I grew up in this area on Southern Maid Donuts. When Krispy Kreme came to town I mocked all the silly people raving about how good Krispy Kreme donuts are and how they waited in the long lines. Not only did I feel they were being traitors to our local traditional Southern Maid but it was my educated guess that they were inferior donuts. All those fickle people were just disillusioned by the glamor of the new kid in town with their towering Hot Light. With that attitude, it took me at least a couple of months to give their donut a taste. When I did, I tried it hot and I was blown away! I felt the humble humility that I so justly deserved. How could I have been so wrong? How many other issues could I be wrong about? I immediately realized I would have to meekly aplogize to my friends and coworkers who I had laughingly mocked for their Krispy Kreme addictions. When fresh and hot, Krispy Kreme original glazed donuts have just a bit of crunchiness on some of the outside edges and then melt in your mouth as though they are related to cotton candy. The flavor is heaven. Do not leave this world without experiencing them. Even if their glazed donuts did not reign supreme, this location would have my loyality. This place is managed with customer service as the priority. The employees are super nice and many really work at making the kids feel special. However what stands out most to me is this; I have been to several corporate sponsored events here and while most franchise locations of various companies tend to resent the losses they are incurring while giving away free food, this location goes overboard with kindness and generosity. For instance, on Talk Like a Pirate Day, not only did they give out the promised single donut to anyone that talked like a pirate to them and one whole dozen of donuts to kids that dressed like a pirate, they gave families with several kids dressed as pirates a dozen for each of their kids...yes sometimes a stack of boxes and they immediately handed an extra free glazed donut to them as they came in the store. And, while they are working at least twice as hard as they do on most days, they do it all with cheerful smiles and laughter. Reading on Facebook, as I suspected, not all locations were feeling the love so much. In addition, several of the employees were sporting pirate attire as well. It made for a great festive experience that both the kids and parents enjoyed FOR FREE. We even had an employee come over to our table and hand both of our kids boxes which contained donut decorating kits with several squeeze tubes of colored icing . I didn't even know they existed. The kids had a blast with those. So, choosing where I want to spend my money is an easy decision. The cons: 1) While their basic glazed donuts are made on site and available hot at many times throughout the day, their specialty donuts are prepared elsewhere and trucked in. I have tried several of their specialty donuts and while they are good and fresh, they are past that warm, just filled stage that screams at me to ignore the calories. Nothing beats a hot or warm glazed donut in my personal opinion. 2) As another reviewer stated, their machine that holds the rising donuts and delivers them into the hot oil does periodically break down but I have witnessed this happening at other donut places too. I personally have not had but a short wait for donuts after it is fixed. However, if it takes too long to get fixed, I imagine they have to toss all the risen donuts if they have set too long. I have seen them throwing away the 1st of the donuts when it resumes...they had even become stuck to the racks and wouldn't fall into the oil without bring knocked off. Donuts do use yeast and take time to rise before they can be cooked so I wouldn't have given a low review merely for having to wait unless it is a frequent occurrence. But hey, that's just coming from the guy that was humbled by being so wrong about how delicious these donuts are.

My 2 year old and I went there this morning. When we got there they gave us 2 free hot donuts. When we sat down I guess he was a manager but he brought my little girl a balloon. Then he gave us a coupon for a free dozen donuts! This man was so nice to us. We are now forever customers to krispy kreme donuts!

Terrible service. Never open on time. Rude employees that obviously don't care about their job.

Lord knows I shouldn't have, but I got 2 glazed doughnuts...while the HOT light was on! It was soooo good! Nice and soft... just super fresh! If I didn't feel super guilty, I probably would have gotten another! Lol The guy at drive thru was very nice too!

I can't really say I'm a donut connoisseur, but I'm definitely a donut fanatic. Ever since I first tasted Krispy Kreme in Jackson, MS, I was hooked. I can't pass up a glazed donut unless there are one of those sugary orbs filled with lemon custard. The staff is incredible as they are always helpful and patient when I look at all of the donuts only to get glazed. I know it's happened to you. It's like when my daughter looks at the shake menu at Sonic, and after exhausting the list she orders vanilla. I'm aware there are other donut establishments that may have more variety, but Krispy Kreme is consistent. I've never had a mediocre donut here.

It was my first time to come to this store and when I tell you the service was wonderful I'm not joking. We told them it was our first time here and they gave us a free donut. The donut was heavenly and I will definitely be going back!

Ran out glazed doughnuts at 7:30 AM. "Machine broke, but it is fixed now. 90 minutes to make more". Seriously?

I'm giving one star for tasty donuts and one star for the guy serving us in the drive thru being nice. We ordered one dozen donuts and one frozen coffee. We were waiting for our order to be taken in the drive thru for 15 minutes. After ordering, we got out donuts in about 5 minutes then waited another 10 minutes for the coffee. When the worker gave us the coffee, he said he just did the best he could. (He didn't know how to make the drink.) Overall, I was not pleased with this visit.

Probably would give 4 Stars but today when I went in I noticed they did not have any chocolate cake Donuts (my favorite). When I inquired, they suggested that they were discontinued. How do you discontinue chocolate cake Donuts?! I'm skeptical: perhaps they were temporarily out and the worker was misinformed...need to follow up on this crisis.

Ugh. Could somebody do me a HUGE favor? The next time I decide to come here, please act or react accordingly, 'cause apparently I'll never learn...Could somebody please jam on their accelerator and ram their vehicle into mine at full speed thus rendering my car inoperable in order to stop me from going through the drive thru of this place time after time and giving this place chance after chance only to be hugely, monumentally disappointed again and again? I just can't seem to help myself and an act of such a good samaritan would be greatly appreciated. Here's the most recent epic of failures through said drive thru. This occurred on a Saturday morning: I sat at the open window for seven minutes waiting on my order. What did I order?...A sweater, made of Alpaca wool and hand-knitted to my own size and specifications while I wait?...A copy of the impossible to find "Electric Dreams" on dvd?...A personal, live, up close, and intimate performance of Les Miserables?...No! I ordered three glazed and three chocolate doughnuts! That's it!...It took 7 minutes...and not in Heaven! And here's the coup de grace...Once again....They were out of coffee!!!!!! Regular coffee!!!! Out!!!! On a Saturday morning!!!! They only had dark roast and decaf! How?...How can you be out of regular coffee on a Saturday morning???? Please read my other reviews to see all of the other trials and tribulations that I have had with this store! And again...please...if you ever see or hear of me trying to go to this Krispy Kreme ever again, please act or react accordingly and do whatever it is that you have to do to stop me: Slice my car's tires, jump on the hood of my car, lease the infamous monster truck Grave Digger and crush my car into a pancake, form tackle me as if you were suddenly possessed by the spirit of Ray Lewis, pepper me with bean bag bullets, taze me, show me one of those 3 dimensional trippy art prints that they have at the mall, give me the latest goods on the most recent episode of Bar Rescue, give me some bubble wrap,...

If Krispy Kreme donuts were one of the major food groups as a separate entity, we would all be in trouble. Just kidding. I don't eat donuts often, but I cannot say no to a Krispy Kreme donut. I haven't been in here when it's crowded nor have I tried the drive-thru, but in-store service is quick, just like engulfing one glazed donut. My tummy hurts afterwards, but it hurts in a good way.
