The service at this location is horrible. The waitress at the start when asked if we could provide two forms of payment for the check was confused. I ordered a salad and was the last person to get my food at the table.

I love Cracker Barrel! Always have such a great experience! Food is always delicious and waiters are always friendly! Would and will go back 1000 times. Wish it was a little closer, but totally worth the drive!

Cold eggs and gummy pecan pancakes, skip Sundays at this place for sure. Tried um from KY to AZ & NV, this is the first time I've had cold over cooked eggs, and gummy pancakes; Pitiful, just pitiful.

We went to eat breakfast and waited 40 minute's and breakfast was wrong. Waitress was socializing and not tending to her tables. This the worst I ever seen Other people were walking put too.

I would give this place five stars if it wasn't for the rude hostess who didn't seem to care about anyone's time but hers and was extremely unfriendly. That place could do without her. But the food was good and our server Bri was amazing and worked extremely hard. She was attentive despite being slammed. Five stars for Bri. Ditch the hostess.

This place should've put less money into their (albeit beautiful) landscaping and more into training their kitchen staff properly. We were greeted by a super nice lady as soon as we entered, waited about ten minutes to be seated, and then it went downhill. Our waitress, an older lady who was a "Rising Star" was very nice. She took our order, and then we waited. And waited. And waited. We sat there for over forty minutes with no food. We finally called over a manager who apologized then did nothing. When the people who'd been seated long after us received their food, we decided it was time to leave. #StillWantMyPancakes

Good restaurant right off the highway if you're in the mood for home cooking. The menu is large and they also serve breakfast 24-7 (you may have to ask for the breakfast menu during the day/evening). The waitstaff is usually pretty attentive and always (so far) polite. The biggest problem you will probably have with your waiter is waiting for your ticket after you're done eating. There is a gift shop at the entrance/exit of the restaurant that has lots of things to browse through before or after you eat. There are always seasonal/holiday items, tons of candy, candles, kids stuff, clothing, audiobooks for travelers and souvenirs for tourists. The prices in the restaurant are very good. The prices in the gift shop can get a little high. TIPS: * If you want breakfast but don't see any ask for the breakfast menu 24-7! * Biscuits or cornbread come with every meal. Sometimes they forget to bring them and you have to ask. * Their root-beer comes in a bottle so refills aren't free!

Absolutely terrible. Hostess looked around dumbfounded about where to sit us. After, she shut her phone off and put it in her apron. It was about 11:30 and we ordered breakfast. Eggs were ordered over medium. There were still raw egg whites and extremely runny yolks. Gravy was disgusting. Tasted very bland with a hint a something weird. Waitress seemed pretty friendly at least. There were other things wrong at other tables. Go to cash out, cashier looked extremely confused at the change to give me. Took her several minutes to figure it out even though the register told her how much to give me. This is why I don't go to Cracker Barrel. Never ends well. The boyfriend has never been and wanted to go. Now he knows why I don't like it.

Was seated in area with one other couple and waited about 10 minutes to place our drink and food order. Area started to fill with others receiving their orders. We waited about 50 minutes to finally have the wrong order delivered. Told them never mind and went to pay for the coffee we had. They did apologize and didn't charge for the coffee. Wasted an hour.

I've been an avid Cracker Barrel fan since college. I particularly like their breakfast, but I've eaten lunch there plenty of times as well. Since moving to Chicago, there aren't any in the city and when my sister, sister's bf, and grandpa picked me up from the Shreveport Airport, I was pretty excited to get some familiar yumminess. Epic fail. I should've gone for breakfast, maybe? but we all ordered lunch food and it was all disgusting. Literally nothing had any salt. Did they run out? Mashed potatoes, corn, dumplings, mac and cheese, etc. need salt to be edible. Honestly, most of us didn't finish our food and were pretty hungry an hour later. Most cracker barrels are deliciuos but you culdn't pay me to return to this one.

Probably the worst breakfast ever. Lumpy grits, cold gravy, and over cooked bacon. However, the friendly staff was some consolation.

Always enjoy eating here with family when in Shreveport. They dropped my plate and I had to wait another 15 plus minutes to eat after everyone else, making us late to our movie. Waitresses are not good about refills or service here.

Breakfast at Cracker Barrel is a must when my family and I hit the road. After departing Tyler, TX at 5:45 AM, we stopped at the Shreveport Cracker Barrel for the first roady breakfast of our summer vacation. As usual, Cracker Barrel nailed it with my Momma's French Toast Breakfast, my son's pancakes and bacon, my wife's bacon & eggs, and my daughter's cheese omelette. The biscuits were fresh and delicious and I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup. YUM!

Man I always try to visit Cracker Barrel on my trips for breakfast, but this location had such slow service. Our order was delivered in pieces. We got coffee cups and cream, but yeah, no coffee. Then half of our order was delivered. Then each of us 4 in a group were delivered a bit of our meal. Pretty pitiful. But as usual the food was delicious.

Cracker Barrel while traveling is a staple of the southern road trip. Scurry on down to the CB and enjoy vittles to your likin.' From Chicken fried steak to Harvest Strawberry & Chicken Salad to grits and biscuits and fried apples, Cracker barrel has quality southern fare that will warm your belly and make you feel like you're at grandma's. The fireplace as the dining area center piece complete with woven checkerboards for some friendly competition, you will feel at home. After your meal, scoot on over to the country general store where you can find everything from home decor to candy from years ago.

The last time I had the pleasure of sitting down for a homecooked meal like the kind they serve at Cracker Barrel, I was 17 years old. Ten years later, we arrived at the Crack Barrel in Shreveport, LA. And boy, was I ever grateful! Considering it was Sunday night, it wasn't so hectic, so our service was fast. Our waitress was nice and quick. She brought out some freshly made biscuits and cornbread, which was gone faster than you can mumble out 'Yum' in between bites. My Mom ordered the lemon pepper rainbow trout, and it was amazing how the meat would just fall off the skin. It was juicy and terribly tender. She was in seafood heaven. My Dad wasn't quite hungry, and was pleasantly surprised when he found out he could have eggs with whatever fixin's he wanted, made to order. My Husband ordered the roast beef, I didn't try it but it looked great. I ordered the meat loaf, with potatoes, corn and cole slaw. I was instantly comforted. The meat loaf was fresh, juicy and spiced just right. All in all, we left full and very happy. I'll definitely frequent Cracker Barrel in my neck of the woods more often.

They were handling a big holiday crowd with expediency and we were seated quite quickly. The food was cooked to order and delicious. The servers were okay. Store was clean and well-stocked.

This is by far one of my favorite restaruants. Sometimes it can be a little busy but they old time store is always sure to entertain me while I wait. They have the best hashbrowns and and biscuits. CHECK IT OUT!

Being that I live in Los Angeles I don't get a chance much to visit Cracker Barrel, but when I do I always like the food and the chance to browse the gift shop. I had dinner here my first night in town. The menu is so large that you always have a hard time figuring out what you want to eat. It's you're typical country/comfort food restaurant. You can find everything on here from chili and cornbread to ham with potatoes, meatloaf, etc. Some of the sides you get with the dinners include greens, okra, fries, mashed potatoes, and more. Breakfast is usually served all day too. And being that it is a southern based chain, you usually find grits as a side dish. Our waitress was friendly and busy serving a constant stream of customers at her four tables. We were there long enough to see some of the tables cycle through with different parties. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no honey at the table for my cornbread. I love to put honey on my cornbread. So I had to ask the waitress for some. I thought she'd bring out a bottle of it, but brought out two little packets. But it took a while for her to bring it out and I was getting so hungry for my cornbread that I began to eat it and almost didn't have enough cornbread for my honey. Two in my party ordered the chicken 'n' dumplings. They said the flavor was tasty and excellent, but lacked a thickness to the gravy. It did look a bit runny. Another person ordered the daily special which came with three vegetable sides and the choice of cornbread or biscuit. I ordered the ham with baby carrots and coleslaw and came with cornbread or biscuit. As I mentioned earlier, I went with the cornbread. The ham had a smoky flavor and a little sweet. So that was nice and tasty. The carrots were very tender, but didn't have a sauce or anything. The flavor was good because of the natural sweetness in the baby carrots. I ate my meal quickly and didn't really feel satisfied. I could have gone for a side salad or another vegetable side, but my dinner didn't come with it. I would have had to order it separately. My total bill came to under $10, which included the iced tea and tip. If you're looking for a home cooked meal, this is a good place to come. They can get busy, but that's because it's so popular. Oh, and for those who love iced tea, this place has it fresh brewed in sweet and unsweetened.

Having moved to the South from the west coast I have become spoiled by the wonderful service and awesome food that this chain is known for. So I was greatly disappointed by the slow service and inefficiency of the management to see the delay this was causing. My wife and I had to wait almost fifteen minutes before our server noticed we were there. She must have been new and was in need of additional training. The food was great but I would not be inclined to return to this particular restaurant in the future.

Always a fun place to eat. Great atmosphere and menu selections along with great tasting food. The only problem notice is the meals seem to be lukewarm by the time they are set in front of you. Would really love it if they came out of the kitchen piping hot and the wonderful smells rising to meet you.
