First time there I had a cajun burger. It was cooked exactly as asked and was perfect. Second time I had the cowboy steak and it was excellent. It was cooked exactly as asked and the sides were just right. Service was also very good both times with very friendly servers. It is the best place to eat in the area.

Service was adequate but rushed. Very young servers. The ribs were disgusting. Tasted like processed meat with a huge slather of BBQ sauce on top. Had to send back because just couldn't stomach it. They took it off check which is good. Husband's steak was just ok.

I took myself out and picked Double D and I was so disappointed. Order chicken and baked potato, I got the smallest baked potato I've ever seen and thechickenwas over cooked and dry. The table next to me got a stark they had to back he said it was all fat grissil. And to top it all off my bill was $22+ so brought chicken home and feed to the dogs. Very disappointed

My first time will be my last. Was a good start. Short wait time, but everything else was a mess. Menu was printed with a difficult to read font and we were seated in a poorly lit section. Honey butter should be served with the comp rolls. Ungodly expensive for what you get. We oredered the cheese fries for the app which were actually worth the price. Only thing I would change would be to add green onions as a splash of color. I ordered the triple sampler appetizer as my meal. Crawfish tails were overcooked to the point of being heavy encrusted strips of rubber. The honey bbq boneless wings were also overdone and very small portion. Eggrolls I never even bothered to try. My guest had a "top shelf" sirloin that was more like middle shelf at best. Ordered medium and got rare. Didn't even bother to send it back. Tab was close to $50. Total waste of money.

I came in for lunch and ordered off their lunch specials menu. There were around 10ish selected items, mostly under $10, of wide variety from burgers, sandwiches, steak, and seafood. According to the menu, if your party is under 4 people, then the food will come out within 15 minutes. I ordered the Double D's Burger with seasoned fries. The patty needed more salt/flavor and the fries had textural inconsistencies (some soggy, some crispy). And just like Texas Roadhouse, they also serve peanuts in a bucket with shells on the ground and buttered bread. The service was great. The waitress who served me was very nice and efficient. And because of that, I was able to be in and out of of the steakhouse in only 30 minutes.

I hate at this establishment about two years ago and the service was great with average food. Yesterday I took my family out for dinner and we ate at this establishment, not only was it horrible service they got 3/4 of the order wrong after waiting about 30 minutes to sit at are table and another hour for are food I was really disappointed! And the price was high for the value.

This is our go to for just about any food. Our food is always cooked like we ask. The only downfall is the wait staff. They seem busy flirting or talking and not waiting on the guests.

I am a fan of Texas roadhouse so I thought this would be just as good, but it wasn't. Everything was just okay. My husband and I both had steak and my daughter had a pizza. I also had a salad, which was mostly wilted. The worst part of our whole meal was the horrible server, she had a horrible attitude the whole time. The food could have 3 stars, but because of our awful server i'm giving it 2. She will keep me from returning again.

Ok so this is the run of the mill Texas roadhouse knockoff. Same deal with the peanuts on the floor, tv's, music etc. The rolls and butter and the menu/prices are almost the same but double d does charge extra for salad. The big difference between the two is the quality of food. Now I like Texas roadhouse for the price and quality -everything is pretty good down to the salads. Ok so back to business- I have been to Double D steak house 2 times now - the first time I ordered a chicken fettuccine alfredo type dish with steamed veggies. The chicken was pretty good seasoned right -not to to dry- in fact pretty tasty, the sauce was OK - kind of tasted like it came out of a jar (i got nothing against jars but you know when you go out to eat you kinda dont want it tasting like it comes out of a jar RIGHT?), and the veggies were way over cooked and had about 1/3 cup of water underneath them and the carrots in the veggies looked "old" and grey. The salad was extra so I skipped it. The second time I went there I ordered the potato soup which was not hot and had like 4 pieces of potato, 1/10th of a baby carrot and 1/50th of a green veggie which could not be identified . Did i mention that it was not hot? Potato soup as far as i know is a soup that you serve HOT. Sorry I like my soups hot if they are supposed to be hot anyways the soupy part was kind of thick and lumpy and curdly. BBBrrr not good and I was hungry so I just ate a lot of peanuts and stole food from my family. Hubby had a burger and french fries and son had pizza. I did have a bite of the burger which was ok just not my thing -he liked it -but at the end of the meal there was mention that the bun was to big so I would call it a case of the where's the beef. The french fries were good and seasoned a little.The pizza was your run of the mill small pizzas that you can get from walmart in bags of 5 for $5. The server was nice and friendly. I'm sure there are other things on the menu that are good but I will not be back to try them.
