Food is pretty good. The place was pretty crowded. Tables were not being cleaned off. Prices are ok for the food. My daughter loves the place.

Overpriced and overrated. Typical Panera establishment. High priced foods that underwhelm. Perhaps a better option is the Winn Dixie in the parking lot nearby. But, if you must, stop here for a quick bite and lots of disappointment. A toasted bagel, cream cheese, coffee and $5 later... Now that's a steal.

Food here is not consistent most of the time. It depends who does the cooking. I have been to several Panera Breads in several states and in comparison, this one would earn fewer stars due to inconsistency. Staff here are not as friendly either. Once in while I would come across a friendly one here but not often.

Inconsistent, just like the Metairie location. Tonight my friend had a half Thai chicken salad and I had the full chicken Caesar. Neither were tossed, barely any chicken on the full salad. Definitely not worth the money. Fortunately, I've also been here when they've done a great job - guess it all depends on who's working in the kitchen. If it were like this all the time I'd never return.

I thought when this place opened, it would be a great addition. But I've been disappointed too many times. I thought the first time my order was incorrect, no problem, they were busy and I understood. But by the fourth , I'm done. One example. The supposed online quick order, is not useful. Of the two orders I placed there, one wasn't done until I finally asked about it. Online it stated ready in 15 minutes, I waited 20 before I went , again, I understand places are busy, but I didn't actually get my order until 40 minutes after I placed it. This is just one example of many. I could list them all but there's no point. There appears to be a ton of staff always there, but only one or two actually helping the customers. Very chaotic. I wanted to like this place, but the only reason I go now is because my children want one of the pastries.

Got a half sandwich half salad. The salad came with one slice of avocado, cubed. One tiny sliver! Very disappointed in how little they are filling these meals. Watched every sandwich that was made before mine and none of those seemed to be oozing with toppings or greens. Sandwich Ratio: Bread-95%, meat, lettuce, tomato, condiments- 5%. Is this a cost savings strategy?

The food is good, but overpriced for what you get. My biggest complaint with this location is the rudeness of the staff. I have gone to the drive thru several times in the morning to buy bagels for my office. The staff is never what I would call friendly, but this last time ( and it will be my LAST time) after no greeting, waiting at the window for five minutes without being acknowledged and then after paying having the bags of bagels practically thrown at me, I had enough. There are too many other places that want your business to put up with this lack of common courtesy.

Reminds me of McCalister's deli. But this place is hyped up too much. There was nothing spectacular here so I really don't now what the excitement about this place opening was all about. I had a 1/2 sandwich and soup meal. I had the ham & Swiss along with the broccoli cheddar soup. Both were good but nothing that would necessarily make me go out of my way to go back for. Service was prompt and polite. I would probably stop in again if I were in the area and not in the mood for Five Guys down the street.

Places like Panera and Five Guys have that romanticized aura because you went to one when you were on vacation, and it was the best food EVER! As it was with Panera, where I harkened back to enjoying french toast bagels outside of Nashville, or half a sandwich and salad in Birmingham. I was very glad to hear that Panera was finally opening in the NOLA area, finally I could spread the gospel of the french toast bagel. I have been here multiple times now and it's fantastic. They have a special for 99 cent pastries in the display if you buy an entree. The Pick 2 special has healthy options, and I discovered iced coffee is a drink choice instead of the traditional soda or tea. (make sure you get your money's worth of drink, because the small is $1.79 each!) The service here is still getting up and running (they ran out of ice a couple of times during my last visit), but the space they're in is very comfortable. The management is also nice to thank you for coming and fix anything that went wrong. If you can get the hang of the parking lot (not their fault, whoever built the shopping center needs to go back to traffic class), it's definitely worth your time.

It is better to go inside because you get to see the pastries and determine which one you'd like best. They also may have some items on sale like a loaf of Cinnamon and raisin bread. I enjoy getting my own loaf of bread and they will slice it for you. I will also recommend that you don't get rushed and step back to look at the menu because they have a lot of selection. The price of a loaf of bread is under $4 and than I can make my own perfect sandwich. I got a tuna sandwich but I really liked the bread best. I also liked a pecan braid pastry it was really good. They also had fruit filled pastry and bear claws that looked good.
