Yummy! Yummy and more Yummy! The bread here is absolutely the best in Lafayette and the service is pretty stellar. I have never seen people smile so much in a bakery and it is infectious! The loafers club is an awesome thing as well because that means you get MORE bread! The coffee is ok here as well. Typical bakery coffee but a little heavy and dark for my tastes.

Was recommended by a friend, and completely worth the trip! They have all kinds of bread and flavors for all kinds of taste buds. Want chocolate? They have brownies. Want pizza? They have pepperoni rolls. Like cinnamon? They have cinnamon bread. Heavenly.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. I love passing here when I'm in Lafayette early during the day. Their baked goods are soooo... good! I am obsessed with their bayou bars, and during strawberry season they had a strawberry studded pound cake (in muffin size, too!) that was to die for! Their lunchtime sandwiches are also very good.

Loving this place! My husband and I love to go here on a Saturday afternoon! The staff here is amazing. They are so upbeat, friendly and fun. You don't find people like that at most places. Thanks Great Harvest Bread Co. for not only being delicious, but awesome too :)

I was in Lafayette today for an errand and when I mentioned getting lunch before I drove back to Baton Rouge, someone suggested Great Harvest. It was right across the street from where we were, and she said they had the best chicken salad sandwich she'd ever had. So I gave it a shot, and I am GLAD I did. The chicken salad definitely ranks up there with some of the best I've had, and I LOVE all the locally sourced options! Zapps potato chips, Swamp Pop cola... And the idea that they are a certified Green restaurant, and the first of it's kind in Louisiana, was impressive. The bread was excellent, the service was good, the food was delicious. I only wish I'd been more prepared... I could have bought one of everything to take home! I think this is going to be a regular stop for me when I'm in Lafayette from now on.

Amazing bread and pastries. Excellent service. It will be a regular stop in the future whenever I am in Louisiana.

Probably the most bread I've ever had on a sandwich, but that's a good thing cause the bread here is great. Cinnamon rolls were great. Totally over priced in my opinion, but otherwise great place to go if you really like tasty bread, and a lot of it, on your sandwiches.

Loooooooove the cinnamon rolls. They are the size of a brick, soft and not too sweet. Wished they opened before 7am as that is when my workday starts.

Delicious fresh pastries and bread! Thrilled to find this place passing through. I highly recommend the pizza rolls and chocolate chip cookies

Great treat for baked goods! VERY friendly staff, working behind the counter in full view -apparently really enjoying their jobs. The cinnamon rolls (especially un-glazed) are incredible with a hot cup of (inexpensive) coffee. Scones are also excellent, and there's often something unusual worth trying. A "must go" stop when our daughters are in town.

I can't tell you how great this place is. I'm a part of the loafers club, which gets you a free bread after (I think) 10 purchases. It could be 12. If you're a regular here, I recommend getting the card. Anyway, the bread is so yummy. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet, or something savory, you're sure to find something here. I also think this place is EXCELLENT for gifts. I got all seven of my teachers the cinnamon burst extreme for teacher appreciation week. They all LOVED it. It's also a kind gesture to get a loved one a yummy loaf of bread if they're going through a rough time, or just to congratulate them on something. Bread is a universal gift. The company also sells little treats like cookies and tea cakes, along with homemade sauces and dips. Or you can have a meal here and pick up a sandwich and some SweetLeaf tea. Another awesome thing they offer are a lot of premixed bags of either cookies or even soups that help start you off, but that you bake/cook at home. This is a fun project for kids (and adults because you know it will taste good). You can also sample a lot of things. On yet ANOTHER good note, probably my favorite thing about this place, is that they offer a large amount of their products in whole wheat. This is great for those health conscious people because they don't have to miss out on a divine experience. Friendly staff. It feels like a happy place when you walk in.

Mmm.... I had their cappuccino which is properly executed and balanced. I am very picky about cappuccino. I've also sampled their bakery items and they dont skimp on the sample. You can get full on their samples! The beer gouda bread is exactly as it tastes. Get it if you enjoy that combo. Also the cinnamon scone is so delicious. It has the hint of cornmeal and slightly sweet which is perfect for breakfast. Try this place and you wont be disappointed. One last thing, staff is friendly and you'll feel welcomed.

Yummy baked goods, friendly staff.. A little overwhelming at first with their selections, but take your time and look around, you won't be disappointed, you also get a lagniappe treat upon your arrival.

So my husband suggested this place for lunch (as craving for a nice sandwich). The chicken salad sandwich was .. SO good! I was so impressed with the quality and staff I went again before Christmas and bought 2 loaves of bread( a soft braided loaf, and a desert bread called brownie bread) I was most impressed with the brownie bread. It had the consistency and texture of a banana bread, but it tasted like a chocolate brownie. mmmm. at nearly 15 bucks for 2 loaves of bread ( though the quality makes it worth it) I'm not sure I'll make an every day stop in but Ill definitely be a repeat customer from time to time.
