I have always had great food and service when eating at this location. I love the chicken Alfredo.

Olive Garden is one of the nicer places to go have a meal in Houma. Even though it is a chain the quality of food is good. The service here is hit or miss. I have noticed if the general manager is on duty the restaurant is much better all around. They accommodate people ordering things that aren't on the menu. The environment is intimate but at the same time it's great for the whole family. Today we had a reservation for 10 and ended up having only half of our party show up. The staff was very nice even though we had made to large of a reservation. Overall Olive Garden is one of my better choices for lunch or dinner in Houma. My favorite menu item is the black tie chocolate mousse cake.

Went for lunch, which is a first for me. Had their portobello ravioli and salad. Was terrific! Very rich because of their beschamel /cheese sauce. Normally I don't eat something like that at lunch but it was just the right amount. We also got there just before the lunch crowd.

I have eaten at a lot of olive gardens and this has to be one of the best ones. I had the salmon and broccoli and it was delicious. Our waiter was very good as well.

The staff is very attentive, service is great, and the food is always good. This is a much larger O.G. in comparison with the Kenner location, as well as having much nicer decor. Also, there are plenty of booths; the rarely seen 2-person booths, as well as the larger 4-person booths. Plenty of tables as well. The unlimited soup, salad, bread sticks is my usual, and at lunchtime it is just under $11 - A great deal!

While the service was decent, the food, as well as the issues that accompanied it, were far from. Admittedly, the zuppa Toscana was good, but the chicken parm was lukewarm, the sauce almost straight tomato and you could taste the freezer burn on the meat. My poor wife, though, got the serious raw end of the deal. She ordered the stuffed chicken marsala and asked for fetuccini Alfredo instead if garlic mashed. When it first came out she had the mashed, so mentioned this to the server. Almost 10 minutes later they came back with another plate, this one containing plain chicken marsala and fetuccini but without the Alfredo sauce. When this was brought to the attention of management they argued with us and claimed the stuffed marsala isn't actually stuffed. By the time they finally brought it out correct the rest of our party was done eating, we had to get her proper order to go, so we ended up leaving with her hungry, having to reheat her meal later. The only redeeming thing here is that they didn't charge for her part of the meal. If you plan on eating at this location only do so if Paige is working and you can get seated in her section, she makes sure this type of thing doesn't happen.

The staff are always nice and tentative. I've never been to another Olive Garden that's always consistent with food prep and service as this one. Highly recommend the spaghetti and meatballs. My wife loves the Gluten free menu so don't forget to ask for it!

Food was great as usual for all Olive Gardens but it surprises me that when leaving, two different veichles parked directly in the front was either smoking weed or rolling one up. 11/3 4:42pm. I think the point is that it's a place to eat and socialize inside, not gather in the lot and smoke dope.

Poop. If you like boil in the bag crop then you will like this junk. I keep going back to see if they have improved, it hasn't happened yet. Don't expect to get what you see on the commercials it doesn't look like that.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
