I got the hearts of gold mahi It was ridiculously salty so I was not a fan. I had a bite of my mate's ribeye and steak... was not a fan. I ordered a cheesecake and asked for caramel and chocolate sauce. The server was nice enough to just give me a slice of each (unless he just cut the normal sized piece in half without me knowing). Anyway, as nice as the gesture may have been, it tasted like warm flavorless cream cheese. We sat down at a table that was dirty. My mate asked the employee to clean it. He took a towel and brushed all the crumbs in her lap. It was hilarious but not right.

Went with my boyfriend and his 2 daughters. TERRIBLE service. We knew the place would be packed (LSU had won the Outback Bowl the day before and free blooming onions were available at Outback restaurants.) Therefore, we arrived at the restaurant at 4 pm (to avoid the dinner rush) and sat at a table in the bar area. The was a 15 minute wait for the regular dining room area and the bar area had an almost completely empty bar and several empty tables. Dirty table, no server, no silverware. My boyfriend had to beg for a server, ask for silverware, ask for our drink order to be brought to the table. In all, we had 4 people help us and I'm still not sure who our server was. Maybe the incompetent woman who showed up late, talked as though she was high, and took 20 minutes to allow us to pay our bill?? A ridiculous and experience. If I have my way, I'll never go back.

Terrible service!!! Curbside even worse! Never had a worse experience at a restaurant. And to make it worse the manager was the worst, order was wrong and refused to fix it and then tries to over charge. I will never go again.

Slow service on a slow Tuesday night, no excuse for that. They use gross American cheese on their burgers. No restaurant should have American cheese in stock. Burger came out very well done, and the chicken was practically burnt. It's always bad when a steakhouse doesn't know how to cook to temp. Another person ordered grilled shrimp with their steak, and they were way too salty. An overall bad experience that's even worse when you have to pay $80 for it. Just go to Zea across the street, they always have good food and good service no matter how busy.

Don't trust the prices on the online menu. The prices at this Outback were higher by $1 or $2 for what we ordered. Having said that, the service was fine. We got what we ordered even though we had a special requirement: no spices. Food was not super, but good quality and filling.

Love Outback Steakhouse but wasn't crazy about this visit. I asked for no sour cream on my baked potato but got it anyway. The bread was really dry and crumbly. I've had better meals at other Outbacks.

We love the outback! We eat there often. The food is always fresh and the service is always great! Go have dinner and enjoy!

We had a quick lunch with good service, just wish they would have removed the plates we were finished with while we were still eating. Chicken quesadilla was delicious very surprised on how yummy it was! Will order it again!

I was a little nervous coming here after seeing the reviews of the terrible service. Yet, after reading those reviews, I still decided to come. Most of the time I am traveling for work, I am eating by myself, and I don't stray from what I know. It's more fun when someone is with you. Needless to say, my server was great! Service was prompt, and the food comparable to other Outback's in the chain.

This placed used to be good. I quit going after a friend went with me and got sick while in the restaurant. Had the manager call us a liar over the situation. The owner was there and also insinuated we were liars. I used to go there 2 or 3 times a week. This happened over a year ago and I have never went back since. Nor have any friends or family members I told this too.

Decided to go here one Friday night to unwind, have a nice dinner and a drink after a long work week. My boyfriend and I were seated, and our server took out drink order. Our drinks didn't arrive for 20min. Then, the server returned and asked if we wanted any bread (I thought they always automatically bring the bread with drinks?) we said yes. Waited another 10min for the bread. Then the server came back to take our meal order...but we wanted an appetizer before our meal. We went ahead and ordered the appetizer with the meal. About 30min passed. No appetizer, just our main meals came out. WHERE WERE THE COCONUT SHRIMP?! I ordered the ribs and garlic potatoes, which was just "ok"-I've had better at another local "Roadhouse" type restaurant. After waiting what seemed like forever to get our drinks, then our food order was screwed up, a couple with four kids and a screaming baby were seated at the next table...it was just what we needed to ensure a completely unpleasant evening. Ps: no apology from our server for forgetting our appetizer. We weren't charged for it, thank goodness. Needless to say, we won't be back. Too many other better dinner options out there!

Won't go back ever! $16 for a small piece of Mahi Mahi and little bitty sweet potato and left hungry. Kids menu is only 10 and under so $12.99 for chicken tenders is a little ridiculous.

This place is garbage. I just picked up take out and while eating my side salad which was missing the dressing I asked for I discovered a FINGER NAIL. This disgusting kitchen staff is lucky I was not in their POS resturant when this discovery was made

I am normally disappointed by chains, but as chain steakhouses go, Outback is the best. The only problem with Outback is its popularity, which causes it to be massively crowded nearly every night. The last few times I have been have been right when they opened and we were seated with no issues. On my most recent trip we had the best waiter. While I cant remember his name, he was outgoing, personable and helpful. He suggested the wedge salad over the house salad and I am glad he did. The wedge salad is a large wedge of iceberg lettuce, topped with tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon and a balsamic reduction. It is wonderful. For an entree, I ordered the Melbourne porterhouse medium rare. The Melbourne is 20 oz. of beefy goodness. Outback doesn't claim to have prime beef, but their steaks are seasoned perfectly, tender and beefy. The steaks aren't done in the traditional New Orleans simmering butter, but it isn't missed at all. These steaks are pretty good. Outback does try and up sell appetizers and desserts, but to be honest, I don't know how someone could eat all of that food. I still love real steakhouses, but in a pinch, Outback does a good job.

To start I would like to thank the ever so polite curbside employee and chefs at this particular Outback. My wife and I loved this place for their steaks. It was kind of expensive, but worth it. All of a sudden last month we ordered the medium prime rib and when we got home it was purple and cold throughout. This happened about 4 more times that we have been back. It got so bad that we had to start grilling them ourselves when we got home. Three days ago my wife and I decided to try it one last time. I said to myself, "Maybe if I tell the curbside employee my dilemma when I order she can say something to the chef." This only made things worse. The cheerful employee had said it was not Outbacks fault that they serve raw meat when Medium is asked for, it is the seared cooking style. I said be that as it may, I just dont want to come home with purple and cold steaks. She then exhaled a large and audible huff and said I"ll see what they can do. To her credit when I got home the steaks were not purple and cold, rather they were now black, tough, and inedible. I am sorry, but I lack the culinary skill to save burnt. I am not saying that a restaurant has to be perfect every order, I just think that a steak house that charges as they do should be able to cook a proper medium steak. In closing, I would like to once again thank the curbside employee and chefs at this particular outback. Last night I grilled my own steaks and it tasted better and was cheaper than the dog food they serve here. So not only am I now saving money, I am getting what I want. Thanks Outback of Covington.

Great place to eat for a Sunday afternoon. Not rushed and excellent waitstaff. Our server, Ashley was very attentive, and outgoing. My daughter was being highlighted because of her birthday steak and lobster she wanted, and was very impressed with our service. This is even more notable, because my daughter is a server also (different restaurant, no clues for you yet) and is very critical of ANY other server. The restaurant was pretty busy, and I think we got the last large table without having to wait in line. The server was told that we love iced tea, and especially the raspberry flavored tea. She told us that they don't carry the raspberry, but recommended the blueberry tea. I've never even heard of blueberry tea, this was going to be a first for me. I'm the only one who ordered the blueberry tea; everyone else stuck to their 'old faithful' regular tea. Well, I must have made quite the impression when drinking my tea, and after the second glassful, others were wanting a 'taste' -- phenomenal!! I think we had two more 'converts' right there at the table. Ashley recommended the blueberry tea, and it was a great choice it turned out. Anyways, back to the real reason for the review...the steak and lobster. This was an unexpectedly flavorful lobster, in an otherwise non-seafood kinda place. The lobster on my daughter's plate was so tasty, that she didn't even use the clarified butter that was in a portion cup on her plate. Very good indeed. Great menu item for Outback, and next time, I think I'll be getting the same. The steaks at the table were all cooked to perfection, and couldn't have asked for any better service, or food. Way to go guys!! At last, the birthday song...as a line of servers came strolling out with the first one holding the fudge brownie, topped high with ice cream and whipped topping, the table behind us clapped a couple of times (some unrelated fun they were having) and one of the servers stopped at their table, thinking this is where the birthday girl is (because they starting clapping...) and we had to kind of wave them to us... too funny!! I guess you had to be there, but they recovered very well. Kudos!! We left very full, very happy and wanting to go find a comfy chair to watch the football games.

Not exciting but consistent good food. Friendly wait staff. Good prices. I like to sit at a booth in the bar.

Ordered curbside tonight which had a very long wait. upon arrival, the parking lot was completely full and had to park at Rouses. The girl who answered the phone was professional and knowledgeable and when we arrived to learn our order wasn't quite ready she brought us two extremely large drinks at no charge. We watched her answer the phones which were ringing off the hook, Run from the kitchen back into the little room outside and back in multiple times and she never lost her composure. She was sincere and apologetic about the wait which was not her fault...it was clearly extremely busy! She let us know about a few sites where we could get coupons for future visits. Can't remember her name but she had a very long braid. I have never received such wonderful customer service placing a Togo order like this! She should be training people in proper etiquette and handling situations like tonight. I will definitely be back!

Following is copied and pasted form the email I sent through Outback's website regarding our visit on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at approximately 6:30 pm. I'm curious if this will get pulled form Yelp or not. I came to this location to use the free dinner card that I received in the mail. I also brought along my wife and son, so this wasn't just a visit for a free meal and nothing else. We were seated promptly when we arrived at the hostess station. That's when things went downhill. All three of us sat patiently waiting for our server to arrive. Five minutes passed. Two male servers were busy taking care of diners sitting near us. Ten minutes passed by. Still no acknowledgement from any of the wait staffed that were constantly passing our table. By this time, we had already figured out what appetizers, drinks and entrees were wished to order. We just needed someone to take our order. After 15 minutes of sitting there like a bunch of idiots, we decided enough was enough. Not even the free meal promised by my mailing was enough to keep me sitting there any longer. My wife and I counted a total of four different servers that passed our table and never once made eye contact with us. We made our way back to the hostess station and asked her to inform the manager about our experience, which she said she would. It was interesting to notice that even though we had left nothing on the table but the wrapped silverware, someone was there immediately to bus the table when we vacated our seats. I was never impressed by previous Outback visits, but my family members like the restaurant. I will not be back to any Outback location in the future.

I am a fan of Outback in general. I don't go for the steaks, oddly enough. If I want steak I tend to go elsewhere. Outback is a great setting to eat appetizers, drink a few beers, and sample the different items on the menu. The Toowoomba Pasta is good, as is the Blackened Ahi appetizer. The service at this location is excellent, the bartenders are knowledgeable, and the management is very accommodating. Outback is a chain, so you should know what to expect. I do, and I am a fan.

So Outback is pretty much Outback. Not a whole lot of change between the locations. The major thing to me that can effect my reviews would be service and food prep. At this location I have to say the service was excellent. Brandon our server was 5 stars the whole way. On top of his job, chatty but not too chatty, knew the menu inside and out and you could tell he has been with Outback for a while. So why the 3 stars? Wings came out under cooked. Brandon was happy to carry them back and drop them again for a bit. Another drawback for this location is well the location. It's sort of tucked back and not the easiest of places to get into or find. I love the chopped blue cheese salad and the ahi tuna so of course I will be back.

They Have the best Ceasar Salad. I travel and eat at alot of different outbacks, and the ceasar salad is very consistant. I get it with the steak and anchovies. oh yeh!
