My first ever Sonic experience... A faux modern drive-in of sorts!? brilliant. Let us all forget the food is still dangerously unhealthy because someone brings it OUT to the car! Happy hour without booze? Only if your slushies and shakes ROCK. And they do, so half off at Happy Hour. nice. My toaster, perfect. My companions ate a myriad of chili cheese dogs with random accompaniments. All eaten in our car, on a breezy evening in Louisiana... Not bad. Not bad at all...

I have had a few items off the menu here, but the main reason I like to patronize Sonic's is for their 1/2 price shakes and malts after 8 pm. I love a chocolate malt, especially one with lots of malt powder. I usually order mine with extra malt powder as I like to feel that semi harsh "burn" as I chug it down. You can keep the lid and the straw; as I'm chugging. LOL I have also sampled the following: Footlong Quarter pound coney dog - I love a great hot dog, but this isn't it. It's a solid dog and definitely filling. But don't expect it to be like Dat Dog, or if you're from L.A, don't expect it to be like Pinks or the The Stand. Chicago Dog - If you like Chicago dogs, then this one aint so bad. However, I just can't get used to tomatoes or pickles on my hot dog. Ched R Peppers - Decent deep fried chedder cheese chunk with bits of jalapeno. Been there, done that. But not again. Contrary to what you may think of all my recent snowball posts, I have actually been eating farily healthy lately. Therefore, I have been skipping the malts at sonic and enjoying the low cal diet cherry limeade. The cherry limeade is the perfect summertime fun drink. All it needs is a "splash of rum". Hmmmmm, that's not a bad idea. Cheers!

I come here just for the Chicago dogs and fries!!! They are absolutely fantastic. It comes with onions, pickle spears, tomatoes, relish, sport peppers, celery salt and mustard on a poppy-seed bun. It's a must try if you love hot dogs!!!

Messed our slushys up. Tasted like the wrong flavor. Popping candy didnt pop. Alot of playing going on over the intercom and at the window. Wouldn't go back again.

Sonics in place of McDonalds used to be how I could tell I was in the boondocks. Not so much anymore. Honestly, I think Sonics are a step up. More varied menu, and breakfast any time they're open.

It's a Sonic. What can you say? I pulled in, ordered a cherry limeade and got a cherry limeade. Service was fast and it was happy hour so I got a large for a little over a dollar. Win.

So I added photos to the wrong Sonic. Once again, I am a smart... So this Sonic is fine, but it can be slow. Although the one time they were SUPER slow, I got a coupon for a free drink the next time I came. Had to use that as the strawberry limeades are delish.

The food was hot and yummmmmay but I asked for a reg order of tots and received medium, which only had 8 tots? Which means I paid 20 cents a tot? Kinda cheeky. I would have ordered more but didn't wanna look like "that girl"... but other than that it was yummy as usual. Would be cool if skates were mandatory, when I worked there I wore them!

There are a couple of servers/cashiers who work the drive-thru who are incredibly pleasant to deal with -- always smiling, friendly, polite, and helpful. I go here at least once or twice a week for unsweet tea because it's usually very good and I LOVE their ice. Did you know you can buy a whole bag of their ice? Super cool! The new hotdog line-up is a joke. GREAT idea, but really, a bun that is TWICE the size (length and width) of the hotdog is ridiculous. Yeah, the picture shows the hotdog hanging out of the end of the bun. Ha! The picture doesn't show the whole product. If it's hanging out of the bun on one end, its other end only reaches the middle of the bun. And, it's NOT the meaty kind of hotdog you'd get from a street vendor -- which is what I believe they are trying to replicate. It's the cheapest quality of any basic weiner the whole "Chicago Hot Dog" experience was ruined for me. Charge me more if you have to -- just do whatever it takes to make the purchased product like the photographs all over the place.

The good: open late and the desserts are great. Oh, and tater tots kick ass. The bad: This location is slooooow. Horribly slow. Don't stop there if you only a few moments to spare. Other than that, it's a Sonic. It's fast food. What else is there to say?

This sonic has its ups and downs. The burgers are good of they actually make them correctly, the hotdogs are alright for fast food. But if you come here when there are not many people you might see yourself getting what looks like the leftovers of burnt dried up fries or broken tots. I come here often and a lot of the time I hear a man screaming inside at the employees (poor things). The carhops are friendly and helpful and some even go out of their way for just a $1 tip. The shakes and blasts are better than most fast food places that serve ice cream. Their mozzarella stick are amazing. And if you come between 2-4 you can get to for 99cents and a half price drink. They have a few hiccups with actually making the burgers correctly and cooking things like grilled chicken all the way through. Also... If you come during the lunch hour, and park close to the building, for entertainment, listen to the man inside. It sucks that I hear him yelling at the employees but the insults are pretty interesting. I actually saw a carhop getting yelled at as she was walking out of the door and he followed her. I would hate to get on his bad side. Anyways. Decent food but over priced is the way to go here. I hope you enjoy your visit!

Great tasting burgers. The problem is that it gets its great taste from fat. I 'm willing to bet Sonic has the fattest burgers of all the fast food burger joints. Still, if it's all about taste and you have a few ticks left on the ol' ticker then spend a few enjoying the Sonic burger with cheese -just make sure you exercise a lot and take pills for cholesterol!

Wow, haven't visited this location in a while, and I must say that the food and service was very good!!!!!

Four stars for the shakes! They are fresh-made, not that artificial syrup crap McDonald's and Rally's have. If you go at happy hour they are half off. I believe happy hour is from 2-4, maybe after 8 pm as well? I also like the hot dogs here. The chicken strips are burgers are good, not great. The tater tots are delicious! Fries, not so much. This particular location has a drive thru window as well as the drive in. Sometimes the drive thru is faster.

Slushy slushy slushy. Their slushy is why I come. The service of this place is that of any other fast food restaurant. There are some nice workers but most just wants to get your order fast and move onto the next customer. However the lady that brought the food to our car was very friendly and it definitely made up for the rushed service from the intercom. Bad news. No roller skates. The set up sonic is that of the vintage drive in diners but they have forego the skates I would assume due to safety reasons. But it's still neat to drive up with friends order and eat in the car and chat about SLuSHY! Food wise it is fast food standard. Burgers and fries and tater tots. What makes them stand out is, you guessed it, their slushies! They have a big selection of slushies and milkshakes. Recently they added nerds candy flavors. I got the blue raspberry nerds slushy and it was delicious. My default favorite is usually the lemonberry slushie tastes like strawberry lemonade. Recommendations: try their slushies!

I generally like this location the manager is really nice and the staff are friendly. This visit however wasn't the best one. The stall I was at the button lite up but no one ever took my order I stayed at that stall for 10 minutes with the light on thinking they were just busy until a man next to me pulled up and his worked right away. So I then had to move to another stall, I ordered but the card machine at the stall was reading my card. The girl was really nice and took care of it for me. Food was good which I must say they are pretty consistent, but definitely need to upgrade the restaurant stalls.

Always itching to get the chili cheese tots with onions, never disappointed. The only issue is that when you order in the drive thru line instead of one of the bays, when you pull up to the window, they don't acknowledge you right away and collect your payment. I'm usually waiting 3-5 minutes before someone comes to the window to collect payment and give me my order. I just think they should at least greet you at the window, even if they don't take your payment right away.

Staff here are rude and screamed at me to hold. Left me waiting and didn't bother to answer again.
