Amazingly bad. I've been twice and while my first meal was decent, my second was atrocious and dangerous. I ordered a ribeye medium rare. What I got was barely seared on the outside and red/purple in the middle. In other words, RAW! This is inexcusable for a "steakhouse" and while our server was superb, the dish was disgusting. Our server was incredibly apologetic but I have never experienced food this bad. The broccoli that was steamed had nothing on it (lemon juice, butter, seasoning) so it was bland (but at least cooked). My advice is to order medium or better because the back line clearly lacks the skills to cook to temperature. Or better yet, eat a salad!

One half hour to get incorrect sandwich order with cold fries. Waited 15 more minutes before canceling order since husband was finished eating. Sandwich miraculously appears in a to go box with lots of condensation on the top. Yay. A wet sandwich with soggy fries. This is a waste of time and exactly why we try to avoid chains. Poor excuse for customer service. Dont waste your time or money.

Three things wrong with order. After correction food was not special. Side salad was just slapped on the plate. A lot of dust on the sides of the booths and lamps. A thorough cleaning besides just the tabletops necessary. It was 4 years since our last visit here, but this was most probably our last. There are better restaurants in the area with a good steak at a better price in a clean environment.

Great service, but a little disappointed in the food. The bread smelled better than it tasted. Salad and mashed potatoes were fine. Ribs were ok, but far from "fall off the bone" as the menu described it. Date says the steak was good.

We love this place. A bit hesitant of chain steak houses but we LOVE it here. Steak is always cooked precisely to our preference. Staff are always courteous and helpful, Only issue is the wait. There is always a wait to get in and a good wait for food. I understand steaks are made to order but sometimes it just seems a bit much. We've waited nearly an hour to be seated before, but obviously we really like the food to wait that long.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good my experience was here. A buddy was heading to the military and wanted to have a steak before he left. He chose Lonestar and I reluctantly accepted. I arrived before he did, so I sat at the bar. The bartender was great. Another customer came in who had apparently never had a steak. He was asking questions like "what is prime rib and what is a fillet". She was amazingly patient and calm with him. They have a decent beer selection. I opted for the 24 oz. draft. Finally, a restaurant with beers my size. Once at the table, I ordered their big porterhouse and had low expectations. When the food came out it was perfectly cooked and flavorful. I was surprised since I haven't had great experience with chain steakhouses. The steak came with a salad and baked potato. Both were good. Our server was friendly and helpful. If your in the mood for a good, reasonably priced steak, give Lonestar a try.

It's a steak place and they have trouble cooking steaks properly. What a disappointment. The service was just okay. The rest of the food was alright. After we ate the bread, we were never asked if we wanted more.

I'm not a big "chain" restaurant person - being from Houston, I always try to find local independent places. unfortunately those are hard to find in this area, so when i visit my boyfriend our choices are limited. I wasn't expecting much (expected a saltgrass or outback kind of experience) and i was really pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was attentive, but not overly so. we started out with the house made chips and dip. YUM. My boyfriend had the ribeye (cooked to a perfect medium) with asparagus, and I had the filet paired with crab stuffed mushrooms, with green beans and a sweet potato. My Filet was thick, and they cooked it to a perfect medium rare....unusual, and too a little to rare for me! they cooked it up quickly, no issue. The stuffed mushrooms were really good - LOTS of lump crabmeat. we got coffee, and i am obsessed with their coffee cups. they are HUGE, and the perfect shape. our waiter wouldn't ask the manager if i could buy a couple lol :-/ One of the best food experiences I've had in the area.

Like most people, I stopped here for dinner with the family before seeing a movie nearby. We had a fairly large group (seven people). Our server was our server, nothing more, nothing less. Literally, she just took our orders and helped deliver our orders and then closed our tab. No smiles, no eager to please behavior, no checking on us to see if we enjoyed our food or needed anything else....she just...took our order. I got the Grilled Chicken Winter Brie Salad and to be honest it did enjoy it. It was different but pretty good. The lettuce was fresh, the blueberry vinaigrette was light and sweet, the fried pieces of brie were unique. It wasn't a fabulous salad but it was certainly satisfactory. My sister's salmon seemed a bit on the dry side....but hey....who comes to LongHorn Steakhouse and orders salmon anyways right? Two of my family members got the burgers and they were indeed burgers. Not a great burger or a bad burger....just....a burger. However, the fries were seasoned well so I thought those were tasty. The Steakhouse Mac & Cheese was good....but again...it was just mac & cheese....nothing to write home about really. They do give you some complimentary bread with sweet butter that I thought was very hot and lovely to nibble on beforehand. I will note that my brother got the Steakhouse Burger and requested no lettuce and they did indeed put lettuce on it anyways....but ya know...that bit didn't really affect me. Although I did notice that a few previous reviewers did complain about them getting orders wrong pretty frequently so I just thought I would mention that. All in all....I wish I could be more creative and poetic about my experience here but it was just "A-Ok" just like the three star rating says. We didn't have a bad time, but we didn't have an impressive time either. The food was not bad, it was good enough, it just was not memorable in any way that would make me super eager to return. I would come again to please my giant family though if they wished to come back.

I hate this place. I try to give it "another chance" but they always mess my food up. I order a steak every time and I have had it burned to a crisp (I always order it med rare), they have forgotten my salad once, my side shrimp once, the dressing off my salad once, and plates for appetizers this time. I give up on this place.

We (5 adults and a toddler) went here because they had a 10 minute wait compared to a 40 minute wait at another steakhouse. When we got to the table they gave us a cutting board with bread and butter, but no small plates. I ordered sweet tea for myself and my son, my father in law also ordered sweet tea. It was not sweet! The waitress took it back and "sweetened it herself" (which I appreciate and thought was really nice). My brother in law and mother in laws steaks were charred/well-done and NOT 6 oz. They ordered medium. My father in law's steak was very cartilagey. My father in law asked for a baked potato with bacon and butter only. They gave him sour cream (he about gagged) and cheese. He finished his steak by the time they brought him a hard baked potato. Four people came by the table without mention of the status of the corrected baked potato. My silverware was dirty (gross) and they didn't bring any for my son, so I asked for two more sets. Out of the two new sets one of the forks were dirty. They didn't give me a steak knife for my son's kids menu steak because they "cut it". They cut a steak into 3 large pieces. Yes it needs to be cut more for a 2.5 year old. This was supposed to be my father in laws birthday dinner. We should've waited 40 minutes at Texas Rodehouse :/

My husband and I have been here quite a few times in the past few months and the service has been great, food wonderful and the restaurant is always clean!

The bar was a bit of a shame when we walked in to kill some time before a movie. Thought we would stop in and get a quick drink. It ended up taking 15 minutes to order a drink and finally get one. There was only one other guy at the bar also. The entire bar was messy and uninviting, and the waiter thought it would be wise to finish cleaning glasses before taking our order, which made us a bit confused. The interior of this place is strange and cheesy. It looks pretty modern from the outside, but definitely not a place I would ever go on a date or bring my family. I can't comment on the food, but it seems like their steak selection is the forefront of the menu, and offer little else.

Wait was long. It was mother's day so it was very understandable. I ordered a steak, and it was very delicious. Love the mixture of vegetables. Very yummy. Food was kind of cold when we received it but again, it was very busy. Would go again.

I'm surprised that we got such good service and delicious meal at a chain restaurant. This place got us in and out quickly and our salads were delicious. We got the7-pepper sirloin salads, one without pepper. They were served promptly, as requested, and cooked at the temperature we'd asked for. We had a waitstaff trainee at our table so I think we got a little more hoopla than we would have otherwise, but they don't go overboard.

Both our dinners were different. Both really bad. Do not want to waste more of my time with this place. Glad Texas Roadhouse came to town.

Elegant dining in small town offers worldly charm. Texas decor runs amuck as you hear the sizzle of your steak prepared exactly as ordered! A little wine of choice adds ambiance to that romantic dinner for two. Servers make you feel like you've entered a 5-star restaurant. Management visible so any need you have is taken care of. Pure luxurious dining in a tiny town leaves me HIGHLY RECOMMENDING this steakhouse for memorable evening or lunch out!

As far as chain restaurants go this one is pretty good. They have "homemade" chips with dip which are pretty good but greasy. The brad free bread they give you is actually pretty good too. I kind of compare this place to Outback but prefer LongHorn.

Food is always awesome. Waitress was on the spot, but didn't hover. Did feel a bit rushed since we came in for an early supper, & kept getting asked (8 times) if we wanted something else. There wasn't anyone waiting for a table, & there it wasn't busy at all. Dislike the overly dimmed lights in the evenings. Can't see your food.

This restaurant is very close to a string of shops the likes of JCP, Marshall's and Ross's so easy to finish or break your day here. Hostess was friendly and seated us straight away and server was with us in no time to take our order. I ordered the Grilled chicken with Stuffed Portabella and had seasoned rice pilaf, a lovely meal but a word of warning, with hindsight, I wish I had asked for them not to add salt as this meal is overly salted. Staff very friendly and our waitress appeared very knowledgable about the red malbec we ordered, it was from California and it is not one we will order again. All in all a great meal was enjoyed by all
