Can only review them based on delivery, not their actual establishment!! Have gotten two deliveries from this particular location. Both times it was pretty painless, once ordered by phone the other online. The first time ordered our pizzas arrived extremely fast! Got the tomato & basil and the apparently pretty popular bacon potato one. Was such a fan of the tomato & basil! Globs of riccota and fresh basil scattered throughout with a rich tomato sauce was great. I wanted to love the potato bacon one just as much but unfortunately I didn't. The flavor was great but it was just very dry, could be the lack of sauce but I wasn't a fan and if it had been creamier it would've been solid. Have also tried their sausage vidalia onion pizza, more onions on it than sausage for sure- but regardless quite tasty. Tip: order by calling and not online.. second time ordering we called after an hour to check on our order and the lady said their deliveries were backed up for 2 hours. Kind of crazy, but luckily after we called we received ours about 15 mins after the hour mark... So if you're in a rush or starving just call ahead to make sure they're not crazy busy. Wouldn't hesistate to order from them again, next time I will place my order through the phone and most likely get the Tomato & basil once again and perhaps explore a new flavor with the squash one.

Oh OTTO, I really wanted to like you more. Be forewarned, Otto's pizza itself really isn't the issue here, because it's decent when you finally get it. But dealing with the staff here isn't worth it when there are so many food options on this strip. Also, no AC in the summer, kind of a prerequisite when you are expecting people to sit in there. I've been in here a few times and gotten slices which are typically cold, and I have to wait 20 minutes just to talk to someone on an average weekday night. The flavors are good and their topping options are fun and fresh but the pizza is thin so sometimes the toppings over power it. I came in for lunch today though and got a little less than ideal treatment. I ordered a marghertia pizza and the table on the other side of the place ordered a white bean and spinach. They had a new server who mixed up the pizzas, and knew he did it, but didn't say anything. When I finally mentioned it they said "Oh yeah we knew, sorry we'll refire it." If you knew, shouldn't you have already said something...? I get that the server was new and mistakes happen but you should probably fix them when they do, rather than waiting for customers to notice. Then they said it was our fault for not noticing sooner, that's why they hadn't refired it. I had never ordered a marghertia pizza from here so I didn't know what to expect, and the spinach could have easily been basil on this red sauce dotted and cheese pizza, which is what every other margarita pizza looks like. I am totally fine with new servers messing up or honest mistakes, but don't just wait for me to notice or blame it on the customer. That's just bad customer service. Overall, pizza can be good, but is usually not worth the service when you could easily grab a burger, chipotle or stop at T Anthony's.

This was truly a fantastic meal. The pizzas are scrumptious and fresh, with nice open-air seating. The selection of beverages was appreciated, as well, with Pellegrino sodas and other, less common choices. The potato, bacon, and scallion pie, though it might sound like a Pizzeria Uno appetizer, was anything but. Chunks of potatoes stood out, well seasoned, with the crispy bits of bacon and fresh scallion slices. I admit, a drizzle of creme fraiche over the top, just before serving, would have made it even better, but it was so good just by itself. My party had maybe 5 other pizzas off the menu, and we left without any take-out boxes. It was a delicious end to the day.

Thin, crispy crust with just enough chewy bite to it. Oh, and the toppings are pretty good, too. Order by the slice (what they have available) or by the pie. Beer available ... which always adds a star. No offering of pizza sauce for dipping ... reduces the stars. Outdoor seating and handicap accessible bathrooms. Definitely a great spot for a quick bite and for families.

OTTO on commonwealth is pretty OK in my book. Nice seating with a view of beautiful comm ave (glad I'm not on the green line) , pizza, beer. Yup they have pretty much everything you would expect out of a pizza place. Interesting combos that tend to sound way better than they taste. Pricey. and honestly I am not that into the thinner crust. Frankly I'll stick to my cheap NY Pizza (the chain) 9 times outta 10.

Tonight, my family and friends were craving pizza and decided to go to Otto's. For drinks, we got a pitcher of Pumpkin ale and Downeast Cider - Honey Cider. Downeast Cider is one of my favorite local craft breweries but I have never seen the Honey Cider. It was hard apple cider with wildflower honey and it tasted like mead. The pizza is thin and the crust is thin too. They offer unique topping combinations. We got a large tomato based Pepperoni, Vidalia Onions and Roasted Garlic. It had great flavor. The pepperoni were kind of spicy. The Vidalia onions were cooked through baking. The roasted garlic was just right. We also ordered a small olive oil based Roasted Chicken, Caramelized Pears, and Fontina Cheese. The chicken was kind of dry. I felt that the caramelized pear could be softer! Otto's is one of the best pizza places I've ever been to. They also offer gluten free options!

This place is awesome! I love how they have such a unique twist on pizza toppings. Like how they put scallions, bacon and MASHED POTATOES on one of their pizzas? It's just so great. The set up is pretty decent, you walk up and can either order a whole pizza, which you have to wait a while for, or you can order a slice, which they grab off this shelf and toss into the oven for you right away. Then you pay (usually around $4 for a slice) and pick up the pizza right beside the cash register. The whole vibe of the restaurant is really great too. It's very chill and natural feeling. The ambience at night is super cute. Warm lights, warm smells coming from the oven? Yeah, I dig it. And the pizza itself is great, but I almost wish the cheese was a little stretchier. Like when you bite into the pizza it just breaks off and doesn't do that melty goodness stretch, which I'm a big fan of. Other than that, I totally recommend this place! I've been here multiple times and will continue going back :)

you have to pay 3 dollars some change for cheese and is thin and small not worth it also their can a soda is like over 2 dollars you could get it in cvs for a dollar I would not reccomend for the price you pay

Easy, fast, delicious pizza place if you're looking for something different from a regular pizzeria. Slices are thin, crispy and relatively big. It's not greasy like a traditional pizza so well worth the $3 or $3.50. I keep coming back because they change the toppings so you can try something new! I love tomato sauce so I've never had the butternut squash, pesto or white sauce pizzas, but I heard they are really good. They have a mashed potato pizza which is really interesting and heavy, but worth every bite. The traditional cheese pizzas are good too and they have toppings like oregano, red pepper flakes and parmesan on the tables. I think the best part about this place is that you can also get beer, wine or pitchers with your pizza. They have a mini bar and outdoor seating so you can enjoy a nice refreshing beer with your pizza outside. Nice atmosphere, cool/friendly people and good food

Be careful with Otto's. I'm not one who usually gets at all concerned about service. But the experience I had here was something noteworthy which leaves a bad taste in my mouth, which I need to share with Yelpers so you all don't have the same experience. We ordered 4 pizzas, yet only 3 were delivered. We called to ask for the 4th, and they said there was nothing they could do. We then asked if they could just refund it since they forgot it, to which they refused. They even admitted that the pizza was sitting right there, and they just forgot to give it to the delivery guy. I got in contact with the manager (as of course, charging us 4 pizzas but only providing 3, and not offering to refund the 4th is literally stealing from us). After some emails and back-and-forth, we were able to get a refund for the 4th pizza. So the pizzas we got were fine, but never, ever get this delivered via Ottos or any of those online delivery websites. It took a huge amount of time and effort to just get refunded for one item which they forgot.

Good pizza the selection of different combinations is what makes this place. And the fact that you can add alcoholic beverages to the order.

Mashed potatoes flavor pizza is a bit oily, and another one with red pepper and garlic is too heavy. I like the old fashioned pepperoni.

I was fully prepared to write a terrible review because the delivery took two hours on a wednesday, however I am unable. HOLY CRAP. I eat a lot of pizza and I mean A LOT of pizza. but this pizza. this pizza, has been my favorite pizza so far. like ever. wow. thanks guys. love you

Delicious pizza! Awesome toppings and the crust is perfectly crispy. I got the roasted peppers, garlic, tomato, etc pizza and it was really good. Also got the spicy pulled pork pizza. It has a good kick to it. This location is more laid back with the benches. The Coolidge Corner location has small tables which make it more of a date night meal. They sell pitchers of beer here for $13 to $21.

Pizza shows up two hours late, I hear the delivery guy knock on my neighbor's door first and then he knocks on mine (apparently can't tell the difference in apartment numbers) and starts blaming me for it being late. He says he was downstairs for 20 minutes (he wasn't) and that he had been calling me (he hadn't). I'm sure the pizza would have been all right if it wasn't cold.

Actually some of the best pizza I have ever had, which says a lot being from Chicago!

Their margherita pizza is to die for. The slices are pretty big, so keep that in mind when buying. They're also fairly prompt when delivering, which is nice when you're extremely hungry and extremely tired. Overall, I definitely recommend it.

These prices are a sick joke. $8 for a pre-made spinach salad with nothing in it except cucumbers and red pepper? The salad was good, yes, but considering there was only spinach, cucumbers and red pepper in it, I didn't expect to shell out that much dough. I expect to pay these prices when service is paired with the food. To be this pricey when it isn't even served to me is not worth it. I have to get the food myself and the prices are still more than I would get charged at a restaurant. This is crazy. My husband and I spent $16 and change on two slices of pizza and a side salad - no drinks. That was the last of that. The slices were normal sized slices, so it is not even like I can say "but the slices were huge!." Beer is over $7 a pint. Now for an actual review of the food - Pizza - I mean... better than your average "(MA Town name) House of Pizza." I think the crust lacks flavor but I am also from NY so I am already picky about pizza. This is the better of the chains. .... still, absolutely not work $3+ a slice.

This is my first order from Otto, and a friend and I were desperately craving thin crust. I remembered someone telling me that this place had REALLY thin crust, but still a lot of flavor and some innovative toppings. Damn, I'm glad I listened! We got the large cheese pizza, which really is exactly what you want from thin crust. The sauce is bright and delicious, the cheese is that perfectly molten-thin layer over thin crust that gets crisper away from the tip. Yum. next up were a pair of small pizzas to try out the toppings. The Vidalia onion, bacon, and apple pizza is VERY good. There's a nice tart note, and the bacon is crumbled in these lovely, perfectly crispy piles. I love how you get enough of each topping without being left wanting, but they're also no overloading the pie just to prove a point. I really appreciate this school of pizza-making. More, my friend who is really into white pizzas basically claimed it and took it away, making happy noises. That's OK though, because the the small pepperoni is the best. I always like to try the pepperoni as a kind of benchmark for a pizza joint, because it tells you a lot about where they're coming from. Is it just a field of layered slices? VERY spicy? Too mild? In this case it's the dream you only get at a few other places like Oggi... perfect even coverage. Most of all, it's really good pepperoni, with a good flavorful kick and a distinct lack of the overwhelming grease you get from the cheap stuff. My friend ordered a salad, but she never even pretended to try it. It looks good though, and I'm sure if she didn't eat almost a whole small pizza by herself, she would have tried it.

I tried the sausage, broccoli raab and red pepper pizza. It was delicious. The crust is very thin and light. Friends had the mango and pork pizza which was delicious as well.

Sigh. I mean, as a Chicago pizza snob, all of my non-Chicago pizza reviews have to start with a sigh. So hey, there's not enough cheese and the slice lends itself to the perversion of folding it over to eat it. Furthermore, the wine is kinda crappy. That said, the pizza tastes pretty good and they HAVE wine even if the employees aren't always old enough to pour it for you. :-) I can't knock a place just because their style of their food doesn't meet my personal taste. As far as the pizza goes, the crust is pretty impressive, light and crispy. Yes, my Chicago sensibilities wonder where the cheese is but, in general the flavors work pretty well. The squash and potato and bacon offerings are pretty creative and tasty. If you're hankerin' for some pizza by the slice and have a bit of time, I'd say wait until you see a pizza come fresh out of the oven, it turns out much better. For the price, for the taste, for the convenience and for the presence of alcohol; I'll be back. Not bad.

I live in MA, but am at Bu for year two of a three year class. Am staying at the BU dorms across the street from Otto. Pizza is unique and good (not your "typical" pizza but heated up on the spot by slice or made fresh if you get a whole pizza). Limited beer selection, but all is craft beer and good. Rose is the best! Her sweet demeanor and personality alone are worth coming back for!

Pizza was delivered warmish, not hot. And the top was soggy and bottom was burnt black. Got a pepperoni pizza with sausage, not happy. Pizza tasted like ash from the burnt black bottom. Will never order from here again with many better pizza joints in the area. Ate half a piece and threw the rest out. Would have called but they were closing at that time.

It was 3am on a Saturday night when we decided to give Otto a call for delivery to our hotel. They were nice enough to go ahead and take our order. We ordered the bacon, mushroom, and onions and the mashed potato, bacon and scallions. The delivery was fast! We weren't a fan of the mashed potato pizza, but the bacon, mushroom, and onions is AMAZING!

Good pizza joint. What I ordered: Two slices - mushroom, ricotta and bacon, chive, mash potato. Glass of yuengling. The good: Thin crust delicious pizza. Great variety and creative options. The bad: The pepperoni was a little oily on my friends pizza. Limited beer selection. Overall: great pizza. Can get crowded but would definitely recommend eating here or taking out.

Probably one of the best pizza places in Allston. OTTO has a variety of pizzas both non-tomato sauce and tomato sauce based. I love their garlic, peppers and asiago pizza but honestly anything is a good choice.

I went here yesterday with some friends and everything was delicious. We ordered two large pie's, since there were four of us and all were quite hungry. One of the pizzas was bacon, apple and red onion and the other was red pepper, olive, plenty of garlic and some delicious cheese which escapes me right now. They were both light, crispy and full of great flavors and quality ingredients. Everything was devoured quickly along with glasses of wine and craft beers (which they have in pitchers). I've been to Otto before, but never this one. The one in Coolidge Corner Brookline is nice as well and the pizza is just as good. It is a bit smaller and gets crowded easier but that also makes it more vibrant. Can't go wrong either way!

I've come to this place a few times for lunch and have thoroughly enjoyed it. First off, there is no parking lot or reserved parking anywhere. Luckily, there are a slew of on-street spots on this section of Comm and I've never had a problem grabbing a metered space during the 11:30-2:30pm time frame. I can't vouch for evening availability, but lunch rush, you're good! The actual lunch options are great-- just as long as you're looking for slices of pizza. I believe they serve up a salad too, but I wouldn't know. What I do know is you can order slices of pizza from 6-8 different pies, all of which have been delicious (the tortellini and the bacon potato ones have been my faves)! At $3.50 a slice, this place won't break the bank. The slices are generous and well put together in terms of thickness and number of toppings. During the lunch rush, there hasn't been much of a rush at all. Ample seating means you don't have to wander around trying to find somewhere to eat. Bonus points: Although I haven't had any during my lunch visits, this place serves beer. Delicious delicious beer! Extra bonus: They take LevelUp!

I think this place might be the worst pizza I've had in Boston. I don't know why so many people think so highly of it. I only give it more than one star because the actual restaurant is cool inside.

Don't eat at this location unless you're a drunken college student looking for a $4 slice of dried out cardboard. Awful food. Even worse service.

Definitely a special pizza place that has some interesting combinations. The spicy pulled pork pizza was amazing. They also serve beer here which is awesome. Their basil chicken pizza was also great, definitely a place to try if you are a fan of pizzas.

Wow, there is something seriously wrong with this location. They are either way understaffed or do not have very competent employees. I understand that my last visit was on a busy Saturday night, but it was a bit absurd. I actually like Otto pizza. I am a big fan of the Coolidge Corner location. They serve the exact same menu and are able to manage a restaurant that is typically busier. The pizza has a thin, crispy crust, with a little sweetness. This location didn't really seem to have table service. Instead, people were ordering from the register and taking their own plates and utensils to their table. This CAN work, but not when the girl behind the counter is too frazzled or not on her game. The line moved painfully slow, she had no idea how long the wait time would be to receive food, and she failed to give us plates, utensils, a table number, or a receipt! When we asked for a number, she said that she ran out and that she would remember who we were. Uh.... I saw maybe about three table numbers that were being used. Even more surprising was that they had no slices that night (only $20 pies). Nevertheless, we shook all of this off. We still wanted the pizza and we patiently sat at a table for our food. The first pie took about half an hour. It took a few more minutes for plates. Water, napkins, and utensils never came despite being asked. Perhaps that was self serve, but the food runner never informed us. When the other members of our party were starving 15 min later, they went to check at the register. There were 5 other pies just sitting there. Straight to their faces, they were told that it had just come out of the oven. It was cold. Looking around, it was a very disorganized restaurant. None of the tables got cleared. Again, I did not see any self service trash and dish bins for patrons to bus their own plates. I expect more from a pizza parlor that is among the cities most expensive. Go to a different location.

I love Otto's. Great pizza. I prefer the location on Harvard Street in Brookline, but this one is great, too. Plenty of room, big kitchen. Try the butternut squash pizza. You won't be disappointed.

  • Jess M.

Otto's pizza is pretty amazing. It just is. What's not so amazing is how crowded they can get- the itty bitty Harvard Sq. one tends to be slammed at lunchtime and whenever I've tried to eat at the Brookline one it's a 30 minute + wait. Enter Otto BU area. Since there are like a million random and chain restaurants along Comm. Ave all competing for student $ it's a lot less crowded. In fact, every time I have been it's been empty. Score. Since I'm the kinda person that would rather go to dinner with the elderly at 5:00pm on a Saturday (or Tuesday) an empty restaurant works just fine for me. If you prefer a little more people around, go to the Brookline Ottos. Oh BTW, this Ottos and the Brookline one delivers.

Had a piece of pizza at the Harvard Square storefront . Jammed? You bet. But the pizza rocked... Thin crust, fresh toppings, interesting combinations. It's a great find in a place that sells pizza by the slice.

Greatest Pizza in Boston! I've lived in New Haven, and Italy, you'll love their pizza. They have some different toppings that will guarantee you'll be craving more. My girlfriend and I always go to Otto's. When The upper crust caved in, this was our default backup. They have great pizza, our favorites include Pulled Pork, or Ricotta, Squash and Cranberries, you can't go wrong!

I love this place. Nothing else really like it in Boston. Great fresh pizza, lots of veggie options, gluten-free crust, creative menu, what more could you ask for? Definitely not your standard greasy pizza. Open more locations! Southie could use an Otto!

I don't get everyone's obsession with this pizza. It's soggy, gets cold very quick, and has an unbeatably hard crust. The cheese and tomato sauce is spotty at best and it's mad expensive. #LocalProTip There's a pizza place around the corner that is much better.

Friendly staff and quick service. I got the 4 cheese pizza (white) and it had great flavor but the ricotta cheese was in huge clumps--maybe a bit smaller and more of them. Friends loved their pizzas, but I can't remember the names of them. They also got salads but they were difficult to eat because of how tall they are. Very pretty though. My friend got the pumpkin ale which he said could have been a bit colder and I got the pumpkin sangria which was delicious but could have had more cinnamon in the drink.

Its been 2 hours and 45 mins and we are all starving still waiting on the pizza. I can understand a little extra time due to the weather but this is just ridiculous. I believe this will be the last time I order from here which is a shame since they make good pizza. EDIT: We ended up getting the pizza 3.5 hours after ordered. It was good and the driver was very apologetic but still took way too long. Added one star for that.

Do yourself a favor and order the butternut squash pizza. Like, every single day. Some friends were in town so I took them here one Saturday afternoon to relax and eat some great pizza. The service was a little slow, but not unbearably. After we'd been waiting for our pizza for ~15 min, a chef came up and apologized profusely for the wait and offered us slices on the house. I thought that was really cordial and a good way to run a business. Seems like a very self-aware staff. Also, they have basil plants on the tables so you can inhale the beautiful scents of fresh herbs as you eat. Love it here, so glad this chain has made its way to Boston!

From a gal who doesn't even LIKE pizza, this place is the bomb. I love their non-tomato sauced pizzas - everything from cauliflower to pesto to cranberry and butternut squash. The pay-by-the-slice model and wide array of choices make this great for: - picky eaters - people who want to be healthier - people who want to gorge themselves on pizza - vegetarians - carnivores - dates, where you can easily pay together/ separate/ treat your date without it costing an arm and a leg - people on budgets - lunch - dinner - snacks - times when you're not even hungry but you just can't resist This location has awesome seating options and a good charm overall.

Quick and easy pizza. Some strange combinations but in general they usually taste really good. This location has a nice open seating area along with a small patio outside. Great for groups and kids! Prices are average but the quality is supreme. Over all a great eat!

Free slice of cheese pizza with beer or wine from 5-9!!! The cheese pizza was actually really good. Thin, crispy and light which went great with an Oktoberfest beer. I came another time before and had an artichoke and bacon pizza, which was very dry and not very flavorful. My boyfriend got a small pie and it was really soggy and not cooked fully so the cheese kept falling off the pizza. I would recommend the cheese or margherita pizza slices - they're really crispy and thin which I love. Otherwise, not really worth it.

It was pretty darn good. Not as awesome as the CC spot though in my opinion - my thoughts mostly echo others' reviews. I went here as an 'accident' after ordering takeout on Foodler and not checking the address (I live 2 min walk from CC location) but made the drive after realizing my mistake (I felt the CC employees were internally laughing a tiny bit when I came there (or probably should have been), but were def. helpful in figuring out my issue). Compared to CC, the pizza seemed a tiny bit less greasy (and with a tiny bit less taste -- less olive oil?) - for me this was maybe a small plus, just because I'm getting a little fat. 2/3 of the employees didn't seem like they knew what the heck they were doing; maybe it was their first pickup Foodler order. I waited for a minute or two while the guy who got my pizza fumbled with the screen with his manager trying to figure out whether to charge me or not (I had already paid on Foodler). Given the neighborhood and employees' age (most likely newer hires, it seemed) I can't really complain though - everyone was nice, customer service was good. I enjoyed the pizza, next time I'll likely order delivery though. @ Ownership - as someone who has grown up around the area I'm a little worried about choice of location (unless maybe you're targeting the lunchtime / nearby residential crowd). It was Saturday evening and I think I was the only customer in the place. When I was a college kid my factors in obtaining food were (guesstimating) ~ 1/2 price, 3/8 quality(/taste), and 1/8 distance (though all of these are important). FYI the Harvard/Comm ave McDonald's packs a line almost out the door during late night.

My husband and I ordered two pizzas for delivery this evening during the Patriots game. I was told by the girl who took my order that it would be 35 minutes, however it was delivered in well over an hour. We didn't mind because we were watching the spectacular game and weren't incredibly hungry. I just received a call from the same girl who took my order that Otto's was comping my order since it took much longer than expected. I am totally surprised and grateful for Otto's thoughtfulness and awesome customer service. The pizza was delicious as usual and this time it was free!

Otto Pizza was my first meal in Boston. It was a very good first meal. We walked in to an empty shop around 4PM and the employees were very friendly and eager to tell us the flavors of the day. They also gave some awesome suggestions. I went with a classic margherita pizza and my friend got the chicken and pear pizza. We both loved our pizza and were really happy with it! The only bad thing is that they reheat the pizza which makes it not fresh which is upsetting. I would love to order a full pie and eat it fresh. Overall, really awesome pizza and great staff!

People of Otto, When you first opened in Coolidge Corner, I loved your pizza. When you opened on Comm, I was happy that there was a second location equidistant from my house. That was months ago and now I'm not so happy with either location. The reason can be summed up in two words: Black Pepper. I don't know what changed in your pizza making parameters, but the last two pizzas we've ordered were sprinkled with an overwhelming amount of black pepper. This is a problem and a deal-breaker for two reasons: Firstly, pizza should be about the main ingredients - fresh dough, high quality cheese, maybe some tomato. Toppings, if there are any, should be given room to let their own flavors shine. This evening, our mushrooms were covered with so much pepper, we could barely taste them. After a few bites, the pepper smack was so strong that we ended up tossing the whole pie and eating cereal for dinner instead. No fun at all! Secondly, at most restaurants, pepper is often left in shakers on the table or offered freshly ground after the food is served. This is a courtesy, as most understand that pepper is an optional seasoning and a matter of preference. Some people love it, some hate it. I tolerate it in moderate amounts, but not ever on pizza unless it's my own choice to make. I hope you'll take this review to heart and, at the very least, start a discussion about your use of seasoning. I also hope you'll eventually reform your brutish ways with pepper. Until then, I'll be making my own pizza at home.

The pizza was good but there weren't as many choices for tomato based sauce pizzas as I was expecting. The staff was excellent. The chicken pear white pizza didn't have much flavor. The drink menu was good and I like the ambiance inside.

I've been wanting to try Otto since it opened in Coolidge Corner and Rachel C raved about it. My friends and I ordered delivery on Friday, but I guess only the BU (Comm Ave) location delivers. So I still haven't tried the Coolidge Corner location! I spoke to someone on the phone who gave me advice on which pizzas to get and how many salads. He was very friendly and very helpful! We ended up getting 2 large pizzas (Sausage and Vidalia Onion and a Butternut Squash, Ricotta and Cranberry) and 2 salads (House with Red Wine Vinaigrette and the Crunchy Green, with Green Apple, Cabbage and Green Goddess Dressing). I tried the House salad, which was decent, but didn't get to try the Crunchy Green. My friend told me it was "AWESOME!" The salads are small - they are definitely "personal" sized, although 2 of us split 1, because I didn't have a ton of salad. As for the pizzas - they are AMAZING. The Butternut Squash was definitely the group favorite. I had 2 pieces and could have eaten the entire thing. It wasn't too heavy, but was super flavorful. The Sausage & Vidalia Onion was messier and greasier, but was very good as well. I had 2 pieces the next day for lunch and it was good, but just not AS flavorful as the Butternut Squash. I would try it again, but would maybe get another meat one over this one. But I would DEF get the Butternut Squash again. Btw - these pieces are HUGE. I had 2 Friday night and then a 3rd later in the evening and was SO.FULL. For 2 large pizzas and 2 salads, it came out to $62 with tip (free delivery though!). That's pricey, but not when you break it down by person and consider 3 of us went home with leftovers. Also, $21 for a large, fantastic pizza? Not too shabby!

Hello I'm amateur street eating legend King Eat, and today I'll be reviewing OTTO!!!! Otto is nice. Walk in, order a pizza and a drink (they serve beer), go have a seat and wait for your number to be called. They got some interesting pizza's you don't see too often (three cheese tortellini), or ever (pulled pork and mango) and of the ones I've had they're all surprisingly light pizza's. No heavy bloated feeling after eating. I've tried: Three Cheese Tortellini Sausage and Vidalia Onion Ricotta and Basil Mashed Potato with bacon and scallion Butternut squash with ricotta and cranberry All of em good. Slices are $3.50 with topping, or $3 for a slice of cheese. "See that bridge, Huh? 1200 bucks, on the house man! Otto man! Otto's my lotto!" - Chuck

We ordered the Margherita pizza pie and the Butternut squash-crandberry-ricotta pizza! I only tried the butternut pizza and it was good! It tasted like a thin piece of bread with splotches of sweet (from the butternut) and savory (from the ricotta cheese). My only recommendation is that once you order the pizza eat it RIGHT AWAY when it its warm. I know it's kind of a obvious suggestion but I ordered the pies for takeout and then had to bring them to the other end of Boston (20 min). By the time i arrived at my destination the pizza was really HARD, FIRM, and like brick. It was hard to eat, but we were so hungry and there was no microwave or oven available. Regardless, the pizza was still tasty, so i can only imagine HOW delicious it would be HOT and WARM! I will come back again!

What a terrible pizza delivery experience. I had stopped into the Coolidge Corner store several times and enjoyed the pizza there. We were having friends over for dinner several nights ago and decided to order pizza. Since the Coolidge Corner store doesn't deliver I contacted the BU store which does, placed my order for 2 salads and 3 pizzas and was expecting another nice experience. Unfortunately not to be!! The pizzas arrived cold and tasteless and the salads did not include appropriate dressings. But at least the order arrived on time:-). Later that evening when I called the store to express my disappointment, I was told "we will take it up with my superior". That was 3 days ago and I haven't heard back. Strongly recommend staying away from Otto's for delivery. Good luck with eating in - it just may be that quality varies on a store-by-store basis.

Loved the pizza. Some of best I have had

I must say that their pizza is pretty delish. I got the mashed potato pizza and traditional cheese. The crust and dough is a perfect crispness. The one thing I didn't know the first time ordering is the cheese is there isn't enough sauce. It's way too much cheese, but if you prefer that, this place maybe for you.

Stopped in hoping to grab a quick slice with family after attending BU graduation; line was out the door with "hangry" grads. We were famished and really didn't care what we ate, anything would suffice and taste great. We ordered a cheese and pepperoni pie. To my surprise the pizza was really good. Like most, I'm extremely particular about my pizza. Otto faired well, and fellow yelpers gave good reviews. The crust was thin, crispy, and had perfect chew. The cheese was not excessive or overwhelming; no cheese or roni grease dripping down my chin or shirt - hate when that happens. Definitely will return, and also give Harvard Square location a try.

I don't get the excitement? I tried this place out a while back and got the pizza standards: Cheese, pepperoni. IF you can't get that right, I am not willing to take the pizza relationship much further. It was meh at best. At that time, the service was weak, and the prices were poorly matched to the quality. I decided to give them another go when I was working a long day and wanted cheese. I got the four cheese white pizza to go. I called ahead and showed up when they told me to. I stood around for ten minutes while they worked on the pizza that the guy had the balls to tell me was "cooling off" when I walked in. Sure buddy, too bad I can SEE there is no pizza waiting for me. Then it was mediocre again. A nice cheesy blend. Not filling at all. The crust was weak, too. Booooo. If we're gonna rave about Portland pizza joints: Flatbread is where it's at. Unfortunately, they are not as ubiquitous as this joint has become. Thumbs down, I'd rather go hungry than waste my dollars here again.

We ordered a pizza at 7:50, was told it would arrive by 8:40. We called the restaurant at nine asking where our pizza was, and they said it would be there in fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes later, still no pizza. When it finally got to us (50 minutes late) the pizza was cold. They barely put enough sauce on the pizza, and barely put any sausage on the pizza -- which cost two dollars just to put on one half. Not worth it.

I stumbled upon this place while visiting the campus, and based upon other reviews of the pizza alone, I'd say it pretty much lives up to the hype. The Mashed Potato, Bacon, & Scallion pizza was awesome and the Baby Spinach, Chicken, & Asiago was killer too. But as for the service, I'd say it definitely needs a little bit more time in the oven. I give this place three stars because they were rather disorganized on the front end of things and the girl working the counter seemed annoyed at the sheer fact that people were coming in while she was working. I also wanted to order a beer with my slices (which you have to do at a separate counter) and after standing there for several minutes, I had to again ask if someone was going to help me. Unfortunately her skinny jeans must have been a bit too tight that day because she responded, "I can't because I am underage" then went right back to trying to perfect her pouty hipster look. I would likely give this place another try because I really liked the pizza and the decor was just my style -- but hopefully by then the staff will have stopped taking themselves so seriously.

My group went here on a whim-- Otto verses Chipotle just down the street. Pizza won out, and I'm glad it did. Otto offers large slices of pizza off the shelf from ready pizzas. The ready pizzas are a good variety, the specialties they offer as well as more traditionally topped ones. They also offered the option to order a pizza with whatever toppings you want. The pizza itself was amazing. The crust was very thin and very traditionally made, you could just tell it was made from scratch and had never been frozen. The tomato sauce was very fresh and smooth, no chunks with good seasoning. It was a little oily, but easily patted off. Overall it was great. Good ambience, seems like it would be good for all kinds of groups. Offered beer and wine as well as a broad selection of nonalcoholic beverages. Went in on a whim, was vastly pleased.

I stop in here if I get out of work early enough and the line of drunkards is not out the door. Tonight, I got the tortellini and the pork mango... Hot damn were they GREAT! The girl behind the the counter was nice, but Anthony was one of the nicest, most personable guys. I will definitely be back again!

This place has some of the best Pizza in Boston! The pizza is awesome! You can create your own pie or choose buy by the slice with their already made pizzas! Their best selling slice is mashed potatoes, bacon, and scallops! Yum! I had the pulled pork with mango pizza and it was orgasmic! Additionally, you have the option to eat outside or inside, just a fabulous place to go!

I think Boston needs more quality pizza and Otto is part of the solution, not the problem. We had the bacon, mash potatoes and chives pizza and it was amazing. Service was great too. So far the best pizza in Boston, but I have yet to try Penguin or Zaza's.

  • George G.

There's no problem with the pizza here -- even at $3.50 per slice with toppings, since the combinations are often original and tasty. The staff/service is adequate, and there's even good beer on tap. But. This place has a policy that drives me crazy: If you want to know what sort of slices you're looking at, you'll have to listen to a recitation of the main ingredients for six to 10 combinations. Since they're somewhat exotic, you probably won't process all this information, which means you get to go through it all again while delaying everyone in line behind you. Or just screw it and choose one at random, you don't really care about getting what you want anyway, right? Why not some little signs, or even a chalkboard, so I can turn over the decision while I wait in line? The answer, delivered with a telling cringe, is that ownership believes this creates a more personal experience. Ummm... I'm all for concierge treatment when there's actual value in it. But c'mon, Otto, do you really think this shallow exchange passes for making an authentic connection? You're trying to build customer loyalty -- to your benefit -- at the expense of my valuable time, and that's just not cool.

  • Sereia C.

There is currently a chicken/pear/carmalized onion piece of pizza in my hand. It is phenomenal. And even better...it was served by the slice! They always have about 9 different pizza by the slice options...the biggest selection in Boston for those of us who just want to be mildly obese and not nosh down a whole pizza, but want options.

  • Alisa K.

Some of the best pizza in Boston. Huge selection of creative slices and pies. I'd recommend ordering by the slice so you can have more fun. Individual slices are pretty large and filling. Their crust lies somewhere between thin and regular -- leans thin but not so thin that you're still hungry. This location has fun Otto-brand sodas and actually has seating unlike the Harvard Square location. We ordered a medium and large ricotta basil and mushroom cauliflower pizza. The ricotta basil was solid, the cauliflower meh (shoulda known better). We rolled in on a Friday night like 5 minutes before closing (we'd ordered in advance over the phone) and one of the servers (manager maybe?) was kind enough to seat us even though they had already stacked all their chairs on top of their tables. Ten minutes later however, another server had the gall to tell us that they were legally required to vacate the premises at midnight. Um, ok officer, we're not on Law & Order here but fine, I know no one wants to stay past closing on a Friday night. That being said, the pizza was pretty darn good for closing time and I will definitely be going back. Just not on a Friday night at closing time, lest I be arrested by the Otto Pizza Police (OPP).

I was sad to see Upper Crust leave this location. That is, until I tried Otto for the first time. My boyfriend was visiting Boston in June right after this location opened. We decided to check out the new pizza place I had been hearing good things about. Because the weather was still warm, they had all of the big windows open so that the whole restaurant felt outdoors. I'm really looking forward to it getting warm again so they'll open everything back up! This was also before the liquor license. The liquor license changed everything. They have awesome beer! The pizza itself is divine. My personal favorite is the four cheese, but honestly, I am game for any of these intriguing combinations if they have ricotta. The big dollops of ricotta cheese are what I constantly crave. I also like that a good majority of their pizzas are white based, because most pizza places go a little too heavy on the sauce for my taste. That being said, I love their pepperoni, which is a tomato based pie. So far, the only one I didn't love was the mushroom, chicken and fontina pizza. The mushrooms were just a little off in my opinion. Other than that, I love love love Otto and look forward to trying more of the delectable combinations in the future!

Crispy and light crust. Fresh ingredients on pizza. Caesar was freshly made. Pleasant staff. Community-family style tables, so you must like other people, or you may sit at counters at windows. Will try once more before concluding that it is good. Definitely not for families with young kids, or dinner conversation. Kind of loud combo of music and staff noise.

Although I love Otto, I docked stars because of some operational mistakes (disorganization, very inaccurate estimate for the delivery time and room temp pizza). We actually stopped by Otto while walking home but left after being told that there would be a 1 1/2 hour wait due to a back up. The place itself was about half full, but apparently they were overwhelmed with delivery orders. Fine. We walked home (25 minutes) and figured, hey, maybe it'll be faster if we order delivery. So I call and the lady says that the back up is over and that a delivery should arrive in 45 minutes. Great! The phone order itself took about 20 minutes. It took forever to relay the info to her because it was so loud on her end, then the line got dropped, I called back, was put on hold, partially gave my order, put on hold again, etc...I finally finish ordering and ask if they can include some red pepper flakes and parmesan packets. She says yes. Yay. So then we waited...and waited...and waited...1 hour later, I finally get a call. To our disappointment, it was someone asking if we had received our pizza yet. Nope. He says someone will get here shortly. I thought it was great that they checked on us...however, roughly 15 minutes later, our pizza finally arrives. I'm so hungry and relieved that it's finally here, that I'm not actually annoyed about getting our pizza 75 minutes later. We open the pizza and...it's room temperature. Now we have to put it in the oven and wait again. They also forgot the flakes and parmesan. Other than that, the pizza (after a re-heating) was orgasmic. Sausage, vidalia onion and mushroom FTW. God, so good. So please Otto, pleaaase work on these issues. I will still come back to you because you are far better than most of the pizza joints here. But please.

OTTO-great gourmet pizza-Butternut Squash Ricotta and Cranberry Hello my tantalizing Fall Lover-Mashed Potato Bacon and Scallion-Hello Comfort Friend For Life. Brooklinite/New Yorker approved-and friendly bar staff. Try the butternut squash-my fave! Do it to it! I am not a gourmet pizza person per say but I had a Super Fun Night here for a book event about The Art of The Pizza Box. A funny Quirkmeister from Brooklyn wrote a book about...Pizza Boxes. The BK boy graciously admitted that NY is not the only place that has good pizza... He travels the country and tastes pizza and collects over 600 pizza boxes in his tiny apartment...I got to sample free pizza and free good draft and then had to buy a little more and then get a little more free stuff! Got the Margherita to please a visiting guest from the S.W.. I thought maybe it would be a little too plain but it was quite good!! It is the first thing on the list-so that usually says something! The Milky Way in JP, near my neck of the pizza woods, also has good gourmet pizza if that's you're thing, but I say Otto may be more creative... Also, I'll be a little real, there is something about quality gourmet pizza with all it's fresh veg/meat love, that leaves you feeling better often then some big ole' greasy cheese slices. Though the Reg. Slice has a category all of it's wonderful own of course- Seems like a good group place-high ceilings, long wooden tables, cool music but not too loud (at least when I was there). They have options for people with mild gluten allergies. Don't normally go out of my way to dine on Com. Ave, B.U.-Land, but if I was in the area and craving a fancier slice-I'd definitely go!! The company started in Maine. I trust Maine. Thin crust, natural, tasty ingredients I'm looking at the pizza pics-I want some fancy OTTO pizza right now-

This place made me experience pizza like I have never before.I would have never thought that butternut squash craisins pizza could be a good idea but it's my favorite pizza here. The prices are a bit steep but it's definitely worth it.Try to aim for the fresh slices because the ones sitting behind the counter for long doesn't taste as good. They also serve beer which is an added advantage.

Top notch pizza. I really liked their Harvard Square location as well. Same quality at this one. My favorites are the mashed potato pizza and the butternut squash, ricotta cheese and cranberry pizza is my favorite. It tastes like Thanksgiving!

Fantastic ricotta, tomato, and basil pizza that sails out of the brick oven and into your yawning mouth-hole. Add a couple glasses of vino and you're set for a trip to Happy Taste Land, where everything is wonderful and right with the world.

Pizza like no other in Boston. Fresh, quality ingredients. Always cooked perfectly. You can count on awesome pizza time after time (and, trust me, I've gotten a lot of their pizza) and they're really inexpensive compared to other pizza places - definitely an amazing value for the money, which is surprising considering how good it is. They are friendly and delivery is super fast. I'm hooked.

Came here twice in the last few months, both times before concerts at BU. The first time, we were pretty much the only people in the place which got me a little worried. A pizza place near BU that is empty before a big concert right across the street!?!? The slices came out quick, were nice and crispy, and were absolutely delicious. I guess people hadn't really heard about this place yet, but it was their loss! The second time we came, the place was packed. Had to wait about 10 minutes just to find a table. We ordered the ricotta and basil pie and sat down to wait. The manager brought our pizza over after about 15 minutes and explained that part of the crust had gotten burnt because it was touching the wall of the oven while it was cooking. He cut it off and said that they were making another one for us free of charge and to let him know if there was anything else we needed. We were a little surprised that they would make us a completely new pizza because there really wasn't a lot of crust cut off, but hey! Free pizza! All in all, good experiences both times and I will definitely be going back before future concerts!

This pizza is awesome. The crust is crisp, the toppings are different but still very good. I got the spicy pulled pork and scallion which has become one of my favorite pizzas ever. A little spicy but great flavor. Awesome cold the next day. We also got the eggplant and ricotta to share and the eggplant was soft, tender and flavorful. Eggplant on pizza can always be hit or miss, but they nail it here. A little pricier than your average House of Pizza but way better quality, so I personally think it is worth it. They serve beer and wine and the selection won't blow you out of the water but is decent enough. Staff couldn't really answer any questions about any of the alcohol which is a pet peeve of mine. They only have maybe 5-6 beers, not hard to know a little about them. But I would go back in a heartbeat.

Otto Pizza BLOWS Upper crust out of the Universe! The best pizza in Boston since I have been here. My boyfriend raved about this place for a week. I decided to try it last night and had the spinach, chicken, asiago pizza. It was soooooo goood! If you want a heavy/thick crust like a Sicillian pizza, you will not like it. I am from New Haven, CT and the pizzas were amazing between Sallys, Pepes, and Modern, so this is my new pizza place.. It is more expensive then Dominoes, or your local pizza, but Otto's has amazing menu which is not your typical pizzas, and tastes really, really good. Had a bite of my boyfriend's peperoni, and that was insane! Try it!

This Boston outpost of the Portland staple boasts huge ceilings. Greeted by the friendly staff and was skeptical of the slices sitting around (more so than usual) and went with the butternut squash/ricotta/cranberry slice (unorthodox on LDW), which I really enjoyed. The co-diner enjoyed the mashed potato/bacon slice and we only had to drop $3.50 for the pair after the BOGO Google Offer (the Coolidge location didn't accept it).

Lately, I've said, repeatedly, that I don't like pizza. Everyone seems to make it, but not many do it well. Otto restored my love for pizza. I've gone to to the Harvard Sqaure location and had pizza that I like, but this location has it going on! The pizza was so good. It was thin and crunchy and had so much flavor. Whenever I order pizza, I automatically put salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes on my table. I took one bite of the mushroom ricotta and it was almost perfect already. I just added red pepper flakes (for the kick) and black pepper (I still haven't discovered what it means to have too much black pepper). Whenever I'm in the mood for a good slice of pizza, I'll come here. They make simplicity taste quite delicious because they use quality ingredients.

I am addicted to their pizza - I just can't help myself! I've dined in and gotten whole pizzas to go - either way this place creates my favorite pizza in Boston. I like to stay and enjoy my meal if possible though since I think the interior looks cool and I enjoy the area. So far I'm a big fan of the butternut squash, ricotta, and cranberry pizza - which is very fall appropriate - but I'd like to try them all. Sigh. Someday.

Some fun combinations ... Butternut squash/ ricotta/ cranberry . Used to be the upper crust. Outdoor seating, good for when you have the digs with you. Friendly servers w/ patience. Nice that you can buy it by the slice unlike many places in Boston.

  • Lindsey H.

Ok I still like this place but the pizza is cold! Always need them to heat it up extra. I've been back a few times since my first visit, and had a few meh slices. Not moving them up to 5 stars, but still a solid 4.

  • Kyle S.

The management emailed me back a few hours after I posted my review apologizing for the incidents, but did not address the 2nd visit where there was just a lack of product to sell. Addressing the 3rd visit, he stated that management was changing at the location but their was no excuse for not having someone trained to check ids and sell alcohol. I'll probably still visit other Otto locations, but I'll probably give it some time so they can get their act together first before I return to the Comm. Ave spot. I'll bump them up to 2 stars.

Moved into the neighborhood, saw good reviews on yelp. Tried going in - had a 30 min wait. Next time - ordered a pickup. This was the most burnt pizza I ever saw. They tried to conceal it by scraping it off, but it did not help the taste. $26 later - still hungry, but not going back.

I'm all about Otto. All of its locations, whether you're in Boston or Maine, are wonderful and this new spot is no exception. They serve up great versions of classic favorites, but try out their unique creations that most likely combine all of your favorite ingredients in ways you never imagined. Once they get their liquor license, I think this new location will become livelier and more crowded, but for now it's not too busy and always has seating. Check it out!

After spending the day in Boston, we wanted a late dinner and based on the reviews we thought we would give this pizza joint a try. The pizza was phenomenal, crispy, not chewy, and the sauce they use is wicked. Being from NY where we have some of the best pizza, this ranks right up there! We would definitely order again next time were in town.

The boyfriend and I have been to Otto twice in the last month and will probably be back in the near future. The atmosphere is great, the staff is quick and friendly, and the pizza is divine. Both times I have gotten the tortellini pizza-- pasta on a pizza, an Italian girl's dream. The cheese is perfectly melted, the crust is crisp but still soft inside, and the red sauce has just the right amount of sweetness. The boyfriend has gotten the pizza that has bacon and apples on it, which he enjoyed. Yesterday he got the brunch pizza, which is fried egg, bacon, spinach, and tomatoes on pizza. I thought I'd lost him after the first bite. My only complaint is that they don't have cider. If they did, Otto would be absolutely perfect instead of almost perfect.

I learned to love Otto Pizza from my local spots in Portland, ME and now it is great to have one close for when I visit my sister in Brookline. Otto is the kind of place that is always worth going out of your way, traveling a little further, just to get there. The availability of singles slices makes this a great place if you are on the run but the atmosphere is even better if you've got the time to sit and enjoy a full pizza. There is little chance you wont be salivating before you make it half way down the menu with the tasty and original combinations they've come up with: Mashed Potato, Bacon and Scallion is amazing but Pulled Pork and Mango made me fall in love with Otto.

  • Timothy H.

The pizza here is top notch! How do you make pizza even better? Oh yeah, you add tortellini as a topping! There are so many different kinds of pizza and they are all great. Salads are fresh and delicious! Go here now!

This review is for takeout. If I were rating just the food, this would be 4-5 stars. I've been to all OTTO locations, and this one just isn't the same as the others (including Harvard's takeout location). I called in on Saturday night, made my order, confirmed it by asking the slightly unkempt-sounding order taker to repeat, and was told to come in 25 minutes. 25 minutes later, the line was all the way to the door with people waiting to order a slice. After waiting in line for about 15 minutes to pickup my takeout order, they hadn't made the salads! They made the salads, and I could see them sitting with the pizzas (both of which I'd already paid for) as the order taker proceeded to serve other people. All in all, my takeout experience which, if it had been seamless, should've taken less than 5 minutes took over half an hour. I love Otto's pizzas, but I won't be back to the BU location.

As a skeptical pizza snob, I walked into Otto Pizza on a Monday afternoon looking to be impressed. I was. The signature pizza, mashed potato with bacon and scallions, is excellent, and their other varieties are equally well-crafted. Good staff. Great spot.

Love love loooove Otto's!!! So happy they're on comm ave now! Delicious pizzas with creative toppings in a fun atmosphere. i actually really enjoy otto's pizza. ive tried the mash potato/bacon pizza, tortellini, and eggplant ricotta. i just feel like sometimes some slices are bigger than others and they dont heat up the pizza as hot as i would want it. i'm sure if i ask them tho they would heat it up longer.

Great Pizza! And the salad was great too. My wife has very high standards for both pizza and salads and she was happy. Check it out. And this location is roomy. The one in Coolidge Corner is always crowded.

Called ahead to get what the slices were available. Very surprised to hear such a variety available single sliced for only $3.50 a slice! Had the mashed potato slice and then the butternut squash slice. Both delicious and left me wanting more! Good sized constant line, but quick to move people along. Only downside, slices to go were not very warm, (and I only work across the street). This place is a happy addition to the lunch rotation!

Pizza was really good, the only reason I'm giving this review 4 stars is because while the restaurant has big lettering up saying that they have beer and wine, they had ZERO alcohol when we went in on 29 September. Dunno if they've changed their alcohol situation since then, but overall a good place with friendly staff and great specialty pizzas.

I am from Maine and I LOVE Otto pizza. I'm a second year BU student, and this was my first experience at a non-Maine Otto pizza. I am so disappointed. After waiting 45 minutes for my pizza, I asked one of the cashiers to check on my pizza. The only thing that she checked was her cell phone in her pocket. The staff was generally rude and did not care about helping us. To top it off, the restaurant was EMPTY when we came so it's not like they were busy. Don't come to this Otto location.

Good pizza the selection of different combinations is what makes this place. And the fact that you can add alcoholic beverages to the order.

I think this place might be the worst pizza I've had in Boston. I don't know why so many people think so highly of it. I only give it more than one star because the actual restaurant is cool inside.

The pizza was good but there weren't as many choices for tomato based sauce pizzas as I was expecting. The staff was excellent. The chicken pear white pizza didn't have much flavor. The drink menu was good and I like the ambiance inside.

I think Boston needs more quality pizza and Otto is part of the solution, not the problem. We had the bacon, mash potatoes and chives pizza and it was amazing. Service was great too. So far the best pizza in Boston, but I have yet to try Penguin or Zaza's.

But please.

I'm hooked.

Try it!

Sigh. Someday.

Some fun combinations ... Butternut squash/ ricotta/ cranberry . Used to be the upper crust. Outdoor seating, good for when you have the digs with you. Friendly servers w/ patience. Nice that you can buy it by the slice unlike many places in Boston.

Fantastic ricotta, tomato, and basil pizza that sails out of the brick oven and into your yawning mouth-hole. Add a couple glasses of vino and you're set for a trip to Happy Taste Land, where everything is wonderful and right with the world.

I often get pork mango or anything with ricotta in Portland ... ridiculously good ... now that this new location is nearby I am going to try them ALL! My tummy can't wait to go again!!!

I've had my ups and downs with OTTO, but overall, they've worked to resolve my problems, and they have terrific pizza.

i actually really enjoy otto's pizza. ive tried the mash potato/bacon pizza, tortellini, and eggplant ricotta. i just feel like sometimes some slices are bigger than others and they dont heat up the pizza as hot as i would want it. i'm sure if i ask them tho they would heat it up longer.
