Love love this place!!! Family oriented. And you can't beat their lunch prices for the quality and quantity of food.

I am not a sushi eater and did not try it. Ergo, this review does not consider sushi. First: The atmosphere: I like the decor. Though, you can't eat the decor. That being said, it does make a nice atmosphere. Servers: Very attentive and friendly. Most of my business is take out and they have been great to me every time. The food: The fried rice is great. I will buy it to take it home to mix in with my cooking. You can't beat it. The Hibachi experience: When you sit down for the Hibachi dinner, there are two things to consider: The food (the reason I go) and the experience. The chef at our tabletop put on a great show. There was the flinging of shrimp to see if you could catch it in your mouth, the jokes, the fire and the show. You can't beat it. The food was outstanding. I had steak and shrimp and the steak was cooked to perfection. The shrimp and seafood that was served in my party was seasoned well and it was delicious. Overall, this is a great place for hibachi (again, I can't comment on the sushi as I don't consume it). The take out is fast and friendly too.

This place is totally worth the money and time. The food is delicious and good service overall, the rice is a must for newcomers without a doubt. Variety of sushi and grill items, fish and other delicacies that one would require or expect at a Japanese sushi and grill restaurant. Good atmosphere, well lit in the open sushi bar and Japanese opened kitchen section. Good menu not too big. As usual people saturate this part of the city during the weekends between evening times therefore slowing service so if you're like me that likes a fast service then evade diner/supper times.

I have been here about 20-30 times. I love the sushi. I usually order the Alexandria roll, chef roll, or the crawfish roll. They are all so good. My favorite waitress was Shelly but unfortunately she no longer works there. Mandy is super nice too! I gave this restaurant 4 stars because I feel the staff doesn't really know anything about sushi, as in they don't eat it so they can't recommend to try something good. Shelley recommended all the time I guess that's what made her the best! I have not been going that often because I feel that some of the newer wait staff is rude and they don't listen.

Sorry to say but sushi has gone downhill. Last two times the presentation was absent and so was the taste. New chef? I gave them the benefit one week, but not the next. Off my list.

5 stars for their sushi! We ordered the rainbow roll and the chef's roll and both were amazing! Fresh seafood! The Gyoza appetizer was also really tasty. I posted pictures of them. We only had their sushi so I can't vouch for the rest of the food but their sushi is definitely one of the best I've had in shreveport! I will be coming back!

Fantastic meal! 4 stars overall on sushi but there were several 5 star dishes- seafood cucumber salad and miso mussels. Delicious! Fried cheesecake xangos were great too. Service was excellent! Phillip was extremely attentive from start to finish.

Rice was not that great and you better love eggs. There had to be 6 eggs in a serving. Teriaki steak was good. Jalapeño roll was ok but inconsistent one bit eats good next would set you on fire.

The food was, as usual, fantastic! I adore the shrimp and scallop mix. The fried rice was out of this World! I just wish their draft Japanese beer mugs were a sucoshl bigger.

Really good sushi and sashimi. Especially liked the striped bass and California rolls. Excellent service and friendly staff. Shrimp fried rice was good too. Nice atmosphere, great place for date night.

I've been here countless times now and the waitstaff know me pretty well so they're very friendly to me. That being said, I always tip their cute waitresses well so of course they're friendly to me. Pros: The sushi here is good, no doubt about it. The sushi chefs always take care in preparing it and making it look beautiful. The portions are good and fill you up fast. Cons: The quality of the ingredients they use for their sushi isn't the greatest. More so, the sushi tends to come apart easily, as if the sushi chef didn't pack everything tightly enough.

We went here tonight...the food was good. We had hibachi, I had chicken and scallops, he had chicken and shrimp. We also had sushi. We are Japanese food snobs...and sushi snobs, from so cal where we ate this kind of food at least twice a week. While its not quite like home, it was still the best we have had out here. The yam yam roll and volcano roll were very tasty. My scallops were cooked perfectly. The only thing that was a little off...I ordered a cherry Pepsi and it tasted weird so I just had a regular Pepsi instead. My 18 month old daughter was a little scared of the fire...but she loved the food, especially the noodles. And I am happy to report, if you saw the news report where the guy was crying over the peeing doll...they still use it. Lol.

After being underwhelmed with the hibachi and sushi choices in Shreveport, Hana has certainly been a breath of fresh air! My husband and I discovered this place about a week and a half ago and have been there twice since then. Great atmosphere, staff, and food! This is the best hibachi and sushi in Shreveport. Hands down. The hibachi chefs were more entertaining than other restaurants I've been to; for our table of late-20-somethings, they didn't resort to the stacked onion train or beating rice hearts stunts. Our first outing included the Jalapeño Roll as an appetizer with steak and shrimp hibachi. Everything was excellent. Our second included the mushroom soup, Jalapeño Roll (a big winner!), Jazz Roll, and Yam Yam Roll. Everything we had was wonderful, and we were even more thrilled when we received the bill! VERY reasonably priced!! AND to top it off, they have 2 for 1 beers...ALL beers, bottles and draft, domestic and imports! Not sure on the rules of this happy hour, but this special has been available every time we've gone so far. My husband and I will be moving from Shreveport in the next month, but we will certainly be back to Hana (once a week, at least!) to enjoy it until then! We definitely hope this place catches on in the SBC, because it is awesome!

I eat here every time I come to Shreveport. I usually get the beef teriyaki bento box for lunch. It is always yummy! Last night it was beef teriyaki with a california roll and a Philadelphia roll. All was excellent. Sweet tea was tasty. Waitstaff was attentive and helpful. I want to do the hibachi grill next!

I have been here twice for sushi and both times the sushi was fresh and delicious. The only thing I think they could improve on is how they construct the rolls. Some there was visable seaweed where there should have been rice, and the rolls fell apart for the most part when dipped in soy sauce. Good thing I am more concerned with taste. All of the rolls I ate were delicious, and priced reasonable compared to the various sushi places I've eaten at. The inside is nice and the tables are seperated far enough that you dont feel like youre having dinner with the people sitting next to you. Both times the service was good. This is the best sushi place I've been to in Shreveport so far.

I really wish 3.5 stars was an option. First and foremost, this is more or less updating on the food, not the service. Location was very clean, service very polite, near flawless in these regards. As can see from picture, the food is presented well, downright looks beautiful. However, the flavors this go round were seemingly off. Now, please don't be discouraged, it is fresh, that's not the issue, but more so the theme of each roll and ingredients used w/ sauces etc, just didn't mesh right with me. Most notably, the Hana roll, deep fried and may have been flavor from grease, not sure, just off. Again, prices are fair for portion size and menu boasts quite the selection. If anything, would like to see more fine tuning to create exceptional rolls versus a vast variety with ill-conceived flavors. As an avid sushi goer who has tried places galore, it stuck out enough to me to remember. Hana is definitely worth the trip, service/decor alone is A+

This place was absolutely delightful. Food & service is A+ rated. I've never eaten sushi before but it looked so appealing I had to try it & must say it was G-R-E-A-T!!! I wielded tell return here soon.

We came here to have sushi and we ordered six different rolls. All the sushi was fresh and was very tasty. Our server was very friendly and did a great job, keeping the water glasses filled, recommending the chef's favorite sushi roll, and accommodating with extra eel sauce spicy mayonnaise. Although we only ate sushi this restaurant seems to be a combination Chinese food and sushi. The place was clean, parking was easy, the prices are reasonable, and it was an overall good experience. If you enjoy sushi I recommend stopping in and giving this place a try.

Never had any complaints on their food. The wait wasn't long at all. Server was sweet and polite. Sushi and entree was fine wine.

We went there on a Wednesday night, place was pretty empty, but everything was great. Food was delicious, service was good, entertainment was nice (my mother and I had the hibachi). Very pleasurable experience.

I've ate here a few times and the sushi is good. I have not tried any of the steaks but coming here just for the sushi is well worth it. The menu is very large so I haven't had a chance to try everything on it but what I have tried is good enough for me to come back and reorder.

Wow, what a disappointment if you don't eat sushi. I order chicken teriyaki which was described as being chicken, veggies and rice. It was a breast of chicken COVERED in brown sauce and 3, count em' 3 cold vegetables. Not cool.
