I tried 5 Guys again on Youree Dr and it wasn't much better. The young man at the register wasn't friendly or attentive, he needs additional training or a new job. The bun was not as stale, but it wasn't fresh either, maybe just one day out of date. I sent the fries back because they were under cooked and limp. Much better on the second time around. If I had stock with this company and this was the norm at all locations, I'd dump it!

Five Guys is the BEST! I'm so excited that Shreveport can now claim ownership of such a delicious establishment. There are tons of burger joints in town, but this one is the best, in my opinion. The burgers are made to order, with whatever toppings you desire. The meat is juicy, the veggies are crisp and fresh, and the double-meat-with-cheese-between-the-patties grilling style is perfection. And then there are the fries. Golden brown in either original or Cajun style, and they don't skimp! You'll have more than you need when they top off your bag. YUM.

I heard when this place opened there was line down and around the building. I've been to five guys all over the country so it was the same standard, friendly faces, great grub! I wish they offered avocados and bbq sauce as a topping, I would have been in heaven.

We thought it was a good burger. Pickles were crisp. It was juicy and fast. Great service too! Note: "Regular" means large and "Little" means regular.

I am pumped about this soon-to-be-open location! These places are truly popping up everwhere, like mushrooms. Now, we'll have two to share between the two cities (Bossier and Shreveport)...I am sure this location will be super-slammed because of its' location. I am as equally pumped for this restaurant's new next door neighbor, Freebirds Burritos! Bring it on! Bring it! We can take it!

I didn't care for the fries. But the burger was great. My wife said it was the best burger she has ever had. Keep it up 5 guys.

Look, I'm no classy lassy: I would probably eat a hamburger every day of my life until I dropped dead, so I'm fairly easy to impress. This place has a machine gun nest of potatoes set up in front of the glassed-in front entrance, which gives the impression that you're eating dinner in a huge drained aquarium, and they have some very good burgers, especially compared to their rivals over at Smashburger. Their selections, in terms of toppings and whatnot, are somewhat limited, but the essential goodness of the food compensates. They give you a giant sack of greasy fries, just like the kind you ate when you were a kid and your grandmother made them, and you can even eat them with vinegar like you're Rudy Giuliani, if you want, and they have Cherry Coke in the soda fountain. However, there was a moth in the men's room when I went, so look out.

Holy crap... Where to begin. As far as the food goes, it's garbage. The fries are over-seasoned, soggy and have obviously been cut the previous night. The fact that the 5 Guys franchise prides themselves on their fries is just embarrassing. The burgers are somewhat decent but not worth anything near what they charge you for it. Bland, unseasoned frozen beef, american cheese (which I consider to be fake cheese), pre-made bacon and a squashed supermarket bun that gets soggy quickly from all the grease and condiments. If I wanted to spend $14 on a meal, I'd go to Monroe and get some gourmet burgers at Cheeburger Cheeburger. At least then I can get my money's worth as well as quality food. I went to this place twice. Once when they opened, and again today. I've been disappointed both times. The hype people have for this place just doesn't sit right. The cashiers aren't really friendly, but they aren't exactly rude either. Some of my friends enjoy this place, and that's fine. If I get a craving for a decent burger at the right price in the area I'll just go to Texadelphia or something. PS: after reading some of the reviews on this page, it's fairly obvious that half were written before actually trying the place and others seem to be sponsored for good reviews.

Maybe they used to be good. Maybe a couple years ago but... Over salted, limp fries, stale bun and DRY meat!! Stay away unless you like crappy food. Just sayin. YUKKY

Five Guys is always a pleasure as it is one of the few places everyone in my family can agree on. Seriously, I break out in a cold sweat for fresh cut fries. I hate splattering grease all over my kitchen, so I'll gladly come here to get my greasy fix. I'm aware that the burgers are merely adequate. This trip the patties were ultra crustified--they were perfect. That helps, but the burger still wasn't good enough to slap that proverbial mama. They are good, but I come for the fries. These fried fingers are always perfect. Five Guys must have some serious quality control because they are impeccably consistent. My ten year old and I can knock back a large fry. That's no small feat, but I usually wish I had a second order so I can completely gorge myself.

Let me echo the cries of the people... The food isn't cheap and you buy everything separately but it's a hell of a lot better than MacDonald's (emphasis on the Mac)... Granted $10-15 is exactly that $10-15... Could I get a meal at a restaurant for that price? Yes. But then again ... Sometimes you just want a good burger with fresh cut fries.
