The burgers are always dependable. Usually find a good beer on tap. Onion rings are great. Love the atmosphere and there is always a ball game on somewhere.

I have no idea how this place is famous for overcooked, run-of-the mill burgers. The train is annoying, as well. Service is slow, and the prices are too high.

Really enjoyed the Times today. I stopped in just to have a couple drinks and check the place out since I had not been to this location before. I ended up staying a few hours. I sat at the bar and didn't have anything to eat but the bartender, Lindsay, was so nice and friendly that it was hard to leave. Plus she makes a mean mudslide! I'll be back.

Terrible ! Service was slow so I'll be at best !! The place look dirty. And I saw the manager tell the customer to move his car because that was his parking space ! The guy had a kid with him, waiting on the train !! Absolutely ridiculous never come back again !!!

Quite possibly the BEST burgers in the area (accompanying fries are yummy, too.) Pleasant, fast and efficient service. My husband loves the pickle chips. Divey, sure, but you're there for your stomach, not your eyes. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water for one of their burgers right now, actually...

We went here on a recommendation from some locals. Ordered fried pickles for apps.... Super greasy and salty, but I guess that's fried pickles for you. Nothing on the entree menu grabbed my eye, so I went with the plain old burger. When asked how I liked it cooked, I replied "medium". It came out vaporized, beyond well. I never complain, but they missed so badly, I had to. Why even ask? Other dishes were very mediocre. Never again.

The food wasn't as good as its cracked up to be. I def. expected more from this place. The staff was nice. The prices were alright. But the food wasn't worth going back again. The parking lot here is a long one, it's inconvenient if there are a lot of people considering its quite a walk from the actual building itself.

Located in the charming heart of Olde Towne Slidell, Times Grill serves up delicious grill hamburgers and the like in the historic train depot. One can still hear the trains passing by on occasion, evoking feelings of nostalgia for the community past, and hope for the present. The burgers are generous in size, going all the way up to a whopping pound and a half. All the expected toppings for a burger place are here, and they even have a "Burger Baron" club for those adventurous enough to eat 20 different varieties. I haven't tried anything but the burgers yet, but if you're in Slidell looking for a solid grill with good service, in a nice atmosphere, you'd be hard pressed to do better.

I unfortunately happened upon the Times Grill on "kid's night" and was unwittingly seated right next to the stage before the festivities started. I wish I'd known that beforehand because I ended up suffering through one-too-many kid's renditions of Elvis and Miley Cyrus karaoke. If you're into family friendly places, this is definitely your spot. I prefer to enjoy a steak sans the Mickey Mouse Club theatrics. In the most bizarre twist of events, one of the performing kid's mothers came up to our table and asked if she could use one of our chairs. The chair wasn't being used so we shrugged and said, "Sure, why not?" Instead of taking the chair from the table and dragging it up to the stage so she could watch her kid perform, she proceeded to SIT AT OUR TABLE WITH US and record her kid with her iPhone. I looked at my date in complete shock--what a total looney tune. Onto the food: my date's blackened Redfish was really, really good. I definitely recommend it. My steak was just so-so for the price tag it carried. The dessert wasn't memorable or worth ordering in retrospect. 5/10 Times Grill feels like a chain, is slightly overpriced, and caters to a crowd I didn't enjoy dining with. I probably won't be back--at least not on kid's night.

The reviews for this restaurant must be for another Times restaurant. We'd heard about the great burgers & really wanted to try one. Boy were we disappointed! The burgers (2) were small and way overcooked. We couldn't even finish them. The waitress was very nice, and was accomodating, though.

I love that this restaurant is located in the old train station. That's pretty cool. Also it's right next to the railroad tracks so occasionally you'll get to see a train fly past your table. Zoom! The food is just average. I'm not really impressed with their "World Famous Burger". I can make a better burger at home for less money. Well, I can make anything on their menu better for less money. It is a pretty popular place still and it gets pretty crowed for lunch and dinner, especially during football games. In conclusion, if you enjoy paying for average food, then try Times Grill. Maybe you'll get to see a train, too. Zoom!

Leaving NOLA and stopped in Slidell for something to eat. Found a place on Yelp and on the way there we saw a sign that said World Famous Hamburgers and decided to detour and try them out. Nice place and clean and the staff was very friendly. Beer was cold and it is a unique setting beside the tracks. That's about all I can say about our visit. We all ordered 4 different burgers and they were all very dry. The onion rings were over done as well. There is really nothing special about this place and I kind of wish we had stuck to our original yelp destination.

Ok i know it must seem like i give everything a 5 star rating but its more like I've been on the lucky side of my food and service. Thus was yet another tasty burger. Sorry i didn't take any photos but i was starved and on a short time frame. Times grill junior burger with cheese and fries with a sweet tea. I was in and out in under 40 minutes which was great. Don't pass it up if in the neighborhood. It is easy to miss on this stretch of the road so just look for the old train depot, its inside.

My group of friends and I go here nearly every Sunday when I have them over. The burgers are absolutely delicious and there's a good variety of them. Wait staff is on the ball and they don't mind splitting checks. A+ on good food and a nostalgic locale.

These burgers are SO good. I had the Buffaloaded with sweet potato fries (yum!) and had a margarita on the rocks for my drink. Definitely delicious. It's sometimes difficult to find margaritas that aren't weak and watered down - the one here was great! The staff is friendly. And the trains come by - how cool! We'll definitely be coming back!

The best burger place I've found in Slidell! So many good options to choose from. I love the rockin USA burger and the Southern Pried burger. Also check out the moonshine margarita! It is inexpensive a really good! They do live music every once in a while. One-man-band kind of thing from what I've seen, it stays quiet enough for you to still talk woth the people at your table. Also the warrior sauce is amazing!

I love this place...after a 12-hour Amtrak ride, it's so nice to have someplace so reliably good waiting for me at the end of my journey! The staff here is amazing...they are always helpful and always cheerful. I spent ten days taking pictures of origami cranes at various locations (long story...bottom line, it was the "cranes on vacation" meant to cheer up a little girl with cancer. The manager asked what we were doing and I explained and he couldn't have been more supportive or helpful. I had a cheeseburger, potato salad, and doo-dads (fried onion threads), along with a bloody Mary. The cheeseburger was perfectly cooked, huge, juicy, and delicious. The doo-dads were thin, crispy threads of onion that were a perfect accompaniment. My co-foodies also got the burgers and were also very pleased with them and the doo-dads. The only thing none of us cared for was the potato salad. It was a gray-ish color with a slightly odd flavor (cajun? we couldn't really pinpoint it). Anyway, none of us ate the potato salad...but it may just not have been a flavor we were appreciative of...we were expecting just a southern, mayo-based salad. The bloody Mary? Perfect!! Just enough heat, just enough vodka, a good tomato juice base and the extra olives I asked for! Delicious!

Don't leave this place without having the onion rings!! Big battered behemoths of onion rings-get the remoulade with them. Very very good. The mushroom swiss burger was well done but still juicy. Excellent burger joint-will return for more when I return.

Great food great atmosphere...located in Slidell's old train station. Not a whole lot of inside tables but there are tables located outside and if you're lucky like us you get to experience a train zooming right past the station. Great place to just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely will be back!

This is a fun place to go since it's right in the railroad station and you can feel the rush of the trains pass by the building. There are flat-screen TVs all around so if you're wanting to a catch a game, they've probably got it on. Depending on the night a magician goes around making balloon animals for all the kids. It's definitely a family friendly restaurant. The food is pretty decent. They're known for their burgers which are generous in size. Service is always prompt. :)

I just had a burger here, but it has a good vibe in the place. I'd like to go back when they have live music. There was a small stage that I assume is what it's for. I will definitely return next time I am in Slidell.

The burger was ok and nice sized. Wheat bun was stale, it probably was sitting in the kitchen for a couple of days. What gets us is the kid's meal or the lack of it, kid's boxed juice was add'l $1.50 so we had to pay $7+ for a four year old's meal. Potato fries were good, salad greens very cheap blah. Probably not going back there again.
