So excited when the buffalo burger was still on the menu at this B Good! Burger was great, but abnormally small. Perhaps 3 1/2" in diameter. The wheat bun was also very stale. Granted, I did come during lunch hour- which I never do- so obviously you have to be a bit lenient when three cooks are bombarded by customers. Although small, the burger was still filling. Two burgers and one fry were more than enough for two people. The food was also extremely fresh. If you have a problem paying $6.99 for a fresh, locally sourced burger- you can always stop by McDonalds instead.

B(eing) good is hard when it's this expensive. The food here is championed as being local and fresh. It sure tastes that way, but is it worth it for what you're getting? A small burger is 7$ and a tiny side of fries (not even big enough to share) is another 3$. I usually leave hungry from here after dropping more than I would at other fast food spots. In fact even the vegetarian only Clover next door is more filling and has larger portions. We ventured into salad land on our last visit. The combination of ingredients were terrific in the strawberry goat cheese salad (included figs and candied walnuts) but again the portion was unsatisfying. 8$ for a salad entree that was incredibly small. They didn't even fill the medium sized bowl all the way. There's a bunch of great fast food options in Burlington that give you great bang for the buck. The salad options here are really something you can't find anywhere else but will leave you hungry. For a burger and fries definitely go somewhere else.

I've only been to the B.Good chain once, and at this location only too, but I really liked it! There whole menu, store decor, and vibe really emphasizes organize, homemade, locally sourced food, which is cool. The whole place seems pretty welcoming and inviting, and if you join their club, you get emails every once in a while for free drinks, sides, discounts, etc. I get the impression that the owners really care about their business, and they take feedback seriously. The one meal I have tried was a cheeseburger with fries and a smoothie. All were yummy, and I appreciated that the ingredients and calorie intake for such a meal were so much less than they would be at a fast food place typically. They also have a lot of nice options for salads, chicken sandwiches, etc. I definitely plan on coming back sometime in the future to try out more of their menu!

My friend and I went here, and the people were super nice, but she got food poisoning and is still sick 3 days later... The food is delicious, but I think they need to be more careful with sanitation.

The food tastes pretty average. However the prices make this place the Whole Foods of the fast food industry! 20 bucks for a burger and smoothie!! This place also has a hipster vibe to it as they like calling every thing in their restaurant 'real' food. And organic. I couldn't tell the difference from any other burger though.

Arrived on a Friday around 1 pm and it was humming in the dining area but no wait to order. It was the first time for me and one friend but the other was the one who recommended this. I ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad with the dressing on the side and the baked sweet potato fries. One friend ordered the Butternut Squash and added chicken, the other one of the quinoa and kale bowls with a side of the veggie crisp. Our salads and quinoa bowl were great but the fries were a bit disappointing. They would have been great if they were hot and crispy but instead they were warm and somewhat soggy. Not bad for what some describe as a "healthy" fast food chain restaurant. We would probably return if in the area.

My husband and I each got a burger and sweet potato fries. He got a turkey burger, and I got beef. There was nothing special about the actual burger patty - not too much seasoning and it was a little smaller than I expected. The toppings were nice (mushrooms, onions, BBQ sauce, and cheese), so that added a little flavor. The sweet potato fries were not what I'm used to at all. They were soft and almost soggy, but did have okay flavor. I liked that they offer multiple kinds of meat, cold pressed juices, and some unique drink options. They're also affordable.

Food was great! Love the feeling that what I'm eating is fresh and healthy. Have only been once and had a great experience with the food. I will definitely return. With that being said, the boy who took my order was super rude. He rolled his eyes at me and my grandmother while we ordered. It was our first time so it is not like we were regulars that knew exactly what we wanted. Overall great place, though.

Got a chicken sandwich today. I was surprised how small it was. It seriously looked slightly bigger than a slider. It could not have been half a chicken brest. It had to be half of a half. Two tiny chicken sandwiches w a side of fries for almost $19 it just seems way too high. If the sandwiches were bigger it would be okay but they were small. Bobby burger palace is a similar price but you get more with better quality. Aside from the size and price, the chicken was dry. Just not worth the money.

This offers a variety of healthy choices with fast service. Burgers for all in my party were judged good, and fries were fine. I often go to Chipotle just a couple doors away, but this is a good change of pace and very competitive overall. An added feature is the availability of Maine Root soda which includes what might be called a craft root beer.

Fresh and healthy food without a long wait. When I went for lunch one weekday, it was PACKED. I was in and out in about 40 minutes. The smoothies are good. the salad portions are a bit small. I think it's a bit overpriced. The cashiers were friendly and the food was fresh.

  • Amanda B.

Be good you have been a little bad! All other dishes I've had here have been great except the chicken sandwiches. I feel the quality of the chicken wasn't like it was prior. It's been more chewy and I've had to cut off fatty pieces

I like the idea of B. Good. I really do. But every time I've come here, I've run into big problems. The bun on my sandwich is as dry as a puck every time, without fail. The burger itself is usually grey and lukewarm, the fries either limp and soggy or burned to a crisp. I really want to buy into the concept, but in order for B. Good to be relevant in the "fast healthy" space, they're going to have to up their basics game.

The Good: The sweet potato fries here are pretty great. But in all honesty, it's easy to do sweet potato fries well. Also the fact that it draws from local food sources is pretty cool. The Bad: The burgers. Mediocre at best. The price to food ratio is pretty bad. The Ugly: I simply don't the branding of it. I hear people rave about how it's so much healthier than the next burger. It's not. The good thing about B. Good is how it sources from local areas. If you really want something healthy, make your own lunch.

Went today and had "The Local" burger that even had a fried egg on it. Everything looks so fresh and they tell you where all of the ingredients are coming from. Also opted for a wheat bun which was pretty good too!

By far the best B Good location. Friendly staff and prompt service. I used to go here almost every day and if there ever was a small mistake they would make up for it 10X.

I'm a big fan of b.good. Even though their menu is small, it changes with each season based upon the fresh and local ingredients that are available. One of my go to favorites is the West Side burger. The mix of guacamole, fresh salsa and chipotle spread gives this not so basic burger a nice kick. I recommend it!

  • Alex B.

I always gave bgood a lot of crap since it is just another chain and I really dont like them. My coworkers and obsessed and got dragged here a few times while on this project. I was very skeptical at first but then I realized all ingredients are locally grown and fresh to death. I am keen on their southwest chicken salad. Also have gone with the veggies and I realize that they are way to salty. I think I will just stick with that salad.

Food here is generally good, but it wasn't on my last visit. I ordered a Cheeseburger and asked for it medium. They cooked it well done and forgot the cheese, one of the service guys noticed that it was missing cheese gave it back to the cook it sat on the counter for about 10 minutes (I watched the entire thing) Then he took a piece of cheese rub it on a hot greasy grill where they cook eggs and threw it on my cold well done burger. Disgusting. They should have realized it was cold by then and not to mention well done. The line was out the door and they were backed up and I needed to return to work, so I picked at a 1/4 of the burger threw it out and ate the sweet potato fries. Not going back. Gross!

this is the strangest place. I don't pay when i get food from here, we only go cause others bring us lunch frequently. The food is always horrible, specifically the burgers are god awful. Today the burger we ordered was the cousin oliver. omg, took one bite and threw it away. I ordered it medium, basically everyone in the world by default orders burgers medium. This place always cooks the burgers super extra WELL DONE, it's horrible, because normally the burgers on the best days taste like cr4p. But when they go to the extreme and cook the burgers well done, it makes it even worse. The Ketchup is disgusting, it's home made and makes me wanna vomit, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We al cringe in the office when we find out we are getting b good, we call it b Gross. i would never spend a dollar of my own money on this garbage. This place is for vegetarians, not people who like delicious food.

We frequently order lunch or get a takeout for dinner at this b good location. The burgers are excellent, salads are delicious and fresh, and fries are yummy. Our complaint is not with the food, it's with poor customer service. We were disappointed the last time we ordered a take out, a few of the items were missing. It's not the first time this happened. This time I promptly called, was put on hold for a long time, when they finally got back to the call I asked to speak with the manager. Well, there was no manager apparently to talk to that was on location. I asked for his email, again put on hold for a long time, like 15 more minutes --- B good lost a customer --- I won't go back.

It's about as expensive as a sit-down restaurant, and it literally takes as long to get your meal. The food is typical "high end" fast food-- burgers, salads, smoothies etc. Unfortunately, it is not fast. Took literally 20 minutes to get my food, while the atmosphere was strained by the other patrons' palpable irritation with the wait. There's a Chipotle two doors down. Do yourself a favor and just go there.

The food here is fresh and good. My issue is the service. It takes a long time to get the food out to the customers. If they could get more efficient in the kitchen they would get rated much higher.

When this place first opened it had amazing veggie burgers and fries. Sadly, when I went yesterday all I got was an expensive, COLD rice patty with little flavor that was nowhere near what I'd gotten before. The fries were half burned to a crisp and served ice cold. Only upside to my visit was the Maine Root soda machine. I hate to see a place have quality slide so dramatically.

Really, really delicious. I ate here for the first time today, got the Farmstand Tomato-Basil bowl and it was so yummy! The beans had snap and the dressing was great. Hamburgers for the kids, quinoa and kale for me.

I've been to various B Good locations many times now. Not sure why it has taken me this long to finally draft a review, but it's better late than never! B Good crosses the line between fast good and sit down in terms of quality of food and, in my opinion, does it better than most establishments. It's pretty tough to find locally sourced produce in your meal at a reasonable price, but somehow these guys manage. There are a variety of healthy options, or for those who enjoy their grease, you can still get plenty of it with their burgers and fries. And boy are those delicious too. We usually grab salads, which are delicious, but be warned, if you're hungry, just a salad won't cut it, and we've tried most of them. Theirs burgers too aren't too huge, but you can always add patties, toppings, what have you. The bottom line is you are paying for locally sourced food prepared acceptor ally well. Serving sizes aren't huge, so if you eat a lot, you may be left with a higher tab or leave hungry. So why did I knock off a star? Their shakes are forgettable. Looking back on my reviews, I guess I'm a bit of a shake snob. Make a forgettable shake and that's minus one star from me. Guaranteed!

Thanks to be B. Good when anybody says "hey lets get something quick" B. Good comes to mind. This keeps them happy because its quick, and it keeps me happy because I know I'm getting an amazingly tasty dinner. I have been to a few of the B. Goods in Boston, but this is my go-to since it's the closest to Stoneham. ONE time my order was brutally messed up, and not only were they nice about it and apologized a million times, but they refunded me without thinking twice and I didn't even have to ask. I would recommend downloading their app, you get random free items like french fries and smoothies when you scan it while paying, and you also get e-mails with updates and special promotions they are having. Aside from the fabulous service and concept, i LOVE their food. The burgers are oversized and juicy, salads are fresh, smoothies are tasty. I'm a huge fan of their sweet potato fries. Yes, maybe it's pricier then a fast food joint like McDonalds or Subway but your not eating processed food people! You can look at the photos of the local farmer that grew those potatoes while your eating! this is VERY affordable for something local. highly recommended!!!!

I love this place! The food is fresh and delicious and I "feel healthy" when I eat here, lol. I would recommend the Kale Krush smoothie, its so refreshing and it really fills you up. I also like the turkey burger, I got it with avoocado lettuce and tomatoe and it was awesome! Next on my list is the sweet potatoe fries and burgers...

I usually eat cusin oliver with sweet potato fries. 1. Price is ok (i don't have to tip like in BBP). 2. Burger tastes ok (less salt than BBP) 3. Why fries are so toasted all the time? Meat with lots of salt is tempting but I usually come here over BBP (Bobby's Burger Place).

  • Food E.

This place is b.slow. Always have to wait at least 20 minutes, even if it's not crowded. Visited today and my fries were soggy, my salad was missing chicken. Cooks are so out of it that they don't have the foresight to start cooking stuff so that the order is done in a reasonable amount of time.

Wonderful farm-to-table fare in a fast-food setting. Loved everything we tried, and seriously, the best hand-cut fries ever. The natural root beer and lemonades are amazing. Chicken sandwich and salad offerings were perfect. Wish they had some sauces like honey mustard for additional toppings, and maybe some desserts.

So often you walk into a "fast food" joint and you get crappy service and crappier food. Not so at B.Good! Justin at the counter was, in a word, amazing! VERY pleasant, patient and knowledgeable in explaining ingredients to menu items, looking up actual ingredients to accommodate food issues, and making recommendations, which were spot on! We had chickpea fritters with cucumber tomato salad and marinated mushroom pasta salad, and a deep fried brussel sprouts pita with a Dijon aioli, pickled cabbage, melted cheese and roasted hazelnuts. Add a side of shoestring fries and rosemary, and a freshly made ginger soda, and it made for a unique, unforgettable dining experience! All prep work and cooking is done right out in the open with fresh, never frozen ingredients. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I love coming here. An ideal combination of healthy food presented by fast food chain. Very fresh, locally sourced when possible, tasty lunch creations. Burgers from beef to veggie, and in between, with a variety of fixins', and large salad bowls. I particularly recommend the kale quinoa salad bowl, which is offered in a rotating seasonal variety of combinations. Sounds dreadfully healthy, but it sure tastes good, even if you are a junk food addict. Of course, you also could get a hamburger and fries. They make all the food to order, while you watch, with the huge bins of source veggies right there in the kitchen. The cashiers and food preparers are 2 different sets of people, thankfully, and all seem enthusiastic and happy. The place is quite popular, and with good reason. My criticisms are minor, and involve primarily the physical environment - small parking lot, cold dining room in winter, bathroom in a shambles.

Local fast, fresh and tastes homemade. Love that they serve Gluten free fries. I've only had the sweet potato but they were yummy. Normal portion sizes leaving you satisfied but not stuffed. If you are looking for greasy burger and fries this is not the place! Looking forward to going back to try other menu items. Wish they had a closer location.

Fresh, fast, delicious food. First time eating here, I am satisfied. I came in during the lunch rush, but didn't even get a chance to sit and wait before my food was ready. I will be back when I come to this area.

3.5 stars Good food - not great. Veggie burger was cooked properly, but the patty was bland. I expected more from a business that advertises freshness. Chipotle sauce was excellent. Fries were also good, but nothing special. Service was excellent. Store was casual, clean, with nice music. I really like the concept! Just wish the food had more flavor.

  • Brian K.

With burger joints being so popular at the moment, one would expect a place like this to make a bit of an effort to compete with places like Five Guys and Bobby's Burger Palace nearby. But the burgers are small and mediocre, the fries were disappointing, and the prices a bit high for such less-than-special food. It wasn't bad, but with better choices like Clover and SlowBones in the same plaza, and better burger options in the neighborhood, I doubt I'll bother to go back.

Right off the bat this place was awesome! Not only do they support local but they were great with my allergies. The staff was extremely helpful with the menu and b.good knowledge. Knowing we were new to the area they also provided us with some great things to do. Super friendly and fresh food. Great place for someone with celiacs and dairy allergy. Highly recommend their baked fries!

Took the family on Sunday afternoon. The place was busy, but not to busy to get our food in about 10 minutes. Burger was juicy, fries were so good worth the money. Staff was somewhat friendly. Atmosphere casual simple. Mentioned to the cashier that an App to order food online would be nice. He responded with" oh that is to hard, no way! To complicated to do." Really?

Got great customer service from Nate who sat me right down and took the order from my table since I'm on crutches. The new veggie burger is vegan and the best veggie burger I've ever had! Loving that the current seasonal veggies are roasted asparagus my favorite. Such a great place

  • A S.

The food is "ok" the service... leaves something lacking. Clearly just paying low wage and attracting kids who probably don't have much service experience, or desire, for that matter, to serve people. We've walked in and called once - which was a horror show. The kid put us on hold for minutes upon minutes, he was kind of rude and then they totally messed up our order and were not very apologetic about it. Having worked in the service industry, I try to be overly-patient and overly-sensitive that it's not an easy job, but this kid just was not even trying to stay on our good side.

  • Jon H.

High expectations, but was left disappointed. After looking in the windows on the way to Clover, we we're drawn in by the local and "real" food. The tables were dirty. The place was empty. I can only imagine how dirty the place is during rushes. The shake was good. The sweet potatoes were soft. I had been planning on returning them, but then my toddler, who hates things that are crunchy, got her hands on them. They were perfectly mushy for her. No joke. The burger was average, the regular fries were ok.

    B. Good now offers other options other than burgers and salads! Try the quinoa and kale bowl or the kale salad!

Decent burger, especially for a fast food kinda place. Buffalo style sandwiches are not even close to spicy though, that's probably my only complaint. They've got sweet potato fries too. All sides sold separately. It does get packed here for lunch, just like the Chipotle 2 stores down.

So delicious! think their burgers and shakes are really good! It's way better than mc Donald's or Wendy's located near by. But a little pricey so that's why there is only 4 stars

I love their burgers!! They taste so fresh. My favorite burger is the west side burger. I love guacamole & cilantro; what better way to have a yummy burger!!! Their sweet potato fries are delicious! Even their salads are really tasty. I definitely recommend this place to anyone. It's a burger place but I don't feel gross about it like McDonald's makes you feel.

I usually only come to this shopping plaza for Chipotle because, like another reviewer noted, it's a pain to get in and out of with so much traffic and so little parking. My husband and I decided to try B.good for something new and we weren't impressed. I ordered a turkey burger with sweet potato fries and a fountain drink. A turkey burger for $6.50? Okay, I can handle that because it's supposedly local and fresh. Fries and a drink for an extra $3.50? C'mon now. I know this isn't McDonald's, but even Subway's combo is $1 less. My husband ordered a burger with regular fries and a drink. We sat outside since it was nice on this day (a nice option, even if it's not much of a patio), so my husband went back inside to wait for our order. He came back with a veggie burger, hamburger and sweet potato fries. Not only did they give me a veggie burger instead of a turkey burger, but they didn't give him fries. After taking a closer look at my receipt, I realized that the cashier charged me for a veggie burger (not the turkey I had asked for) and that she didn't charge us for my husband's fries or drink (which means she gave us the cup without actually paying for it). My husband wanted to make a stink, but I knew I was only going to eat a couple of fries, so I gave him mine and dealt with the veggie burger. Sometimes the hassle isn't worth it. About 10 minutes later, my husband went back into the store for a drink refill and he said that someone else was making a loud stink about their incorrect order. Obviously we weren't the only victims. Kind of surprising, since it was Wednesday and very slow. Overall, not impressed. We might try the new location in Bedford since it's close to our house, but the price will likely deter us from even doing that. Oh well. We tried!

I love the juicy burgers here even though they'll crumble apart and make a giant mess all over the place. The homemade pickles are incredible so be sure to ask for some extra on the side regardless of what you order. The vanilla frozen yogurt milkshake is delicious and might even be healthy. They have gluten free items, but the chicken is not one of them so celiacs need to stick with burgers or salads. I'm really not a fan of the fries here. The sweet potato fries in particular always end up coming out soggy, which is a huge let down when you're expecting the crispy crunch of perfectly cooked fries.

ok- I went back against my better judgement. Food tasted the same- good and flavorful - and I like the local purchases idea for produce etc. Staff STILL seemed like they could care less about taking orders- I went in on a Friday night (this weekend) and waited a few to get someone to even recognize we were waiting to order. Once our order was taken - i got to sit and watch what went on- because there isnt anything else to do :0 The two staff members were babbling along in Spanish- if you want to talk about your pains of working there and who comes in- you MIGHT want to make sure the patrons cant understand you first.. Just sayin' Our fries were a bit soggy (soft?) when we got them but burgers were good. I guess Ill keep it in mind if I need a local fast food experience. Not quite sure. I really wanted to get more out of the pace. Im trying to be hopeful....

I must say B.Good in general is a great company, they have a great product with friendly staff and appreciate their customers. Ive visited multiple locations in and outside of the city and have always had good service. I must say I their food has little to no grease, great sweet potato fries, and great burgers and salads. This location is busy due to the office park across the street and during that time can get a bit loud. Other than that the staff is quick, thorough, and nice. Ive visited on multiple occasions at different times of day and have had great service; once day the cashier was having trouble with my card. Turns out I checked my checkin account and I was charged multiple times for the same meal and charged a overdraft fee by my bank because of this. I went to the B-Good website, pressed contact us and emailed within hours I was emailed back by a real employee rather than an automated reply. The gentleman looked into the transactions and mailed me out a check to cover the charges and then a gift card to show their appreciation as I have been a loyal customer and apologies.

I don't frequent burger joints since I don't eat beef and options for other kinds of meat are always limited and not as good. I thought I'd check this place out anyway since it's close to work and I wanted to try something different. I got the Chicken sandwich in a whole wheat bun, made as the Adopted Luke which is basically mushroom, cheese and caramelized onions. So good! I had the Southwestern chicken salad on the side since the burgers are definitely not large enough for a full meal. I actually liked the salad better than the burger, they're generous with the amount of meat and the grilled corn adds a nice touch. They're not always super attentive though, I recently placed an order to go and they conveniently forgot to burger in there and I didn't realize until later that my take-out bag only contained the side salad. I didn't bother to follow up but I'll be sure to double check next time!

Pretty quick food. The burgers are fresh and the fries are fresh too. But the fries are not crispy at all but soft (I kind of liked them too). Drunk Elvis is my favorite milk shake. Lunch tuim, this place gets quite busy.

Two best friends started a business on the simple premise, "make fast-food "real" by making it the way it should be... by people not factories." Finally this simple idea comes to the Burlington area in the form of a new b.good location. It's right on Mall Road by the Burlington Mall. Yeah, the same mall from the movie Paul Blart Mall Cop. Try a homemade, all natural, hand ground beef patty. Maybe a turkey burger, veggie burger or grilled chicken sandwich? They're all tasty and delicious. Order it one of many ways like Cousin Oliver, Buffalo, El Guapo, etc (check the menu for details). A nice side order of hand cut fries, sweet potato fries, cauliflower or other veggie crisps. Don't forget to wash it down with a delicious non-fat frozen yogurt milkshake or fruit shake! You won't be disappointed.

Wendy's burgers may be greasy, but at least they have better flavor. I have been to B Good a few times, and I'm always underwhelmed by the burgers and fries. To balance it out, I'm overwhelmed by the prices. I just spent north of $11 for a burger and fries, and I didn't even order a drink. The fries aren't very good either, just salty and mushy. Five Guys has them beat, hands down.

Finally a chain restaurant comes to Burlington that I'm excited about! I really love this place for quick, quality food. I love that ingredients are local and fresh; you can really taste it in the food. There are alot of burger/sandwich options but fries are amazing and a Must Try!! The interior is super clean and the service is great. You can grab and go or eat there- there are a bunch of tables and people tend to move in and out pretty quickly. I'm happy to see more healthy options in town.

The burgers are always good. Unfortunately today the service was slow and my fries weren't cooked properly.

Nothing I have ordered from here disappointed me. Burgers are juicy not greasy. You don't get that sloppy feeling like "what did i just eat?". Best drink is mint green tea is so good.

I have eaten here 2x, once in Burlington and once in Bedford. Both times I left disappointed. Sure, the food is fresh. That is a given. But the burgers are small, and the fries are small, and the shakes are small, but the prices are big. I think that Five Guys burgers are bigger, tastier and their fries are way bigger making them a better value by far. I never walk out of five guys feeling like I received poor value. And even if this place was as good a value as five guys, I still would say the five guys food is better.

This my first time dining here, and I had a very good experience. The burger I got was so tasty and fresh. I love that you can see all of the fresh vegetables behind the counter. Your food may take a few extra minutes to be prepared, but it is worth the wait.

Oh. my. b.goodness! (lulz see what I did there?) B.Good is so, so good. If there's one thing that I miss dearly as a gluten-free gal, it's a delicious burger, and for me, a lot of that experience used to be the bun. A bad bun = a bad burger. Well, as misfortune would have it, I can't have gluten-free buns either, due to other allergies. BUT....bless the b.good crew, they were on top of it and offered to swaddle my little moo patty with a big leaf of romaine lettuce. *cue cheeseburger angels singing* I could eat a burger! But would it cut the mustard withOUT a bun? (lordy my food puns are out of control today) Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Lo and behold, when you have a perfectly cooked burger topped with real, fresh toppings...no longer does the bun a good burger make! I have been back to b.good a handful of times since the first time, and literally just swallowed my last bite of lettuce-wrapped burger just now and had to write a review. Their fries are so soft and crisp at the same time, and fresh. The ingredients in and on the burgers are so high quality. And not to mention the staff is so friendly and accommodating. They're real people instead of blank-stared robots and actually like, ask you stuff, and talk to you, and smile and say thank you. It rules! I recently tried their sweet potato fries as well and they are delicious. Of course with any burger place I wouldn't want to eat here everyday (okay maybe I'd WANT to, but my insides might not thank me), but that just means I get to build the excitement between visits when I'm ready to have another burger. Oh and this probably goes without saying but they cook their burgers impeccably. So juicy and perfectly cooked. Not overdone, not underdone, not dry, not soggy. I have yet to try a shake but I've talked to a couple of people who have had them and they couldn't stop raving about it. Keep doin' what you're doin', b.good! Your burgers b.good! (ok...seriously stopping now)

This is my go-to treat lunch spot near work. Parking is a breeze in the lot that serves this spot and nearby stores. They focus on preparing and serving locally sourced and grown foods. They make it taste great, too! They have good fries and sweet potato fries, which you can watch them make in the open prep kitchen. Pick a burger type - veggie, turkey, beef, or something else I'm forgetting - then a topping combination, or create your own topping mixture. They also serve big entree salads, which I love! Ingredients are varied and tasty, such as goat cheese, pecans, dried fruits, and apple slices. And their shakes are soooo tasty! They make shakes from Tosci's ice cream, or from frozen yogurt (you pick). There are several flavors to choose from, including fruit shakes and chocolate/vanilla. Personally, I always get the chocolate malt + yogurt shake here, since I can't get one of those anywhere else! Tangy and malty and full of chocolate, and oh-so-creamy delicious. Great place for a lunch or a quick dinner, with options if you don't want a burger and fries that are actually tasty!

Surprisingly mediocre burger, especially in light of other reviews. Light, warm, fluffy bun held a cold, tasteless burger that dripped fat or some other liquid and soaked the two napkins I wrapped it in. Tasteless cheddar cheese and pickles didn't help. Bleh.

Pretty decent. Wish I could give it 3.5 stars, but I think 4 stars is too much. Burger was good. Wish I tried one of their signature burgers instead of making up my own weird pregnancy concoction. Fresh ingredients. The sweet potato fries were awesome! I like that they offer veggies for a side as opposed to fries, but you can't get them as a side for a kids meal. Really? I'm hoping the girl behind the counter didn't know what she was talking about. I guess I'll find out the scoop next time I'm there.

Only driven by during the week, this place seems to be crowded by many suits and pencil skirts. Wisely, I have only opted to come in on a Saturday afternoon. I love how the menu is simple; hamburger=beef and no filler! Prices are reasonable, or at least the going rate of any other joint. The burgers are au natural, so if you're not a heath critic, this may not be for you. I enjoyed it! The lemon-limeade was very good! Tart and sweet; just the way I like it. Staff is friendly and my wait did not take very long. I will soon come back again!

This is a delicious and nutritious burger place. I really haven't had a yummier burger anywhere else and knowing that the ingredients are fresh, organic, and local make the price worth it. I've been to several locations and the quality is just as good everywhere. I've tried their salads and they are large, filling, and yummy as well. I've tried their fries, sweet potatoes and veggie sides and I recommend them all but their veggies are the best. Milkshakes are yummy too.

The food is good. The service is not. It takes a while to get your food because. I feel this is because the workers do more talking then working. They spend a lot of time talking to each other while preparing the food and get caught up in the conversation and stop in mid burger assembling to finish a thought. Also the layout is not comfortable. It is like a maze trying to get your food or get a drink. I like the place because of the quality of the food, but the service, layout, and prices are what brings them down a star in my book.

I'm a guilty carnivore, so when I eat meat, I want it to be good meat, and b.good is good meat. Burgers are a good size here, and the sweet potato fries are thick cut, so you're basically eating a whole sweet potato when you order them. Service is pretty fast and it's nice to be able to see their entire operation, including the fresh vegetable rack where they freshly select all the toppings. I also got issued a QR tag so they can scan it for rewards. On my second trip in, I'm due for free fries! People will say that the burgers are expensive here, but you need to keep in perspective that the meat has no hormones and no antibiotics and they come in steak form and are then ground up into patties -- this means no "pink slime" in your burgers and far less odds of getting Mad Cow Disease. Pay for better meat and ease your conscience just a bit.

b.good seems to be a really great little burger place. The menu has a few items, but each item is GOOD and has several options so that you can have exactly what you want. For a burger and fries place, the nutrition info isn't that scary, either, and the ingredients seem to be locally sourced. The burgers and sweet potato fries are delicious, and the yogurt-based shakes are also quite tasty. I've been consistently impressed with how quickly and efficiently they work through the line ... it's almost always nearly out the door at lunchtime, but it's barely five minutes before you get to place your order. Really the only downside is the crowd...the entire area is jam-packed at lunchtime because everyone and their brother works in the area and wants to eat lunch at the mall or surrounding areas. There isn't enough parking and there aren't enough tables, so carpool with your buddies and be prepared to get your lunch to go.

I've tried this place twice while living in Belmont. The idea behind it is great: healthy, local fast food. However, it's way too expensive. It cost about $12 for a veggie burger, fries, and a shake when I could get the same thing at Burger King for half the price (obviously not of the same quality but it tastes the same to me!). If the prices were lower, it would be an average fast food place...nothing special but not bad either.

I have been twice.... The Bad: The first time I loved it. I went with a group of people I got the buffalo chicken sandwich both times. Fist time it was awesome, second it was not. The second sandwich was dripping with buffalo sauce, which I hate!!! and because we didn't eat there, I didn't realize until we got home. Fries were good as always, they are baked and not fried I believe, so they are not crispy like some would expect so if you like them, they are awesome, and if not they are probably not. But I don't think its a reflection on the establishment, its just not the way some people like them. The good: My girlfriend is gluten free and they are very attentive to her needs which is awesome, because some places are very not... They source all of the ingredients locally which is awesome. For some reason I am very into sustainable farming practices, so this aspect of b.good alone makes the whole place very worth wile for me. The fries are awesome, and the food is generally pretty healthy. And.. Like I had said the first of the two buffalo chicken sandwiches was awesome, the chicken was moist and flavorful....the second was probably the same way, but it was swimming in buffalo sauce...which again...I hate!!!!....So I couldn't taste it. All in all a pretty awesome place, I think for now its OK, I would go there again, but I my face on fire from the meal I just had, so I think some more standardization would help the establishment quite a bit. ***UPDATE*** So...In addition to posting on yelp, I sent an email to the company via the contact info presented on the website outlining my review above. The following morning I was elated to find that the co-owner had replied to my email with an apology for my experience the previous evening and even credited my club member account with a free fry and sandwich.........Awesome... I am thoroughly impressed with this follow up, and there quick response to my concerns demonstrates that b.good is a company dedicated to excellent customer service. I kicked them up to 5-stars, this company is awesome, I hope they open one in Danvers.

I don't think this place should be categorized under "fast food". As everything is, for the most part, made to order. You can taste the difference in the burgers and the fries.....both are wonderful. Great fresh flavors.....LOVE THIS PLACE!

Excellent burgers. Good fries. Good shakes. Fancier than fast food, more casual than waiter service, this is as good as "stand-in-line and order with no server to take your order" food gets.

I've been here twice this week, and would definitely go back if I worked/lived nearby. I like to eat local when I can, and this place seems to fit the bill. They use eco-friendly packaging too (reusable stuff for eat-in, biodegradeable stuff for take-out). Here's what I ate and what I thought: First visit was 11:35am on an Monday. Order taken promptly. I ordered the Cousin Oliver Burger medium rare (Lettuce Tomato Onion, housemade pickle slices) on a white bun with cheddar cheese (~$7.50), an order of fries and an iced tea. My food came out in less than 5 minutes. The burger was really good. It looks like they start out with a 1" patty and it gets smashed down on the grill to get a better char on it. Mine was about 5/8" thick when I ate it (thicker than Five Guys), and was cooked to a perfect medium rare. It was really well seasoned too, with just the right amount of salt on the patty. The toppings were fresh and tasty... the onion was raw and a little much (whopper-breath for the rest of the day) so I'll order it without onion next time. The bun was really good (looked like house-made, or at least custom made for the chain), and was toasted on the grill. The whole thing held together pretty well, unlike a 5-guys burger and wasn't too messy. The fries were really bad... soggy and greasy looking on the outside... as if their oil wasn't hot enough to crisp them up. Definitely no double-fry method here like at 5-guys. I ate in and the music was lively and the atmosphere was pretty good. The Iced tea was house made, lightly sweetened, and very good. On the way out the line was maybe 8 deep (noon time rush) but seemed to be moving fast. Second visit, 11:30 on a Thursday. Nobody in line, food took ~2 minutes to come out. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, Sal Bacado style with cheddar (with Corn salsa, Bacon and Avocado) on a wheat bun. I got a side of Southwestern Chicken salad. The chicken sandwich was pretty craveable... great contrast of textures with the crispy bacon, creamy avocado, fresh corn. I got a bunch of unexpected textures in there that kept me guessing in a good way (mmm... that was delicious... was that bacon, or the char on the chicken breast?). The chicken itself was cooked properly, and was juicy and not dry. It does have some sort of seasoning mixture on it that didn't work perfectly with the southwestern theme (I think I saw and tasted some thyme in there). The bun, again, toasted on the grill, and really well made. These toppings were a little messier, but I enjoyed picking out the bits left on the paper wrapper at the end. The salad was good and fresh... the chicken in there had some barbequeue sauce on it, avocado was ripe, grape tomatoes corn and beans were all good. Overall, a great place for a quick bite. Recommended.

We are from Connecticut and have not been to one these burger places before. I have to say, we were impressed with their fresh ground beef and the quality of their hamburgers. I like the fact they support local farmers and have a unique menu of fried fresh veggies. Their sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had. Would definitely return to this place when I'm in the area and have a yearning for a good burger.

I've given them FIVE chances to produce a well-done burger. I won't waste my time and money there again. Apologies are useless. Can't they just learn how it's done? it is not rocket surgery; press the end of a spoon (or anything, even a thumb!) into the center of the burger before you put it on the grill. I pity the fool who tries their turkey burger. The fries are nice.

Second time for us last night ... Got the Joanie and the West Side ... the Joanie was dry and lacked flavor ( sriracha must have been left off ) West Side was better but they were both about half the size of the last time ... got a bacon cheese burger today from the local Sports bar, Mavericks, and it was twice as big and good for less money.

First their hours are horrible, I have to say. So They were closing in five minutes and I ordered the regular fries, the employee touched them with his hands, but being there before and receiving a way better experience, plus the fries were to die for, I do absolutely love them always always always

Do not recommend this place at all . Burgers were way to cooked and dry...fries were burnt and cold...the cashier had no personality at all and rang a few of our things up wrong. the one star was for the strawberry banana shake. Will not be running back there.

I've given this place two tries but won't be back for a third. Unlike other reviewers, I've had no problem with the service--the order takers are friendly and my food arrived very promptly. It's the quality of the food that I have a problem with--the fries (both the regular and sweet potato) are extremely soggy and limp; completely unacceptable. Not only that, but each scoop hasn't had full fries in it, just the end pieces...terrible. Burgers are dry and don't taste like they've been seasoned. A classic burger with cheese and fries came to $10....not worth the price in my opinion.

I originally went in here expecting sandwiches and such, but to my surprise, burgers and fries are the only thing on the menu. Everything tastes as fresh as they say it is and they are consistent from visit to visit. You do pay for the higher quality burger, about $10 for a burger/fries/soda combo.

d.licious! We love it here. The sweet potato fries are delicious and nothing is greasy. Recommend the cousin oliver burger. Real good pickles if you like them on your burger too!!

So happy that b.good is growing in the suburbs. The ingredients-beef, dairy, etc... are sourced locally. That alone is not meaningful to me unless the food is good. Love the food at b.good. Key is setting expectations. So you go into a fast restaurant and what are your options? McDonalds, Wendy's, etc... I like them sometimes. But you don't want to overeat there. The salt is actually what I find the worst. 5 guys, etc... Good, but the meat is small and greasy. Yes, tasty, but also more expensive than people seem to admit. John Harvard's, Applebee's, etc... Good, but pricier for a burger, it will take 20 minutes to get one, even if you just order to go or eat at the bar. But good burger size. b.good is like the perfect compromise. Burgers and chicken sandwiches portions are closer to a McDonalds Angus burger or almost a burger at Chili's than a small patty at 5 guys. So good portion. However, the food is prepared in fast-food timing- So no wait and much more convenient than a casual dining restaurant. Taste profile is closer to a craveable fast-food burger, but with the satisfaction of something more substantial. A bit more expensive than McDonalds, in-line with the price of a lunch at Chipotle or something, less than lunch at Chili's. The fact that the ingredients are local and natural is just a bonus. But nice. Some people seem to get angry at b.good because they walk in with their own expectations of what "healthy" means and when b.good doesn't obey them, they flip out. For example, someone left a review where they complained that because veggie burgers contain egg, they are not veggie burgers, so b.good is lying. 1-star review. That is bull- egg is part of a vegetarian diet, it is not part of a VEGAN diet. b.good does not promise vegan burgers. So how to set expectations: Does it have the flavor profile of a greasy 5 guys burger but with lower calories or better ingredients? No. If you crave that In-N-Out/5 Guys/etc... flavor, go there. Does it have the uniform cut and presentation for all items like a McDonalds? No. Does it have burgers that are super, super lean and ultra "healthy" by virtue of being small or flavorless? No. Does it offer a better burger? I think so. Calories are a bit lower than greasy fast food, but the goal is not zero calories at the cost of flavor. Flavor is great, but it is a profile which is not greasy, but not an oversized steakhouse burger either. I like it. Used to go to the one in Cambridge, now glad they are in the suburbs!

I loved that the produce used for cooking was on display like the fresh produce at your local farm stand. The local source of many of their menu items is also displayed around the walls. I had the veggie burger and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the chicken sandwich El Guapo style. The chicken was cooked just right and the spicy aioli was tasty. Priced slightly higher than your average chain but the quality is also higher than average.

This location does a good job, clean and not too crowded on weekends. I like the burgers and the fries here and they usually have some kind of special offering making it worth stopping in once in awhile to see what's new. The sweet potato fries are better, but they charge more for them. Love the fresh lemon-lime drinks they make. I find it's going to run you $7-10 per person, which is fair for what you are getting here overall.

Yummy burgers! I had a veggie burger with avocado, cilantro, salsa, chipotle and lime and my husband had a beef burger with mushrooms and carmelized onions and we split an order of sweet potato fries. Everything tasted really fresh. Plus it was great knowing the food was locally sourced and prepared on site! We'll be back for eat-in and take-out.

Made the drive from my parents house in Billerica to eat lunch here and I wasn't disappointed, its exactly what the area needed. Other "good for you" eateries just don't taste very good, this place tastes great and has the added benefit of being locally sourced. I like that!

b.good is the "apt" name. while driving away, my Dad said wouldn't it be better to b.great!! the burger was ok. the fries were ok, on the soggy side, with many left over as opposed to eating every morsel of fry on my plate. service was ok, the register girl lacking in personality, but the "call out" service was better, making sure we had everything and had gotten our shake. not a fan

El gaupo turkey burger. Fries well done. Fresh jalapenos. I'd like to see the fries a little less well-done, but I like the freshness of this place. They prepare quickly and the dining area turns over quickly, so if there's a line, don't get too worried.

Fast food that doesn't feel fast. I like b.good because they go out of there way to really try and deliver a fresh product. it does show and you do taste it. The only drawback i have is I wish they toasted their buns on the sandwiches. That said the fries are great. They have limited seating but isn't bad for groups of 4-6. Best for lunch

Finally! A great burger place. Burgers are grilled, so they are not oily. Excellent quality ingredients. Baked fries are delicious and healthy. People that complain about slow service should go to McDonald's where your "burger" is precooked and comes out in 6 seconds. A real burger is supposed to take some time to cook on the grill. Highly recommended.

just went ..can't believe someones said it's too much to eat..everything is petite sized ...I'm about a 200 lbs man and i went there hungry and left even hungrier ..five guys burger gives you more for your money..their shakes are awesome but cost a $$ the buns fall apart as soon as you touch them..the cooking time seems to be too quick witch would make me believe its pre- cooked trickery going on (thus the cold burger)..folks there's nothing special going on here.. the 3 stars is just so people see this..P.S..if you want small burgers with soggy fries then this your place..I'm just trying to help

I've had the west side chicken burger. It was kind of like guacamole on it, but not all mixed together. Tomato, onion, avacado, and a good sauce. The service was not fast at all, so I can't go during lunch. That's ok, though. Always odd to get a burger out in 3 minutes. Prices were average. We called an order ahead a while ago and they got all the burgers right and the sides wrong. It's alright though. Honest mistake. Everyone was cool about it. The best part of B Good, are the sweet potato fries. They really taste like sweet potatoes, not just orange fries. They are thick and you can fold one end to the other, if you like that sort of thing. Everyone I know likes the burgers. They have veggie burgers too. Not a huge menu, but you can pick your bun, meat, and toppings. I'd highly recommend, but don't go if you are in a rush. Or call ahead.

Wanted to like this place, really. Stopped in for a late lunch. Turkey burger ok, nothing to write home about. Husband's burger overcooked and dry. Sweet potato "fries" a mixed bag; some ok, some burnt and tough, some limp and soggy. Prices are high for the hit-or-miss food, the fast food atmosphere, eating on paper, and minimal service. Can't think of a reason to give it another try when better options are all around.

I have been to two of these: Burlington and Bedford. Been having some gall bladder issues so wanted to find a place that didn't automatically assume you want a half a jar of mayo. I thought the fries might be legal, but they fry them for 15 sec before putting them in the oven. One visit was about 3pm and the fries were mealy. Otherwise, great. Turkey burgers have been excellent. They vary somewhat, but still far better than fast food. I like the mint iced tea but would appreciate an unsweetened choice.

Took my 16 year old son and his friend there. 2 burgers, 1 fry, 2 drinks (blended yes, 16oz... not huge.$26.25 I thought that was outrageous. You give your order to a cashier and carry it to your table or take out. Food was good but for that kind of money, we could have gone to Outback. Will NOT be going back.

Very good burgers with good options. This will be my go-to for fast food now. It is a little more pricey, but worth it for the local quality ingredients and flavor. Enjoy the fries, burgers are great, much more juicy than any other fast food places. Great shakes. They make the chocolate right... Vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup.

I had the pleasure of my first b.good meal today. As a vegan, when I saw the menu I was a bit worried but the crew was incredibly helpful. They took their time and together we stitched together a great meal. Salad, seasonal veggies and yes, I tried the sweet potato fries. I was surprised as home much I enjoyed that meal. I'll be looking forward visiting this or another b.good location soon. By the way, this location does have WiFi. The password is, I think realfoodfast.

Very disappointed in my burger. Service was okay. Very clean. My burger was cooked to death. I don't get these places that advertise they purchase the finest beef, grind it in house and then cook it to the consistency of a hockey puck.I should know better than to walk into a place like this expecting a nice fat juicy burger that's still pink in the middle but I digress. I ordered the El Guapo. Already told you about the burger. The jalapeno ranch dressing was non existent. I think they put mayo on it instead. I got 2 slices of jalapeno that were one on top of the other so I got one spicy bite. When I walked in, the place looked like a super clean Farmers Market with fresh veggies stacked high in bins behind the counter so my expectations were high. How they produced such a flavorless meal from these beautiful looking ingredients is beyond me. The bun was meh and the fries were fairly non descript as well. The people who worked there seemed nice enough but nothing special. Kinda ho hum but then again, I'm not expecting anything other than decent, polite service when I go to a fast food joint. Therefore, I have no compaints regarding the service....or the cleanliness. In summation, just another over-hyped burger joint where the owners put more time into creating a cute website than into the actual taste of the food. Maybe the other burgers are better but the beef burger was a total disappointment. I will not return.

Over-priced and very mediocre burgers. I've tried this twice and don't think I'll be going again. First time I had the turkey burger, and the meat was very dry. Second time I went for beef, and it was just OK. You end up spending $12 for a lunch that's not as good as McDonald's.

Office recently moved to Burlington and saw this place nearby and decided to give it a try. First off the service was bad. There are 2 registers you can order from and no one was in line behind me. When one register opened up the girl in front seemed to be having technical difficulties and did give me any eye contact or ask to take my order. Then the other register freed up and I stepped forward. The guy at this register also did not give me any eye contact or attempt to take my order, instead he proceeded to help the girl with her register. He never said excuse me or even ask me to wait a moment. (Uh did I say there was NO ONE behind me? like there was some big rush to get that done). Anyway about 2mins later he asked me what I would like. I said I had never been here before. Normally that would signal for you to tell me how it works but he seemed clueless. So I ordered what I thought was what I wanted and he seemed to get it and put my order in. He was very unfriendly and didn't really seem to care. Asked my name and gave me my change. He didn't even tell me where to go to pick up my order. Second the food. Bland, bland and can you say bland? I got a veggie burger with the sauteed mushrooms, onions, provolone and bbq sauce. I've had veggie burgers before and this was probably the worse one. You can't really go wrong with mushrooms, onions and cheese so that was ok. But even the bbq sauce was very watery. Actually that's exactly what it tasted like, watered down bbq sauce. This place boasts fresh ingredients and even lists local markets/vendors they receive products from. That's all good but if you don't cook them well or incorporate some flavor what's the point? Nope sorry won't be going back here again.

This has become my wife and I's new go-to place... Whether it's the burger, turkey burger, or chicken - food has been fantastic. Hint - single serving of fries is enough for 2 - which are much better and healthier the "fast" food places. Their lime lemonade is pretty rockin too!

b good its name is its review good fries, salad and the chicken is delicious but the burger are like rotted beef and moldy buns and fries are to die for but it has a awful atmosphere unfinished tables dimmed lights and no space a hell of a place and its a little creepy when a gang of portuguise walk in and talk to the staff for an hour when they are supposed to be serving you overall okeee

We love bgood. Ingredients are always top notch and the fat free shakes are delish! It is always nice to have a burger and know it is not completely awful for you! So happy to have one in Burlington now :)

Normally i am happy with service. However today I had a less than stellar experience. I ordered a veggie burger which was somehow ready after 2 mins. I didnt immediately answer my name since it was so quick. The server seemed annoyed and when i asked to confirm my order she seemed even more annoyed. After i got back to my desk I realized why it was ready so quick. It tasted like it was made yesterday. so much for fresh food. Just wanted to thank you for wasting my time and money.

Went to Burlington for business and saw this place on my way to the office. I sure was glad I gave this place a try. It's probably the best burger I've had in years!! Bread is toasty, meat is juicy and goes perfect with avocado sauce and cilantro.
