So far so good. This place just opened and I been giving it a try. Nice and quick service. Dining area is clean. Best pho place on the north shore so far.

We just moved to Covington and have been eagerly awaiting the opening of Pho V & V because it is literally just a few blocks from our new home. We love Pho and had a favorite place in the city so we were hoping this would be our new favorite. I was skeptical about trying it out on opening week because I usually think restaurants need at least a month to really be up to part- not Pho V & V! They were spot on! The restaurant is beautiful, has great music (not too loud), and good ambiance. The friendly service was spectacular. We had the tofu spring rolls, shrimp spring rolls, Combination Pho and clear noodle chicken soup. All was totally delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Their take-out menu has a permanent place on our fridge. I don't know what their plans are but if they ever offer a full bar with sake we won't go any where else. Definitely give this place a try!

This place gets five stars for customer service alone. The staff was attentive, polite, and appreciative of their patrons. The food was delicious and the restaurant was impeccably neat. All in all a perfect place for a quick lunch.

We ordered the pho with rare steak. The broth was a bit bland, compared to others. I would describe it as a fresh, clean broth that needs some tlc:) The staff is friendly and service is fast.

Been here a couple of times and I can't get over how happy I am to have a Pho shop that is on par with what we had in Seattle. Thank you for having great Vietnamese sandwiches like I'm used to on the West coast. The Pho is great for someone like me that is looking for delicious without the loaded up MSG. If you're picky about your Pho shops, you'll fall in love with this one!

No pate or head cheese added to banh mi here, but that's ok because instead there were super succulent, tender grilled meats along with fresh pickled veggies and some sort of aeoli spread that made life worth living. Only complaint? Though the baguette was good, it was definitely not 'artisinal' - i.e. no beautiful holes in the center and no crunchy skin. Also, too much bread for the amount of filling. I'd prefer a thinner, more sour-doughy baguette. But now I'm getting picky. The spring rolls had good pork and teenie tiny little shrimp - I would avoid the seafood and just get the meats.

The best Vietnamese in the Northshore. Have been visited here several times since it opens. Should try Vietnamese crepes and wanton soup and poboys. Basically I love everything here. Staff/owner is very polite and attentive. The best thing is it is right here on the Northshore. So happy

This place is awesome. Haven't had any of the food but the bubble teas are amazing. All of the employees I've encountered are pretty awesome too!! Will definitely be back.

The pork and shrimp spring rolls are outstanding. So much flavor. The egg rolls have a great crispy light exterior. Dipping sauce is on point and the pho ga is awesome. Huge portions for great prices. The owner was super friendly. Great place for families or date night.

Okay, so I went back again today just to make sure it was still fabulous! And it was!!! Had the spicy soup again which was yummy again! And the server also gave me some additional spicy paste to add to the soup which was really good! We also got the egg rolls this time and they too were amazing! Trust me go try!

I love this place! The food is reasonably priced and delicious. I have had the banh mih, rice and vermicelli bowls and loved them all. The restaurant is small but very clean. Service was excellent and the owner (I assume) was very friendly. A+++

My new favorite Pho place and I've been to quite a few. The broth is flavorful and the meat is high-quality. Comfortable, clean, delicious pho and tasty appetizers. Good job Pho V & V!!!

Best pho in Covington, Louisiana hands down. Tried all of the new pho restaurants in town and this one has the best broth. The banh mi is also good. Glad to have some good pho selection for the Northshore. I just wish they were open later, like until 11pm or so for some of us who sometimes have a late night craving.

Finally a good Vietnamese restaurant in the North Shore! I recently got a job in Covington and was looking around for a Viet restaurant for lunch. When I first started, there was only Pho An which was not a true Viet restaurant. I'm not sure the ethnicity of the owners, but they were not Viet and it showed in their food. It's not bad, but it was definitely off. Then around March, two "Coming Soon" signs appeared - one for Pho Saigon and one for Pho V&V. Pho Saigon opened first so I gave them a shot. Authentic Viet food, but the service was horrible and a bit overpriced (pricing is apparently normal for the North Shore. Meh. 6 bucks for a banh mi is thievery in New Orleans East). I tried Pho V&V when they finally opened. Authentic Viet food and service was great. I still find the pricing to be a bit much compared to other Viet restaurants in New Orleans East and such, but all my coworkers says that's normal for the area. I've had pretty much everything on their menu. Anything with pork is on point. The meat is marinated perfectly - not too salty like other places. Their pho is delicious (I do wish they added cartilage to it, but I guess they're catering to non-Asians who would rather not have that in their food). The bun bo hue will clear out your sinuses in a heartbeat. And their Vietnamese crepe (banh xeo) is second only to my mom's. They have the best banh mi on the North Shore as well. I highly suspect that their bread gets delivered fresh from Dong Phuong in the East which I love! In my opinion, all sandwiches should be made using their bread, but that's another review entirely. I've been back multiple times and I will continue to do so. Pros: Fresh veggies and herbs Marinade for meats is on point Nuoc cham is made perfect Banh xeo on the North Shore! Friendly staff Clean restaurant Cons: Price, but I'm used to pricing in New Orleans East Slow service when there is a crowd

2 chopsticks up for Pho V&V! Stopped by this lovely family owned establishment the other day while visiting the Northshore and left with one happy Buddha belly. They recently opened in March and I had been wanting to try it as it came highly recommended by some family friends. (Keep in mind that I am Vietnamese and as our my favorites, so my pho barometer is a little more sensitive than most ;)) I was not to be disappointed! Had some delicious pork buns to start along with some tasty avocado bubble tea. I know Pho Bo is their main attraction, but I had heard through the grapevine that the Bun Bo Hue (pho's spicier, sassier sister) was to die for so I opted for that instead. Wish they brought me a straw to slurp down that amazing broth! Atmosphere itself was very nice, charming, and clean--not like your usual hole-in-the wall ethnic shop. Service was very friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend checking this place out! If you live in the city, it's worth a drive across the Causeway--take my Vietnamese word for it.
