Ordered 2 calzones for pick up on a Friday Place was dead. Staff was all nice but seemed as if they were baking more than pizza. Calzones were small and did not have ricotta. Tasted good but lacking without the ricotta. Also over priced

The food is always very good and the service is excellent. I eat here at least once a month and would recommend it for groups. Try the sweep the floor breadsticks for a real treat.

Good meatball calzone nearly the size of my head. Someone built to normal human-scale would have been bringing leftovers home.

K and I recently revisited this Rotolo's location after almost two years. It was the first restaurant we went to together and we hadn't been back since. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip to start with, and it was great. The bread you get with it seems to be made from the same dough as the pizza. It went perfectly with the cheesy, creamy dip. Then we shared a BBQ Chicken Pizza and the Pesto Marguerite pasta. The pizza was a little too sweet for my taste but still pretty good, and the pasta was a tad too salty but again, pretty good. I liked that the pizza crust wasn't hard. We brought leftovers home and finished them up at dinner. We'll keep Rotolo's on our list of casual dining options.

Trying to call this location to place an order for pick up and an answering machine picks up and you leave a message??? This is a restaurant not a doctor's office. Have someone pickup the phone please.

Didn't even get a chance to eat. They close at 10 pm normally, we arrived at 930, we're told that because the entire dining room had a large party, that they weren't taking anymore tables. The party was in the process of leaving, and a couple of tables were clean, so they could have taken us. They should have put a sign on the door saying, "Closed for private party." Ridiculous, we only had a party of two, they could have served us. It will be a while before we try this place again. They practically, in a nice way, refused our service.

I went here for the first time tonight and it was pretty good. I ordered takeout and got the deluxe combination calzone with double sausage instead of pepperoni. The waitresses were very nice when I picked up my food, the price was good (under $10!), and the calzone was decent. The sausage was not the kind I prefer but was ok and the marinara side was ok and definitely better once I reheated it! The crust was good and the calzone was presented well. Overall, I would go back...especially since they have $5.99 calzones on Wednesday!

Came here when we saw Tower of Pizza (which had great reviews) across the street didn't open 'til 5pm. Fast service, good pizza, good price.

Ordered a takeout pizza and it was inedible. Threw it out and ate leftovers. Ordered the Deluxe (pepp, saus, green pepp, etc). There were 4 pieces of green pepper on the whole pizza. Crust tasted like it was recently frozen and reheat. It tasted like it was cooked three days prior and reheated in the microwave. Cheese and toppings did not even cover anywhere near the edges. Had great success at Calzones in Belle Chasse for lunch but these are two different stores with different management.

I visit this location pretty much the week after my birthday every year for like 4 years now. Things to keep in mind.... Sign up for their newsletter to hear about the deals as well as get a Birthday Coupon. They have a great selection of appetizers which is my favorite. I love their wings, Try the Joe Horn BBQ sauce. Talk about a delicious treat! The pizza, I think no matter which one you go with you are in for a treat. They are filling and delicious. Plus: You can take the go-cups which is very cool. This is a good place to take families. Very quiet.
