Stopped for the breakfast buffet this morning.........DELICIOUS, INEXPENSIVE and HEARTY! $6.49 per person plus they will cook 2 eggs to your liking. Light, fluffy biscuits, gravy, steak fingers, French toast, pancakes, bacon, rice (the Louisiana way), home fried potatoes, hash browns, and I know I'm forgetting lots! Only thing it was missing was fresh fruit. The waitresses were dressed straight out of Mel's Diner and ALL pleasant with that southern charm. DO NOT MISS THIS STOP! Even though it's a little hard to spot (white sign on a white building) the locals were pouring in for lunch as we were leaving from breakfast.

The best truck stop restaurant this side of the Mississippi. And the staff was delightful and very accommodating. Food and service gets a 10.

What an amazing surprise. Best chicken & sausage gumbo we've ever had. Loaded with meat and no vegetable filler. Chicken and wrap was huge and delicious. We stopped here en route from Baton Rouge to Houston. This is a real find along the interstate where fast food prevails.

The menu was pretty extensive but we were in Louisiana and would be for a few days so I stuck to what the cook probably knew best. I ordered a shrimp po-boy and the person I was with got a bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo. Everything was delicious, despite it being almost closing time, and our server was prompt and courteous. The place had a big seafood buffet as well when I was there but I wasn't hungry enough to justify the $20 price tag. It looked alright though! I would go here again, and definitely NOT the Quiznos as suggested by one of the other reviews!

We wanted breakfast at 10:30 and none of the other places were serving (we should of stopped in Lake Charles). Despite the one review we decided to give the Pitt Grill a try and we were pleasantly surprised. Good eggs and made from scratch pancakes. Friendly, down home country service. They were setting up the buffet as we left and the food looked good. From the conversations around us it was apparent that the place is popular with the locals.
