It's Lent & it's Fridaaaay! That means here in Lafayette, Louisiana, every Friday during Lent you will find the best seafood ever. Whether you want it fresh off the boat, frozen, fried, stuffed or boiled, Lafayette has it all. But! If you want really delicious boiled shrimp, perfectly cooked with the perfect amount of Cajun seasoning, the Crawfish Spot is the place to go! Very convenient location on the corner of Pinhook & Kaliste Saloom with a drive thru or a clean casual dine in area. The shrimp were nicely priced for very large, not jumbo, but not small/medium shrimp being sold as large. The BEST of all... these perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, perfectly sized peel & eat shrimp are de-headed & de-veined! I was in shrimp Heaven! My next trip I'm planning to dine in. They now sell cold beer. And there is nothing better than yummy, hot boiled shrimp, cold beer & a designated driver! Live Lent Live Well & Live Lafayette!
