I wish I could write an awesome review. I ordered my son's birthday cake a week and a half ago (it was on a Thursday or Friday) and I picked it up the next Saturday (today actually 11/8/14). When I went in to order it and picked the TMNT image I wasn't really excited about their selection, but decided on one in store. The following Tuesday I arrived bright and early to give them the New image I actually wanted, my new image/picture was taped to my receipt so there wasn't any confusion. Saturday morning comes and I arrive at 8:30am to pick up my son's cake, the lady at the counter brings it out, it's the Wrong Picture. They bring out a second cake that has My image on it, it's beautiful, I can't switch out the cakes. It's chocolate on the inside, I ordered white. I was told to come back in an hour, they'll make me a new cake with my picture on it. I come back about 12:45-1pm (because they close at 2 on Saturday) to pick up my new cake, the lady shows me the cake, the editable image printer ran out of ink half way through printing my TMNT picture, half of what should be black in the picture is Blue, and the turtles are faded. Wth? I'm told they did notice the printer was running low on ink with my image, but they still put the faded messed up ink picture on my cake. Are we serious? This is a professional business. You don't have more supplies? This cake is to be the centerpiece of our party. Now, I have a faded image cake (faded images are something I make fun of the cakes at Winn-Dixie about! I send pictures of those cakes into Cake Wrecks!). It's saying you'll "make it right", I come back and then practically get slapped in the face. I had to point out the faded image to the counter lady, I was given $10 back of the cake for the messed up image. It's annoying to have seen the other customer's cake that used My image that I brought in looking so Perfect, and mine comes out looking cheap because the printer was running low and he didn't have time to fit his printer. My family has gotten cakes from Creative for years, when someone asks where to get a cake I always tell them Creative, not anymore, mums the word from me. (I'll probably warn them of my situation) I'm disappointed to say the least.

This is a place that my Dad always used. If he didnt plan it right he might of gotten a older cake, but still a good one. They work best with a order and lead time. But if you dont have that luxury, they always have something there , beautifuly decorated that will fit the bill. I like thier cakes. Fast and friendly staff. BUt dont forget CASH ONLY! Parking lot is kind of a B to move around in. Very tight and crowded parking. Think more traditional cakes, not the new trend of over the top "crawfish pot" looking cakes. Though im sure they can make you one if you ask :-)

EVERY CAKE TASTES LIKE THE BEST WEDDING CAKE YOU'VE EVER IMAGINED HAVING!!!!!! No really, it's the most fantastic, melt-in-your-mouth, dance-around-the-table deliciousness you've ever encountered. It's incredibly sugary and you probably breathe sugar when you walk in the door, but it freezes so well I almost prefer it frozen! It's just SO GOOD! If you want chocolate, go somewhere else. If you want variety, go somewhere else. If you want awesome, this is the place for you. I won't get (or eat) cake from anywhere else. They also serve mini-cakes and petit fours. So delicious...

First off, I'm going to say that my mom LOVES these people's cakes. I have had them, and they are pretty good I must admit. Also, they are very nicely decorated cakes. My reason for the 3 stars was because I really feel that they need to update their place of operations. When i first got there, there was a line wrapping around the inside of the building. I waited in line for about 15 minutes and I then notice the small sign on the cash register "NO CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS" EFF!!!! REALLY?! It is 2011! who has cash on them?! Also, can you please make the sign more noticeable? I understand that the reason for no credit cards is due to the fact that they do not want to pay the fees associated with every transaction. However, in my opinion, if you want to be a thriving business, you are going to have to cater to your customer's needs and preferences. So after I went to the ATM around the corner, I got back in line again and purchased my cake. I will note that the staff was very friendly, and stayed polite even though it was busy as hell. The cake was delicious and wasn't that expensive at all. I would say that their prices are "mid range"

Beautiful cake. Delicious cake. Enough said. I ordered the cake about a week in advance of the party. The birthday girl went picked it up herself. She almost cried when the cake was revealed. I've been familiar with this bakery for about 10 years now. I always suggest Creative Cakes for classy, elegant, delicious cakes.

CAKES ARE CUTE BUT DRY AS DUST Like others I really wish I liked their cakes. They do a pretty good job on the decorating. The cake however, is dry as dust. We ordered one cake for our kid's first birthday that was really cute. When you cut into it, it literally fell apart like dust. Once again, I had another one this week and the same thing. I thought a moist cake was what people wanted. Maybe that just is our taste and not what other people want. CAKES ARE CUTE BUT DRY AS DUST!

I went there to order a cake. I have twin boy/girl and needed something that will incorporate Tinkerbell and pirate into one cake. All I could hear from the sales lady is that "we don't do that". Basically they only do a white cake (no chocolate cake or marble), in the standard shape i.e. square, circle, etc. So, I'm not sure where they get their name "creative" because there's nothing creative about what they offer (which is mostly edible pictures). Getting frustrated, I asked if I can speak to someone else. She was actually able to help and make possible suggestions. We finally got into some sort of understanding of what they "could do" (which will cost me at least $230). Before I leave, I bought a couple of cookies and a cake just to see what the fuss was all about. There was nothing special to it that I can't find at Walmart for $150 less than what they could do. I find their product a little too sweet for me, but I guess that all depends on someone's taste.
