Waffle House is good and cheap food and especially tastes great at 2 or 3 AM when you're coming home from being out indulging too much. That's exactly what brought me to this particular Waffle House one night at 2 AM. Service is pretty good and prompt and the food was that like you would expect from a Waffle House. What sets this visit apart were the people who were in the restaurant that night. Apparently there were a few soccer teams traveling, so the so the restaurant was filled with preteen boys. That was not as strange as the table right next to us that happened to contain the most irritating and annoying woman on the planet. We will refer to her as Sierra's mom from this point on. Sierra's mom was at the table with her two young daughters who were probably around 9 and 5 years old. They have no apparent reason to be there at 2 AM other then the "mom" seemed to be coming off of some drug binge and need some food. Sierra's mom has a very high pitched and irritating voice. She also spoke very, very loudly, so we could hear her entire conversation. She spent most of their meal yelling at her children and basically just being horrible. The worst part though was whenever she got up to leave and she went to pay the bill the young teenaged guy at the register must have been to her liking, so she proceeded to try to mack on him. It was pretty pathetic and disturbing to watch especially since she was old enough to be his mother and her flirting skills were atrocious. When her daughter interrupted the train wreck (probably to tell her mom that she was dead tired and let's just go home already) Sierra's mom loudly said, "Sierrrraaaaa, can't you see I'm talking to a grown up? When I'm talkin' to adult, you zip your lips, ya heard?" Sierra has three syllables...she stretched out the name so much it sounded like it had five coming out of her mouth. Sierra's mom, if you're out there, shame on you, lady. Shame on you.

This is an average Waffle House. The first thing I noticed was the padded backrest in my booth was broken on one side and it was hanging down to the seat. Classy. lol Although the table had been cleaned it was still nasty with food and stuff sticking to my arms. The waitress noticed the disgusted look on my face and came over to clean it so I will give her a plus. The food was delivered quickly and was alright. Nothing to complain about there. I really like the blueberry waffles!

Waffle House is one of the cheapest breakfast spots around. For this trip I actually went during normal breakfast hours. My normal routine is to visit after 2:00a.m. for a late night snack. The crowd is quite different during the day. On this trip I estimated only 25% of the diners were intoxicated. After 2:00 a.m. it is closer to 90% drunks. The restaurant wasn't crowded so we grabbed a booth. There are only booths and a few chairs at the bar. The waitress greeted us immediately and took our order. Amazingly I had never had breakfast items at a Waffle House so I decided to try a Western Omelet. The hash browns were ordered in traditional WH fashion by asking for doubled, covered(cheese), smothered (onions) and peppered (jalapenos). The omelet was ok, but not spectacular. It was loaded with fresh ingredients and cooked well and I did enjoy it, but I've also had better. The hash browns were wonderful. Loaded with butter and cooked on the hot griddle, hash browns don't get much better than this. We enjoyed Waffle House. If you're looking for a decent, reasonably priced breakfast, give them a try.

Wow I can't believe this Waffle House doesn't have more horrible reviews. I've been to every Waffle House in the mandeville Covington area and unfortunately I live right next door to this one so I have to order from there when I want Waffle House. First off trying to place an order there is nearly impossible, about 8 out of 10 times they don't answer the phone and when they do they usually have an excuse as to y they can't take ur order. For example I just called in to place an order and they told me they were at full capacity and could not take my order but I could go there and place and order to go. To my surprise (sarcasm) they're were 6 people in there. Order was wrong as usual and I got attitude as usual when I pointed that out. Sad thing is I believe in tipping really well sometimes overtipping which I always do even when Waffle House treats the customer like crap, I need to quit doin that but as a bartender it almost impossible for me to leave a lousy tip. In conclusion...Waffle House ...U SUCK! But ur food is yummy :)

Waffle House is great for hang overs! The service was great. Eggs perfectly cooked, extra bacon and the a pecan waffle that soaks up all your sins. Two people, a ton of food for $14. If you drink make Waffle House your next morning stop!

Good food at a reasonable price. Service can be spotty at times. Can't go wrong with the All-Star Special for breakfast. Don't pass up the hashbrowns... scattered, smothered and covered of course.

Food was good but the workers were slow.. messing up the order.. had a had time calling the order to the cook.. had to explain to the cook what i wanted.. mistakes were still made.. this site has a bunch of green ear rookies..But they did get the job done my food was great..
