Probably one of my favorite places to get anything from a turkey sandwich to a "one armed bandit" (muffaletta-ish). Owners are taking your order and fixing your food! I love them!!

Very nice owners. The outside doesn't look like much, but the inside is pretty impressive! I love the black and red; my two favorite colors. They have a "casino special" where you pick 3 meats and 2 cheeses, plus what ever condiments you want. great deal. comes with chips and a drink! the prices are on par with a sandwich shop as well. I had a veggie sandwich on wheat bread, and while it was very tasty, it was the size of a homemade sandwich which was a little annoying. I'd give this place another try, but it might be a while. Also it's almost impossible to get out of their miniscule parking lot if you're in anything over a midsized vehicle.

I don't know what it is about this place, but everytime I sit down and eat in this joint, I feel like I'm in a Tarantino flick. This place is also hip, like "Swingers"-Jon Favreau/Vince Vaughn, "You're so money and you don't even know it!" hip! This place is hip without even trying to be hip, and that's what makes it hip, ya dig? ATTENTION ALL LOCATION SCOUTS - This would be a great place to shoot a scene for a film! Seriously, I don't know what it is, whether it's the whole playing card theme, the black, the red, and the white decor, the age and authenticity of the venue (been around since 1979!) but I could also just imagine John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson, in black and white suits a 'la "Pulp Fiction", having a sandwich here and hashing out their next move. When you stop by, eat your sandwich inside the restaurant, and tell me you don't feel like you're in L.A. somewhere and tell me, you don't get that same vibe that I get. Coolness of the structure and location aside, it's the build and taste of the sandwich that has had people, including myself, strutting into this place through fashion trends and tragedies (Bell Bottoms. Parachute Pants, Acid-or-Stone-washed jeans with or without the tight-roll, and now the skinny-jeans) for decades on end. The place is very tiny and fills up quickly for lunch, parking is also at a premium, and I recommend either parking in the back of the restaurant, or in the parking lot of (right next door) The Tiki Bar and Grill, next to the fence, closest to the Deli. It is also much easier exit this way as well. When you walk into the restaurant, you can grab one of the white, pre-filled menus and design your own sandwich, or just verbalize the name of the sandwich that you want. They have 14 house specialty sandwiches. I recommend the "One Armed Bandit"-just about all sandwiches have a gambling theme. The Bandit is served on a kaiser roll with ham, salami, marinated olive mix and provolone cheese. The "Wild Card" has roast beef, smothered mushrooms, onions and bell peppers, lettuce and tomato and served with French Dip. They offer the "Reuben" on traditional rye bread or as a "Po Boy" on a French roll and of course, there are many other house sandwiches to choose from, all of them excellent! They are only open from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, so get here when you can, as soon as you can, daddio! They make every sandwich fresh to order here. If they are busy, it may take some time for you to get your food. It is well worth the wait, trust me! This is, it doesn't matter what you order from here, the BEST sandwich in Shreveport! You can "walk the Earth, like Caine on Kung Fu", but you won't find a better complement to two slices of bread, not here in Shreveport-the Hollywood of the South! The sandwiches here are like no other! I love this place!

I truly love a good sub sandwich. This place is a family run sandwich shop. The owners are the workers. Quality service and quality food. The place only seats about 15-20 people. But it is always a quality sandwich. All of the sandwiches are named after casino items or card hands. T love the blue chip (blue cheese and roast beef)

Food was great! Staff was amazing, and super friendly! Would have given it 5 stars, if the prices weren't so high. $30+ for 2 people to have a sandwich lunch, is as almost as high as a cats back!
