The place is good if you want booze poured down your goblet. The food, however, is extremely sub-par. Overcharged on two different occasions, messed up the bill on another. Even when you're drunk, you're still better off feasting on whatever else you can find. Oh, and $9 for a side of broccoli that literally smells like farts? C'mone, MeeKing dudes.

Pretty much the par to measure Bridgewater area Chinese takeout places by. The have a full bar and good hours (though everything closes way earlier than it used to in Bridgewater say 5 years ago. Service is usually fast. Combination specials are the best deal. Crab rangoons are the best in the area. Pork fried rice is best (freshest) when ordered during the busy times. Egg rolls are good but my personal favorite is Deng's Garden egg roll. A great place for junk food and booze loaded Polynesian cocktails.

I think that this place is by far the best Chinese around in Bridgewater. The staff are great, they get the orders right, the prices are fair. The drivers are fast, courteous. I've had take out a bunch of times with no complaints. I've sat down there and it's clean, the servers are well-paced and the food is just consistently good. By far the cleanest Chinese restaurant around here.

Just realized that I have not written a review for this place. We love getting our American-Chinese takeout fix from this place. They have hands down one of the better boneless spareribs comparable to those in Chinatown. The egg rolls are great and so is the beef teriyaki. No complains when it comes to their pork fried rice in all its greasy, msg-ed glory. Then again, that is what I expect when I order Chinese take-outs. I personally will go for their General Gau's Chicken, then again, I really like the General. Hubby loves their Szechuan Chicken, which I am not a fan of. The crab rangoons are always fried to crispy perfection and the hot and sour soup is your usual Chinese food fare. Chicken Wonton Soup is okay but I won't say great. They usually have coupons at the bottom of the menu that gives you a few bucks off. Use them wisely. Delivery usually takes 30 mins - 45 mins, which is okay considering we are located in the next town of where Mee King is.

Plain, un-tasty food. Pork chow mein was tough and almost all celery. Egg foo yong had NO flavor. This used to be our go-to spot for Chinese, but my recent order was just so bland--I doubt we'll be back. Sad...

FOOD POISONING ALERT!!! I have been sick for two days now. Now when I say sick I mean real sick. I cant see straight, have a fever, headache, and I'm constantly running to the bathroom at least once an hour... I went here before a party around 7pm on a Saturday night. We used to get delivery from this place when I was a Bridgewater resident and it was never a problem. The waiter was nice the service was good, bathroom not so nice, but for the most part a typical Chinese food place. I got chicken and shrimp with mixed veggies and my girlfriend got sesame chicken, we shared a bowl of white rice. My food tasted good, her's was terrible the chicken was all dark meat and very fatty but after what was about to happen to me I now wish I got the sesame chicken even though it resembled ligaments from the feet of a chicken deep fried. The only other thing I ate that she didn't was the pineapple chunks they brought over after we were done eating. I will never eat there again and I prolly wont eat Chinese food for a few months this was a terrible experience and I am still going threw it now almost two days later :( Stay away from this place!

I had better chinese food. The waitress was surrounding me after our meal to see if we tipped her. That is kind of rude. The food was not all that

Stay Away!!! I really don't know where to start. Food-sucks, Staff-sucks, New location-sucks. Their whole system is screwed up, you can only order certain food at the bar, and then theres limitations to what you can order while siiting down. Do you want my fucking money or not? Either the way Food sucks, do yourself a favor and take the ride to Chang Feng in Brockton. OK- Just to be fair, I recently went over my parents house and we decided to order take-out. So they wanted the poopoo platter for two from this dump. Long story short, menu had a coupon for a free large app. and we got the poopoo all for $20.00. It didnt suck, but c'mon it's a effin poopoo platter and fried rice!

HORRIBLE. Went there today for chicken and fried rice. The fried rice was so gross didn't taste normal and the chicken wings were so greasy and looked very nasty to the point where I stopped eating it. I literally threw away the whole meal after trying to take bites to see if it would get better but it kept getting worse and worse I wasted that $ and had to get something else to eat. Im new to Bridgewater im from Washington, D.C. So I am adjusting to the difference in foods this place will never see my face again. EW Blechk

I can't say it was good or bad....I mean it was very greasy. Some people think thats good...but I consider it bad. Also, I can't say it was fresh because for 3 people the food was brought out in under 4 minutes....it also did not taste fresh. I guess for a typical New England preferred Chinese food...this place is just O.K. The prices were high for what you get. I'll try to stay away from this place.

This place was #1 for me for a long time. Now the food is getting bad the take out is really bad they give you old food that was fried a hour a go .Time to find another place.

Best Chinese food in bridgewater and surrounding! The place is rather small, so I tend to get take out, but I have eaten there and have had just as good of an experience. Only down fall sometimes was a language barrier with the wait staff, but not bad at all and definitely tolerable : )

Food is great! I've never eaten in the restaurant, but I have done pick up (clean, dim lighting, small bar) and delivery is always fast and friendly.

Giant pupu platters keep the stomach and wallet full. The mixed drinks are a good mix of boozy an delicious. One of my favorites by far.

Have been getting take out from Mee King for years. The PuPu platter is the best ever. The best Chinese food in the area, Brockton included.

I am so happy to find Chinese food that is really good around here that is not overpriced and very fresh!! We ordered 2 nights in a row it was so yummy. No complaints and they give a ton of duck sauce and speak English when you call :) We mostly ordered apps and house rice...really yummy! This is the only place we will be ordering from for this type of food in the area. SOLD!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
