Of all the bars we hung out at in Shreveport, I'd have to say that Straycat has my stamp of approval. It was clean. It was chill. Good tunes, touch tunes that is. Good selection of beers. And they had pizza. What more do you need? Now for the Touch Tunes jukebox, it alone could make me come back to a bar! Plus, now that I have the handy Touch Tunes app, I don't even have to leave the bar stool to choose my songs, worry about someone monitoring the amount of money I put into the jukebox, or worry about someone using my credits that I so foolishly spent unnamed amounts of money on. I'll warn you though, they do have all country music blocked somehow from being played. There's no way to even choose a country song. How is that possible?! Good for me, I like plenty of genres. The bartender did close earlier than the time posted, but I don't really blame her because we were her only whopping four customers. Granted we were drinking and ordering some DiGiorno pizzas. Yeah that's right, you heard me. DiGiorno. As in "It's not delivery, it's DiGiorno." Hey, at 2 AM when you're hungry, it tastes pretty damn good. Don't judge. So if you're looking for food late night, you can go get a toaster oven cooked DiGiorno pizza at Straycat.

As far as cool little dive bars go in Shreveport, this is the spot!! I just randomly walked in one day because my hotel was right next door. What a little treat. I'm in town working for the next couple months and to my surprise after I mentioned to a few friends that I popped in, I actually found out that this is truly the spot to come. Even better, next time I came I found they have a very sweet little back patio open on the weekends. Great place to have a drink and meet friends. However, if your hungry, not the spot. They serve frozen Digiorno Pizzas. And that is it. Actually perfect if you've had multiple beverages but not so much if your planning on a culinary adventure. Service is also a bit on the non attentive side. However, they are pretty nice once they actually take your order.

GREAT place to go after work. We just peeked our heads in here and had one drink before dinner so I need to go back again to see what its really all about but the 60 minutes we stayed here were great! We sat down at the bar and at first glance it seems that it is just a very small narrow bar with a few tables, decent atmosphere and what a super sweet bartender! (Shout out to Anna!) She got us a drink and saw we were from out of town when she check our ID's so she struck up a convo and found out what line of business my hubby was in and called a guy at the end of the bar over as he is in the same industry. That led to another 30 minute convo... just a cool, friendly atmosphere. Then we heard about the Court Yard in back and went to take a peek a that. It's pretty nice! Cant wait to go back and check it out when we have more time to spend here.

This place has a nice New Orleans style court yard. The Hollywood elite filming in town like to frequent here.

Cool atmosphere, nice bar, great selection of drinks, especially beer. The patio ambiance is the best! An occasional famous celebrity sighting too! Only part I hate is that grungy looking skinny bartender that has a cigarette hanging off his lip when he serves drinks, not very professional. Plus he is very arrogant. I should kick his ass after he gets off work. A few beers in me and that should kick things off. haha

Groovy dive. Creative cocktails along with all the standards. You can have anything you want to eat, as long as it's pepperoni pizza DiGiorno style. Until they run out. In all seriousness this is a moderately scruffy bar frequented by locals and whatever film crew is based nearby at the moment. But the bartenders are great, the atmosphere is jovial, and it won't break your wallet.

Very nice bar. Happened to go when it was fairly uncrowded just to have a pizza and a beer.. Or two.. with a friend. The bartender was very friendly, very good service. The drinks and pizza were great. I very much enjoyed my visit.

Great dive bar as far as dive bars go. Dim light, smoky, couple of TV's if you're trying to catch a local or ESPN televised game. Rather friendly bartender. Just the type of place I expect fellow yelpers to hate.

Nice Intimate little bar, next door to The Remington Suite Hotel...downtown Shreveport. While staying at The Remington Suite Hotel, we walked over to Straycat after dinner with a few friends of ours. We enjoyed the small cozy setting of this little bar. The music was great....the bartender was friendly & chatty. Straycat was a good ending to a FUN evening with some great friends!

I can't believe it is not delivery! Their frozen pizza tastes perfect even if you are sober! Drinks are okay, but it is nice because it is open late and has a fun patio. This is also where the drama happens in the Shreve. Ha! Only in Shreve...

I do my best to avoid the downtown bars, and this one in particular. Small and cramped, it fills to the brim on the hot nights, and there's no room to breathe or talk or swing a machete, but on slower nights--for example Sunday, when this is one of the only bars in town that will throw wide its doors to you and yours--it is spare and talking or even a breakdance contest can happen with minimum trouble. One can order a frozen pizza or play the golf game. The outside is surprisingly nice and the sky looks down on you from the roof that is not there. A bar for the kind of people who call each other bitches and laugh sour laughs. A good place for being in if you want to be out in the drunken places late at night. These are its strengths. Its weaknesses are legion.

If you like the downtown scene, it's a cool place. The crowd here is similar to that of Noble Savage. If you arrive before 10PM its a pretty laid back place to hang out with friends. As other places close for the night, this place gets pretty busy. I've seen Harold and Kumar as well as Ashton Kutcher in here in the past.

Dive bar with cheap (stiff) drinks, great music, and an outdoor patio!

This is "my bar"! I can always count on quiet, relaxing weeknights on the patio, and a good time on Friday and Saturdays nights after work with friends and colleagues. Stiff drinks, ice cold beers, hot pizza, good music, friendly staff and wonderful conversation has allowed me to make this my second home.

Small divey bar that is no frills but can offer a drink if you're staying at the Remington hotel next door. There are a couple tvs, and a couple gambling machines in the back. Other than that, there is a full bar with all the hard liquors, wines, and beer. The bartenders are all super nice, what you would expect with the southern charm. Downer is that they don't serve food. Well, they have frozen pizza and potato chips. Oh and I see a jar of olives so you might be able to score some of you ask nicely. Definitely recommend if you want a drink or watch a game. Food, noooooo!

Out of a lot of liquor to make drinks. Guy bartender is really rude every time we go. Otherwise, good place.

A hidden gem of a bar downtown. They have a great little outdoor patio that is New Orleans style attached to their building. They have a decent selection of beers, and I don't think they serve food, but they don't have beer on tap which is why they only get four stars!

I agree with most people's comments about this being a dive bar. That being said it is one of the cleaner dive bars I've ever been in. It also has more space then most places I consider dives. Drinks are strong and cheap. If you're staying at the Remmington it's a no brainer to get a few cocktails.
