Amazing food and warm and welcoming service. I had the 1/4 muffaleta combo and it was tasty! All the food is made fresh. I would come back next time I pass through these parts. Note that the current address will not lead you to victory. The address is in some postal service black hole. Plug 300-302 Stanton St, Newllano, LA 71461 into google to get you here.

While I liked how clean and homey the place felt, I didn't think too much for their muffuletta. Maybe I'm just not a fan of the sandwich, but still, the exorbitant cost seems a bit high for this sandwich. A buddy of mine also got the Philly cheesesteak and was also dissatisfied with the portions and price. I think if you're in the mood for a sandwich of sorts, Fat Boy and Skinny's is probably a better bet. Not only was the price a bit steep for what we got, their confusing promotions and lack of attention to detail knocked off the extra star. We were overcharged for our drink and something else even though it was supposed to come for free with their sandwich special. Anyway, I thought the food could use more fresh vegetables and lower the price a bit. Just my opinion...

While visiting a friend in Leesville, I told her that I had two requirements: Checkers and Cajun food. We swung by here for lunch one day. Pros: The onion rings. Oh my gosh, I don't think I've ever been so happy. The desserts: pumpkin spice cake and funnel cake fries. They were amazing. The owner was INCREDIBLY nice, treating everyone like a new friend, rather than a random customer. It felt like eating at someone's grandma's house, but in a good way. Cons: My muffuletta was salty. Really salty. I'm sure that's from the cured meats and olive salad, but I found myself picking the sandwich apart to eat it and tone down some of the sodium. There was also all sorts of religious paraphernalia all over the walls. It didn't really phase me, but I can imagine how it would be rather off-putting for some diners. And it was just odd. They also had this sauce, just referred to as "the dipping sauce." I was expecting some sort of remoulade, being a cajun restaurant. It was a creamy salsa, of sorts. Delicious with the onion rings, though.

Small restaurant located in the historic district of Leesville, La (they are moving to 5th St. soon and will be located right beside B.J.'s Diner). I went there after seeing their menu online and watching Adam Richman attempt a 6lb. muffuletta challenge on Man v. Food. The muff looked good, and when I found this place I figured "why not?" Like other small town food spots, it's hit or miss and "Little Easy" was a hit. I went on my lunch break (stationed at Ft. Polk) and was greeted by the owner who not only thanked me for my service but told me about her family member who had served in the Air Force during the Gulf War. She was very friendly and a sweet woman. As for the food, when I got there I had a few things in mind to try, but I saw they have a whole muff challenge. If you can eat a whole 2lb. muffuletta in 30 min. or less you get a t-shirt and your picture on the wall. Inspired by Man v. Food, I decided to forgo my culinary quest to accept the challenge. I finished the muff in 8:45 to set a new "Little Easy" record. Believe it or not, I did actually taste the muff in the time I wolfed it down and it was great. The bread was fluffy and although I prefer melted cheese the traditional muff middle was good. Prices are good (da whole muff was under $15) and they have a lunch special of 1/4 muff, chips, and drink for I think $7. Sides include traditional BBQ fair like baked beans and slaw, but also have sweet potato and french fries. I will definitely be back because I believe they offer a BBQ buffet Friday and Saturday nights and I would like to try their Po-Boys, Da Deluxe Muff, and of course the BBQ.

The staff is extremely friendly, the prices are fair for portion size, and the food was delicious. The 1/4 muffuletta with BBQ chips was great. It was very high in sodium but stiil flavorful, so my water cup was a good choice. The red velvet cake was excellent.

This place is a cutle little sandwich shop. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner came out to say hello. I had the 1/4 muffuletta and the fried banana peppers are definitely worth giving a try!! The have a compititation if you can eat a whole muffuletta (size of a plate) in less than 30 min, you get a t shirt and your picture taken to put on their wall.

We stopped by just as they were about to close on a Saturday afternoon. The owner was fabulous! She welcomed us right in and took our orders ( we opted to carry out since we had other errands to run.) We ordered da whole muffuletta, redneck nachos and the chocolate eruption cheesecake. I would recommend all 3! The cheesecake was out of this world. By far the best dessert I've EVER ordered. There are literally no words for it! If you are visiting the Fort Polk area for any reason and it's the only thing you eat while you're in town, trust me, you won't be disappointed.

This place used to be so good, but they moved to a smaller location, got rid of good menu items, and raised their prices. Used to love it now I won't even eat there.

The owners are very sweet. Great service. The food was delicious - I recommend the Natchitoches meat pie meal. Everything I tried there was amazing, including the red velvet cake.

The staff make this joint! You really get a family feel. Little pricey for the portions and quality. If your into 'Food Challenges' they have one but don't substitute your need to feed for the contest you may come away disappointed. If you want your face on the wall and bragging rights step right up.
