappoint. Wait staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food was delicious (got the risotto of the day with panko crusted hake) while not being too pricy for a nice looking place at $13 Ambiance was typical Burton's. If you haven't been to any of their half dozen locations, it's dark. Dark wood, dark lighting, classy but not pretentious. Seating was great. Having long tables with booths that sit 8 are great for big parties. Booths are so damn comfy. All in all, a great place. I'd come here again.

My husband and I checked this place out last week and were pretty impressed. We sat outside and it was nice. Although, the 2-top tables are really small and too close together for my liking, so we askd for a 4-top table. Our server was really nice and had a good knowledge of the menu. We both ordered sangria. I ordered the red and hubby ordered the peach. He is still talking about that sangria... We got 2 appetizers. The steak spring rolls which were amazing. It was like a steak and cheese in a spring roll. Delicious. We also got the zucchini roll up. It was ok. If you are a cheese lover, then you will like it. Its zucchini rolled up, stuffed with a few different types of cheese, baked in a dish with red sauce and covered in more melted cheese. I ordered the chicken and mushroom ravioli with asparagus. I enjoyed it. They only issue I had was that the ravioli was really al dente. The edges were almost raw. They could have used another 60 seconds in the water, lol. But it was really tasty and I was happy with it. Husband ordered the Argentinian steak special. He devoured it. I wish we could have tried some dessert, but we didnt have time. We will for sure be back.

I am truly impressed with this restaurant and the seriousness they have taken the needs of gluten free people. This will be my go to place most times I go out to eat now. Starting with the awesome rolls and pesto oil dip to the meal itself. Everything was amazing!! I honestly couldn't think of one improvement to make and if you know me that is pretty rare! Our server Margaret was so helpful and friendly. I appreciated how well she walked us through everything but also gave us space. When I go back I will always ask for her. Great job all around!!

Great wine list. Split a burger and said with my husband. We are from California and are used to big, juicy burgers.... They did not disappoint!!! The salad was also great. Recommended it to my sister who is from the area and had never heard of it :)

This place has a "New Money' feel to it (stolen from Andy), dark wood, warm colors, etc. Not necessarily a bad thing, I actually quite liked the atmosphere. In my opinion, their drinks are terrible. The pear mojito tasted medicinal (think Sudafed) to me, and the margarita was just harsh, it didn't have a good taste to it. Andy seemed to like them though, and ordered a second margarita. I thought the bread with pesto oil was nice, Andy said it was a bit salty for him. My crab cake entree was just okay, not special. Andy enjoyed his steak. The bathrooms were nice and clean and the server was affable and friendly. The ice cream sundae was fine. We will probably come back and possibly bring our niece to sample the innovative children's menu.

We have dined here twice now, so I can confidently say Burton's service leaves a lot to be desired. On our first trip, our server disappeared. Like poof gone, not to be seen again disappeared. I was a half expecting to find her photo on a milk carton the next day. We literally sat through our entire meal with no refills and dirty plates that were never cleared. When I finally went and asked the manager up front for our check she looked slightly sympathetic to our frustration but never offered an apology. Last night we tried again and played the waiting game once more. Five minutes to be greeted, 15 minutes to take an order, etc. When my food came to the table it had the incorrect side, so I mentioned it and our server said she would replace it right away ... and of course it never came. By the time we did see her again our entire table was finished eating, so I didn't even bother reminding her. We planned on staying for dessert, but could not commit another hour to waiting for it, so we passed. I am not sure if it is a problem with the staff not being trained properly or them having too large of sections. My guess is the latter. Wish people would see that it is such a disservice to the guest when servers/management weed their servers and not allow them to give proper and attentive service. As for the food it is tasty, but not overwhelmingly so that you can ignore the service. One of our guests is on a gluten free diet and we had heard they have a decent gluten free menu, which they do. A lot of places will have some very basic items listed, but Burton's had multiple offerings including pastas and desserts. Between the four of us we ordered the Crab Cakes appetizer, the Haddock Imperial, the GF Lobster & Shrimp Pasta, and the California Chicken Sandwich. The pasta and the sandwich were the favorites at the table. My Haddock was well cooked and very moist and I enjoyed the contrast of texture with the panko, but the herbed rice could have used a good dose of additional seasoning. The crab cakes were tasty but not pan seared long enough for my personal preference. If you have a gluten allergy I would recommend Burton's as you will appreciate the extra care they take in preparing your food. It is brought to the table separately by one of their chefs and they even offer a gluten free roll with oil to start. A definite plus. I will most likely be back, but will try a different location.

Honestly this is the best chain restaurant in my book! I'd recommend making a reservation ahead of time if you know you'll be dining there, because it does get busy in there at meal times. They save about half of the restaurant for reservations and the rest for walk ins. The perfect touch while browsing the menu is their fresh bread with a pesto/oil to dip. Their fall sangria is amazing and currently they have a Super fruit sangria that is pretty good too. Appetizers I like to order are the calamari and the spinach and artichoke dip (it also comes with a small dish of salsa/tomatoes that have a little kick to it). To order for main courses: Seafood casserole, salmon piccata, shrimp scampi, and the maxx burger (with onion shredds)! Become a "B Loyal" and always remember to bring your card to add points or if you forget to bring your card, they're more than happy to look it up! Every dollar or what ever is a point and once you've accumulated an amount you get $20? off your next bill! Most importantly, I have not experience any other chain restaurant that will care about your allergies and gluten-free needs! The manager of the day brings out a special plate that is for allergens / special cases only to make sure that it is taken care of properly! Also, they use fresh clean wet napkins from the package itself to clean the tables and seats, no ratty wash cloth that has touched everything! I'd go on and on about everything I love about Burtons!

Visited Burton's for the first time last weekend and had a great experience! The food was excellent and the service was great! The menu had a good variety of foods and the prices were not so bad. The drink menu was good too! I would definitely go back!

For any celiacs out there, Burtons is our gluten free headquarters! My wife is a celiac, and needs to be very much at ease with the knowledge level of the wait staff before ordering. If you're in my shoes, you can understand that the staff has to do a good job managing the gluten free transaction, and they really do have it down to a science. I was impressed. For the non-celiac crowd, I've taken everyone I know here. Love the sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, friendly/professional/knowledgeable staff, and awesome rewards program. Food is really solid and competitively priced. I've liked everything that I've tried.

Had one of the best chicken salads I've every had for lunch here today. The place is warm and inviting, and one of the most beautiful ladies' room I've ever seen in a restaurant. Next time I head up to H Mart, I'll be back for lunch.

We found this location on accident while looking for something else. We were drawn in by the outside appearance and decided to give it a shot. They had outdoor seating which is always appealng but it was too hot so we ate inside the dining room which was warm, upscale and comfortable. Our server was great, informative and helpful. We had the buffalo chicken appetizer which was perfectly balanced in it's ingredients and came with fresh yellow and purple corn chips. I ordered the cod brazened with a baked potato and cucumber salad. It was all really well done and very tasty. My lunch partner ordered a burger with fries and it was cooked perfectly to temp and he acknowledged the fries were done very well. They were crispy and unsalted so a little salt made them near perfect. We shared a dessert of the Vanilla Creme Brulee which was very well done. A good ending to the meal! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the Burlington (or Hingham since we learned there's one there also) area. Would be great for a date night or a large group.

it is very difficult to dine out when you are trying to count your calories. Burtons grille is the most accommodating restaurant I have ever been in. My wife and I have been there many times and ordered a large variety off their menu that they are happy to prepare with no butter or oils. they will steam the veggies and cook any of their fish and appetizers as light as possible. I love a restaurant that will cook food the way the customer wants it not the way the kitchen wants it....well done

I did a takeout order here with a friend and I was impressed. I ordered the salmon burger, and even though it was a little burnt on the bottom (unprofessional, I know), it was ago very tasty. The buffalo chicken rangoons are also pretty tasty. I took a star off for the toasty salmon bits.

After eating here a few times the biggest things that stand out are that some items are overpriced, but there is a good 2/3 of the menu I think is fair. It's mainly the $30+ stuff that isn't cooked in a way that makes me want to pay that much. The other standout thing is the children's menu and if you having eating allergies (like my wife does). So that being said it's worth going to this place for the positives if you watch what you are ordering. Don't misunderstand me as being cheap, if I want high end food I just prefer to head elsewhere. The service has been very good (refills without asking, clean, timely, etc). I am a fan of the dark modern design and feel.

The food tasted fine and served well. The burgers were cooked as requested, which bodes well with us! The salads had some variety and were certainly acceptable. There is a choice of lounge, dining room or .Outside is shaded so it allows fresh air but no harsh sunlight. The servers however, left much to be desired. We waited way to long to give our order, the same to get our check. We needed to ask another server to get ours to get it. Water glasses not filled throughout meal. It is convenient to market and neighboring shops, so just give yourself plenty of waiting time if dining here as the food prep and choices deserve a positive review.

Came here for lunch on Friday before Christmas with boyfriend and our respective parents. Pretty slow in the restaurant, though the parking lot was, predictably, a nightmare. The atmosphere of the place is nice. Dark but warm. We had a high six person booth with a great view of the kitchen. There was a lot of room but it had a weird effect on conversation. Here was our seating arrangement: My Dad | My Mom | Boyfriend FOODFOODFOODFOODFOOD Me | Boyfriend's Mom | Boyfriend's Dad (Does that make sense?) Basically, the dads couldn't hear each other unless they were jovially loud. Which we mostly were, so it was fine, but its worth mentioning. The server was a nice guy. The place is brand new and the training is still very raw -- everyone was very committed to telling us how fresh everything was. (The guy who sat us cracked me up, because nothing is funnier than hearing someone talk about how "We're so excited..." about whatever in a deadpan voice). Our server had this whole sarcastic football coach thing going on that sort of worked but wore a litle thin when the boyfriend's mom's salad came back covered in bacon (while ordering, she says "No bacon please," and he jokes, "Extra bacon?"). But he was a nice guy and I liked him. For apps, we had the spinach & artichoke dip, calamari and this cheesey zucchini dish that was pretty good in a tastes-like-Italian-food way. My dad and I talked for about five minutes on the quality of the nacho chips, determined that the saltiness was ideal and that they were likely made on-site. For entrees, there was the aforementioned bacony-salad, which lost them half a star. The other half star was lost with my marinated mediteranean salad, which was awful. I'm not sure how they managed to make something that sounded so good, with such great ingredients (minus the iceburg lettuce) into something so inedible. It maybe could have worked as a little side, but for a salad it was thoroughly unsuccessful. What I WISH I ordered was the risotto of the day, which looked amazing and which my mother reports was delicious. My dad had the burger, which he liked. I sampled the fries, which were crisp and well seasoned. Boyfriend had the salmon burger ("as rare as your chef is comfortable cooking it"), boyfriend's dad had the special, which was swordfish on pasta with I forget what vegetables but they sounded very good. Other last notes ... The beer list had some nice variety to it, but it was early for other drinks. Of the desserts, I tried the raspberry sorbet, which was very very good. Boyfriend's dad had the key lime pie, but is supposedly their signature. It was sort of massive for a pie and could have fed three. Coffee was good. Overall, versatile restaurant and good addition to the area, which is otherwise pretty sparse for good eats.

We stopped here last night and place was packed. The filet was cooked right and tasted great and it's good that the sides are included. It was a bit pricey for what you get though so I'd say it's okay, but not great and by no means bad.

I've been to Burton's Grill twice. They have great food (my fav is the calamari), great atomosphere and great drinks. I always love that the waitstaff looks professional. Not only is everyone dressed in black but males have short and tidy haircuts and the women's hair is either short or pulled neatly back. This looks like an upscale and professional restaurant that delivers on great tasting foods.

The restaurant itself is a nice addition to the limited choices in Burlington (that I know of), but a little work needs to be done on the inside. First, I like the set up, I like the spacious higher booths with a view of the kitchen. The bar area seems nice. And it was busy on a Tuesday night. Now the not so great stuff...The menu is somewhat limited. Nothing really stood out or got me excited, maybe the beet salad but I didn't order it. My bf has said that he heard the crab cakes are good but I didn't try this either. The bread plate is mediocre, but I liked the olive oil mixture accompanying it. I ordered the Salmon Burger and asked the waitress to make sure there was no butter on the bun. Of course, there was. The Salmon Burger patty was tasty. I ordered the cucumber salad as a side. The salmon burger patty and the cucumber salad were good compliments to each other. My brother ordered the burger and he said it was ok. The fries were eh. My friend ordered some salad that looked good, but nothing special. So then, part way through our dinner, this guy starts rattling the footrest at our table (while my brother's feet were on it). He starts doing this without saying a word. Uh, what are you doing? Apparently he's fixing it because it's jutting out and he doesn't want anyone to get hurt. At least say something before you start jiggering away? Half an hour later, another guy comes over and does the same thing, but at least he murmurs something first. Then my friend orders the Chocolate torte...and finds something in it that grosses me out, but he's seen worse so he finishes it off. Eew. So that's my review of Burton's Grille in Burlington. I would definitely be open to trying Burton's at another location, but Burlington location was not so impressive.

I came here a few weeks ago on a Saturday night. The place itself looks nice, but it was extremely crowded. We had reservations and I would say half of the staff appeared frazzled. Our waitress told us on several occasions how it was busy, and quite frankly, didnt use the nicest tone. She was irritated. The food itself was decent. My ribeye was fattier than I would have liked though. Not the greatest cut of meat. The bartender messed up the rim on a martini, accidentally putting a cinnamon rim on a blueberry drink. The appetizers were the highlight as the onion straws are highly addictive and the buffalo chicken dip was tasty If you or someone else has a gluten allergy, this place does a fine job of accomondating your needs. The menu is very accomodating. I would like to go back and try this place and hopefully they are better organized the next time.

I can't count the number of times I have been to Burtons (including this location). Burton's is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The service, quality of food is top notch. My favorites are their hamburger, sangria, and of course the mediterranean salad! The Mediterranean Salad is to die for - I've gotten it for lunch with some chicken...so good. Everything I have ordered at Burtons has been delicious!

I've been here on several occasions for a couple of beer at the bar. In the future, I'll probably keep my visits contained to only the beers. I went ahead and dined here with my wife a few weeks ago. I had a fish sandwich with fries and my wife had a grilled fish meal. The food came through just fine. The manager was very nice to us. He saw that our table was wobbly and immediately moved us over to another table. Nice job. We deeply appreciated his attentiveness. Our waiter was a real charmer UNTIL we received our food. We never saw him again until we were done. Even then we had to wave him down so we could pay up. He did not come back to see if we'd like another cocktail, which I did. Nor did he come by and just check that the food was in good order. Burton's is not cheap. It's not over the top expensive but they charge you some money. If you're going to order a sandwich with fries, as I did, don't bother. You can grab a burger or dog and fries at the Five Guys a few doors down. Perhaps Burton's has some nice steaks and other entrees but they strike me as overpriced.

Solid meal here tonight. Server was outstanding. Perfect timing on checking on us for drinks, food and dessert. Appetizer and food came out very timely and place was about 2/3 full. I had the calamari appetizer (7 / 10) and the Lobster and Shrimp Pasta (7 / 10). I will say for the lobster & shrimp quantity, very big on the seafood vs. similar dishes I've had. Colleague had bronzed Salmon and loved it. Said it was perfectly prepared. Would return next time out on business but probably would try another place in the area just to see what else is here.

I checked Yelp looking for a restaurant. We are visiting in MA and I also needed one that was gluten free. Based on a review here, I chose Burton's Grill. I can not say enough on how good our experience was. The gluten free menu was great. My wife who has Celiac's and was over joyed when they brought out her own bread, and it was good. The waiter was awesome. He was knowledgable and had suggestions based on our questions. Our experience was excellent both for gluten free and non gluten free. We will be going back.

Food was good, but overpriced. Two had the salmon burger and liked it; I had the cheeseburger with blue cheese and broccoli in place of fries--also pretty good. Lost a star because the butternut soup was cold....literally. We sent it back, and after a quick turn in the microwave, it came back and was quite good. First time we tried, it was a Friday night and so noisy, we turned around and walked out. This time was a Monday night, and we could hold a conversation. It didn't provide enough value for us to go back, but it was an OK experience.

Truly a wonderful dining experience. Sat at the bar, single diner. Ordered a glass of wine (nice pour). Was offered a sample of a new drink (come to find out they do this on Wed. nights) then a scollop wrapped in bacon (and they also do free apps. throughout the evening). Both were excellent. Ordered a house salad with grilled chicken. Excellent vinaigrette over crisp lettuce, red peppers, blue cheese, crumbled bacon and grape tomatoes. The chicken was cooked to perfection (probably the best I have ever had out, moist yet fully cooked!! can you teach me that?). The bread they served with a pesto dipping oil. Also wonderfully flavored. Service was polite and prompt. Im going back with more people. See if there can be a repeat performance.

Atmosphere was nice, decent size restaurant, although the traffic flow left a lot to be desired. If there are no seats in the lounge area, you just stand there in the main pathway that all the staff walks through and your constantly moving, saying sorry, excuse me, just to get out of their way. Similar situation in the dining room. I saw waiters constantly bumping in to eachother ...Food was really good and wait staff was attentive. They asked if anyone had any food allergies right away. I said yes and from there the entire wait staff was notified, from the people bringing the bread to the person delivering the food. I got a different shaped plate than the others and for some reason when they delivered my food, they pointed out they gave me a gluten free bun. I did not say I had a gluten allergy...It appears they have some sort of "Allergy Package" so if someone says they are allergic to anything, your getting the square plate, gluetn free bread, and everything else. A little overboard but understandable. Good experience and good food. I would definately go back.

Unfortunately, we were unimpressed with our dining experience at Burton's tonight. My wife and I had made a reservation for 7:15, but didn't get sat until 7:45. Service was fine, although our appetizer arrived without any silverware for us to eat with. It took at least five minutes before we could even flag down a server to get us utensils and napkins with our fried calamari getting cold! Once we did finally eat, the calamari was tasty and well seasoned, though slightly chewy. For dinner, my wife ordered the cobb salad, which she said was great. She also tried the stuffed zucchini, which was way below expectations and seemed to be sitting in a pool of oil. The NY Strip which I ordered was underwhelming and extremely dry. I had expected a more tender and better cooked steak for the money. While we appreciate the courtesy of our server, we probably will not be dining at Burton's again due to mediocre food and a high priced dinner bill, not to mention the lack of punctuality with our reservation.

Highly recommend. Warm, friendly atmosphere with fast, efficient service. They nailed the risotto with tomatoes and artichokes. Will certainly return, looking forward to exploring the menu. Went for lunch with a party of ten and few were impressed. Yes it was clean & comfortable but when I got my Manhattan, it wasn't one. Tasted like dishwater and looked horrendous. Two people ordered a chicken club and received chicken & lettuce on two pieces of white bread. Needless to say, it was my first & last time at Burtons.

I was impressed and pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We had a reservation, thank god because there was an hour wait. The bar scene seemed lively, it looked like a frat/sorority reunion- not my scene but whatever. Good wine and beer selection. Actually, for what this place is, they did a very fine job picking out good wines for each price range. We had butternut squash soup, Caesar salad (with anchovies), the rib-eye with onions ("it was great") and haddock stuffed with crab-meat. The fish was perfectly cooked- flaky and fresh. Good variety of sides to choose from, the cucumber salad was a unique choice and tangy with jalapenos. The service was on, our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. This restaurant is fair competition against some of the pricier restaurants that offer similar choices. The next time I'm craving Legal but don't feel like shelling out the extra $$$, I'll consider this restaurant.

1st off I asked the waitress what was good and she said "everything". In my experience, when they say everything is good and cannot point to a few items that are above average then I would run! The food tasted like it had butter coated over all of it! The best part of the meal was the baked potato (also with a 1/2 pound of butter on top). Overall for 2 drinks and two meals the bill was $70....not worth it. I would have paid $40 for this at most! Restaurant was clean as it was new.

Exceptional service. My filet minon came out well instead of medium. It got sent back and the second time it came back medium rare. Third time was a charm -perfect! Although the wait was a bit longer for the new steak our server and manager were great. The manager offered a soup or salad while I waited. The food was full of flavor and perfect portion sizes. The thing I liked the most was when our waiter first came over he immediately asked if anyone had any food allergies he should be aware of. It's this type of service that every restaurant should follow. Only downside wish they had a primerib !

There are four extremely crucial elements that decide weather a restaurant is hot or not. 1. Having food good enough to make you want to return And give the restaurant your business again. 2. Having friendly and speedy service to keep consumers content. 3. An upbeat atmosphere that suits what kind of restaurant image the specific management wants to achieve. And finally 4. Food that's valued ( in the customers opinion) close or near what it costs to order it. Buttons grill achieved 1. And 3. The food was very good and clearly prepared professionally and it had a warm inviting atmosphere that welcomed my family in and give them our business. But the service was so long it was almost unreal. We ordered very basic meals ( steak) (burgers) things that u would have thought would have taken half the time to come to our table and unlike the friendly inviting atmosphere our waitress was cold and somewhat irritating with her lack of enthusiasm. The other element they missed was the value to meal comparison. I looked down at my plate then I looked at the menu again to make sure what I got actually costed that much. It was unbelievable much like the service. The only good value was the kid menu. A very innovated clever menu similar to the food group pyramid at only 5 dollars per meal! For right now I'm still undecided weather I'm going to come back. If I do give buttons grill another chance I want them to fix those mistakes that drove me away in the first place.

I went for dinner and my meal was good. The menu didn't have many options-in fact is was split 50/50. They had a handful of entree and a handful of burgers. It could just be me but considering the atmosphere I had pictured a full menu with many options so that was a little disappointing. But the atmosphere is good-this would be a place to meet friends for a drink after work. Like I said my food was good but a little pricy for a burger. Will go back for the bar & drinks

Had this review come the first time I tried Burtons, it would be 5-star. Sadly, after a great first experience, I came back a second time to a completely different place. Upon arrival, the hostess told me and my bf it would be a 45 minute wait, and insisted that we sit at the bar. On a cold March night, a table next to the door at the bar was NOT what I came in for. Nonetheless, I really liked their food the first time, and decided, why not. Wouldn't you know it, within a 10 mins span, at least 8 new patrons, 2 couples and a family of 4, came in without a reservation, and were promptly escorted back to the dining room. Our waiter didn't bring us bread, paid specific attention to the table on our right, and our left, never offered us refills on our drinks, and at the end of the meal, we sat with the check in our hands for 10 mins, while he took at seat at the high top table behind us, and chatted with his friends. What a disappointment. Advice to management - your staff is one of THE most important assets to your business. Regretfully, your staff is the reason I won't be back here for a long time.

Came here last night for my friends birthday and had a great dinner. We all ended up ordering burgers in which they were cooked to perfection and the fries were delicious! While we were waiting for our food someone (I am assuming the manager) came up to us and gave us a free appetizer! yummm! To end our night we got the key lime pie, it was to DIE for!!! :)

Went tonight with the family. I ordered the short rib special at the recommendation of the server. Was ok, had much better short ribs at other restaurants. This was more like bits of pot roast on some potatoes. Even the meat did not resemble any part of a short rib cut. Really doubt it was - I know my meat cuts well and this did not resemble short rib at all. Wrong texture and grain. Had much higher expectations after eating at the Boston and Andover locations before. Both of those were fantastic over several visits. Husband got the steak sandwich. Was supposed to be tenderloin, but was chewy, more like steak tips. Via Lago in Lexington has a tenderloin steak sandwich that runs circles around Burton's version. My son ordered a burger medium rare. It came out medium well to well done. The only one who was really happy was my youngest who ordered off the children's menu. She had a steak, cooked perfectly with pasta. Kids menu is a great value with many good choices. chicken, steak, fish etc. Server was enthusiastic and friendly, but pretty green. Nothing time won't take care of, he was fine. Not sure if the mediocre experience was due to the new location and weak management of the kitchen, or if Burton's has lowered their meat quality as a cost cutting measure. I am hoping it is the former. I will try it again, maybe after a while to see if they work the kinks out.

This place is really nice and definitely better food for the price than Cafe Escadrille also in Burlington. My filet was cooked perfectly rare, many places either over / under cook a rare, but they got it right on. Although you can easily spend 60 to 70 dollars a person, it is worth it. It may not be on par with Capital Grille but it's a bit cheaper and unlike more premium steakhouses like CG / Flemming's this place offers sides with your meal. Overall, premium food and atmosphere without killing your wallet as much as some of the competition. If you want good premium food in Burlington, this place is definitely the best (only counting CG / Escadrille, I haven't tried Landanna, although I have heard good things from friends).

It's time I write a review since I'm here at least once a week. I love this place; never had a bad meal. The cocktails are expertly crafted and the place is always spotless. Best burger ever, period. I love their risotto, so good it makes me forget how bad it is for me!!! Here's why I really come though: the best staff. Total team, total pros, from management down. Beautiful place, well run, and it shows in the food. See you next week!!

We came to this place on Monday night and were surprised how busy this place was considering it was Monday. However, we were seated promptly and our waitress was great. The wait for for the food was average and the quality was pretty good. I had crab cakes and my husband had fillet Mignon which was made exactly to his request. We will be back!

Burton's consistently delivers high quality delicious food. I dare you to find a better burger north of Boston. The quality of the meat is just so far above anything else used in the area for a burger. We've had several different dishes here and everything truly tastes made from scratch (as advertised), and everything impresses us. Fish tacos, burgers, short ribs, steak sandwich. Whenever we've had steak or beef it's always been cooked PERFECTLY. I always expect just once for it to be a little overcooked or undercooked. It never is. This speaks to the quality this restaurant is putting out daily. I typically avoid chains (especially for regular business) but Burton's has won me over!

We held a small bridal show over lunch. After making reservations, they were generous to put us in the back room separate from the larger restaurant free of charge since the restaurant was not crowded. Our waitress was phenomenal from her service to have special pink cupcake (celebrating a baby girl) desserts at the end! Great service, great food and wonderful treatment for our group! Will definitely be back!!

Very overrated. The seared tuna appetizer was horrible , and the salads were so small and plain that they looked like a side salad but at full price. Place looks nice but definitely not worth the price.

Fantastic find in Burlington. Loved everything on.the menu and found out they have gluten free and other food sensitive menus available. We had a short rib pot pie, Blue cheese salad, and baked zucchini rolls. All were amazing - clean plate club! Well definitely return.

I love their $1 oyster night! YUM! Totally worth it! Their other dishes are also equally as delicious...a little pricey but worth it! Their key lime pie is to die for. Definitely reccommend to family & friends!

Great place to take your kids. Our first time here... Food was very good. Service was outstanding. We have kids, and the kids meal came out right away. They split the burger for us. Wesley, our server, anticipated every need - brought out a water with my second beer and ten other little things that just make the whole experience better. Plus everyone there was just smiling and happy. We go out to eat a lot, and with kids, we appreciate good and accommodating service. I recommend this place highly.

Have been here a few times and can only speak to the one dish I've gotten! I like it so much, I haven't tried anything else! The beet salad is amazing! Most places skimp on the goat chz or the beets and make the focus of the salad the greens or some other component but the salad is just beets and goat chz (and a protein if you so desire..I've gotten salmon and it pairs really well). I always get a good cocktail here too. I like the white sangria and the mojitos! I would definitely go back!

Gltuen Free Heaven!!! I have Celiac's disease so eating out can be quite the chore. Not to mention the repercussions if I inadvertently get "glutened". I came on the recommendation of a friend and I was really blown away. The staff was very friendly and helpful about my restriction. It is so nice to feel like they took it seriously. I really appreciate that! They have a good sized menu for gluten free with great choices. Probably the best thing was the risotto balls, mainly because I thought getting something fried and full of cheese was never going to happen again! My dreams came true!!! I had delicious creamy gluten free chicken risotto for my entrée. Yes, I had to have every cream based dish because I didn't think it was possible. Yay, for these great chefs! I will always recommend and come back to Burton's, especially if you have any food restrictions. They know how to take care of you!

Yummy. Divides entrees up for you if you're sharing. Very pleasant and a good selection of draft beers. Love sitting on th patio on nice days. Food not too salty or greasy which is nice.

Excellent appetizers and food. Great if you have children - good menu for kids - they get to choose their dinner, sides and they even get desert!!! We love it as a great family dinner!!

Really pretty good food and good service. Decent wine and drink selection. The menu is steak centric and they do a nice job at that, the rest of the menu hits all the required notes/options (the Philly Cheese Steak Rolls are excellent). They seem to take pride in the food/presentation and service and that's what you want when your eating out - no matter where you are or how much you pay. I highly recommend trying Burtons Grill - the burger really is a must try.

Came here for my 23rd birthday. I was sick as ever when I got my shrimp feta pasta, so it tasted really bland. Next day, I feel a lot better and gain back my sense of taste, but the plate tasted just as plain. It was absolutely tasteless! My friends got the pan roasted chicken and NY strip. The chicken was really dry, but the steak was good. The service was absolutely exceptional, so I give Burtons that. Their other fishes look good, so I will come back to give it another shot. But for right now, I think it's just overpriced American food.

They do a dollar a oyster every summer on Wednesdays but I think that who ever they use to shuck open the oyster needs some training. Had them last Wednesday and there was a lot of shell pieces in them. Will not get them again there this summer. Love there food in general.

Came in here for my Birthday dinner with my family on Friday night. Our server was Brian and he was FANTASTIC. Very attentive, gave great recommendations, and was friendly/funny throughout the meal. For apps we ordered the buffalo chicken dip and steak egg rolls. I really enjoyed the chicken dip and my parents loved the steak and cheese egg rolls-although it was served with spicy ketchup-i would serve them with a second cooler dipping sauce ( like ranch) I had the chicken risotto which was delicious-definitely one of the top risotto dishes ive ever had. My dad also had the risotto and my mom and boyfriend had burgers. They both ordered medium-but the burgers seemed to be a tad bit on the rare side for them-still delicious though! The bread basket was delicious and the drinks were great. We will definitely be returning to try more stuff-oh and there is parking so thats a plus!

I first tried Burtons Grill a couple of months ago and have been back many times since then, more than any other restaurant! It has a great menu and everything I've tried so far has been delicious. Their burgers are particularly excellent and every appetizer I've had so far has been spectacular. Burtons is also really big on food allergies. I have Celiac disease and their gluten-free menu is great, encompassing a large portion of the standard menu and including several types of dishes that you wouldn't normally find on a gluten-free menu (such as breaded/fried items).

Went there for lunch and the waitress was very attentive. The manager or GM came by and asked how everything was. I ordered the Steak Sandwich and rather than it being shaved steak it was a nice piece of steak and a lot of cheese. The onion strips were really good! Their appetizers were just as tasty! Will be going there again very soon!

As someone who travels a lot it is hard to find great local places on the first try. After being greeted by two lovely young ladies at the door I was quickly escorted to a table in the lounge. My service was provided by Laura not only was the service excellent, her kind smile and sweet disposition made my meal more enjoyable. I was checked on several times by other staff for an all around excellent meal service. I had the pork tenderloin along with Sam Adams Red. Yum! Nice presentation and a just rite portion left room for some key lime pie. I got that to go so not sure yet how it tastes but if the rest of the meal is a preview I am sure to be in for a treat. This place has a great atmosphere sophisticated but not snobby, warm and reasonable quiet. I will be back for sure!

I usually like Burton's and find them to be pretty consistent, but today it was lackluster. Nobody acknowledged us on the patio for about ten minutes which was annoying because we were in a rush. Took another 5-6 minutes to get our waters. After that we told the waiter we were in a rush and he did try to accommodate us by getting our food order right in. I wasn't very hungry so I just ordered the philly spring rolls; they were ok but I don't think I would order them again. K got a blue cheese chip salad which seemed to be fine as well. I'm sure we will go back if we're in the area, but no need to go out of our way!

This is our go-to restaurant when we want a quality, yummy meal. We do save it for more special occasions however, as it is a bit pricey. We've been several times, the service is always friendly and generally prompt. Most recently we went for Valentines day. We had made a reservation in advance. Food is pretty awesome, I highly recommend the chicken mushroom ravioli! Drinks are decent; I got a godiva cherry chocolate martini on valentines day, it tasted good but the actual drink was a bit sloppy.

A good establishment defines itself by how they respond in difficult situations, and the staff at Burton's are unwaveringly professional and courteous. This past weekend, I sampled the ribeye on risotto, and it was really fantastic, and came recommended by the waitress as one of her personal favorites on the menu. A tender and flavorful cut, creamy and earthy risotto, and the balsamic reduction lent a touch of depth and sweetness that tied it all together. I will be replicating this combo at home, for sure. Anyway, my wife and I have been to the Burlington location a number of times before (all 4-star good), but this past Sat night, we had an 8:30 reservation for 7. It was a very busy night, and tables were packed. Unfortunately, a group our size is limited in where we can fit, and so when a prior group to us overstayed their (our) table, it delayed us severely by another 45 min to a seating around 9:15-9:20. The host staff was in close touch throughout the wait and profusely apologetic. I'll admit that the delay was a bit aggravating to a hungry group, but as a different table was ready to clear, that could fit us, a spread of apps were pre-orderd and rushed to meet us while we prepared to finally sit. They were generously comped, along with desserts to the otherwise outstanding meal. All in all, we left as a very happy (and very full) goup. The staff was very attentive and polite, taking excellent care of us through the evening, and we'll certainly be back.

Wow wow wow. What a gem. We stopped in looking for a gluten free friendly place to get a steak. The yelp reviews were promising so we gave it a shot. We were not disappointed. They are way beyond gluten free aware... They are so much more. The dedicated GF menu was clear and informative. They served a fantastic GF warm, fresh roll with a well balanced pesto aoli for dipping. The house foccacio also pleased. Our server Brian was well trained and friendly and made the meal perfect. Gluten free items are brought out by a manager on special shaped plates. Fried calamari GF was good if a little on the tiny size of squid. We shared the rib eye and short ribs GF. Outstanding and reasonable prices. The steak was perfect medium rare with perfect crust and seasoning. The short ribs were also delicious and fork tender. We shared the GF flourless chocolate tort and they nailed it. Raspberry drizzle and fresh cream were a perfect balance and the vanilla bean ice cream rounded out this perfect meal ender. Great wines by the glass. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and the service. Warm and cozy atmosphere and not loud at all while it was full. We can't wait to return.

We used to go there a lot from work as it is close to the office, service was great and we loved it. But that doesn't warrant a 5 star review. I came in today, with the wife, 3 kids and mother in-law. This party doesn't leave anywhere happy. We just loved it. I had the spicy Calamari and short ribs, both great! My wife and mother in law had the fillet, the kids had burgers and shrimps, with vegetable, pasta, fruit and healthy dessert. Service was great, food amazing all kids and adults left happy and left under 200 usd with a big tip.

For the money there are better places for a steak in Burlington. Food was good but not good enough for the money they want. Cafe escadrile, or even Capital grill much better for the money spent.

I have a dairy / casein allergy and my boyfriend is celiac, so eating out can be stressful. Burton's has an amazing gluten free menu and the waitress was patient and understanding with all of our questions. Sometimes restaurants can make us feel like a PITA, which we already feel like we are. But we felt really comfortable eating here and the food was great. They even have some fried options for celiacs, which isn't common at most restaurants because of shared fryers. We will definitely be back -- I hope they open one up closer to downtown Boston too! Nice to have another allergy friendly restaurant on our radar!

Went here for a lunch with the company. Rather unimpressed with the vegetarian options. (Everyone else seemed happy enough with their meals though!) I looked up the vegetarian menu ahead of time online, and saw a ravioli dish, and a couple other options, but I am guessing they were dinner options. Usually on any lunch menu there is some kind of veggie wrap, veggie burger, veggie sandwich, but all I could find was a couple salads. The harvest salad was okay, not a lot of dark leafy greens, a lot of dressing, and some "roasted" butternut squash etc. The service was fine. Noticed that they offered a gluten-free menu on request, and they seemed to be keyed in on allergies which is nice. Price was not bad for lunch.

Read the reviews in the parking lot and decided to go in. Great choice. We had the buffalo dip app. it was great! Then we had Mediterranean Chicken Risotto, it was good a lot of flavor, a little salty for my taste. The Shrimp and feta pasta was to die for very good. Great service and great creative drinks. Will def. go back here and bring friends. To fellow Yelpers, thanks for your reviews, without them we wouldn't have gone in!

I love this place. They have an extensive gluten free menu and nothing ever tastes like I'm missing out on the real deal. Most recently I got the fried fish sandwich. No one would ever know it was gluten free. The bun was fluffy, the filet batter was crispy and fried perfectly. They even have a gluten free chocolate cake. My boyfriend and I frequent this restaurant both for lunch and dinner. I've never been disappointed. Well, except this last time I ordered a lemonade and it was pretty bad. Watered down, tasteless. But that's the first time I got anything mediocre out of this place.

It's decent. Very laid back atmosphere. Simple menu with some more complex items, so I'm guessing that's enough to satisfy most everyone's tastes. Salmon wasn't overcooked, so that's good. I didn't investigate too much in the beer selection, but as long as they have a Sam's seasonal, I'm good to go.

This is s review for the vegetarian menu. Beet salad was very good but the angel hair pasta and risotto was heavy on butter but light on taste. Very very bland food. Service is quick and friendly. Big space so get seated quickly. Loud place so good to take kids out, downs their noise.

Went in for an appetizer because we received an email that all apps were half price. We decided to try it. Well, when we asked about it no one knew what we were talking about. Then we had to show the email and the staff had to ask around. The next response we got was yeah only during the football game were the apps half price. Made no sense. Checked with the manager and she said yeah they are half price. Well after all that you would think that we would have been given a free drink, or something for all the embarrassment and confusion. It's embarrassing to have to prove we are not trying to pull something over on the restaurant. It's your coupon you should know what you offer!!!!!!
