Over the past few years, the only time I'm able to come here is with my best friend and her family. Her dad plays out at Boomtown Casino so their meals get comped a lot. The meals are usually priced high and often a hit or a miss. I think I've stuck with the Filet Mignon all the times I've gone. We've even gotten the chance to try out new dishes before they were put on the menu. Their family has their usual waitress named Elsa. She's very charming and she remembers our drink orders every time. I think she's usually more laid back when we're there. One of the casino host joined us for dinner the other night because some people backed out on coming. The oysters were delicious! We had trays of baked, raw, and cooked oysters. I'm not really an oyster person especially when it comes to raw, but the baked and cook oysters were divine! The crab claws were okay but I enjoyed my entree of the Fillet Mignon. The white chocolate bread pudding was pretty decent. It was soft unlike other times that my friend had it. I was stuffed by the time we left but the meal was a success! The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and quiet. It's air conditioned and the walking distance to the bathroom is a short distance away. The dress code is not overly dressy but don't walk in there in your workout cloths. It's a place that I'd love to bring my parents to try out though. So don't hesitate to give it a try if you're looking for a night of splurging on a good meal!

After a long day of hanging with the senior set, we ended up at this restaurant located in Boomtown Casino. It's their fine dining option, so linens and no queues were the 1st clues we were going to have a good meal. On the plus side, our server was fantastic, and we didn't wait for anything. Otherwise? Well, didn't make it past the appetizers. The seniors did the ordering for the table, and ordered the seafood platter, and Louisiana 'crab fingers', which were fried crab claws with the meat exposed. The breading really overwhelmed the seafood, and everything was seasoned identically, so everything tasted the same. And, I didn't expect a plate of fried food, but I guess that a regional thing, The seniors went on and on about how the food used to be 10 times better and bigger seafood, generous portions, etc. All I can say is, if your casino profits are reflected in what is served to paying customers, then you're in big trouble. Raise the prices, and get some quality food on the table.

I loved their avocado & crawfish salad! Our waiter was friendly and recommended us the banana foster for dessert. It was just okay, but I still enjoyed it. We are coming back to get the salad again!

Crab and avacodo salad is amazing.. our steaks were pretty salty.. overall good.. I have had many great steaks here i just went on a off day... salad made up for it.. could of been 5 star

Ok, Ya thinking "Boomtown? Cheesayyyyyyyy." I normally do not have to go all the way to the Westbank for Boomtown Casino, but since I was on company business, my destination brought me to dinner at Pier 4 on the second floor of Boomtown Casino. Yums is what I have to say. I was so impressed by the food. Yes, the quality of the food was good. Comparable to a high-end restaurant in town and I believe that this was what the casino was aiming for with this particular restaurant. We sat at the Oyster Bar and Jade waited on us. After taking our drinks, she brought us some bread and butter. Yum and warm complete with da butter of course. While waiting for the food, to our left, the oyster shucker was shucking away since it was Friday afternoon and alof of locals on this side of the river seemed to be filling up the restaurant for their share of ersyters. To my right, and everywhere else around me---wide screens, flat screens---the Hornets were kickin some major ass and the assumed locals were getting pretty excited. For appetizers, we had the charboiled oysters, which was good, but not as good as my faves at Acme, but still damn good. I had to share so I didnt get to scarf down the whole dozen, next time I am getting a dozen for myself. Pig? OINKKKKKKKKK For entree, I ordered the Blackened Redfish served over crawfish garlic mash potatoes....OMGGGGGGGG...so friggin good. The Redfish was tender and not dry, some places overcook redfish, but this fish was tender. The mash potatoes was piping hot, butter dripping with a hint of lemon and plenty of crawfish in every bite. The best part was that the mash potatoes came out piping hot underneath that fish. Damnit but it was good. I might treat myself this weekend if no one else will. :( My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My compadres order burgers and couldnt believe how good the Redfish was. Oh well, I gave one of the compadres a sliver and she was hooked. She then wished out loud that she had ordered the Blackened Redfish as I did. Hmphhhhh!!!! Parking at the casino is not a problem as there is PLENTY of parking and shuttles to pick your lazy arse up if you are too lazy to walk to the entrance. Our meal was comped by management since we were there for a company function but they do accept credit cards. They seemed family friendly and kids are allowed as long as accompanied by adults. Oh yeah, dont try to smuggle kids into the casinos.
