Best dern chicken tortilla soup ive eaten since moving here. It was very fresh!! Margarita was excellent as well. They were pretty busy but service was on point. The band was also really good. We will certainly come back. I took away a star because the restrooms were absolutely filthy!! My 3 year old refused to go potty....she said she'd hold it. Terrible restrooms.

Food was good. Did not get a single refill the entire time we were there. Was never acknowledged for drinks. Silverware came with only a single fork and only had one wrapped at our table. When asked for silverware, we were brought a random assortment of different items and they were just placed on the table. There was also random karaoke going on and couldn't even hear the person sitting across from me in the booth.

Terrible service. A year ago a waiter spilled an entire coke on me and then blamed me for it. We spoke to the manager and all he did was give us a free queso dip. I had to shop that say with coke on my clothes. The next time (and it will be the last), my family went after church. There were only a few people there and the waitress was horrible. It took almost 1 1/2 hours to leave the restaurant, she got all our orders wrong, and left me waiting 10 minutes for the sour cream I wanted, at which time my food was cold. Don't bother talking to the manager. He made her apologize and never offered even a 5% cut on our bill. Horrible customer service. I only gave it 2 stars because the food was halfway decent.

So far sitting here over 15 min and no one has taken a drink order much less chips and salsa. The wait staff is clueless if they have more than one table to serve. Front of house manager is polite but sloppy dressed. Now on to the food! Kids eat free on Mondays and apparently it's not a huge draw as again previously stated, the wait staff is definitely the "b" team tonight. The fajitas for one look like a kids portion. Taste good but small. My wife says mine at home are better.......! The tortillas are fantastic on the other hand! Kids chicken tenders are frozen type tenders, good but not fresh. All in all not sure if I will return, except for lunch drinks and chips.

At one point, the phone rang for several minutes and the manager ignored it. Since it was bothering us, we offered (I am serious) to answer it. Manager thanked us but asked that we not answer the phone as the caller would, eventually, give up. Our waitress arrived at our table apologizing for having a bad night. What? Most waiters and waitresses don't apologize until they drop a drink on my head or get my order wrong. By the time the meal was served, I understood why she was apologizing. The kitchen should have apologized to the entire Mexican people for the sorriest substitute for Mexican food that I ever tasted. I realize that Americans serve Tex-Mex but, having lived in Austin, I can truthfully say that this didn't come close to Tex-Mex (or to food) I could write a horrific story about my experience but I don't want to relive it and, by now, you get the point that this restaurant is a disappointment. (I am still incredulous at the manager's attitude.) You work hard so you deserve a good meal but you won't find it here. Finally, if you do risk eating here, note that the suggested tip amounts at the bottom of the ticket are wrong. The 15% tip was really 27%, the 20% tip was really 37%, and the 25% tip was really 46%. Ordinary mistake? Incredible incompetence? Outright dishonesty?

Came here for 1 to have a late lunch and the service is awful. The food is okay but nothing compared to real Tex-mex. I waited 25 minutes for a server and it was only me inside the restaurant. The cooks were on their phones, joking, laughing and eating food from their hands. So you can imagine how long it took us to get our food. So becareful what times you go there to eat, just because it's not packed doesn't mean it'll be faster. The people working for lunch until 5pm are super lazy and would rather play on their phones. The manager is also really crappy. He sees all this happening and he's just watching TV. Pinche puta

It took us about an hour to get our food. The waitress told us "the kitchen was backed up" but the place was almost empty. The margaritas were WAY too sweet and when the food came out it was not as good at all! I won't be recommending it to anyone.

We stopped in here on a family trip and the food was reallly good. The service was great too. We would definitely go here again!

Posodo's get your act together! You have some things going for you but the problems you have are just to much to see me come back. Your tortillas are great and fresh but, your servers plate them with there bare hands. chances are 90% of the servers that are running to grab tortillas hands are contaminated. How can you let something like they fly especially out in plain view! Food comes out cold, not oh it's just bit hot enough. Certifiably refrigerator cold on 2 items. You do seem to have good quality meat... But could you cook it for me first? As most of the previous reviews state. Horrendous service!!! Wow, what a rude, careless, and obviously unclean staff you keep. Such a shame for this beautiful building. Your management comped our whole meal like they do it every day. Your profits are slipping.

This is a super tasty Mexican place. Pretty much your average Mexican restaurant. You get the yummy rice and beans on the side. Not sure why this place has such poor reviews. I think it's pretty cool and it's always dead so I get all the service. They also give you warm tortillas at the end that you put butter and honey on and eat like a desert. It's free and it's good.

To start off two servers at check in podium just stood there then walked away without saying a word to us. The margaritas were terrible. The first too weak. The second too strong. The third was just right because we got a glass of mix and shots of tequila and made our own. And the food was not good at all. After living in the south west for 10 plus years and knowing what real mexican food taste like this was another let down. Great looking location but that's it.

My sisters and I took our dad here for his birthday after not being able to get in without a significant wait at other restaurants in the area. We should have just endured the wait somewhere else. Our waitress was a real ditz and got four out of six orders wrong. Our orders took an hour and a half to be brought to the table and the food was just ehhh. I wouldn't return here and I suggest you skip it as well. Sorry, Posados.

We had a great experience. Enchiladas were great. Live music was a nice touch we didn't expect on a Thursday nite. I was scared after reading the reviews, but I was stuck on a field trip and had no choice. We were very pleasantly surprised!! Maybe management took those reviews to heart.

It's a real shame that great Mexican food at a place like this is ruined by constantly horrible service from the wait staff. I could go into details but the problem is there are far too many examples which is where the problem lies as other reviewers will tell you. Pick up the food as a to to order or better yet check out somewhere else like El Paso or Acme Taco and save yourself the pain.

When traveling for business, I like to stick to places I know I like. So I was glad to see a Posados in Lafayette. I always stop at the Bossier City location when I am there and love the food there and they make a great margarita! This location was no different. The nacho's were awesome (always more than I can eat) and the frozen margarita was great too. I usually sit at the bar so service isn't really a problem but everyone around me seemed to be well taken care of. One thing that this location has that I never saw at the Bossier City location was music! I forget the name of the band but they were really good . . .and not to loud or obnoxious for a dinner atmosphere. Good job Posados! Keep it up and I will always seek you out when I am traveling.

Man, this place is horrible! Food was bad, but the service was atrocious! On Cinco de Mayo you are understaffed? Great move management. Took 30 minutes to get a crummy sampler platter and then another 30 minutes to get the bill.

This is a border line Mexican restaurant failure. The decor and atmosphere makes an attempt but fails. The food is below average as is the service. We rate our Mexican restaurants on Margarita numbers -- how many Margarita's it would take to make it perfect. This is a 3 or 4. So, if we were nearly passing out it probably would have been great.

If you're looking for awesome americanized mexican food in lafayette, this is the place to go. It's a little more expensive than I'm used to, but lafayette is somewhat more of an expensive city than baton rouge. The chimichanga is delish, but then I've never met a chimichanga I didn't like. The real treat? all you can eat sopapillas and soft serve ice cream at the end. I know soft serve ice cream isn't traditionally found at mexican places, but try some on top of some sopapillas... you'll thank yourself. I'm told for a small fee ($3-4ish) you can enjoy all the chips and salsa, tortillas, sopapillas and ice cream you want. That sounds like a pretty good deal to me, especially if you're in a munchies kinda mood and don't want a real dinner.
