However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

If you are a diabetic, you should also avoid Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich and Whataburger Patty Melt at Whataburger. Chicken Fajita Taco is also off-limits for diabetics. High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. I've been here a couple of times and I've always had good experiences with the people and food. I think I've always came before the lunch crowd so it's never crowded when I go. The people are friendly and the place is nice and clean. I've tried the burger and fries. The burger was pretty decent and not too greasy. The patties and ingredients were all fresh. The parmesan on the fries definitely gave it a good flavor without being too much. I couldn't even finish the fries because the portion was so big. I liked this place and would go again when it's convenient.

Good food, but not good enough for what you're paying. The burgers are tiny, and nothing special. The french fries are the only reasonably sized portion, but you can get better tasting fries at most other burger joints. I ordered the Parmesan fries for an extra dollar, and they were surprisingly tasteless. $10.50 is what it cost me for the most basic single stack burger with cheese and an order of Parmesan fries. I probably won't come back because you can get exceptionally better food at places like UBurger for cheaper

I wanted to try BurgerFi ever since I saw it mentioned on Yahoo's "Top 20 Burgers in the US" article, and I must say that I was not disappointed. The place has a very college-friendly, almost hipstery like atmosphere, which makes sense given its central location on BU campus. That being said, it caters to people young and old, with patrons of all ages occupying tables and barstools alike. The menu is pretty expansive for a burger place--think of it as an alternative to the greasy, artery clogging menu offered at Five Guys. I customized my burger with toppings that are offered at most burger spots and a few that aren't (fried egg and avocado). It was a little expensive, but totally worth it. The burger was cooked perfectly, and although it was a messy eat, I felt very satisfied after. All in all, I highly recommend this place. It's a great spot to meet up with friends for a quick bite, or for a nice sit down meal with a significant other. Give it a try!

Not sure why the yelp reviews are so low, but I'm glad I stumbled in before checking yelp! The burgers are really good here. It's pretty five guys-esque except for the fact that they do bottled and draft beer which is a huge plus ($2.47 Pabst Blue Ribbons). The fries were crispy and delicious; I didn't order any but I ate half my fiancé's order so I feel qualified to speak of them! Another huge plus is that they are literally right next to the Paradise making it super convenient if you are trying to grab a quick bite before a show (Hozier killed it last night in case you were wondering). We had a great experience with Burgerfi, and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

In writing this because I really enjoy the food, atmosphere, and service at burgerfi, with one issue. I usually go into burgerfi between 8:45-9 pm on Friday or Saturday nights, when they close at 11. Every time I'm there around then, they are stacking chairs, rolling up the carpets, mopping the the floor, etc. doing closing procedures when it's no where near closing time. I find it very rude and it makes for a very unpleasant eating experience when you're sitting there with you friends and the staff is dragging metal chairs across the floor, making us feel like we have to rush to finish eating and leave. Burgerfi needs to change their behavior and closing procedures if I'm going to keep going back.

Better than Shake Shack in my book. Actually, I didn't get why the Shake Shacks of New York were known for their long lines, and when the chain finally opened their first spot in Massachusetts, I didn't get why folks started up lining up for that location as well. Then I tried their food, and I still didn't get it. As far as I know, BurgerFi did not have any such hoopla. And I only came here for dinner because the concert I was headed to after was at the Agganis Arena, a short walk east. As evidenced by the decorative T-shirts and conversations around us, we were not the only ones with this bright idea. The line to the registers were of the single line serpentine format, which is fairer and faster, but things were rather slow at the register, so it didn't end up being all that fast. Sometimes none of the registers were actually actively taking orders, although I was not sure what the cashiers were doing at that point. To get the most taste sensation for our buck, two of us shared the following: Breakfast All Day Burger (730 Cal) $6.97 Natural Angus burger, American cheese, hickory bacon drizzled with maple syrup, fried egg, hash browns, grilled diced onions, and ketchup 100% Wagyu Kobe Beef Dog (380 Cal) $5.57 All-natural Wagyu Kobe beef dog served with choice of style or toppings Large Crispy Onion Rings (980 Cal) $5.47 Coffee Mocha Shake (910 Cal) $4.77 Vanilla shake spun with coffee and a splash of chocolate syrup Huge onion rings! Quite eye-catching and impressive looking. I enjoyed them, but thought the actual onion rings themselves a bit thin though cut wide beneath the coating. Speaking of which, one friend felt there was too thick a coating on it, while another noted that oil on hers. Though highly touted by previous guests, it has room for improvement. I snagged a few fries from a third member of our party and found them to be on the soft side - I'd probably would request them "well done" as noted on their so called Secret Menu, published on their website. They were, however, generously portioned for sharing, which was why we were encouraged to help ourselves. The breakfast burger felt utterly sinful in that my DC was glad that she would be working out the next day. The Kobe dog was good but nothing special. I did appreciate that we were given the option of a number of toppings for free as well as a few additional ones for a price, and they were able to honor our request to have them on the side, so that we could each dress our half any way we wished. I loved the diced grilled onions, but my DC didn't care for the enticing sounding garlic aioli, while she consumed the pickle slices. As I caught the staffer decorating the inside of a cup with chocolate syrup in preparation for pouring our shake, she was entirely willing to honor my request for her to split our shake for us. So each half was gussied up with the same attention as the original whole. And yum it was! But so glad we shared, because it was thick and filling, never mind the calories... Allergy Warning: They use 100% peanut oil. 3.5 stars.

BurgerFi, why couldn't you be tasty and delicious? Everything seemed like it was pointing to good, tasty food- your new location looks great, oh, and it's right next to my office, btw... I could sneak in to say hello at lunch. But alas, you are just salty, greasy, not very tasty. Those fries and rings always get me- I think they look so amazing and am instantly disappointed when I take a bite and remember they're not. The fun drink machine gets me excited but then I realize I'd rather just have a diet coke. I do like your veggie burger, it's pretty solid, but I'm sorry- UBurger across the street just owns you there. No, I don't think we can be friends.

I've been here a few times with my family as it's very close to the BU dorms. My first time I ordered the Texas Style Chili Dog and was really disappointed--it was messy, tough to eat, and the dog was not tasty at all. I ended up taking out the meat and just eating the rest. My second time I learned better and built my own burger--a single patty with lettuce and tomato (with no cheese--only $3.97!) The burger was juicy, flavorful, and gone in about 3 minutes. If I ever stop by again I'd get this. The vibe is very cool--bright greens and interesting lightpieces/tabletops make this place fun to hangout. They also have a very fancy touch screen soda/water dispenser so you can quickly refill your own water. Tip: building your own burger can be cheaper than the featured burgers, depending on what you get!

This review is only for their fries and Breakfast All Day burger, along with one time I also got takeout (which I don't recommend). Their regular fries are a great size. I love french fries. I couldn't finish it so I shared it with my friends. I thought it was the perfect consistency between crunchy and soft, and usually like my fries well done but it didn't seem necessary. The Breakfast All Day burger was really good. The only thing I'll say is that the patty is so small and smushed from the "BurgerFi" stamp that it makes the burger seem small. I was definitely full from this burger and the fries, but I don't think I'd be as full from a normal cheeseburger. For so much emphasis on BURGERfi, they really seem to care more about the French fries, shakes, etc than the actual burger. They should be bigger. I really did enjoy the burger, but feel that a lot of their restaurant/food concept copies Shake Shack and doesn't make it that authentic. I also did take out once when the hype was crazy during the school year at BU. I really don't recommend doing take out if you get fries. They serve the food to-go in an open bag, but the fries end up getting soggy. I had gotten the fries well-done, and basically they ended up being WAAAAYY too oily and soggy from a 10 minute walk. Such a waste.

I was hoping for more/better. it's nice that they have a lot of variety and the vegetables were pretty fresh, but the burgers were small and overcooked. I got the top-of-the-line burger, expecting something like a 1/2 pound or 1/3 pound but it was like 2 McD's burgers on fresh toppings.

It combines Five Guy's peanut oil method, Shake Shack's menu of burgers, fries, shakes, beer, wine in a fast food trendy way and Umami's signature name engraved on the bun. It's an okay place for burgers. BurgerFi is my least favorite burger place in Boston. I like Shake Shack, Tasty Burger and UBurger so much more. Overall, the burgers lack a lot of flavor and seasoning. Mine was just beef between buns without much taste. The parmesan fries were alright. The garlic and cheese was literally just sprinkled on top and didn't have it incorporated all throughout. The only good thing is maybe the quinoa patty. I've never tried it, but my friend said it was quite good. I wouldn't want to come back here ever again though... They also have the option of using lettuce instead of leaves (like In-N-Out).

My first burger here was 5 star material. It had the right amount of everything, the cheese was melty and the bun was soft and yielding. I've been back twice since then in search of a repeat event, but so far no dice. The following burgers were 3 star material, so I'm thinking that must be the average and my first burger was a delicious, delicious outlier. I like their fries, very similar to 5 Guys as others wrote. Also I'll spare a word for the ketchup cups which allow a big surface area of ketchup so you can dip long fries in and still get tons of ketchup. Not a big thing but I like it. Also they have those futuristic touchscreen mix-n-match soda machines if that's your thing. The atmosphere is nice and handles the business of the restaurant as well as can be expected for a burger place near BU, with long tables that can seat several parties. I mean, the food is somewhat overpriced, but it's about par for the course among this type of burger restaurant. I don't think they're more expensive than Shake Shack, probably even less. The burger patties are thin, but that's my favorite type of burger so I don't mind, and they're not at all stingy with their fries so I feel like it works out. If you're not willing to pay $10-$15 for a burger, fries and shake, go to Burger King down the road, it's the only place I know that's cheaper, and you pay in quality. I'll be back. I live in Allston and I can confidently say they have the best burger in Allston (not that great of a compliment since they're only really battling Uburger, Tavern in the Square and bars) so whenever I'm cravin' and don't want to take the T anywhere this place will have my money.

Went here with a friend to grab a bite for lunch. I decided to go with the breakfast burger and split a side of fries. The burger itself was cooked pretty well, but the overall flavor of the burger was too rich. The burger was a decent size for the price as well. The fries had an interesting flavor, but I was not the biggest fan and that fact that they lacked any sauces other than ketchup, mustard, and mayo was a bit disappointing as well. Overall, this place has good burgers but I wish they had a little more variety on the menu overall.

Burger good, customer service sucks, the employees lack a personality and at one point a cook ran into me at the soda fountain and did not excuse himself. Besides the zombie staff the food was delightful. The burgers had a great flavor and the onion rings are some the best I have eaten. ******For the owners, replace your zombie employers with employees that actually care about your product line. No matter how good your food is, your employees have zero personalities and will cause your business to fail. Good luck, I highly recommend the food, if you can get over the zombies known as the employees.

It's okay. If your favorite part of the burger is the crispy edges that get caramelized during cooking, you'll probably like it here. They make the patties very loose instead of compressing them, leaving more surface area to caramelize. The service is pretty good and the place is clean, I guess there isn't much more you can ask for. And it's nice that they serve beer, most of the premium fast food burger joints don't. I thought the fries were a little too salty. I wouldn't travel far to come here, but if I was in the neighborhood against and looking for some lunch I would definitely come back.

If you're looking for a cheap burger joint you've found it! Its obvious that BurgerFi is trying to compete with other top burger spots like Shake Shake or Five Guys. Unfortunately they fall a little bit short. The burgers themselves are pretty small and are stamped with the logo which makes them even smaller. The topping options aren't stellar either. For example i love jalapeños on my burger, but unfortunately isn't an option. They also have a BurgerFi secret sauce which basically just tastes like thousand island dressing. One of the best things I love about five guys and Shake Shack is the thickness of the meat. BurgerFi only offers a small patty that appears to have been smashed with a hammer 100 times. However, BurgerFi does excel at a few things. Their french fries are to die for! I love thin crispy fries and thats EXACTLY what they serve! You can also ask for extra crispy or extra mushy if thats more your style. They also have toppings for their fries. I love the cajun spiced fries but the garlic parmesan fries are great too! Finally, the alcohol situation. BurgerFi offers draft beer, bottles and wine. Most of the draft beers are the normal Boston prices, except for PBR which is served on tap for only $2.50! So like i said earlier, if you're looking for cheap burgers, good friends, and lots of beer, this is definitely the place for you!

What is shake shack again? I think this place is way better. They have one of those soda machines where you can have a millions combinations, but the classic "Mexican coke" in a glass bottle is probably the best drink to complement the burgers here. Although many people just get the Breakfast all day burger, which is often hilariously abbreviated on your receipt as the BAD burger, I'd suggest getting anything that has cheese in it. The cheese they use is like the same cheese they put on nachos, not just some old slice of cheese. Speaking of cheese, you should also get the chili cheese fries here. They are pretty messy, but really good. I think this restaurant also has milk shakes called "concretes" similar to shake shack, but I don't come to a burger place for those kind of things.

Solid burgers, delicious fries, good beer prices (PBR $2.47, other drafts $4.50) all with quick service. Came for lunch with my boyfriend while waiting on car repairs across the street. His: veggie burger with good flavor, thick home-style pickles and real cheddar Mine: BurgerFi Cheeseburger really delicious beef with tasty grills marks and aforementioned pickles Ours: large fries were massive, freshly-made and super tasty (seriously massive, we couldn't finish them together))

Meh - I was pretty excited about coming here to eat. Was really hoping for something as good as or better than Shake Shack. Can't say that I was impressed. The burgers were a bit on the small side, and the patty was overcooked even though I asked for medium. To be honest, it tasted a bit like the Burger King whopper. The fries were pretty good - crisp thicker fries. Got the Parmesan Herb topping which was decent, but flavor was still too light for my taste. Ended up putting ketchup on it anyway. If I come back, will probably try the hot dogs and hope for a better experience.

Is this an up-and-coming burger chain for the Northeast? I see they're already big in other parts of the country. This is the first one in Massachusetts, and they are shortly going to open one near me across the street from Vassar College. I'm cautiously optimistic. I do like some of its ideals, such as all-natural beef, and lower carbon footprints. Equally of interest to me is besides standard soda and shakes you can get (craft) beer, wine, and Mexican soda (i.e., with real sugar instead of HFCS). The burgers are pretty good. I find the beefy taste not quite as strong as Uburger, but I feel the choice of toppings compliments the burgers, including the fried egg option. Be aware that when you order a cheeseburger, or even a build-your-own, they start by assuming you want American cheese; be sure to specify if you want other. The regular fries come in a portion large enough for 2 people. They were for me slightly too well cooked, slightly too greasy, and too salty. I wonder if they maybe stayed in the deep fryer slightly too long. I'm willing to order another burger to give the fries another try. One other comment - the font on your menu items behind the counter is unique and a bit more difficult to read. People unfamiliar with your menu items might struggle a bit the first time they visit.

A true Chicago-style hot dog is a treat. Steamed poppy seed bun, neon green relish, tomato slices, a pickle spear, sport peppers, mustard, onion, and celery salt. There's something on the menu here called a Chicago style dog, and it is actually pretty good, but it can't live up to the real thing. Especially disappointing was the thin, flat pickle and the lack of celery salt. On the plus side, the relish was right. I appreciated that they split the hot dog in half and grilled it. A nice touch that added a lot of flavor to this little package. The fries were really good though. I ordered a regular size for about three bucks and got a giant mountain fresh out of the fryer. They quickly hit the fries with salt and served me. Time from fryer to gullet was about 15 seconds. As I ate they cooled off rapidly, but a few mouthfuls of fresh fries is a still a nice treat. Also, there is beer. Not a bad place to go before or after your show at the Paradise for a stomach full of greasy food. I'm sure I'll be back for a burger some time.

So much for fast casual. Why does a regular burger and fries take 30 minutes to make? The restaurant is like 1/3 to capacity and there are at least 6 people in the kitchen so I'm not sure what the problem is. Food is good, place is clean, but the wait alone will keep me away. Also, nothing like a cold bun to top off my burger!

For a cheap tasty burger, this isn't a bad spot. The decor is interesting and there is plenty of seating. I'm not quiet sure it beats out Uburger, and it definitely isn't better than tasty burger. But if you're in the area it's worth a try.

The other day I hit up BurgerFi after seeing Run The Jewels at the neighboring Paradise Rock Club. Upon entering the restaurant, which I felt lucky to find still open at such a late hour, I noticed the place smelled a little weird. I don't know if it's the peanut oil (Five Guys doesn't smell like this though) or the branding of the buns, but it had a burnt odor. The offending smell quickly dissipated, but it was noticeable. After perusing the very lengthy but tiny print menu on the wall, I ordered a couple of burgers and their accoutrements. I got a normal BurgerFi cheeseburger minus tomato, and a build your own with a bunch of crazy stuff on it, a large fry (which they claimed could feed four, and was in fact quite large), and a plastic cup for the fancy Coke machine. I was kind of surprised to find the soda cup to be unbelievably tiny. Yeah, you get unlimited refills. But who wants to get up to refill a cup a bunch of times during the short period of time it usually takes to scarf down a burger or two? This isn't a big issue. But the cup isn't exactly what I'd call inexpensive, so it IS an issue of some shape or size. While the kitchen appeared to be well staffed (especially for late nite) it took FOREVER for our food to make its way out. Despite the many similarities, this is not the well (peanut) oiled machine that one usually finds in the kitchen at Five Guys. That said, when we finally did get our food everything was de-GD-licious. The burgers aren't super huge, but they're doubles, and all the ingredients, from the patties to the cheese to the veggies and on to the condiments, are all good quality and very tasty. The fries came in big brown paper sack that was well-stained with grease and were quite delicious if slightly inconsistent in how they were cooked. And the hot dogs, which I didn't order but a member of my party did, also seemed pleasing enough to their mouth region. All in all, I had no complaints at all regarding the food, even if the service was on the slow-as-hell side. But I'm glad I don't live anywhere near BurgerFi because at the end of the day, they are definitely overpriced and at least I'm not going to be tempted to eat there frequently with 100 miles between us. No matter how many bottles of wine they hang up BurgerFi isn't a gourmet burger bar. They're certainly on the level of Five Guys, Jakes Wayback, or Western Massachusetts' institution White Hut. But that means their burgers should be clocking in around $5 with nothing over $7. Right now there are items on the menu that come in over $10, which is just preposterous. But I guess that's Boston? Either way, BurgerFi's fare is fine, but it'll definitely take a bite out of your wallet.

BurgerFi is another in the trend of upscale fast food burgers, not quite cooked-to-order, not quite McDonald's. Competitors are UBurger, Shake Shack, Five Guys, and they're pretty much in line with all of them. The first time through, I wasn't any more impressed than the rest. But now that I've been back about 10 times, I realized I really appreciate the consistency. A solid burger, and there aren't so many options that you'll never make a choice. Naturally, you can have it your way for the typical "pay as you go" fees. Fries are great, just the amount of salt I like, although you need to ask about the sizes. The smallest option really is a full serving for two people, so don't go in thinking you can watch your weight here. Concretes and shakes are a great touch every so often. I'm a big fan of the BurgerFi sauce. Not a big fan of the Breakfast All Day Burger, the maple syrup just doesn't mix right, but their "Confused" meat and veggie burger option is a pretty good idea for a quirky burger. And hey, grab a couple affordable draft beers without being expected to tip. Worth the second try.

Updated: I've now eaten here at least a dozen times. Went uburger for the first time in a while and wow. They totally blow burgerfi out of the water. There is no reason to go to burgerfi with uburger near by. The reason I'm downgrading to one star? Well there was a hair in my fries on one of my early visits (a short black looking pube or something). I could look past that I guess. Once, it happens. Well after enjoying most of my root beer float today looked in my cup and there is another short black hair in it. These are not mine. I will never return. Gross. ------ The burgers and dogs are just ok. The buns are awful - I don't understand the gimmicky pressing the logo in. Everything always seems smushed and sloppy when you are eating it. Fries are really good and so are the shakes. Locally I think u burger is much better.

Burger and hot dogs are good. I wanted to really wanted something to "wow" me, but there's nothing that special about this burger joint. This is your "Fast Casual" burger restaurant. Not as cheap as your McDonald's or Burger King, you get more options like Five Guys, Shake Shack, etc. If you want a good place to get burgers and beer this would be a good alternative.

This place is alright. Lets start out with: The fries are really good and you get alot for your money here, more than any place else. Great fry joint, now that being said their burgers are rather small for the money and are Ok but nothing special. Hard to find a good burger in the area but drive down Rt 9 and there is a FIVE GUYS! If you want fries this is the place to go, other than that its simply ok.

Pretty good burgers but better can be found close by. The fries are really good and the ice cream is good. The burgers are pretty small. I've gotten the breakfast burger and it was a little too much. My gf said the veggy burger she wouldn't get again, dry and fried. Chili cheese fries were ok. Large is really big. The best thing about this place is the tvs, beers, and casual environment. Came for a pats game and it was really chill. Pbr is only like 2.50 and dos x is like 4$.

44 mins with no remorse for a hamburger. What poor Managment and service. My wife said, oh it reminds me of Shake shack. No way, not even close on service or food. BU crew, I know it's close and easy but stay away we all know it's not worth it. Wendy's just beat out In and Out burger in a taste test go there instead.

Food is five stars, location is four stars, and service is one star so three it is. As everyone else has commented, BurgerFi is like a Five Guys with hot dogs, beer and milkshakes which should make it amazing but instead the poor service makes it difficult to justify going back to. We went to a show at the Paradise Rock Club (right next door) Sunday and BurgerFi was behind the line outside to get in. Seemed logical to pop in, grab a quick bite and a cheap beer and wait out the crowd, right? Wrong. Took twenty minutes to process a line of six people because customers who had already been served kept cutting in to complain about their food orders being incorrect. Great chicken apple dog, good beer selection, and the Cajun spice on the fries was great but I can't imagine going into a place that's such a headache again.

I was excited about the rise of the new wave burger chain but I'm growing weary. BurgerFi may just be proof that the trend is going to far. Five Guys was a few years ago and I don't consider then part of this latest trend. But then we had Tasty Burger and that ok cause their local. We also got Boston Burger which is ok cause their different enough from Tasty Burger. Then came Shake Shack and for me that kind of maxed it out. I really like the Shack. BurgerFi is coming down the other side of the mountain for me. It looks A LOT like Shake Shack to begin with all the way down to the menu items. The prices seem pretty reasonable though. I ordered a cheeseburger (automatically a double), a fry, and a drink. It came to $15. Ok. I expected that. When I got the burger I was TERRIBLY disappointed. For the relatively reasonable price I paid the portion was not even comparable (see pictures) and was more like a double cheeseburger slider or single cheeseburger than anything else. It was poorly seasoned (or not at all) and average at best. If I had been rating it on burger alone I would have given it 1 star. It's not bad but they tried and miserably failed to do something thing original or even remotely stay with the trend. Where BurgerFi actually stands out are the fries. They're actually better than most places except Boston Burger which is on another level. I'd rate them second best in Boston. You can get toppings on the fries. I got mine Cajun. They ended up coming with bacon on them cause I asked for it on my burger but they mixed it up. Luckily I was not charged. The fries are real, thick, and hand cut. Not over salted shoestring fries that have become the awful trend everywhere. I will come back because the hot dogs are apparently waygu beef and I need to sample the shakes and concretes. I also give them points for a veggie burger which I will probably try at some point. I don't expect to be impressed but given convenience in the area I could see myself becoming a repeat customer.

The food was simply delicious! I ordered a veggie burger and a sundae (oh my goodness ~ their sundaes are rich and so very tasty) 5/5 The noise level and price of my burger ($7) is why I rated this place 3/5

I heard a lot of hype about this place so I finally decided to check it out recently. I kept it real just had basic cheeseburger and an order of fries. It's a really nice place and the food is good, but I wouldn't say that it's as "amazing" as I've been hearing. The burgers are very small. They are tasty and fresh, for sure, but small. I thought that the hand-cut fries were the star of the show though. They were delicious and the small order is HUGE. I would eat here again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to go here. Overall though, it's a good place, and if you like burgers, you should check it out.

I want to love this place. I stopped by again for lunch and there was literally 1 person in line, in front of me (my coworker). I ordered a basic cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings (as part of their cry and fries). The food took forever to come out. The fries were extremely soggy, except for half of the fries which were burnt and inedible. Just walk up or down the street to T Anthony's, UBURGER, or heck Boston's House of Pizza if you're looking for good burgers and fries.

Oh, BurgerFi, you're new to my life, but you kind of have a special place in my heart already. I'm so glad I waited after a few more visits to write this review--because my visits have gotten better each time. :) Favorites: The All-Day Breakfast Burger, the Hippie Burger, and the generous serving samples of ice cream that go around (for tiny me) Now, I can never not enjoy an all-day breakfast burger. Even when coming from a mediocre diner, if it's there, there's just something about that extra egg that hits the spot. But BurgerFi has changed the game with its right balance of maple. Most times it's not too much, not too little, but just right (except for the last time, but I'm forgiving you). Then there's the Hippie Burger, which is a part of their secret menu (although it's actually right there in the menu under "Secret Menu") and is made with a quinoa patty. Yum! My first time trying a quinoa patty was in BurgerFi, and it totally tops other veggie patty or black bean patty options found in other restaurants. As far as ice cream goes, it's not spectacular, but it has the right thickness to go with your burger and is available in red velvet or peanut butter chocolate, as well as your other traditional flavors. I enjoy the service here. They're super friendly and cool and don't mind changing the channel for me when there's a particular non-Boston game I want to see. They're so cool that I think they add to the relaxed, yet bright aura that BurgerFi is going for. The fries are all right. The garlic parmesan fries look better than they actually are. Also, their Chicago Hot Dog does not do the actual kind justice. Sorry. But overall, BurgerFi demonstrates its message well. Messages of sustainability are everywhere and it's done in a clean, stylish way. Also, with the grassfed and free-range options for meat, I feel better about spending my college budget here and not elsewhere for my burger fix. As a BU student, I'm so glad it's just down the street. As a fan of Paradise Rock Club, I adore how it's just right next door. Cool times all around.

In response to the Owners comments, I ordered and paid for a single burger NOT a double burger which costs more. Who cares about the burger weight 3.3 oz BEFORE it hits the grill and grease. After cooking, the oz/s get reduced so (what goes in my mouth is what counts) and the single burger being wafer weight meat amounts to about 2 oz or less. I used to do Catering and know all about food and food prep. FYI: Wendys gives a Senior Citizen a FREE unlimited soda. Your Soda Machine dispenser is not a big deal and is now all around town at Wendys, Wegmans Supermarket and the like for unlimited soda. I say again Shake Shack in Chestnut hill gives you a single burger that you can find in the bun and is NOT wafer thin. Better to pay for a substantial burger (after cooking) then have the jazz of free condiments.........

Despite all of the negative reviews of this place, I guess I am going to be the voice of dissent when it comes to this manner. For those who do not know, this place IS an upscale burger place, where you will be paying more than you usually do for a burger and fries. If you come in expecting for a cheap burger and what not, look elsewhere. I have dropped in twice so far, and both times the burger was good. A tad on the greasy side, but what hamburger doesn't have a nominal amount of grease? The plethora of toppings that gave every customer the capability to customize their burger to their specific tastes is a huge plus. There is a myriad of options that left me at a loss for words as I was holding up the line trying to make my decision. Both times I got a burger and fries, and it was excellent. This place is good, but not something that will blow you away. I have had just as good burgers that were cheaper, but I do plan on coming back. Burger Fi (I always say Semper Fi) is capitalizing on the upscale burger fever that is sweeping this nation. It joins that ranks of Uburger and Five Guys, so if you like those places you will like it here. It is no Inn-n-Out, but it is definitely worth at least one visit.

This place won't be here in a year. Lots of attention to the room and the process. $13.81 for a burger and fries is just too much. Unremarkable. Not bad, but too expensive for what was served. And the burger was small. And it took far too long. Won't be back.

Terrible. If you are looking for a burger that tastes like the burgers here, go to McDonalds and get it for a fraction of the price. This is ridiculous. The reason people are coming here: Environment is nice Beer Young crowd Cool soda fountain What people don't realize: - The buns taste like they are straight from McDonalds. They just put a stamp on it - The vegetables actually taste like garbage - The meat - again Mickey D's New companies like this add to the problem that is unhealthy fast food eating. Do yourself a favor and AVOID. It's not worth tr money AT ALL. I'm going to be sick, I haven't had this type of discomfort since the last time I ate at a McDonalds/Burger King etc.

There's an endless stream of burger places that have been opening in Boston lately. BurgerFi, Smashburger, Five Guys, Shake Shack, UBurger, Four Burgers, B.Good, Burger Dive, Boston Burger Company, Wahlburgers, Tasty Burger, Flat Patties and Griddlers. I've been to them all, so let me save you the time/money and tell you which are actually worth it: 1. UBurger 2. BurgerFi 3. Five Guys 4. Shake Shack BurgerFi opened its first area location tonight (there are a few scattered around the country - but more like one per city - not saturated like Five Guys) and they've done an outstanding job. Really impressive effort on the first day. The burgers are great and it's not hard to see they got their recipe to be almost exactly like Shake Shack. The fries are similar to Five Guys except you can do toppings or get them cooked light, regular, or crispy (see the secret menu). The concretes and shakes are rock solid - no pun intended. People were nice and the space is very tastefully done. It's like Shake Shack with energy. There are now two amazing spots (UBurger and BurgerFi) right near each other. It's neck and neck to see which is better. Both are wonderful. FYI, BurgerFi is better than Shake Shack. But Shake Shack has a much cooler name and a patio. FYI #2, the best "east coast" style burger is still R.F. O'Sullivan's in Somerville. The above listings are pretty much all "west coast" style (griddle vs. grill).

Hey look, another Shake Shack look alike. I'm not talking the specific model, of course; fast causal burger and shake places far pre-date Shake Shack. But in terms of the actual color schemes and physical look and feel of the space, BurgerFi is far from original. The process is basic: you order at a counter with options aplenty, a few minutes pass and the food is ready. See, that's not so hard, is it? BurgerFi, based out of Florida and with locations across the country, has the premise that they set themselves apart with different topping options from their competitors. That may be true, with options like neon relish, salt and vinegar chips and Peter Luger steak sauce all optional add-ons; some are free, some are an extra dollar. Pre-arranged burgers are limited (with a "secret" menu also available if you are in the know) to fairly normal options, and the menu is rounded out with the usual fries, onion rings, sodas, concretes and custards. I opted for a single cheeseburger with neon relish, Peter Luger steak sauce, cry and fries (an onion rings and fry combo) and a red velvet shake. The bun, with an imprinted logo of BurgerFi, is a soggy, wasteland of an end product. It's not a classic, squishy potato roll you may be expecting, but a sad, state of affairs grocery store bun one would be hard pressed to pass off to guests at a backyard barbecue. Needless to say it's a mushy mess and a cheap and poor choice at that. The patty, however, is actually quite appealing, at least based on the scene and parameters at play. It's your classic Angus beef, but a clear step up from the massive burger chains we all grew up with, but still not on the level of higher end fast casual burger spots, namely Shake Shack and Flat Patties. The seasoning is fine and although quite thin, the couple of bites it took me to gobble it all down wasn't a huge misfire. I suspect doubling the beef/patty is probably the way to go in the future. Melted American cheese is gooey, one of the dominant flavors and totally works. Neon relish is a wacky, as promised, bright green and acidic relish with personality. The color is unnatural but who the hell cares; it's got a nice zip and for a free add-on, I'm not mad at it. Peter Luger steak sauce (I've never had it, always been curious) comes on the side and is rather skimpy, especially for the extra dollar, is basically a horseradish heavy ketchup. Normally I'm not a lettuce and tomato guy on my burger, but for free filler I'd probably recommend the added vegetation to once again at least attempt a Shake Shack imitation. Fries are woefully under-seasoned but sort of crispy, and massive onion rings (like the size of a hubcap massive) are visually stunning but are not fried properly. You essentially receive half of a friggin' onion, but they aren't cooked long enough so it's all grease, raw onion and slippery batter. The shake is fine and filling, not worth the trip on its own but serviceable by shake and custard standards. BurgerFi isn't trying to do much, if anything different, it's merely another burger chain in a long line of ordinary burger chains. The beef is a step up from 5 Guys and McDonald's I'd say, but "different" toppings and mediocre sides are not enough to warrant much of a recommendation or a return visit.

I like this place. First of all, what's not to like about burgers?? They're pretty hard to mess up and always a guilty pleasure! This place does it right. I love the college-kid, yet trendy atmosphere of the place. I ordered a single burger and onion ring + french fry combo, with only free toppings, and my total came out to around $10. The burger was delicious. Lightly toasted buns, stamped with the BurgerFi logo. It had the perfect amount of sauces and the ground beef tasted great. The only complaint I could give was the relatively small size of the burger. It felt slightly smaller than a Burger King Whopper. The onion ring french fries combo came with 3 huge crispy onion rings stacked on top of a pile of fries. The onion rings stole the show. They were incredibly crispy and delicious. The fries were fine. My buddy got the "secret menu item" the Parmesan herb fries, and they were even better! Get the onion rings, get the Parmesan-Herb french fries. Don't expect too much greatness or size from the burgers.

Decor was interesting. Like a burger joint fashioned after chipotle but lacks the authenticity. Burger was mediocre at best. The pattie was poorly seasoned. I have to say the customer service was somewhat lacking as well. The cashier wasn't very friendly. I visited this joint in the middle of December and the owner clearly was trying to save on their gas bills because it was freezing. Almost everyone had their coats on.

A juicy addition to the neighborhood. Full of students, so be prepared to wait at least ten minutes in line. Today is opening day and they are giving out swag like cups, sunglasses and some lucky people got $1 fries coupons. I like that the calories are listed on the menu and that they use good ingredients, but I can't dine here often, or risk gaining a ton of weight! The patties are thinner than expected, which is why they offer double patties, no doubt. I got a plain single burger with cheddar, lettuce, and tomato. Nothing amazing, nothing horrible.

This place has a similar concept to Shake Shack, but with a few more menu options. They have good combinations on the hot dogs (I tried the Chicago Style), and after I ordered, I wish I got the Breakfast All Day Burger instead (Burger with fried egg & bacon)! I really liked the Parmesan fries, better than the Cajun style fries. Their desserts look amazing, big portions on the waffle cone, you can customize the shakes, and they also have "concrete" custards. We went on a Sunday afternoon at 5pm, and it wasn't packed at all. Our group of 9 was able to get a big table with no problem. :)

For $20.78 we had two cheeseburgers, Parmesan Cheese & Herb Fries, an Amstel Light and a bottle of Coke from Mexico. Not bad. The staff were friendly and polite. Food came fast. Better burger than I was expecting. What I liked about it the most was that it didn't make me burpy or farty after. The restaurant was a little messy inside, especially the floor. I wouldn't go so far as to say that it looked like the field the morning after Woodstock II, but it was still chaotic. I was informed that the bathrooms were clean. That's always a plus.

Stopped here around 8pm to grab a quick dinner to-go last night. Ordered two burgers and one order of onion rings from a girl who was far from friendly. Pretty simple, right? Got all the way to my car and realized that I had been given fries instead of my onion rings (great). I go back inside and have to wait several minutes for my onion rings. When I finally get handed the bag and look inside, to my disbelief there are about 4 onion rings. Seriously? At this point I contemplate if it is even worth saying anything or if I should just cut my losses and go...but I couldn't get over the fact I was getting 4 onion rings for almost $5, so I point out to the girl behind the counter that my order of onion rings seems awfully small. She then calls back to the people in the kitchen that she needs "one more onion ring". I hear her say the word "one" but assume she means one order... Because how ridiculous would it be if I end up standing around another 10 minutes for ONE single onion ring? Guess what happens next... I stand around for another 10 minutes... And then, I get handed ONE SINGLE onion ring. It was insulting. And weird. The slowest fast food experience of my life. Such a waste of time and money. There are too many good burger places in the area for me to waste my time here again.

Burgerfi is nothing more than an okay burger joint. The burgers are good although I do think they need more sauce. Tasty burgers but nothing special. I would suggest the "secret" menu item urban fries. They come with their garlic aioli (aka garlic mayo) and a Parmesan and herb blend and they're really yummy! Most employees are friendly and fast when the place is packed but somehow incredibly incompetent when there aren't many people around. Finally, the "frozen custards" (aka milkshakes) are tasty but way too thick. It's impossible to sip on them unless you let them sit for a while. Overall, an okay place that is definitely not worth the prices they're charging (usually around $15 for burger, fries, and a shake).

Ok I haven't been down on comm ave for awhile and I was actually looking forward to going to Qudoba. And to my dismay...poof they're gone and yet another burger chain takes over. So what the hell lets try it. So I decided to get a Chicago style dog and onion rings. The hot dog was alright but I should have went to Spike's honestly. The onion rings were really disappointing. They're massive but absolutely blah. I could think of a hundred different ways I should have consumed those calories. One saving grace...the red velvet concrete freakin amazing!!! But honestly that's it.

BurgerFi contacted me because of my review. I felt it was a relatively positive review, but it shows, to me, that they care what their customers think. That's a good thing. Let's hope my next visit (since I'm likely to be in the neighborhood again, soon) will give me a reason to increase their rating.

This will be the last time I'll ever order from this place they screw up on my burger. After I called it in and all I got was like small Shrivel burger. Secondly 2.77 for a reg size drink which I can two time the size at Cheesecake Factory. Third the staff seem so disorganized plus the food is so salty.

Just another burger chain pushing into Boston. Since I love fast food and I love burgers, I have no qualms. I have come multiple times now and it seems to improve each time. The first experience during opening week was a nightmare. Incredibly slow service, sloppy burgers, the ingredients didn't even taste fresh (no flavor to any of the veggies, not even a spice from the jalapenos). Give it another try if you, too, were disappointed then. Atmosphere is pretty lively. Pop music or something upbeat is usually blasting on the sound system. Usually louder at nights or if its filled with BU kids. Very pleasing aesthetic with wood paneling and accents everywhere. Because it's an old Qdoba that they didn't remodel too heavily, there's an awkward entrance ramp and cashier line that snakes through the seating area. First glance at the menu and it looks like Shake Shack. Burgers, shakes, and concretes. The burgers here are small compared to most other burger places. The meat is of high quality, but still the fast food west coast style (thin griddle pressed patties). The bun is probably the worst I've had (worse than McDs). They stamp their logo on it to make it seem better than it is. If you like cheese, they def know how to load it on and melt it completely through the burger. They have a strange system of charging extra toppings. I wish they had more preset standards. The fries are kind of bland. Very dry. If I'm going to indulge in fried food, I want it greasy or tasty. Parm and herb add-on was pungent tasting. Cajun was passable. Still, don't think there's any value in their fries. Same with onion rings. Large battered type. But the onion is sliced super thin and the batter was just salty oil. They do offer alcohol here. And they have Clown Shoes on tap! I think there was also Sam Adams and PBR and a dozen or so bottles. There's also wine options. Ice cream and shakes are all custard based. Very rich and filling. Takes a long time if you order a concrete since they deep freeze it Haven't tried the hot dogs yet, but I'm eager to see if their kobe dog is legit or not. There's also a secret menu, but no prices....kinda strange. Service is very slow, even with the seemingly dozen workers in the back. The cashiers still need a bit more training or experience. One of the cleanup guys or managers is pretty nice; bused our table for us. Overall, not too impressed. But I'll be returning thanks to a handful of coupon flyers in the mail ($5 off $15 and free ice cream with $5 purchase). I'm pleased that they opened so close to UBurger. I'm sure both will stay open being so close to BU and Allston. Hopefully competition will prevent them from raising prices or force them to keep making coupons :)

BurgerFi recently opened up in a location that used to be a Qdoba (RIP Qdoba). A friend and I recently decided to visit one evening after a BU hockey game (read: the line at Raising Cane's was too long). The first thing you notice when you walk into BurgerFi is the noise level - it's ridiculous. Like music-at-an-Abercrombie-volume ridiculous. Also, the way the restaurant is set up, the line always snakes through the seating area. Kind of awkward, but whatever. I got a burger "alternative style" (which is a rip-off of an In-n-Out Animal Style burger) and a large order of fries. We waited for about 20 minutes to get our order - it didn't seem like there was a sense of urgency among the staff. The burger was tiny and quite smushed together. The bun was too soft to support the topping (read: super sloppy), but the taste was fine. The fries were good as well, albeit a little salty. Overall, BurgerFi is fine - it's not going to win any awards, but I'd probably go back if I were in the area.

Brighton and its surrounding areas had been buzzing about the new BU location of BurgerFi for MONTHS, so when my boyfriend and I had the chance to drop in prior to the Justin Timberlake concert at the Garden, we had pretty high expectations going in. Thankfully, I'm happy to report that these expectations were met and then some! We got there at about 5:45 and had to wait in line for about 8 minutes, but we weren't in a rush and it gave us time to peruse the menu, which is posted above the counter. By the time made it to the front, we ordered one regular cheeseburger (which, should be noted, is a double) and one burger with eight instructions as to what I wanted on it. The guy taking our order didn't even bat an eye as I rattled off the type of cheese, raw - not grilled - onions and a bunch of other toppings they offer, then proceeded to recite the entire thing back to me in a single breath. He also gave us a thumbs-up on our choice of beer, which was a really dark and heavy stout that was perfect for the 20-degree heatwave we were experiencing. We snagged a table and waited with our beers and, after reading reviews citing a long wait, were pleasantly surprised when our buzzer went off only a few minutes later. I know BurgerFi gets knocked a bit for their burgers being generic, but for the price and the ambiance, I thought they were exactly what I expected. The spicy cajun fries, on the other hand, were awesome; I'm usually a parm fry gal but I've actually considered popping into BurgerFi off the B-Line just to get the cajun fries again! My only qualm was that towards the end of our meal, it was obvious that BU had just released a bunch of classes because suddenly our table was being circled by hungry-looking vultures in sweatpants waiting to swoop in on our seats. Other than that, it was overall, a very pleasant experience. Granted, I've only been to BurgerFi this singular time, but i can certainly say that it won't be my last!

The high-end burger ambience is deceiving, because the burger itself is tiny and thin, comparable to Wendy's or In N Out Burger (but not as delicious as In N Out and 5x the price of Wendy's). The guy who took my order was really nice and took my order right, but no onions made it onto my very tiny tasteless fast food burger. It took 20 minutes for a to-go order. Fries are that starchy handcut type which I guess is great for people who like that kind of fry. Onion rings were fantastic, they're HUGE, but as a consequence you only get 3. Really disappointed, they should've spent less on the feng shui and more on the beef.

You are kidding me, right - 25 min wait for a plain burger, middle of a sunday afternoon-cashier was clueless and slow; and how long does it take to get a plain burger? Very disappointed over service for sure. Burger ok, had better - wish I had quick service as others say exists. Think the kitchen was having fun instead of cookin, no interest in returning.Oh, ordered the burger - plain - and they put everything on it, guess the cashier-Priscilla-didn't listen when i ordered. Overall, very disappointing.

Not sure why there's so many bad reviews! This place is very similar to Shake Shack (sorta-fancy burgers, custards) with a familiar set up and great prices. Breakfast All Day burger was FANTASTIC! Fries, and other basic burgers were great, but lack much flavor. Recommended if in the area. However, it's much BETTER than Shake Shack.

Great burgers, great ice cream and super friendly staff-- we will be back soon! The burgers were great-- juicy and delicious. The logo stamp on the burger was a fun touch. Fries were slightly overcooked to our liking, but we are willing to give them another chance on that one soon. Staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we stepped up to the counter. The ice cream really took us by surprise. After our burgers we ordered a cone and a concrete. WOW-- super creamy and delicious. I have been searching for soft serve in Boston for months and finally found it! I am already looking forward to my next visit here!

The service was great. Everyone was super nice. Everything was really clean. Cost me $31 for two full meals, which is fine. However, what want fine was my cold burger. I expect a burger to be hot and the bun to be toasted, and that was not the case. The patty was really thin and small. Thin isn't bad, but the patty should have a large circumference. I did like the giant onion rings a lot! Overall, I will not be back. The best burger spots are Five Guys, Tasty Burger, and BeGood...in that order.

I went with a friend here because she was hungry. We looked at the menu and I was amazed at the selection of items. They have many kinds of fries, burgers, booze and more. There is a catch... Everything is very high in calories and is expensive for burgers. We placed our orders and they handed us a food pager. We sat down and started to talk. About 10-15 minutes and later they are yelling and I mean yelling out our names. So why give us the pager? The fries were great and tasty. The burger on the other hand was a joke. Buns were soggy and looked old. The toppings on the burger were very little. Oh and the meat itself was small, so greasy it was gross and dripping all over. They also use 100% peanut oil. So don't got if you can't be around peanuts. I'll give it two stars for quick service and good fires but that is it.

Echoing many of the other Yelpers on here, it's another burger place and it's not really worth the trip. Trying to be Shake Shack, but falling short on 1) customer service (very bad - their credit card machine wasn't working and we didn't get one apology or warning), 2) marketing (just too much. stop with the cutesy stuff.) and 3) food. It's OK, but just plain not as good. Would rather drive over to Chestnut Hill than go here again, which is directly off the T and my commute.

I ordered a veggie burger. I'm not vegetarian. It came with bacon that I didn't order. My order was incorrect in other ways. The burger was tasty so they get more than one star.

It doesn't matter if your Burgers are good or not. If your service fails at even the basics of tasks, no amount of food will justify another trip from a customer. The service here is beyond horrible. I had to repeat my order 3 times because they didn't understand their own menu.

It's great that their burgers are all natural but most of it isn't meat, it's mostly fat (natural fat, but disgusting). The music they play is incredibly loud as if they don't want you to sit down to eat but you have to weave through tables just to get to the cashier. I like the wood paneling, it's as if they're trying to make you forget you're at a burger place.

Very nice variety on their menu; nice outdoor seating; for an extremely discerning connoisseur, a solid four stars!

Shake Shack in a better location with Five Guys Fries and cheaper than UBurger. What's not to like?

I have had most of the new burger joints around this one was way better. The prices were a little steep for what your getting what do you expect being right on BU campus. It's better then shake shack and uburger and be good burger and 5 guys.. Fries were good too. I definitely will be back.

Glorified BK. But still greasy goodness. Get the onion rings. They're giant. Hold on the fries.

30 minute wait for 2 burgers, fries, and onion rings. We asked an employee (manager?) And he checked. He told us that they were re- doing the onion rings. So our burgers waited and got cold. THey should have brought out what was ready, and brought the rest later. As it is, burger wasn't that good, and my fries were burnt. Employees were very nice but not enough to make up for the food.

There are a few different burger joints in the area and decided to try this place since it was new. I tired the breakfast all day burger the patty itself had almost no flavor but the other toppings carried it. it was also a little on the small side. The fries though were excellent

Went here with a friend for dinner before an event at BU, and will not be going back again! The line was fairly long. This was not because there were a lot of customers in the store, but because there was one person working on register who was moving incredibly slow. Once we ordered our food, we then had another exceptionally long wait for our food. The food and drinks themselves were not very good. We both ordered the BurgerFi Cheeseburger with a few changes (no tomato, add bacon, add ketchup), and were incredibly displeased. The burgers were SO incredibly greasy they were hard to eat. The buns were soggy sucking up all of the grease from the burgers, yet they were still dripping. There was a good amount of cheese on the burgers, which is not always the case when eating out. The bacon on the burgers was even just OK. It did not have much flavor to it. The BurgerFi sauce on the burgers was overpowering, and wasn't the best sauce. I would recommend ordering it on the side. We ordered our fries well done, but they seemed to be the same as everyone elses'. Some were still soggy, but some came out great and crispy. I enjoyed the fries, but my friend thought that all you could taste on them was the grease/oil. Our beers were only moderately cold, and we both found it surprising that we were not carded. The restaurant itself was also displeasing. The trash was overflowing. The ketchup and mayo dispensers were both empty. Despite giving customers buzzers for when their food was ready, the staff was screaming peoples' names very loudly. If you're looking for a burger in this area, I would recommend going to UBurger instead.

Coming from California where we have In N Out, I definitely judge east coast burgers harshly! BurgerFi is on my campus, the staff is great, and the space is gorgeous considering it being in Allston. If I had family in town, I would bring them here! But why 3 stars? There really isn't anything wrong with it and the burger was good, but it just wasn't the best I've had. I got the single cheeseburger and it was pretty small (so I'll get the double next time). I felt like I could've eaten two of them! I have nothing against BurgerFi but I think UBurger, Tasty Burger, and Five Guys are better. It's just the taste I guess. I will probably be back because it's in a really convenient location, but it's not anything special.

Had a cheeseburger with mushrooms - really awesome. Double patty, tasted fresh, good overall flavor. Haven't tried fries yet - next time! Also serve wine and beer! Cool for fast food. This is high-quality, local fast food - as good as it gets! Place WAS too loud I agree

The burgers are very good but the customer service is so atrocious that it detracts from the experience. The second time I went I received the wrong order not once, but twice. They also forgot I was waiting and took a very long time correcting the order. None of the 12 employees behind the counter were apologetic. Other times I've been there I felt like an inconvenience to their behind the counter chatter. Go elsewhere for your burgers.

We were really excited about trying Burgerfi, but our hopes were quickly dashed when we realized how small and expensive the burgers were. The menu was not helpful as it doesn't lay out clearly how to "build your burger," and the cashiers ask a lot of questions when we ordered that are very jargony - great if you eat there frequently, but it was our first time and we were confused. The burgers themselves were unremarkable and we left $18 in the hole for two small burgers, two drinks, and one order of fries. Probably not going back.

Walked by it a few times and decided to try it. Had the burgerfi cheeseburger and cheese fries. It was okay, nothing special. The cheese sauce was kind of bland. The vegefi (quinoa) burger looked good, maybe next time.

Very heavy on the grease, paper bag saturated with it. Not worth the $10.00f for burger and fries. Stay in Florida.

Went there on a weekday. The wifi burger I ordered had no taste at all, it was luke warm like it had just been unfrozen and zapped in microwave and put between two buns. They say sauce is put on burger... Maybe on someone else' burger but mine had no sauce whatsoever, completely dry. Fries were okay but many were burned at the ends. The only plus about the meal is that it didn't last long.

The other reviews I have quickly read provide a fair assessment for this place. I think the burgers are OK and the fries are better. The biggest reason I feel compelled to comment is that one staff member in particular who appeared to just finish his shift went out of his way to quickly check on my kid who took a tumble off of one of the bar stools. He walked over again on his way out to say hello and have a good night. I wish I could have taken his name as it was a kind gesture for him to show his concern. I also like the fact their staff seemed to enjoy eating their own food. I like seeing the staff hanging out during breaks and eating the food. I also feel compelled to comment because they were cool about giving me a decent sized cup for water that I could refill on my own. People might question this as a good reason to give a good review, but several other places make it nearly impossible to just get water and practically force you to buy soda, juice, etc. Ordering took longer than expected as one of the cashiers was being trained which seemed strange given the people waiting. But once available the order was taken in a nice fashion. This place also had beer available which is pretty cool for a fast food burger joint and it had a nice atmosphere with tv's and radio music playing. I think if you are in the area and want a decent spot to grab a quick bite particularly before a game at Agganis then this is a reasonable choice.

I was driving by and hadn't noticed this place (it's been there 5 months they told me). Since I've tried everything from Shake Shack to Smashburger, UBurger, Four Burgers, Five Guys and Burger Dive, I figured i had to at least try it. Got my usual cheeseburger and vanilla shake and was also talked into the parmesan and herb fries. The burger was great (but not quite as good as Shake Shack) The fries were great (definitely enough for 2. I think it was another .97 to make them Parmesan Herb and they were tasty). The shake was surprisingly not great... too sweet! (and I love sweet...) I couldn't even finish it because it was so sweet. That has never happened. Oh and they don't have brewed iced tea (just some bottles of Honest Tea I think). So for the last two things, I'm giving them just 4 stars... Could have been 5. Will I go back for a cheeseburger? Absolutely, although I worry about parking once school is back in session.

I live in Boston and have visited the other burger places extensively. This was by far the worst burger joint I have eaten at since moving here 3 years ago. The burger was so small it was essentially a slider. They served a generous portion of fries, though they were all burned and tasteless. A burger and fries (no drink!) will set you back $11. For a much better price and tastier meal, I recommend UBurger or Five guys. Even Boston Burger Company, a sit down restaurant will match this price with a much better burger. I will certainly never be coming back.

Don't offer a veggie burger if you're never going to have it in stock. Consistently a waste of time.

The burgers are ok, however service is appallingly long. It took longer to prepare my shake than to cook a hamburger. And the one guy who was making the shake was also taking new orders... instead of working on the shake.

Went to check this place out with a group of friends who were excited to try it out. Since I was vegetarian I checked the menu before going for any vegetarian options and they had quinoa burgers! I was happy we didn't have to pick another place to eat because of me. I went up to the counter and asked if I can build my own burger with the quinoa burger, the employee said they can not do that and they are out of the quinoa burgers. I wasn't too hungry anyways and thought I can just graze over my friends' fries, but I didn't like that they wouldn't let me customize the only vegetarian option they have. Then one other friend stepped out of line because she found out they use peanut oil. So my peanut allergy friends beware! The rest of the group who were able to order their burger weren't happy with their meal anyways mainly because they paid more for their tiny burger compared to the burger I ended up getting at UBurger down the street. Key note, make sure your burger came with everything you ordered because one of my friends did not get her bacon until she consumed 3/4 of it. Due to its size it's very easy to finish it in 3-4 bites. On the plus side, yummy fries, serves beer, location, and large tables.

Came here to pick up food for a friend. She said to get me something too for my efforts, but there was nothing I was comfortable eating as they use peanut oil, but the staff couldn't even tell me if it was in everything or just the fries etc. I got her a concrete and some food. The concrete took longer than the food, and then even though I speccified it was for a friend and I needed it bagged TO GO, they did not have lids for the beverage, and they couldn't bag it up. So I asked for a refund on at least the concrete because that would have gotten all over my textbooks had I tried putting it in my bag. They couldn't do that. Spent 15 minutes arguing with the staff about the wrong order (that they refused to fix) and trying to get a refund or a different beverage they could put a lid on- didn't get that issues resolved either, and so by the time I left, I had no food to be able to bring to my friend, and pretty much gave them away my money, since I couldn't take it to go and since everything looked soggy and cold by then, it was better to leave it on the counter than bring such horrible looking food to her- McD's would have been a better option for getting something for her, apparently, but I knew she had wanted to try out this new burger joint. I now know that I will not be going to this new joint, and neither will I or several of my other friends. They really need to work on their customer service, and the attitudes of the staff.

Came back to Boston to visit and tried out BurgerFi. It looked like a solid joint from the outside, inside it was like a bad club - lady gaga, katy perry, etc. on high volume. The burgers were small, grease-laden, and tasted almost exactly like BK burgers. The chicken apple dog was also not great, also greasy, nothing special at all. Definitely not high-quality beef, definitely overwhelmingly greasy, definitely go to UBurger instead.

The burger was pretty good, but the staff still need to learn how to treat customers. Along with the burger,I had ordered a coffee mocha milkshake. The cashier(who looks like he hated his job and anyone who placed an order with him) did not even know if it was available. When he asked someone behind the counter,it seemed like it "might " be available, then another lady nods her head, so I assumed the milkshake was available. When i went to pick my my order, I noticed that there was no milkshake - when I asked, the cashier just said to me "Sir, there is no chocolate for the mocha coffee milkshake so we didn't give you any." When I started explaining to her that initially i was told that the milkshake was available, she cut me off and blatantly lied in a "rude" tone that she was the one who told me the milkshake wouldn't be available when she wasn't even part of the conversation. This wouldn't have been such a big deal for me if she knew how to speak to customers. Since this a new store, I think most of the staff there are inexperienced, based on their behavior.
