There's a lot of good food in Lafayette, but this should be in everyone's rotation. The bad news is you may wait a few minutes longer for food than you do in some other places...the good news is it's worth the wait if you're not in a big hurry. I'd recommend the shrimp po boys, the oyster po boys, the burgers, and the gumbo...all are excellent. The order takers/servers are extremely efficient and pleasant. Try it once and you'll be back.

Try the burgers! Everything is seasoned good and served hot! The burgers and gumbo is a must and if you want a poboy get your favorite! You won't be disappointed! Clean bathrooms, friendly staff and fantastic food!

Their burgers here are excellent. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection! I haven't ever had a poboy, but I love their burgers! Their prices are reasonable as well.

The gumbo is delicious...whether chicken and sausage or seafood... both are equally good. And well priced, too. You can get two bowls to go (yes bowls, not cups) for just over $12, whereas at other places in town, one small cup of gumbo can approach $9. Their fried catfish is perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked every time...and there's a ton of it in the catfish platter! Their fried shrimp is equally delicious. This is an awesome place to run in and grab a quick lunch or dinner. I had totally forgotten about this place, but rediscovered it about 3 months ago. Glad I did! Sometimes you just need a fix of good ol' Cajun cookin', and this place is spot on every time.

Walked in and the place was nice and service was very good. I ordered a oyster Poboy. It was so spicy that you could not taste the oysters. Don't get me wrong I like spicy food, but when the food is so spicy that you can not taste the item you ordered then it is not good. The fries were even over spiced. I will not recommend or ever eat here again.

The atmosphere of Louisiana poboys is nice. There is plenty of seating area as well as a half booth on one side of the restaurant. Their seafood poboys are pretty good but I normally get the Louisiana Club poboy. The fries are meh but they do season them. I know they also sell gumbo but haven never had the urge to try it.
