Last year I paid for appetizers and desserts for the catering of my friend's New Years Eve party. It was a big success at the party. I also have order 2 large pizzas which were very good much better than the chains. The desserts and appetizers were so good that people felt guilty about so much but I was like hey go for it didn't cost that much. I'm using them again for this New Years Eve. The great thing about the Italian pie is that it is an oasis for adults with children who insist on pizza or burgers for dinner all of the time. The children will enjoy the pizza ... better than the chain restaurants... and the adults will appreciate the improved quality of cuisine. And it's not expensive. In other words..Dominos is for suckers.

Just waited an hour for this crap hole dump to deliver a chicken parmesan sandwich with no chicken on it. There's a reason all the other ones closed and if you see the pic I posted, its the reason this one needs to.

2 stars because my salad was good. I ordered meatballs & spaghetti & my husband had the shrimp scampi. We ended up splitting my dish because the shrimp scampi was horrible. It was like bad Chinese white sauce on spaghetti. My spaghetti & meatballs were less than average. The meatballs were bland & we didn't like the sauce. We won't eat here again.

Enjoyed a yummy meal at the Italian Pie. I ordered the spaghetti and meatball lunch, with an Italian side salad and bread sticks. Everything was good, only complaint would be with the bread sticks. They are kind of dry and not real tasty... I was trying to dip them in the extra spaghetti sauce on my plate to give them some flavor. The service was good throughout the meal, and the food came out quickly. All in all, a good experience! BOTTOM LINE: Good place for your typical Italian menu items.

Quite a few told me about this place and they kept playing the commercials into to the ground on the radio. I figured that I would give it a try. It was quite a disappointment. The food was NOT very good! I ordered a large pizza. The cheese was good but the sauce was not that great and the crust was terrible. It wasn't much better than chain pizza. In fact I can name 2 pizza chains that have better pizza than them I kind of feel bad giving them a less than stellar review. The lady who took my order was really sweet. As they say here in New Orleans,"It is what it is". In short this was probably the biggest let down I have had in a long time!

We've had this twice now and both times the pizza was very good. We had delivery and pick up service , the delivery was a little slow but it was a Friday evening so that is to be expected. The crust is very flavorful and the portion size for the price and quality was very good.

The Italian Pie offers the typical pizza, sandwiches, pasta and salads selections you would associate with a name such as the Italian Pie. It's always cold here because there is one system and the ovens keep the kitchen hot, so bring a sweater. The servers are helpful, but the service is slow. I've been there when it's crowded and I've been there when it's empty and the wait is the same for your food to come out. The food is tasty and a good value for your dollar.

OMG!! Harahan Italian Pie is Back to the goodness it used to be! There was a transition in owners sometime ago and it was horrible.. kudos to whomever owns it now! My Salad was delicious!

Always friendly and the food is always wonderful. My husband and I have gone here a few times and have never been disappointed.
