    I'm on travel - visiting Monroe LA for The first time. The carnivore and me needed a steak - and Longhorn was close to my hotel. I read some of the reviews and I was slightly hesitant to go, however, the Carnivore took over and I went. I'm glad I did. Being alone, I ate at the bar. The bartender, Joshua, was the only bartender on duty, and had his hands full with every seat at the bar taken - but he managed to take my order without me having to wait too long. I can honestly say that the service I received was as good (if not better) as I would have expected in the main restaurant. I ordered the porterhouse with a loaded Baker. The steak was served hot off the grill and was everything a porterhouse should be, perfectly cooked to a fine medium rare, the potato was nice and hot, and the Caesar salad was good - could have used a little more dressing, and the bread was delicious as always. I understand that Longhorn is not Morton's Steakhouse, and I don't expect it to be. That said, the steak was delicious, the service was great, and the price was right - I left happy and I would recommend it wholeheartedly. --- Went back a second time a few weeks later ... same good service, same good food.

    Been here twice and twice they told me they are out of prime rib after I ordered it. The first time I ordered it and they came back and asked if I can order something else which they gave me a 25% off the entire bill. The second time, they did not give me a discount at all. Overall all the steaks that I have ordered were overly salty and never prepared as you wanted to be. Not sure if I want to come back here again.

    I will never come there again. My food was horrible. My drink was water down and also I had my father wish was 102 years old with us and the food took forever. My steak was burnt and spinach dip was not hot.

    There was a 65 minute wait for my party of 6. Once inside and seated I immediately ordered 2 appetizers. As of now, 30 minutes later, they have not arrived. 3 of the drinks that were ordered were either unavailable, nor never arrived. I personally, am not impressed with the wait nor the service, for the price.

    One word......Awful Been to many other LongHorn Steakhouses around the country which were great, but this one is a disgrace to the chain.

    Sitting here now. The service is TERRIBLE!!! We have been here 15 minutes and haven't even seen a hostess. There were two groups ahead of us that left five minutes after we got here. The hostess is completely rude and wasn't talking just pointing at people waving them on with a menu. And then with a harsh voice and shrugged shoulders pointed at us and another group and asked who was first? It's very unlikely I will be returning anytime soon. I am so disappointed in the politeness and customer service this restaurant has offered tonight.

    Large group seated within fifteen minutes. Waitstaff was acceptable. Steak was cooked to order, actually very good. Tried the farmer or rancher steak, forgot what it was called but it came with a fried egg on top. The only thing good about it was the steak which was very good. Mixed drinks were below average considering the waitress forgot the correct order. The waitress was a spiky haired female.

    If it were possible to give a zero star review that's what I'd give. When the wait staff go off duty it becomes their job to clean up their respective sections. This means that you can be sitting trying to have a conversation with your dinner companions while having to listen to the racket of the sweeper machines working all around you. If you complain all you'll get is surly responses from the staff because this is what management makes them do. It gets even worse -- the management comes over and defends the practice and says every restaurant does this. Maybe every restaurant as bad as this one.

    Was in an adventurous mood one night and had the hawaiian ribeye with glazed pineapples as garnish. Surprisingly good. Good mac n cheese.

    There was a 5-10 min wait which wasn't bad. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. Took over 35 min to get our food and my steak was well done I ordered medium rare porterhouse steak. Turns out they gave me a well done t-bone which was quickly corrected. Because they gave me someones steak and not mines. The steaks was well seasoned, tender, and juicy. All in all I would give this place another try.
