Being a national chain, ranked #1 for highest Calorie per serving count, I went in with pretty low expectations; they still fell short of those. After making my way through a short novel of a menu (with advertisements for other businesses in it). I ordered The "Chicken and Biscuit." When it arrived, I saw mushrooms on the plate, and being allergic to mushrooms, I asked if there were any in the sauce. The waitress said "no" but my allergic reaction just minutes later said otherwise. I do not plan to return.

Being in the service industry can be tricky. As a former hostess, I always thought of my customer first, sought out their needs before seating, and performed an analysis on where they would prefer to sit. I'd give them options. I tried to group parties with children together. That was not what happened on that particular night. Perhaps it was an inevitable arrangement. However, I was surrounded by children. Not that I mind- but when they are loud & crying, it is not very pleasant when dining. That being said, the food was okay. We ordered a pasta dish & chicken tacos. The dishes were definitely large in portions as our wonderful server stated before we ordered. Which, although I forgot his name, he was absolutely the most pleasant part of our meal. I'm unsure if this was supposed to happen, but when the bread was brought to us, there was no silver in order to butter my bread. And it wasn't until after the meal was dropped to us by expo (moments after) that our silver was brought. Luckily, the wine was delivered in more than a timely manner, so that was fantastic. I do not believe I will be returning again unless it is to tell our server to find a different establishment.

I went here last night with 2 friends. We sat for a while and no server come to the table, so I just asked the waiter that walked by. He did get our water orders. The service is just awful. My friend wanted a Mai-Tai and said they didn't have the alcohol to make it. The waitress comes by with another gal that she was training. We ordered crab and artichoke dip. It was ok. They also brought fresh bread which was decent. I had the Fafalle pasta. It had peas. I am not sure why that was added. maybe for color, but could be left out. My friend got the chicken quesadillas. She said the guac was delicious. My other friend and tomato basil pasta she said it was ok. She took 2 bites and that was it. I will not be going back anytime soon!

Terrible. After the 40 minute wait on our food to told be they had messed it up, no manager came to check on us. Then after 1.5 hours I had to approach both manager and waitress inquiring as to where my check was, you would think they would have tried to comp a free app or take one of the wrong dishes off the check. Nope. Just got an attitude from BOTH. Avoid this place if you value your time.

2nd time at this location. Had the lower calorie (hard to believe at Cheesecake Factory) salad (under 590 cal) that was huge and excellent. Easy in/out for lunch at bar area that is first come/first serve.

Came for dinner today and was a little disappointed. Came in at 5:30ish and was seated at around 6:10. Waited around some more until our waitress came. Our waitress was super friendly bit food came out so slow. We finished bread and appetizers wayyyy before main entrees came out. For a Sunday dinner service, they were out of a lot of things. Our waitress had a giant list of things that they were out for the night. Pretty much everything that the table next to us wanted to order was out. It was pretty bad. Wanted to order the fried Mac and cheese but they were out. Settled for crab cakes. They were delicious! I wanted the chicken Madeira....but they were out. Got the grilled salmon instead and it was pretty good too. Friend got the biscuits and chicken and she said it was very good. Like "it came out of mamas kitchen!" And the portion was huge! Definitely a sharing meal. Grabbed an Oreo milkshake and a banana cheesecake for dessert. So so so good. Besides the incredibly long wait for food and being out of food, everything else was wonderful. Especially our waitress. Hopefully they can pick up the pace as it goes along and have better approximation on how much food they are going to need for each nigh. Can't wait to come back again.

I was surprised to see such low ratings for a Cheesecake Factory. In CA this is a go-to restaurant for any occasion. After coming for a work lunch with 6 people, I will never eat at this location again. Rude servers with no sense of urgency and cannot seem to multi task. One person in our party asked to have their app on a separate check. Of course they forgot to. And then they put my cheesecake on a separate check when I reminded to bring it out since I ordered it with my meal. Food was good but with such poor service I do not feel the need to come back. Plenty of other fabulous restaurants in NOLA that offer exceptional food and service.

Visited this location during the weekend of their grand opening. Had the Steak Diane and Shrimp Scampi combo. The wait was almost 1 hour for the entree however 3 of the locations big shots (I'm guessing managers and regional managers) kept visiting my table to assure me that my food would be out promptly without me calling them or suggesting that I had been waiting a while. I'm sure this convenience will end 2 to 3 months from now once the location isn't so new. The steak and scampi were fine (4stars) it was just alot of mushrooms! The service was fair for the amount of patrons in at one time since it was the lunch time rush. I must admit that the busboys are very meticulous keeping the tables spotless and giving great detail to how they arrange flatware on the table. I just honestly hate how all the franchise locations don't put the silverware on plates or napkins, but directly onto the table.

Went on the second day of their grand opening! It is definitely nice to have a Cheesecake Factory in town. Inside is huge! Very nice interior. Nice bathrooms, very clean. It was VERY busy, but everything went perfect. Server was nice, did everything right. I had a calamari appetizer and fish tacos. Boyfriend had chicken and biscuits followed by a DELICIOUS fresh strawberry cheesecake. The calamari appetizer was very yummy and my fish tacos were okay, but I enjoyed his chicken and biscuits dish more. There are over 200 items to choose from! I will definitely be back to try more dishes AND more cheesecakes! Pricey, but that won't scare me away!

I had to give them a positive review, because I have read so many negative ones and we truly had a great experience. We arrived for lunch, right at 11 when they opened, and were seated right away. Our drinks and appetizer (fried Mac and cheese) came out promptly and was delicious! Our entrees took about 20 minutes, but were very good. The Luau salad was great, and my mom had the Kobe burger which was fantastic. All in all, it was a great and I am excited to go back!

My initial visit was horrible but I have visited this restaurant a few times afterward and I have had nothing but great service. I visited this afternoon for Happy Hour and I actually enjoyed myself more than I have in past visits. The happy hour is from 4-6 on weekdays and it offers discounted drinks and meal specials. I had the factory burger and crab bites. The food was wonderful. My only negative is that I hated my margarita. It was too sweet and weak in reference to alcohol. My other drinks were wonderful. Service was prompt and effective. I highly encourage people to give this place another chance. It seems as if they finally have their act together.

Came here for dinner on a Thursday night and we were seated immediately. The service was okay and the food quality was mediocre. The moment I looked at the menu I thought it was too large, and knew they would not be able to produce a quality meal. More options rarely means fresh and quality food or ingredients. It typically means the food has been frozen or prepared days in advance, and that's just the type of food I recieved. I ordered the chicken and biscuit which was very bland and the chicken was fatty. I couldnt force myself to eat it, so I brought it home to my English Bulldog since I didn't want to completely waste my money. I had a slice of the Tiramisu Cheesecake which was pretty good, but completely overpriced for a piece of cheesecake- Whole Foods sells an entire Tiramisu cake for about the same price as a slice of this cheesecake. I won't be visiting this restaurant again.

Haven't been here in a while and know why. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and when we left no one was being seated. Could this be because there wasn't anything left on the menu? Why be open if you can't get anything you want to eat? The server had to carry a list with her of what wasn't available. The manager came out to apologize and said something about the truck being short? They had to go to the store? So is this why when I finally ordered "a hamburger" it came out 40 minutes later without any tomato and with a soggy bun? We usually sit at the bar but decided against that after waiting 10 minutes to be recognized. I think corporate needs to take a look at the management of this restaurant.

Simply terrible. Food is great, staff is horrible and wait time is enormous! We eat out all over the Usa while traveling in business. I don't recall ever having an experience as bad as this one!!!!

Cheesecake Factory is my favorite place to eat typically anywhere I go- but this one, eh. My food was fine, I get the same thing every time, but the staff was awful. I wanted to place a Togo order and I was on hold for 15 minutes. The hostess who took my call named Dejah has the worst voice and 0 customer service skills. She truly shouldn't be doing her job. I went in to place my Togo order and the girls at the cheesecake counter were so caught up in their personal convo that I waiting as the first in line forever! I heard them cursing and hackling with each other. Awful.

The cashew chicken was very good and the serving size was generous. But the highlight of my evening here was the red sangria. The waiter Errol warned me of its deliciousness I thought he was upselling. But he was looking out! I could bathe in that stuff!

This place is ok at best. The service was slow and the drinks were watered down badly. The cheesecake was amazing but this place has got to step up its game on the resturaunt part.

Came here for Sunday Brunch and didn't know what to expect. Waited around for 45min to get seated but, worth the wait see definitely. Brunch is Great and I definitely suggest you make Reservations ahead of time if possible. Great for both dates and family atmosphere. I'm going back for sure. Service is great, seating is comfortable, only negative I saw was the wait!

First time ever eating Cheesecake Factory, my boyfriend and I enjoyed it! Got here at rush hour, with a couple of family waiting for a table, hostess told us it was a 10 minute wait and we can leave our phone number and they'll text us when our table is ready. Waited less than 10 minutes. Sat down and our waitress is extremely nice. Ordered Fried Mac & Cheese bites & Louisiana Chicken Pasta. It was both delicious to me. My boyfriend loves the Mac & cheese bites, he thought the pasta was a little hard. I like this place, service is great, food was good, decor is nice, and music was good

Saturday night with excellent service and excellent food. For a party of 2 we did not have to wait for a table at 7 pm. Food and beverages came out at reasonable times and were fantastic. We ended up purchasing 6 cheesecake slices to take home to family members who loved their prizes. Great experience and was worth the hour and half drive there for the food (we are from biloxi, ms)

What's with all the negative reviews? This is how TCF has been operating for 30+ years. When we lived in NY it was the same story. You can't just decide on a whim to come here, unless you want to wait an obscene amount of time. If you're a larger party it's going to take even longer. The later you go the less stuff they'll have. Don't feel like waiting a long time for a table? Go sit at the bar or the high top tables near the bar. At least this was an option while living in NY. Sounds like Copelands is sending in some negative reviews ;)

Worst CF experience ever! We were seated for 20 minutes before anyone came to greet us or take a drink order. Two tables around us finished their meals and we were still sitting without service. When Monique finally approached our table she stated she did not see us sitting there! Although she was waiting on the other tables around us. The manager Jason Lopez did not offer help. We decided to take our money elsewhere. Very disappointed!

DO NOT ORDER EVELYNS FAVORITE PASTA!! Sorry, but I had to put that out there first. I have been here twice. 20-30 minute wait both times. The first time was for my birthday with my bf. We waited by the bar and ordered frozen drinks while we waited. Delicious but not very potent. Seating: I hate the seating! The lighting is intimate but the seating is not. They have everyone seated so close together, I could hear the people next to us smacking their lips as they ate. We were seated next to a group of cackling hens. At the table: They serve nice warm bread with pats of butter first. We order mac and cheese balls for appetizers. I have to say that was so good!!! I made the unfortunate mistake of ordering Evelyns favorite pasta. Its like a mixed pasta with veges in it. I actually gagged at the first bite. Thinking maybe I probably needed to stir it up some, I took a second and third bite. It tasted even worse. I told the waitress how awful it was and she was very accommodating. I was allowed to order something else (and agreed that that dish was just nasty). Meanwhile, my bf was chomping on his KOBE BEEF BURGER with swiss. As I waited for the waitress to return with the menu, my bf looked like he was enjoying that dang burger way too much. So I asked him for a bite. This burger was yummy...wait let me say that again...YUMMY! It was big enough for two. So when the waitress finally came back with the menu, I said "I already know what I want! I want exactly what he's having...except with sweet potato fries!" Well, we were full off his burger and just took mine to go...which ended becoming his lunch for work...kobe beef lunch. Must be nice. Yaaaaas, thank you, it was. Anyway, we couldn't get that kobe beef off our minds so we decided to go back a second time... with a game plan. It seems their servings are ample enough for two, so I find the prices somewhat reasonable for the amount of food you get. We got seated in a different area but it was still too close for comfort. Im beginning to believe that the dim lightning isnt for ambiance, but so you dont see the people next to you chew their food! We got the same sweet waitress and I was straightfoward, " We're gonna split a kobe beef burger and a cheesecake." Just like that. She even gave me an extra plate for my half. I filled up on that dang bread they serve in advanced. So when i got my burger, I couldn't even finish half of that half...bummer. (Not for him, though. He ate the rest.) We sat around talking, letting the food digest and then ordered BANANA CREAM CHEESECAKE. Im glad we only ordered one, bc that sucka was big. It was good, but we were hoping the banana slices were in it...not around it. It also had ALOT of whipped cream with it. Whipped cream is good. Heck, it's great!!! In this case, it only serves to fill the empty spaces on plate...which is ok. Overall, the food is pretty good. If you dont like it, they will accommodate. (That doesnt mean eat half way through the dish you didn't like!!) The server we had was very nice. Pricewise... I would say it would have been worth it if I wasnt surprised and dissapointed with it being a 'nice..but not really' restaurant. The atmosphere is set up to give you higher end expectancies, but the crowd and seating are not what you get. I go in there dressed for a nice evening out and there is a mish mosh of heels, work shoes and flip flops walking around. It's off putting. My friend had to remind me that CF is attached to a mall so I should expect the mall crowd to show up. Oh and did I mention..don't order Evelyns Favorite Pasta and seating sucks. Yes...I just wanted to make sure. That's why this place gets two stars...GET IT TO GO.

Where do I start? I've been here twice since it opened in Metairie and plenty of times when I was out in other states on business trips. My first time here was when it opened and it was good! My date and I were promptly seated and my waiter was really nice! Mind you we went at around 4 pm. I had an okay experience. Food was a little pricier than I remembered but, what the heck? There's complimentary bread slices with cold butter- who the f does that?! If you're serving bread, make sure it's room temp. I ordered the Southwestern Eggrolls, buffalo wings and a burger- don't remember which one (wasn't that memorable). I established that I liked the place enough and would come back with friends to have them try it. 2nd time we went was on a Friday night. Dear sweet baby Jesus was that the worse idea ever. We got there early...and I mean early at 6:30 and get this... We didn't get seated until 8 O'FREAKING CLOCK! It was only 4 people, mind you. Okay whatever, I had a good time catching up with friends We were sat at the veryyy back. Literally the window overlooked a brick wall. Our server, bless her heart, was an Indian girl for whom I could not, for the life of me understand. I felt so incredibly bad because none of my friends or my date could understand what she was saying either and had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times. So, 15 minutes in, we still didn't get our drinks. The waitress finally comes back, gets our drink and finally our orders... We wait. And we wait. And for goodness sakes, we wait. It's now, oh idk, 8:35 ish and she comes back to tell me that my entree is out- seriously?! I pick something else, French Dip sandwich I think? Who cares, whatever... During this whole escaped, we see 2 separate tables being seated... One was a large group of women, about 6-7 seated at a round table next to us, another 4 party group, seated a little farther from us.. Well, it's now been about a 45 minute wait and our food has still yet to come out and our waitress has yet to check on us. BUT, OHHHH, the 2 tables that were seated much after us received their drinks, apps and entrees before ours even came out. WTF?! Literally at this point I wanted to just walk out of the restaurant, but I figured I waited this long and I didn't think my friends and date would have done the same. Lol. Finally, it's pushing close to 10pm and we get our entrees. Never again will I go here. We ordered 2 macaroni burgers, French dip, and a breakfast omelet combo. No one enjoyed their food and we were all pretty tired from waiting so long to eat an overpriced, sub par, chain restaurant. By the time we left, we had seen our waitress about 3 times. Once for drinks, second it take our orders and 3rd to give us our check. The runners brought our food out... Oh, and for clarity, we left the restaurant at around 10:45. The worst dining experience I've ever had. You do the math on how long it took for this subpar meal to end. Hint, it was +4hours Please, please, please, don't waste your money here.

Ok first off, I have been to plenty of Cheesecake Factories in California. So, I know what to expect from them. That being said, this location seriously needs help. Get some new management and staff pronto because this place running at it's current rate is completely unacceptable. I really wanted to leave a positive review since there are so many negative ones and I hoped to give them a chance. I seriously can not give a positive review after our experience yesterday though. We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with a total of 4 in our party. We were given a wait time of 40 minutes. Every other location I have been to always has a long wait as well, so I already expected that. They are just a popular place and always have a crowd. What I was not expecting though, was the inepptitude of the host staff. There were at least 4 of them "running" the front desk and they seemed to be unprepared at the overwhelming process of all the people. When our 40 minutes passed by, we went up to make sure we had not been forgotten. They said we still had 4 groups ahead of us. It took at least another 15-20 minutes before we were actually seated. One person took our drink orders. My table all ordered water, except for me. I ordered their iced tea. The iced tea alone is one thing that draws me to the Cheesecake Factory. They serve Paradise brand Tropical Tea and it is one of my favorites. Our "server" showed up a bit later. I use the term server loosely here because this guy's future actions depict him more as just a "player" looking to pick up phone numbers from women at other tables. He had no interest in conducting the duties of a server...mainly delivering food. He had his flashy watch and tie and seemed to spend the whole time we were there hanging out a couple tables away with 2 other women, just socializing the afternoon away. We gave him our order and asked for our comlimentary bread, which should have come out with our drinks and had not. He never did bring the bread. We had to ask someone else passing by. I had ordered the Avocado Eggrolls as an appetizer. Some other person brought that out. The Avocado Eggrolls are always a favorite and they were just as delicous as I had remembered them. After some time passed, yet another person brought out 2 entrees for the other couple we were with. They were starving and said they wanted to start eating rather than wait for our entrees to come out. We understood and that was fine. My boyfriend received his entree yet from another different person. I never received my entree. We never did see our "server". The other couple we were with started having doubts about their meal. Their pasta was supposed to have chicken in it, but it didn't have any. Our "server" finally showed up about 10 minutes asking how everything was. I said well, I never received my entree. He didn't seem to care much. Nor did he care that the other 2 people in our party were missing their chicken. He instead argued with them and said they must have ordered the wrong dish. He told me he would go see what was up with my missing salmon. We also asked for a refill on our bread. We never did get any. We asked 2-3 times over the course of the entire event, and he never brought any at all. When we looked over to see if he was finding out about my missing entree, he wasn't checking on my missing salmon, he was over hanging out with the women at the other table again. My boyfriend had to try and flag him down again. I told him to just forget the salmon, that by the time he ever would get around to bringing it, I would just need to take it home. I just finished the Avocado Eggrolls instead. We were never offered any drink refills by anyone. I had to wave down busboys a few times to help us out in that department. No manager ever came by to apologize for the missing meal. Looking back now, we should have demanded to speak to the manager. At that point, the "server" just wanted to get rid of us. I guess we were interrupting him too much from his women. He wanted us to just pay and leave. We said we would like to have some cheesecake. He begrudgingly took our order. The cheesecake was very good as I remembered it to be. I know this place has been open for over a month, and yes they may still be trying to figure things out. But, you can't have this kind of horrendous staff "working" there. Please hire some professionals who are actually interested in doing work. We won't be coming back here for quite awhile I'm sure. We might get take out and see how that goes, but it's doubtful. I'm thoroughly disappointed with the place. They do have good quality food, but the service is the pits. As for the prices, they are on the higher side, but they do serve large portions. The entrees are usually large enough to take the leftovers home for another meal. In my case for yesterday, I was not given that option since I never received my meal.

We went in and the hostess was friendly and seated us quickly. Our waitress, Sarah was excellent. Didn't take long for her to come and take our drink order which she kept filled the entire time. Food came out in a decent amount of time and was delicious. My husband's steak was cooked perfect and my bang bang shrimp and chicken was superb. I can't say enough about how friendly and attentive Sarah was. Contrary to the other bad reviews I see here, our experience was wonderful. Definitely going back. Have many more dishes I want to try.

This was our party of five's first first to a Cheesecake Factory. Having heard so many good things from friends visiting the Nashville store, we decided to give it a try in NOLA. What a HUGE disappointment. First an hour wait for a table - to be expected for a party of five on a Friday night. We were then overwhelmed by the size of the menu - first red flag! Any restaurant that tried to do everything, does little very well. But we quickly ordered the fried mac and cheese balls for an appetizer. They were very good. Our entrees were huge, but terrible. I had the bang-bang shrimp and chicken. All I could taste was toasted coconut. I even tried pushing the coconut to the side, but then the shrimp and chicken was bland - not the curry flavor I was hoping for. I could not eat it. My husband had the Spicy Chicken Cashew. All he could taste was heat, but little flavor. If fact, it did not even taste fresh. One son got the Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta - again heat, but very little flavor. My daughter had the Margarita Pizza. The flavor was OK but it was room temperature when brought to the table. All four of us could not eat our meals. The only one that did eat the entire entree was my other son that got the Grilled Ribeye Steak. I will say that our server was great and immediately got the manager when he saw that four of us had barely touched our meals. The manager had no personality. Made no apologies except to say that people either love or hate the bang-bang shrimp. Why serve something that so many people end up hating??? But he did not charge us for the entrees not eaten. Bottom line, go for appetizers and cheesecake, but skip the cafeteria quality entrees. Signed, Our first and probably last visit to any Cheesecake Factory.

Terrible service. Just terrible. We did not receive any silverware whatsoever for literally 23 minutes after we were seated. App was cold (it sat there while we waited for silverware.) It may have been better hot. Maybe not. When we finally got silverware, there was only one spoon and a knife was dirty. Really dirty. As in the sauce still on it from last person. Napkins came ten min later. No joke. Fries tasted like gross fried fish. This is usually a result of dirty frying oil. Awesome. Pasta was ok. I didn't say it was good. Sandwich was way overly toasted. Some would call that "burned". Like me. And you. I'm tired of reliving how bad the experience was, but I must include this comment: for 80 bucks (we tip well) for dinner for two, we didn't enjoy a single bite. Not one. I should have learned years ago that just because a place is busy doesn't make it good. Or even passable.

Good opening day. Great for business lunches to impress clients. The portions are huge. The waitstaff still needs gone tuning but it was the first day and it was really busy. Hostess were extremely nice. The decor and the menus are fancy. Plenty of seating. It's like any other one, but at least we have one here now. The happy hour deal is great. Still it's a bit on the expensive side. I think I made the first check-in and review.

I'm not the biggest fan of chains and generally I think in the New Orleans area we can get far superior food at a much better price than most national chains can provide. It has been several years since I last ate at a Cheesecake Factory so I caved in and gave the new Metairie location a try (mainly because I was hankering for some cheesecake). I've eaten at quite a few Cheesecake Factory's across the country from Nevada, Texas and Georgia and they are all pretty consistent as you would expect a chain to be. As a chain comparison the Cheesecake Factory's food and ambiance is better than an Applebee's but less so than a Houston's. My theory on chains was proven as for my lunch portion of the shepherd's pie, iced tea, and a cheesecake the cost was $25 so I could've just gone to Commander's for a way better experience at a comparable price (that would've also included 25 cent martinis at Commander's so that bonus blows Cheesecake Factory out of the water). The shepherd's pie was a hamburger patty broken up into the gravy and vegetable mix with mashed potatoes put over the top and while it was ok it was one of the least flavorful shepherd's pies I've ever had and probably one of the least well executed dishes that I've ever had at a Cheesecake Factory. I had the chocolate mousse cheesecake and it was decent but I've definitely had better cheesecake locally and from Whole Foods. The real price shocker is that the iced tea was nearly $3 which is ludicrous for plain unsweetened tea. Their are some definite positives here as they do have a very large menu with a selection of items that should make most people happy. The staff provided great and friendly service and were literally tripping over each other providing attention to my needs. Clearly their reputation has proceeded them and there is frequently a large line waiting to be seated at this location as at many of their locations I've seen around the country. Other than the wide selection of cheesecakes and some tasty burgers I'm not sure what would really draw me here on a regular basis and put up with the crowd. Personally I prefer the food at local establishments and find that at the Cheesecake Factory's price point I can have far better dining experiences elsewhere. The good news is that now out of town tourists and suburbanites can now have a place to go to and leave my local gems unsullied by their uncouth and overly casual habits so I hope they enjoy waiting in their line.

I have been here a few times. I have not gotten anything bad or anything I did not like. I usually find a couple of things on the menu then ask the wait staff their opinion. Which helps in the decision making since there is a large selection. And its always nice to know the staff is knowledgeable. Polite staff, clean and delicious food,No I not going to talk about the cheesecakes or deserts! Because that's my little secret and I'm not sharing. Shhhh!

In an attempt to give this new restaurant a fair shake I've eaten here three times. my conclusion at this point is that the managers have hired mentally retarded people as hostesses. When they are not distracted by something shiny or talking to each other about their hair while a line of people wait, they stare at you like a deer in headlights if you destroy their world by requesting a particular empty booth that isn't adjacent to the Tyler Perry family reunion. the menu is so ridiculously full of every conceivable type of food item under the sun, it makes you wonder if they've got a food replicator from star trek in the back. and what is up with this bread and frozen packaged butter? on the plus side, if your 17 year old daughter is finally looking for her first job, have her apply here. it appears cheesecake factory has a waitstaff with zero prior food service experience so she has a great chance of being hired. regarding the decor, this place has all the charm of a Roman bathhouse.minus the nice acoustics. as far as the food, the portions are good, the food appears to be fresh and we'll prepared.. theres nothing special here though.. typical Jack of all trades master of none except for the cheesecake which is debatable... ultimately this is 'mall food' but not in the same class as pf chengs at the other end. people who like outback, olive garden, cracker barrel or red lobster well find the place acceptable if not a tad pricier. in New Orleans this chain will be subject to higher scrutiny. the boh looks to have their act together, but not the front.

overall this was a pleasant experience for myself. the fried macaroni cheese balls were pretty freaking awesome. as well as my macaroni burger and my husbands stuff chicken tortillas. however my friends steak was very undercooked (which is fine), but the second time it came out it was still undercooked. the manager of the evening (Rick) was quite awful. he was very pushy and just unprofessional. he made the whole table deeply regret dining here for my husbands birthday. however the waitress was kind enough to send over Shannon and she was extremely pleasant. she has a very professional demeanor with a guess focus attitude. we will definitely return and recommend this particular cheesecake factory.

Cheesecake is big portions and any flavor imaginable. Food is ok, drinks were good. Service was horrible. Our waitress took forever with everything that the manager had to come over twice to get us things. She was also very rude. Overall, I would definitely get cheesecake to go but will not dine in again.

Came here for late dinner (after 10pm). Bathroom was disgusting & out of toilet paper. Two of the menu items that I ordered were not available. Pretty slow service. Food was fair. Cheesecake was the only good thing here. Used restroom before I left, still disgusting. Tried to wash my hands & there is no longer water running in the bathroom. This place is awful.

first time ever coming here, the hostess forgot about us.. we ended up waiting over two hours watching countless people being seated before us until I got up & reminded her. she didn't apologize. she simply said "oh". once we were sat, the waitress handed us dirty silverware. we asked her to replace it. she did .. but with another set of dirty ones. the food was fine. definitely not worth the wait. we received our bill shortly after our food. it was like we were rushed in and out. if they wouldn't rush so much, maybe their silverware would be clean, and their customers would be happier. months pass, we decide to try to give this place another shot. giving them the benefit of the doubt--maybe it was just one bad night. WRONG. we were sat right away this time. the waiter took our order for our beverage. my water was warm and had maybe four cubes of ice in it that melted. the table felt sticky. we waited about an hour.. watching other people receive their meal while we didn't even get bread! my salad was actually decent. the greens and the seasoning were fresh; however, the croutons were soggy. the waiter maybe appeared two or three times during our fine. once to take our order, once to give us warm water and food, then once to give us the bill. it took a good 10 minutes to get his attention for a to go box. after the second chance, I think that it's safe to say that we will not be returning here. the service is mediocre and the food doesn't make up for it. come here if you want to be rushed for the bill and feel like a burden.

We were greeted upon entering this establishment. Put on the waiting list with our phone number so we can recieve a text when table is ready. I like that! I always lose that black pager thing. Rather than wait to be seated on this busy night of National Cheesecake Day, we opted to stroll to the bar and take our seats amongst the ever drinking crowd. Mind you, I got Strawberry Creamsicle which comprise of purée strawberries, vanilla icecream, vodka and amerreto. Topped with a whipped topping and a whole strawberry! Like a spiked-up milkshake! Yummy! For my meal, I went with a Grilled salmon with mash potato and broccoli. Sure I could have gotten it from the skinnylicious menu with would be fish and vegatables (tomatoe and green beans) but nah...I'm out and about already... Might as well get something good. Salmon was good and doesn't lack flavor esp after the squirt of a lemon wedge! Love homemade mash potato but no gravy. Broccoli was bland but when eaten with the salmon, it balanced. We didn't receive bread which was sad. But I got cheese cake for half price and took them home! Yay!! Will update on the cheesecakes I ate lol. Be back for more cheesecake later!

place is gorgeous on the inside, however we waited and hour and fifteen minutes because the host forgot to buzz us... manager was very apologetic and offered a free appetizer... our server was very nice but the food was just not good, in my opinion. it was bland, the pasta was hard , just not a good food experience. the server was great, even though it seemed everyone had plenty tables to tend to, she did a good job.

I am not a fan of mega-chains like this but I decided to give it a try with two friends. I ordered the crispy spicy chicken sandwich which came with fries. They bring you two types of bread with butter both of which were pretty good. Our server was attentive and we never had to ask for anything. She was funny as well, several times we heard plates crashing and she was like 'it wasn't me' she was just fun. One thing that I am still unable to wrap my mind around is the fact this place has a 21 page menu! That was not a typo----21 pages!! This made choosing what to order more than overwhelming and when I see places with such giant menus I can't help but assume there is no way a restaurant is going to do that many things well. I mean, I feel like these type of menus are all about pleasing the pants off everyone in the universe verses (like I said) making every single dish amazing in its own right. I prefer places that have smaller menus that do what they do on a smaller scale but that do everything really really well. On to the food. The presentation was well above average for a mega-chain. The sesame bun was fantastic and the plate just looked really nice all around. They give you some blue cheese dressing on the side and it was just ok, nothing amazing. The sweet potato fries were great and they were presented in a little metal canister with wax paper which was a nice touch. I did not order cheesecake because I pretty much don't like sweets of any kind. However my friend is a cheesecake aficionado and he really enjoyed himself. All in all it was not a bad experience, I was actually surprised at how good the chicken sandwich was because I really enjoyed it. This place is basically Chili's on steroids.

Service: Awesome. Our server was on top of everything and was really friendly. She made the whole experience a pleasure. Food: Just fine. Since I knew I was gonna order cheesecake, I ordered the Seared Tuna Tataki Salad. It came with a bed of greens with some dressing that was pretty good, with some avocado that was clearly past its prime. The pieces of tuna it came with were seared perfectly and were spice crusted-I could really taste the spice, which was a nice surprise. The brown bread they give you is delicious! LOVED the Salted Caramel cheesecake, with its multiple layers of caramel goodness atop a blondie ('MERICA), although cheesecake here only happens a couple times a year: their cheesecake is beyond decadent, with many slices exceeding 2000 calories by themselves. I'm not making a special trip out to Metairie for the Cheesecake Factory, but it's a decent choice for a restaurant near Lakeside.

Not a bad place if you're not exactly sure what type of food you're craving for. Lots to choose from. Leave with a satisfied feeling but nothing more. No "oh wow!" moments.

This is the worst cheesecake I have ever experience and believe me I have had Cheesecake from Hawaii to LA and all in between. The service was lack luster and I order soup-Clam Chowder-Flavorless, coarse base texture and an insult to Clam Chowder, my favorite soup. Main Shrimp Scampi-I have ordered this dish coutless of times over the years. It typically is jumbo shrimp scampi sitting upwards around the plate with a bundle of pasta in the off center of the plate dry, Angel hair. This dish came to me looking like soup. It had zero flavor just like the soup and served heavy sauced and sloppy. I was just working in Sephora that day and a cast member never had Cheesecake Factory and I raved to her about the consitancy and great ness of them all. Needless to say when I came back I told her it was not on point. The way I see it is this is my punishment to be eating Cheesecake factory in the city with the best food in the world originated. COME ON NOLA GET IT TOGETHER.

3.5 Stars Well, the service is excellent! Some of the entrees are amazing. I've had the Kobe Beef Burger and it was very delicious. Juicy, thick, and seasoned well. Also I've had the Shepherd's Pie which is omg amazing. However, I will forewarn you to look up the nutrition facts of each entree. Apparently these dishes were made to be separated into two different meals, meaning the calorie count is skyrocket high. The restaurant itself is beautiful and I felt very comfortable here. Overall decent experience.

Wow! I've never been here before, and I can't wait to come back. I wish I came on a empty stomach because the cheese cake was... mind blowing. And the amount of flavors they have.. amazing! I had no idea they had real meals like breakfast and lunch, and a full bar. I didn't need anything but the cheese cake. Highly recommend for any sweet tooth craver!

Horrible food, horrible service. We went for my daughter's birthday and let's just say that I have to make it up to her. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait and it was an hour and 15 minutes. When we finally got to the table, the waiter was horrible. Everyone's drinks and food came out at different times, the food was bland, and when we complained to the waiter, his response was, "well what do you want me to do about it?" I have never experienced anything like this before! My family will never return to this location...EVER!

This experience dining at The Cheesecake factory was a solo bar effort. The bar was very peaceful specifically for a Thursday night. No issues sitting at the bar or being served. The bartender was very knowledgeable about her drinks and gave me proper proportions for my simple drink of Jameson and Ginger Ale (Which you won't believe is sadly a problem at times). For my meal I decided to try out the Steak Diana, which was wonderful and included a medley of steak, onions, mushrooms, wine sauce, and mash potatoes. It was delicious and filling! One thing to keep in mind here... Their food is not normally meant for the calorie counters (which my meal calories made me sad, but worth it.) Make sure to skip to the skinny meal plans (I forgot the exact name) for the lower calorie counted foods. They pretty much have options for everyone. Parking is definitely available; it's connected to Lakeside Mall so no issues there.

What a disappointment. Average to good food & God-awful service. This is the first time I have ever intentionally left $0 as a tip; believe me she earned it. Out with friends to celebrate a birthday, we decided upon the Cheesecake Factory for two reasons: it's newness in the area & proximity. The wait was 35 minutes; we provided a cellphone number, as requested, for notification when our table was ready. We asked for 1st available with a preference for outdoor seating. *****Reasons for less than 5 stars***** More than 5 items we attempted to order were unavailable or the kitchen was unable to prepare (for 1 reason or another) A bread basket was promised before the meal, however, it arrived AFTER our food was served. Drinks were not refilled even after the server visited our area on more than 6 occasions, yes I counted, she managed to steer clear of our table - maybe she was embarrassed, idk. Three in our party & one person received her meal 20 minutes prior to the other two of us We had to request silverware, which arrived 5-7 minutes after the 1st person in our party received her food. Appetizers were NEVER delivered or even spoken of until we had to remind her NOT to place them on the bill. The manager brought our food out & apologized for the error; as he stated he was just made privy to the disastrous issues & he comped our desserts; however even though she was aware of the freebie, because she reiterated the plans of free dessert as stated by the manager; little miss sunshine STILL charged us for the cheesecake (crickets); we felt like this should've been an episode of Punk'd!!! *****Reasons for AT LEAST 2 Stars***** Extensive menu, lots to choose from. Great selection of cheesecake. New to the area. I'll be back, but I pray the experience isn't as such; this is a great restaurant as I've been to other locations throughout the US. And I know this location has the same potential.

I think after counting the number of different Cheesecake Factory locations I've been to in different states, I'll need more fingers. I guess that means it's my favorite place? I didn't realize. But anyway, while visiting NOLA, we decided to stop in to the only Cheesecake Factory in the area, which is located in a mall in Metairie. It's a very nice location, very inviting. When we went in, it was pretty much empty and we were seated immediately. We weren't offered any bread, which is the norm. We didn't realize it until after we had gotten our entree and realized some bread would go really well. We asked the server and he didn't bring it until we were about done, and it was super crispy. I think they had left it in the oven for too long. My husband had the orange chicken and he didn't really care for it.. it was mostly chicken and rice. No veggies as promised. I ordered the skinny chicken enchiladas which wasn't good either. Sure, it was under 600 calories..but it was loaded with salt. Yeesh. Service wasn't terribly slow, but it was slower than it should have been considering the restaurant was a ghost town. Our server Ayren N. rarely checked up on us for refills and what not. We were going to get cheesecake, but we just wanted to go already. Plus, Cafe du Monde beignets sounded like a much better plan.

I can only review so much on this CCF because I was not really feeling well upon going in..... We waited about 40 mins to be seated which is the norm on the weekend. Had a Mojito at the bar on the wait and it was awesome! Love their mojito's! After we were seated I didn't have much of an appetite because of my Bronchitis , so I ordered a buffalo blast with lemon water, my sister ordered garlic noodles and shrimp and my niece.....I can't remember I was pretty out of it. I didn't finish my food because I was so sick that I had to visit the bathroom .... I'm sorry about this review. Anyway bathroom was nice and clean. I was just ready to get back to the room. I do remember our waiter was a bit too Chatty Cathy that night, he spent most of his time at our table talking, maybe it was my sister and niece that had him talking so dangon much.... I was so annoyed. LOL!

So I went here once and had a pretty good experience. Since then I felt the need to update my review because the last few times I've been here they have "run out" of my favorite menu items, which I found a bit odd. The bartender explained to me that they pre-make everything in the kitchen the day before to a certain quantity, so they only have a limited supply of certain menu items for that day. So, if you go anytime in the late afternoon or at night, there's a big chance they will have already run out of a few popular menu items. I have came here 3 times since, and 2 of those times I was told that they had ran out of my favorite item of macaroni and cheese bites. Such a shame! I literally go there specifically for that crispy fried macaroni and cheese fix! But that's not the only thing that runs out, apparently several other items tend to run out pretty frequently as well. You would think this should be a pretty easy problem to solve. Just prep for more orders on popular menu items that constantly run out right? Well....nope....corporate has rules apparently that prevent that from happening. The staff is usually pretty apologetic about it and sweet but it sort of turned me off a bit knowing that if I come for something in particular I have a 50/50 shot that they might not even have it. Sort of a bummer.

This place is gorgeous in the inside! This is a big restaurant and they had a lot of staffing. With that being said the service was great! You can enter from the inside of the mall and there's a walk way or park outside by the Red Lobster restaurant. For appetizer we got the crab and artichoke dip. The flavor was good but wish the consistency was more thick. I went with the safe choice and got the Louisiana Chicken pasta. It was a big plate and I couldn't finish half of it. My girlfriend got the fish and chips and that look tasty. They offer the honey wheat and sourdough bread as you wait but I recommend you to double up on the sourdough. It tasted better.

Describe the Cheesecake Factory in the first three words that enter your mind! Go! Noisy Bread Overpriced I have never been to a Cheesecake Factory restaurant before, so this is solely based on my experience at the lakeside mall location. First of all, there were an extreme amount if people gathered in front the restaurant, and immediately inside the front doors. People were blocking the door so badly at 530pm this Thursday night that we could hardly avoid knocking people while trying to get to the hostess station. The hostess! Oh my, the hostess. Have you ever heard anyone speak after inhaling helium? This was WORSE. 200 times worse! Her voice could PEEL the industrial PAINT off of an aircraft carrier. We were told the wait would be a half an hour even though there were plenty of open tables; thank goodness it didn't take that long. We were seated and could barely hear the waitress over the overbearing base line of the music playing. That is the only bit of the music you could hear over the cavernous echo-ey space filled with the voices of patrons, staff, clinking plates and cups. We were brought bread pretty quickly. Free bread appetizer! I'm always a fan. Their pumpernickel and French bread earned one of these nifty stars. Very good. Our waters (water is a very complicated drink), were brought to us after we had finished the bread almost a half an hour after we were seated. Then, they brought out my brother's entree, about 10 minutes passed before our waitress came and asked US where the rest of our food was : I Really, lady? We are all sitting here waiting patiently for our food while his is getting cold. So, here's the breakdown of the items we chose. (We all usually share) Spring rolls - pretty good. My brother was a fan of their peanut sauce. They had the Asian noodles on the plate and also wheat spaghetti = strange. Spicy chicken sandwich -not spicy, but still good. Chicken Madeira - picture here is about half because I was splitting it with my mother, and we ate some while waiting on an additional plate. And yes, I ordered specifically stating we were splitting it. Poor service on 2 counts now. She did refill my water glass frequently. Perhaps these two things were not within the waitress's control; it didn't affect her tip. It was delicious. I loved the potatoes. I had to ask though - "are asparagus very expensive?" There were two chicken breasts, and abundance of potato, but only 4 asparagus on the entire dish...ok... While the food was acceptable, I found it very overpriced for the chain restaurant quality of food we received. I will not willingly choose to go here again.

During today's lunch, service was on point and pastas we ordered came out delicious! It's a very convenient location since girls get hungry post-shopping! On other occasions, service was not good. Once on a Friday night, I believe the kitchen ran out of several appetizers and other entrees we wanted. Like uh, really? And it was just not a good dining experience. I'm glad today's lunch went well and I will visit again.

We usually LOVE CF, but this particular one is just missing the mark. Came in at 4:30 on a Monday. Tons of empty tables, but we still waited 20 minutes. Asked for a high chair 3 times amongst two different employees and it never came. We finally just ran out to the car and got the stroller. We both ordered the garlic noodles with shrimp. The plain garlic noodles was $14.95, but we decided to have the shrimp added for an additional $4. Yeah, we each got THREE medium sized shrimp on our plate that were nothing special. THREE. Come on Cheesecake Factory, really? Our server, Phillip, was very nice, prompt, and accommodating. No complaints there! I guess this is what we get for breaking our "no chains" rule, though. Tisk tisk. Slight correction: We actually got the lunch version of our meals. It was $15.95 each... but it still seems like we were skimped some shrimps!

This place is honestly the biggest ripoff in the entire city of New Orleans. I order the shrimp scampi and steak diane combo and it was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. For 19.95 there were three shrimp and TERRIBLY cooked "medium" steak. The steak was dry and flavorless and the shrimp were a just ok size. Cheesecake Bistro is a much better investment of time and money. The food took 45 minutes to come out! The service is an absolute waste as is the cood. It is truly a disgrace to bring this establishment into our great city of cuisine and culture.

I've been here twice and both times the food was awful as was the service. The second time we went it was about 9:45 as the in-laws plane had just arrived and we needed a place to eat late, so the place was 3/4 empty. It took them 45 minutes to bring our food and when they did it was all wrong! I ordered a salad with chicken and Blue cheese and it arrived as a bowl of lettuce with dressing- nothing else! For $15?? When I complained they brought some chicken and told me that they were out of Blue Cheese. Umm, in 45 minutes you could not have stopped by and mentioned that? The salad only had 4 ingredients and they couldn't get that right! My Mother in law received her overcooked chicken with freezing mashed potatoes and after complaining finally received another batch after she had finished her meal and my partner and his Dad had the Shepard's Pie which was too salty for either of them to eat- and that my friends, was a $75 bill with just coffee and water ordered outside of the main meals. No apologies from the staff or the manager who came by. With that kind of food and customer service, we will sadly never be back and I have really loved Cheesecake factory over the years, but this place is run so poorly and honestly the food is truly awful. I don't know if the entire chain has slipped down hill with frozen, prepackaged food that they heat and serve, or if it is just this particular branch, but both times we have been there we have been really unhappy with both the food and lackluster service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Go to the Red Lobster across the parking lot instead. We've been there 3 times and every time the service is prompt and friendly and the food is stiff really good.

Worst CF experience ever. We've been to other CF's in different cities, but this one needs a lot of help. My family was visiting so we decided to eat here. We gave our cell number to the hostess and were told it would be about an hour. Two hours go by and nothing. I go in and inquire only to get a sorry it will be another thirty minutes. Three hours go by and nothing. We left and went to Red Lobster across the parking lot, where we received wonderful service. Went back on another occasion to get cheesecake to go. The cheesecakes (banana cream and red velvet) were very good, but the whipped cream they used tasted very stale. Oh, and no one ever called to let us know our table was ready that night! Shame on this CF!

I usually love coming to The Cheesecake Factory, especially this one. I was excited for a amazing lunch, but was very very disappointed. I ordered the Veggie Burger(posted a picture of it) which is what I love to order every time I come by. It is my ultimate favorite burger, it's just so good. Though I love it, Ii usually don't finish it sadly. But this time when I ordered it was so bad. The burger to bun ratio is 4:1, it's too much. I had to pick the sides off so I can pick it up to eat. And this time it was very raw and soggy. So I cut it into two and the toppings all fell out all raw and just too dry. The fries were extremely salty and cold. Nothing about this dish was good. I wasted $12.50.

My first time here and eh it could've been better. My boyfriend and I came in around 9:20ish for dinner and waited about 5 mins for our table which wasn't bad at all! First thing I noticed walking in was the decor, it was gorgeous!! We ordered: the fried mac n cheese balls for appetizer, which I expected to be more tasty but I guess I'm not into powdery textured mac n cheese? entree: Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp (waitress suggested).. it honestly tasted like a basic pasta I could've made at home that probably wouldn't have been so overcooked and tasteless! NOT WORTH $22 BUCKS A PLATE! For my boyfriend, he got the Luau Salad and IT WAS DELISH! I took a bite or 5... dessert: we took a regular cheesecake topped with strawberries for togo and it was really good as well! Our waitress was super friendly and always checked on us. I might just return one day and try something else.

I have to take it back... Although Cheesecake factory was my favorite chain in Boston, this location just isn't good at all and sadly, it may be my last visit. First, the brown bread is the best at CF, but they overcook it here. Its so hard and dry. Then the wait. Good god. The wait is aweful. The kitchen must just be slow here. Food takes forever and service isnt good either. The food is definetly not the quality I remember. The fries weren't the same. The chicken enchiladas had gristly chicken. GROSS. Prices are high at every CF but I somehow justified it in Boston because the food was good and portions were huge. Portions seem smaller here and the quality isn't there. So for $100, LUNCH for a family of 4 is just not acceptable. Sorry but I have to say I do not recommend CF.

Not that impressive. I went at about 8:30pm on a Tuesday night and sat at the bar. The bartender was decent. She forgot to give me a napkin, but no biggie. She refilled my water on time and checked on me. The food was very bland. I ordered the chicken & "biscuits", even though it only came with one biscuit. The chicken was a little thick, although it was pretty moist. It was just bland. The "pan drippings/gravy" was just ok; again bland. The mashed potatoes - excellent! The biscuit was stale. It comes with mixed veggies, but I asked to substitute broccoli. Unfortunately, the broccoli comes covered in mushrooms. I wish I would've known that. I I HATE mushrooms. It also came covered in onions, of which I had no problem. Just not worth $16 in my opinion. Also, the ads in the menu book are annoying. I'm paying decent money at a restaurant, the last thing I want to see is ads on my menu.

I don't know what the negative reviews are for. I've been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner at the bar area. Lunch was a pleasant experience. There was no wait and my server greeted me immediately. The Sangrias here are really good along with the Shrimp Club sandwich which is HUGE. For dinner me and two friends say at the bar because it was slightly crowded. We ordered appetizers (a salmon dish, Mac and cheese balls, calamari, and a southwest egg roll style dish). Again we had THREE rounds of their Sangrias. Next time I'll be sure to actually try some cheesecake lol.

This will be my first time trying a Cheesecake Factory franchise. My bf and I went there on a Sunday night around 10pm. Place was not crowded. Four hostess was standing in front but did not greet us. I guess standing around talking to each other is more important than acknowledging the customers. Eventually we got seated. We sat there for a good 20 or so minutes with no service. Finally our waitress came by and took our drink orders. Waited another 20 or so minutes for drinks to arrive. So 40mins wasted just to received service and drinks We then ordered calamari appt, French country salad, and ribeye entree. -Calamari appt was too greasy. Calamari were small and batter too thick. $11.95 -I had the salad appt which was decent. $9.95 -Bf wanted the herb encrusted salmon but was told they were out of salmon for the evening (Really!?!? lame). He order the ribeye instead. Now, I know that ribeye are suppose to have some fat in it but his steak was half meat and half fat!!! $25.95! Wth. His entree is suppose to come with fries but our waitress didn't bring it out until after we both finish eating! Talk about bad service. Overall, this was a pretty bad dining experience. Terrible service and overpriced mediocre food. Definitely won't be going back and highly Not recommended.

This is my second time I gave this location a try. Once again, I am disappointed. We had to ask for utensils to eat with and complimentary bread. As for entrées, they messed up my brothers order and by the time they brought out the right one everyone else was finish with their food. Was never asked if we needed refills on our drinks. We had to ask for refills and they even refilled a cup with no Ice. When dessert was brought out once again, no utensils!

Went on opening day and I must say that I am BEYOND thrilled about it's new presence in the area. I've eaten at Cheesecake Factory many times before, but this is the first Cheesecake Factory in the tri-state area (Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana). It's in a great location and the dining room is bigger than many other CFs I've been to. As always, the menu selection was amazing and the food that was ordered was flavorful and nicely presented (Dynamite Shrimp, Buffalo Blasts, Greek Salad, Chile Rillenos). Id also add that the service was exactly what I expected: phenomenal. Cheesecake Factory attracts a certain clientele that is sure to really make the area flourish. I really hope this resturant does well and I hope it continues it's success!

BLAND! I know that this restaurant is a chain and I had eaten at one many years ago but I don't remember being so disappointed. I stopped in yesterday afternoon for a leisurely lunch and to get a fix for my raging sweet tooth. My husband and I were seated immediately and service was way better than I would have expected for a place that recently opened. 4 stars for service. The menu is ridiculously large. One page of small plates, two pages of appetizers, one page for salads, one page for pastas, one page for burgers, ect, ect.... What is on the menu is all over the place as well. Want Mexican? You are covered. Italian? Got it; pizza AND pasta. Asian? Plenty of choices. Seafood? Anything you want! Comfort food? But of course, the Cheesecake Factory has it all. With a menu this large though, everything has been toned down in flavor. The crab dip that I had ordered was so lacking, that I almost sent it back. It was crab and flavorless cheese served with hard, toasted bread. I had to swipe some fried onions from my hubby's burger to mix into the dip just so it would taste like something! And there was not enough bread for the amount of dip served. My husbands burger was just OK. Not good enough to justify the price. He was going to get the chicken and biscuits, but at $17, that seemed a little outrageous. My sandwich was boring as well. I wanted a fancy pants turkey sandwich with a good spread or compote. I got a plain ol' turkey sandwich with wilted lettuce and a grainy slice of tomato and a tiny side salad. How dull, especially considering it was $11. The cheesecake was good, although we did not order the standard ones. Mine was a pineapple upside down cheesecake. Good, but not great, and served with two enormous poofs of awful whipped cream (tasted just like ready whip). His was a lemoncello torte. That was very good, nice and refreshing, however also served with the awful whipped cream and some tasteless strawberries. Tip: do not get the strawberry shortcake. The same tasteless strawberries are used for it. The table next to us ordered that and was complaining about the lack of flavor the whole time. The set up of the restaurant is weird. There are so many tables crammed into the space; it is very difficult to get around with out knocking into servers, hostesses, the table next to you or other patrons. There should really take out about 20 to 30 of the small tables. I don't think I will go back again. Like I said, service was good, but that was just not enough to make up for the overpriced and incredibly bland food.

I honestly dont get why this place does not have 5 stars. My husband and I go here for our anniversary. We went last year and it was amazing and today we went and it was still amazing. When we went last year it wasnt as busy as today but the service was still really good. We had macarroni cheese bites and crab & artichoke dip which was amazing! For dinner we both had a pasta dish. Mine was a louisiana pasta dish and my husband had garlic noodles with shrimp. For desert we took home the 30th anniversary cheesecake and the chocolate mousse cheesecake. We were so full from dinner that we had to take it home. I was impressed with how smoothly everything was running considering how busy they were. The wait wasnt but 5 minutes and were greeted by our waitor within 5 minutes who appoligized for the wait even though it wasnt that long. Everyone there worked very well togeher which made it a great experience. I would say this is probably one of my favorite restaurants. We will be back next year for our anniversay dinner. Hopeully before then...

You guys need to get your seating under control. Everyone was told it was a 15-20 minute wait this was regardless of the number of ppl in their party. The wait was over 40 minutes. People were walking out. It wasn't until ppl complained and pointed out that there were a number of empty tables in plain view of customers. A manager that was already in the seating area was able to immediately get ppl seated. This location has been open long enough and is always crowded no matter what state, so this should not still be a glitch with a new location.

Way too packed and noisy. The music was very loud, but all you could hear was an unpleasant base line. We couldn't understand the waitress at all. On the other hand, the food was very good. I had their chicken madiera. The chicken and mashed potatoes were great, but there wasn't much asparagus.

I seldomly complain because I been in the service industry for 3 years but the service I had here was horrible. Our drinks was empty and no refill. My brother and I ordered steaks but there was no steak knives. I had to get up from my table to ask our waitress for knives to cut our steak because we sat there for a good 15 minutes without anyone coming by to check if we needed anything. By that time we were eating cold steaks. Oh guess what? She never apologize or anything. So my family and I aren't coming back.

I was hoping for at least an edible meal but it was just as expected. Food was awful. They try to make up for the poor quality by giving you hundreds of choices. The menu was 21 pages. No kidding. The only good thing was the basic cheesecake.

Normally I'm not a fan of chains but I do really like CF (have eaten there a few times in other states), so I was thrilled when I saw that the Metairie one had opened. The BF and I went here on a Monday night around 7:30. It was our third attempt trying to eat here because each time we had tried, it was super packed with a crowd of people waiting outside to be seated. I figured Monday was typically a slower day for most restaurants so it was our best bet. The hostesses were friendly and initially quoted us a a wait time of 15 minutes but ended up seating us right away. I did see a couple of available tables but for the most part, it seemed to be a full house and very busy. The interior is beautiful and on par with other CF locations: same design, setup, menu, etc. Our server (I believe his name was Andrew or Andy) did an excellent job. I'm in the service industry myself so I'm usually particular about service wherever I go. He was very pleasant and checked on us several times to make sure everything was okay. Our appetizer, entrees and dessert came out promptly and we never had to wait long for food. Also, refills came steadily and complimentary bread was given to us without us having to ask (which I noticed wasn't always the case with other reviewers). We tried the bite sized crab cakes, crab and artichoke dip, Kobe burger and buffalo blasts. No complaints on the food at all. The side that my BF ordered didn't come out with his meal but Andrew/Andy was quick to take care of that and brought it out soon afterward, nice. The entire dinner took about an hour and we left feeling stuffed and satisfied. We'll be back. My thoughts overall after reading some of their bad reviews on Yelp: keep in mind that this location has only been open for a month. If you choose to dine at any high volume establishment this early on, you should realize that there are going to be kinks to work out with the food, staff and kitchen. Instead of going on a weekend where the wait and food times may take longer than expected or they may be out of certain times, I would recommend going on a weekday/night towards the beginning of the week. I'm sure this place is going to be a great addition to Metairie and will do very well here.

I decided to come here for my birthday even though I called in advance & was told that they do not take reservations. I was also told that any size group could be accommodated. I came around 6pm with a group of 11 & was told the wait would be 2 hours. We ended up splitting up the group to get seated quicker. I've eaten at the Cheesecake Factory before in Houston & San Diego & the food at this location was better than I remembered. We tried ordering 2 different appetizers & was told that they were out of certain ingredients. We ended up getting wontons, hot wings, & spinach dip to share. All were tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meals & drinks & we ordered cheesecake to go. I can see myself coming back but I will wait for the newness to wear off.

Let's start off by saying if you have a menu that's 21 pages long plus another menu.....the food your cooking can't be good it taste like frozen dinners defrosted and thrown on a plate!!! The shrimp carbonara had a smell when it came to our table like it was a week old!!! My wife and I both looked at each other like wtf is that smell!!! when the waiter brought it out. we sent it back and both ordered desert again better desert out of a box don't waste your time people trust me!!

I finally stopped in at the latest Factory to open their doors. Dining alone I had no problem dodging the wait at the door and opted for the mostly empty bar. It's been a while so I picked up the book on the bar to find out it was their menu. Just kidding, I knew the menu was extensive just making fun of how extensive. Carly behind the bar easily guided me telling me where to look, by page number no less, for what I was in the mood for. I asked her favorite burger and she mentioned the Americano(sp) burger which I happily went for with a side of sweet potato fries. I also started with a side salad as I felt really piggish today. Since I'm in the industry I had several questions which Carly was more than happy to answer. As we were talking I told her I work just down the street. That's when she informed me we had actually met when she was having dinner at my establishment. The salad and burger was everything I was expecting. However, I would have like a little more time between the salad and burger. The burger arrived before I really had begun to tackle the salad. The gluttony continued after the burger with a piece of upside down pineapple cheesecake. Needless to say I'll be walking this meal off for the next few days. Overall it was a great lunch. I will definitely be back for another burger and cheesecake once my pants fit again. Thanks again Carly.

Food is great if you know what to order service is typically sub par little attention is given to the table. On our last visit we weren't even brought the bread that comes with our meal and it took roughly 12 minutes to get a water refill and the place wasn't even very busy at all.

Absolutely terrible. Had a gift card so we went on a Sunday night. Tables were so close I got to hear about the experiences in childbirth from the people next to us. Server was an idiot. When I asked if he would recommend the fish tacos he said "yeah they are good". I ordered them and they were the most tasteless fish tacos ever. After 2 bites I asked for some salsa or something and he decided to add "I actually don't eat fish so I really wouldn't know if they were good". My husband's pork chop was raw and under-everythinged! As we waited for our check I noticed that every other table had a nice basket of bread at their table. When I asked the server if we would need to ask for bread for our table, he responded "the kitchen takes like a million and six years to put it out so most of the time you don't get any, but you want some in a box to take home?" Seriously, this place is awful. The table setup is the worst, the food is sub-Applebees quality and the service is....well, what service....? WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND.

As far as chains go, Cheesecake Factory is tough to beat. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal there. I like the avocado egg rolls, the Louisiana chicken pasta, bang bang shrimp, a multiplicity of other things, and any of their cheesecake. The downside is their service is a little slow.

I've been to several CCF in the country and have had plenty of great experiences from them all. As a matter of fact, never a bad one until CCF in Metairie . I don't even know where to begin from the long wait, dirty silverware ( twice in same visit !) , no bread baked to offer before meal , out of several menu items that my husband and I wished to have, and then as we leave there's puke in the outdoor wait area. The food was mediocre. Service not bad but not great . And the only thing I will say that is worth getting here is s dessert to go bc they are made in a factory somewhere else. This location has ruined my love for CCF. Maybe it's a good thing . All these chain restaurants are good for is taking your money and delivering mediocre chemical and sugar filled dishes.

We waited for a half an hour for a table ,set down ,silverware was dirty and they did not have a club sandwich to serve or meatballs and spaghetti not worth the time.

Usually not harsh about food but I have not had a poor experience in a while. Started off with the roadside sliders. It was hotter than normal, took the bun off and looked like it came out of the microwave. The meat inside was mediocre. I tried the Mac n cheese burger. The Mac n cheese component is fried. I think if it was hotter it would have been okay. As for the burger, you could tell it was not fresh. I would say the only thing that was enjoyable was the cheesecake. Should this be a place you should bring your family? Probably not. It's super loud and the quality of the food does not meet the standards in terms of price. I'd rather go to Cheesecake Bistro.

When I was a kid, and lived in a place that only had chain restaurants, this used to be my favorite restaurant (South Florida for those curious). I would always get the chicken salad sandwich or the lettuce wraps and always left extremely happy. After living in a city where chain restaurants are snubbed, I can certainly no longer say cheesecake factory is my favorite. Food elsewhere is just far superior. There is nothing wrong with cheesecake factory and it's still a solid chain, but the food is just kind of "meh." I will say, I think the chicken salad sandwich at this particular location is no where as tasty as I remember...could just be my taste bubs improving since I had not had it for some years, or could be (as other reviewers commented) that this one just isn't up to par as others. I've been about 3-4 times to this location and can say the lettuce wraps and salads are good and the pancakes for brunch were actually delicious. I saw a lot of reviewers commented on poor service but I actually had amazing service all the times I went. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive! They were great with refilling water, giving more bread, and bringing extra condiments so no complaints there!

This was the worst Cheesecake Factory that I have ever experienced. It felt like nobody cared and the morale was low. Walked into an empty reception, sat at the bar for dinner, and waited 8 min for someone to appear behind the bar to serve. When I got my drink, my glass was dirty. When I asked for a clean one, the bartender replied that they all looked that way, probably because the sanitizer was getting low. Found me a clean one though. The food was ok, not your typical delicious meal that you have at most other Cheesecake Factory restaurants. Was never asked how the meal was... When I paid my bill and left, not one word of thanks for coming in, have a good night, etc. Guess the football game on TV was more important than a paying customer. Management needs to step up and make some improvements to the team and customer service here.

This place is really busy. Seating is the biggest issue. You can see a lot of open tables but are told there is a 30 min wait. I like the pasta carbonara because I like bacon. Strong smoke taste. The add-ons are expensive for what you get. $5 for four shrimp is really pricy. The value for your money isn't in the food. It's more for the atmosphere.

I'm actually shocked that this was the worst experience I've ever had with a Cheesecake Factory ever!!!! This service was Blah! The food was even worst! Almost ever order we had was wrong, and things went extremely slow! Maybe because it's the only one in the city and surrounding areas. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!!

  • Natalie B.

I've been here 3 times since their opening and although the service still needs improvement the food is great. It's a brand new restaurant still working out the kinks and I think they're doing amazing. So far I've had the Chicken Medura....to die for! I've also had the Eggplant Sandwich, Skinny Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Crab and Artichoke Dip which were all very good. I've tried the guacamole and Skinny Enchiladas which I wouldn't recommend. I also had many of the cheesecakes including the carb conscious -made with Splenda- amazing!!! If your in a hurry or looking for superior service they aren't there yet but good food they have that :)

Not big on chains but... it's new in Metairie and we figured why not?! The menu is great!! Theres like 10 pages of different stuff you can get. Everything looks and sounds amazing. My inner fat kid loves it. :-) Today I went with my daughter, best friend and her daughter. Our appetizer was the crab and artichoke. Heavenly!! Children had grilled cheese w fruit on the side. Fruit as a side.. great idea! My spicy chicken sandwich was good. Server was very nice. I'd recommend this place.

This place is getting a bad rep from when they first opened and were slammed. I suggest you ignore the bad comments from then and go try it. If you like Indian cuisine at all, the chicken samosas are a great small plate to start off. The turtle cheesecake is one of my favorites out of the huge selection that I've barely had a chance to work through.

Husband and I ordered the spinach & cheese dip and the crab wontons for apps. Really good. Spinach needed a lil salt but otherwise good. Nice size portions to share. For entree I had the Jamaican black pepper shrimp. It was so good!! Husband had the herb crusted salmon and shrimp scampi. The scampi was a bit spicy with garlic but good. The salmon was good but rather small. There was a good selection of wine also. For dessert we had the red velvet cheese cake. It was so good!!! Service wasn't bad either waitress was really attentive. The wait however was an hour but not surprised for a Saturday evening. Killed it by walking around the mall. Overall we were satisfied. Definitely returning!

Today I sat with the very friendly Carly at the bar and enjoyed a glass of prosecco while waiting for mt fire roasted artichoke and farro salad to come out of the kitchen. Everything came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Could not have asked for a better meal or service. I will definitely be back again.

6th visit. Happy with food as always. Service is still not good. Too long to wait for food. Servers have been very nice, but can be slow and not well trained. Still early in the game though. Lots of improvement needed but will definitely be back.

Love this restaurant. Scratch kitchen with great food, and amazing staff! Menu is vast, and has something for everyone. Decor is beautiful, and the cocktails to die for! Not to mention of course the amazing desserts. They also have an amazing happy hour, and scrumptious Sunday brunch!

I came here for a bday dinner for a friend, and waited for over an hr for a table when we were told 25 mins. After being seated we waited another hour for our food. Which was brought out sporadically. One of our friends had already finished her meal before I got mine. We ordered cheesecake for the "birthday boy" and they gave us a list of cheese cake they were currently out of. The whole dinner was almost 4 hours!!! We were here so long we went through 2 servers....Both of them were nice, but over all the whole experience was unorganized and frustrating. I will not be back.

Long wait for a new restaurant is pretty much the norm around here, but it took an hour and a half before we got our food or even any bread for that matter. Only two sets of utensil for four people and the waiter must have found forks somewhere as he dropped off four and then disappeared again. Ordered the baked potato soup and you could smell and taste that it was burned. Still no napkins or drink refills. Really really disappointed. The cheesecake factory's in Houston are not this bad. The manager did come out and offer to get me something else on the house, but at this point I'm so frustrated and its so late (10:30pm) i just didn't care for anything else. Only reason this review gets two stars.

I wasn't too impressed with this restaurant. We had a large party of 7. I expected to wait awhile for a table, which we did. While we waited we enjoyed a piña colada on the patio enjoying company, which were excellent We were then seated in a large booth with a chair at the end. I was like okay we have a seat and can order. Well I didn't know I was going to play server all night. I sat in the middle and was passing food and drink, plates and trash back and forth all night. The plates when they came out were on fire with no assistance I had to pass not one but 2 hot plates, which burned my hands, that didn't even phase the waitress. Who ever designed the layout and seating arrangements of this restaurant certainly didn't have large parties in mind. The food was good. No complaints. The service was subpar. I ordered a plate to go for someone else when I ordered our entrees thinking it was taken care of. When I asked for our check and the to go plate I was told "oh I forgot, we are out of the Cuban sandwich." Really, it takes you over an hour to tell me that. This is in excusable, especially with her mannerisms. Also to get a refill on our drinks was apparently unheard of at this restaurant. It took from appetizers to dessert in order to get a refill. The servers seem to be understaffed and their service shows. Food and drinks were slow to come out, the food a little over priced, and the wait time from the time you get in to the time you get out is a little excessive. Will think twice before eating here again.

Not a place to go if you are hungry because it will make you HANGRY for waiting so long for your food. Its been an hour and no food yet. It's not even a busy night. The server is poopoo as well... Taking forever to take our order! But the food was good.

Went there last night service was terrible no clean glasses,no silverware loud customers food was extremely over cooked, everyone screaming on cellphones,my God wouldn't,t bring my dog to that place what has happened to Metairie when we told the manager what was going on he shrugged his shoulders and walked away!He said he was aware of the dirty dishes and service issues but had no solutions! The servers all were complaining about the certain customers not tipping that leads to poor server attitudes! I had high hopes for this place but they went straight out the window!

When the server flirts with your boyfriend and pays you NO mind; makes me never want to come back.also, when they refill his drink within 3 minutes without even asking and then forgets my drink TWICE. I sat there with a empty drink for at least 25 minutes

My family and I came here for day 2 of national cheesecake day and we got here at 8... It is 10:15 and we are still here. I ordered the smokehouse burger which was good . That was the only thing appealing to me on the menu. My husband ordered some type of chicken sandwich and it was burnt so we just took it off the menu. All and all I won't be retuning here, but on another note the place was beautiful

This is a very new restaurant that needs to improvement on a lots of things be compare to the other Cheesecake Factory hopefully after being open over a month or two the will get better work out the kinks but so far after being open only two weeks the staff and management & cooks has to get better with more training but the food i got was good with the crab spinach dip Nice pricing I Will Go Back just to if they have gotten better to point where everything flows naturally after about open Ps. We when for late dinner and the wait to be seated to a table was like 5 min.not bad After Essence weekend

Cheesecake Factory is fabulous! Every single item on the menu is made fresh daily, and you can really taste the freshness. My favorite dish is the Louisiana Chicken Pasta, though I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered. I also quite enjoy the Asian Pear martinis! :) The cheesecake is phenomenal and the other desserts are certainly worth trying, like the fudge cake and the strawberry shortcake! Love everything about this place!!

The menu has a lot of items and is pretty confusing if you've never been there before, but the food was delicious (the avocado egg rolls get an A+). The food took a while to arrive and there were some kinks, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened. Loved the ambiance outside, the fans made it comfortable even though it was a hot day.

Very sweet and gracious hostess staff. Got me the seat I really wanted. Beautiful decor. Knowledgable servers, who are friendly and wanting to please. The food, though takes some time to come out, is generous portions and delicious. With such a huge menus, there is something for everyone. Delicious, and obviously freshly made. Defiantly still some kinks to be ironed out. But given they are so new and so very busy, they all do a great job. I defiantly would come back. Sad to hear the negative reviews, but some folks aren't willing to give this place a fair shot. Yes it's a chain, no it's not a franchise, (for those who know the difference) but they take better care of their food and guests than any other chain out there. They are busy and able to grow their company with good reason!

my husband and I have been here twice and we really enjoyed it. the wait was not long at all and the service was great. the first time we went I ordered a steak and it was the best steak I have ever ate in my life, it was so tender and good. the second time we went I ordered the catfish and was really disappointed on that bc that catfish was very very soggy. my husband enjoyed all of his food also. the only thing is that the restaurant is pricy, but it's totally worth it.

Ok seriously, all three of my children have worked for this chain over the years. In Ma. And Ca. This review is for the service only. The food is good. No hostess in the front. Went to the bar to eat. Bar tender took the order. Food comes out from the runner. No set ups. Bartender says she has two forks and a spoon. Gives us a choice. I ask for napkin and setups. I get none. I have two forks and a spoon. Paper napkins from the bar. Now I get no sugar for coffee. I have to ask. Did they train these people???? This isn't one person but three different people. Get some training!!!

This is my second time coming here and the service is horrible yet again. I understand that this restaurant opened fairly recently, but it's been here long enough to work out the links. The bread is always hard, you have to request side plates and my order was incorrect, so that added onto out wait time. We have waited well over 45 minutes to receive our meal and it's not that crowded. When our meal came out it is nothing like it should've been and I've ordered the same thing from CF all over the U.S. I will NEVER COME BACK! HORRIBLE....

Yesterday my family and I decided to go to Cheesecake Factory after church. First looking at the menu could be over whelming, there is so much told choose from. I ended up settling on the tex mex egg rolls for an appetizer and for my food I chose the chicken Marsala and mushroom pasta! The egg rolls were so good they went very fast! My pasta not so much it was suppose to be a wine sauce but tasted a little burned. Our waiter was so good and attentive I did not make a big deal of it. For desert instead of the famous cheesecake my sister and I split a hot fudge Sunday, let me tell you it was AWESOME! Overall it deserved the five stars I gave it

We came here for dinner last week, the day after it opened. I had never been to The Cheesecake Factory anywhere else before and I thought I would give it a try because cheesecake sounded good that day. Food was OK, similar to what you'd get at Olive Garden, TGIF, or similar chain restaurants, but The Cheesecake Factory costs twice as much. The decor feels very much like an old hotel restaurant that has had many renovations and has an ongoing identity crisis. The service was some of the worst customer service I have ever had. We waited much longer than the ticketed estimated time, and I noticed that the hostesses kept telling people that the wait for a table would be less than it actually was, despite knowing that the wait would be longer. We were told repeatedly that the wait time would only be five minutes longer. Their ticketed waiting system is weird and inefficient. Once we were ready to be seated, an African-American man with a purple shirt whom I presumed to be an assistant manager led us to our table, and when we arrived after a longer wait than we'd expected, the table had not been cleaned and had dirty dishes all over it. He asked us to wait our turn for the table to be cleaned and I saw many open tables and booths nearby that were cleaned and ready. I asked the man in the purple shirt for a different table and he stated that those tables were being reserved. As we continued to stand there while the busboys cleaned other tables before they could get to ours, I watched people that were behind us in line being seated at the clean tables and their drink orders being taken. After we were seated, we waited over fifteen minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence. It felt like we were being purposefully ignored. I noticed that we were the only Caucasian people in the vicinity and while we were being ignored, the African American man in the purple shirt was coming by and asking the tables of African American people around us if they needed anything. I've never felt the kind of blatant racism at a restaurant that I felt at The Cheesecake Factory. It was terrible. Finally, a server from another section came by and asked us if we had been helped. She promptly took drink orders and brought us drinks. About fifteen minutes later, a man who was assigned to be our server came by and took our dinner order. We ordered garlic bread and zucchini and both of these appetizers were better than our meals. I should mention too that the menu at this restaurant has ads for other businesses on every other page. I've never seen anything like it, it felt cheesy and classless. I come to a restaurant to eat, relax, and enjoy myself, not to have more advertisements for other businesses tucked into my menu and flashed in my face. It's irritating and I felt disgusted that this restaurant thinks it's OK to intrude upon my leisure time out with more marketing. Are they not making enough money as a chain restaurant? Ugh... Offensive and presumptuous to say the least. The meal arrived after about an hour and it just wasn't good enough to justify the price. The menu here has as much of an identity crisis as the decor. A little bit of whatever is popular right now, toned down and made palatable for the masses. "Asian flavors" are all the rage right now, as most foodies know. However, most foodies eat authentic Asian food regularly and this menu is very loosely inspired. Your palate will not be surprised and intrigued. It will be tricked by focus group tested entrees that are unadventurous and rather bland. Passable, but not memorable. A disappointment for any foodie. Trying to get drink refills was nearly impossible. We had a hard time flagging down a server. The tables near us though, seemed to be receiving excellent service. After very little service throughout the entire meal, we were suddenly pressured to order dessert before we'd finished eating. When my friend finished his meal, the server tried to take his order for a dessert instead of waiting for us both. I felt rushed to finish, I really got the feeling that they wanted us to hurry up and leave. When I did finish, I had to flag the waiter down. We ordered two strawberry cheesecakes. Simple enough, right? Five minutes after we'd placed the order for the cheesecakes, a man I thought to be a manager or some corporate manager of one kind or another came by to inform us that they were out of strawberry cheesecake. We asked for cherry cheesecake instead. Five minutes later, he returned again to inform us that they did not have cherry cheesecake either. Day two at a restaurant called The Cheesecake Factory and they didn't have either. Absolutely perfect! The manager came out ten minutes later with two unappetizing slices of warm, melted cheesecake topped with cherry pie filling. We ate them quickly and left. The warm cheesecake was good, but certainly not the best. You can eat better in NOLA and eat local, I do not recommend this restaurant for service or food.

The food was great!!! It missed 5 stars because of the very poor service and wait time for our food. Our waiter Cory K was attentive at first, then he pretty much left us high and dry. We had to ask for water a couple of times. When we asked for some additional condiments, it took forever to get them. I asked for ranch dressing and he never delivered it. By the time it came, I was done with my meal. I do have to say that there was one woman server that was doing her best to make things right. I only wish I knew her name. She was great!!! Now a comment on the "leave your name and we'll call you"process. We put in our name and waited at the bar. After 20 minutes or so, we were called to the front. We thought we'd be seated right away, but NO! We had to wait for all the others they had called before us before we got seated. We stood there for nearly 10 minutes with our cocktails in hand. I would have much preferred to be seated at the bar until they were really ready to seat us. Not sure if we will be going back. There are so many other great 5 star restaurants to eat in NOLA.

Completely and Totally NOT Impressed! I hope this is still new restaurant kinks. The food was pretty good, and I would probably return for it. The service was worse than terrible and will probably keep me from returning. Our waitress completely ignored us. We had to get a menu that was left on another table. We had one for 3 people and she wondered why we weren't ready to order when she was. I had to ask for silverware. She brought it. Then I had to ask for napkins, and she acted like I was asking for something special. Still waiting for the sweetener for my tea. Never saw her during our meal so no drink refills or cheese for my son's pasta. The crowning blow was the cheesecake we took to go. She changed my son's order and brought something different than what he ordered. Note to wait staff, when in doubt, ask the customer exactly what they want. Don't just assume and bring what you think they want. The cheesecake department is heavy on the nuts. They seem to put them on everything, note to those with allergies. Also, be prepared to wait when you go. The line tonight was a doozie. We have eaten in the Cheesecake Factory in other places and have enjoyed it. I hope this one steps it up as I would like to go again.

Went here last night and it was the the good ole Cheesecake Factory I'm used to. I usually don't like to eat at chains since I moved to New Orleans but I made an exception. There isn't much healthy on their 25+ page menu but most everything I've ever had at a CF is pretty tasty!! I got a frozen peach Bellini to drink and it was so yummy, I want another one right now! Our table split the fried Mac-n-cheese balls as an appetizer and they were pretty good. I had a salad for my entree since I knew I would be ordering cheesecake. The portions are huge here! I took half my entree and half my dessert home and had a whole other meal. I had the lemon raspberry cheesecake and it was sweet and really tart. It was sooo good. There are definitely better places to eat in New Orleans but if you want to eat at a good chain restaurant with literally dozens and dozens of entree options this is your place. Not to mention they probably have 50 different cheesecakes.

Food was decent, but definitely overpriced - iced tea, lemon garlic shrimp & pineapple cheesecake and my bill was $27.40 - for lunch! Don't think I'll be in a rush to go back; too many other local and better restaurants.

I was really looking forward to going to the Cheesecake Factory since I've been to one years ago and loved it, I waited for a month and a half to go by so it wouldn't be insanely busy and picked a Wednesday after the lunch rush at 1:30, but there was still a 50 minute wait! It took us two hours from the time we got there until we got our food, I had an appointment and had to get my food put straight into a box waited another 15 minutes before they brought me dessert and when I got to my appointment and finally got to eat my food it was awful, don't order the fish tacos! Never going back! Way overpriced, food not great, service is a mess! There are so many better choices in this city for great food don't waste your time on this chain!!!

Food may be good (for a chain restaurant); however, service is horrible. No silverware on table. Very slow to get drinks and take order. Even slower to get food. Everything is a wait.

We went here for lunch and wasn't satisfied at all. I wanted to order this entree but they told me the grill was broken which I just wanted to give up because half the menu you couldn't order off of it. We had the lettuce wrap as an appetizer which was ok. The portion for that was huge but it has to be cause the price was high. Then I ordered my burger which was too dry when I wanted it medium. My bread was wet which was gross so I couldn't eat it. The fries that came with it tastes better at mcd. Then I had the strawberry cheesecake which everyone raves about which was ok. Taste like from Walmart or something. So the bill came out to be $70 for lunch so you know I thought I was getting my moneys worth, not. I would not be coming back at all. Also I would like to add the menu was confusing because they had American food with Asian fusion food and Mexican. It was all frustrating.

I'm sad to give this Cheesecake Factory two stars. We are from Boston and currently live in New Orleans. Unfortunately, this place sucks! Not so much the food but the staff is completely a mess. We came in and sat down waited 15 minutes for someone to approach us.The manager came up and apologized and took our order and we finally got our appetizer. Then we realized we waited longer than usual for our main dish. The waitress comes up and asks us what we were waiting for? We then realized we were sure they did not put our main dish order. It's like wow really! I come up to the manager and she looks embarrassed. We decided to leave because this was just freaking terrible and beyone unprofessional. As much as we love the Cheesecake Factory we will never go back to this location. It was our 6th time coming back and we were hoping the service would get better but it seems to get worse. We are moving back home in a few months and will go back to the Boston locations. Besides the terrible service it's always dirty under the tables. French fries and left over pieces of food on chairs as well. They need better training.

We have now eaten here twice, and both times turned out to be a disaster. The first time, we had lunch here. Our waitress was incredibly slow and inattentive. We waited for nearly an hour and a half for our food to come out. When we complained, the manager kindly told us that our food had been sent to another table by accident. (lol nice try. the waitress forgot to put our order in, but ok.) So after another 25 minutes, we received our entrees and a bill for the entire meal. Classy. Wanting to give it another try, considering the large menu, we decided to go for dinner this time. To begin with, we arrived at 9:20pm. Due to the incredibly slow service, we did not leave the restaurant until 12:35am. (how was this possible, by the way? Your restaurant was at about 30% capacity and you had more waiters and bussers running around than I've ever seen in any other place. Seriously....) Anyways, after being seated and handed menus by the hostess, we waited..... and waited.... and waited some more until finally, after about a half an hour, I got up to ask the hostess where our waitress was. Cut to 10 minutes after that when a girl who had passed us about 50 times before came walking up to our table apologizing because "she didn't know it was her table." sigh..... I decided to order this incredible eggplant sandwich, which turned out to be the least incredible thing I've ever consumed. It was practically oiled up, chewy eggplant with about two pounds of cheese on top of it and thrown on a soggy bun so that when you go to take your first bite, everything falls out and you're left with a pile of $12 slop. The only positive thing I have to say about this place is that the cheesecake is good. Also, $7.25 for a beer? REALLY?
