There once was a couple who were having a bad day. They wanted to go to the Harbor for yummy seafood but it was too darned full...so...HE wanted Thai food and SHE wanted Mexican. So they compromised and got Mexican at Casa Tequila (Ick! Ick! Ick!). Since there was so much cilantro in everything (mixed in so it could not be removed) he watched her eat...listened to a couple ignore their screeching crotch-dropping ...and waited to get some food for himself. Searching, search, searching...Everything was either closed or over-crowded. Stopped in at William's Seafood and Po-boy. They thought the signs in the front bypass cute and went straight to obnoxious, but despite them, the people working there were nice. He ordered a shrimp po-boy, fries and a meat pie. The po-boy was over-stuffed with such large, sweet and perfectly cooked shrimp, that his overly full girlfriend (she ate his nasty cilantro tacos since he couldn't) even had to have a few bites...burps...then bites. All in all, it was a very good po-boy and the meat pie was pretty good too. Liked the fries and the place had character for something in a strip mall in the middle of no-where. The day was saved and the couple will go back. But not to Casa Tequila.

The food is pretty good they have many things to pick from. Every time I come into this place the owner is helping out and very friendly. Good place to get a quick meal and I will come back.

I came to this place to see even if their Philly cheesesteak was good... Boy did I had a heck of a sandwich. I'm most likely just gonna have that for now on since the way the cheese and bell peppers felt like they melted in my mouth while chewing on perfect steak. don't know any better po-boy place around. This is better then harbor seafood

Great prices. Very soft po-boy bread. Seafood fried to my liking. We just discovered this restaurant recently by stumbling across it while making a trip to the Winn Dixie. I like this place because it's a great po-boy shop serving the Kenner area.

We have eaten there three times now and every time was excellent. They have a killer fried oyster platter, and the po'boys are great too. This place is well worth your time.

After reading the reviews I searched this place out (look next to the Subway). Took a while to find but I found it good but not great. My shrimp Po' Boy was OK but nothing special. The Hush Puppies were nothing to write home about. There is a little cajun place near me in GA and they are much better. Overall it is better than Subway but don't drive a long way to get here.

Nice shop, friendly service & a tasty poboy. I ordered the softshell crab poboy and hit it with a squeeze of lemon and a dousing of hot sauce. The crab had a nice crisp but thin breading, nice balance of toppings and great flavor.

So my Dad called me up one day and told me to try the seafood gumbo from this little seafood place in a strip mall. You have to understand my father, he came from a home that made the most delicious food. Luscious New Orleans style seafood dishes and down home Italian. I walked in and placed my order at the counter for a shrimp plate, catfish sandwich (on a bun, which buns aren't on their menu anymore) and a seafood gumbo. I was blown away by the flavor of this gumbo. These people are truly skilled in the kitchen. The roux is dark and rich, the amount of okra is perfect, and it is chock-full of seafood. It reminds me of my grandmother's recipe, which for years I've been trying to perfect. The shrimp are good, the pho is beefy and tasty, the catfish are ok, but whenever I go there that gumbo is spectacular. Dare I say it's the best in the city? Well it is always consistent, which is not usually the case in those fancy restaurants Downtown and in the French Quarter. I love the gumbo from here. Now whenever I order (seafood) gumbo elsewhere I compare it to this place. Great job Williams Seafood and po-boy!!! You brought my taste buds back to my Mimi's!!

Nice lil' Mom-n-pop sandwich shop in a gloomy Kenner shopping center. They offer typical New Orleans sandwich fare: from fried seafood to boudin sausage po' boys. They do have daily hot plate specials (perhaps not on weekend days, though), which aren't half bad. My go to is fried oyster or roast beef with potato salad or a plate of beans. I order take-out monthly from here and will continue to do so. Service is prompt and very friendly, the food is solid and overall I feel good giving this neighborhood shop my business.
