This is the best hibachi grill in town, hands down. Their sushi is decent, but you won't find a better hibachi meal in town. I've been coming here every Christmas Eve with my family ever since I can remember, and I don't get tired of this place. It's also a great place to go on a date, but keep in mind it's a hibachi grill so you'll be sharing a table with someone else. It's great if you're a social person :) My only complaint is that they can be a bit salty sometimes. Over-flavored. But that's just me being picky, most likely.

Place is terrible as far as food. Dinner comes with soup and salad. Soup came in a tiny tiny cup with some sort of chip soaked in and it tasted like a those cheap powder broth, nothing else. Salad came dressed with regular mayo. Chicken chibata came over-salted and not real good, taste not good overall

This is the best hibachi restaurant in Lafayette by far! This is where we always go to celebrate birthdays or when we are craving hibachi. It has been in Lafayette a long time and has recently been renovated. Wait staff isn't always great but it is worth it. The chef's are fabulous and do a great job. Don't think I have had a bad experience yet!

The best hibachi in Lafayette. Don't be fooled by other imitators. This is the best, authentic hibachi. Everything is good here. The chefs know what they are doing and most of them having been doing it for a long time-unlike the other wanna-be hibachi restaurants. Kids love it!

Don't let the name fool you, the cuisine at Peking Gardens is Japanese, NOT Chinese. Peking Gardens was established in 1977 (before Peking became Beijing) serving fine Chinese and hibachi and was the first restaurant of its kind in Lafayette, LA. Times have changed, and these days they only offer Hibachi and Sushi, using only the freshest meat, seafood, and vegetables. Lunch and dinner is cooked right in front of you by distinguished and talented chefs on a flat bed hibachi grill. The salad dressing and special sauces are home-made, all part of a one-of-a-kind experience. NO MSG certified by the federal health department. Available Entrees: Hibachi Chicken, Hibachi Shrimp, Hibachi Steak, Hibachi Filet, Hibachi Lobster, Hibachi Snapper, Hibachi Tilapia, Hibachi Combination and Sushi.

Worst hibachi place I ever ate and worse service ever. First my kid ordered a sprite then got a coke. I ordered a coke got a dr. Pepper. Then we sat at the grill for hr and half. The filets we're supposed to medium rare had to hola at the chef that doesn't kno English to stop cooking them but he didn't cuzz he don't kno what ur saying but nods his head yes. Then had to pay over a hundred dollars for three. Horrible place never again.
