5 Guys never disappoints; good quality burgers made with real meat and toppings that don't look like they came from leftovers. In the culinary abyss of Central Louisiana it's refreshing to find one of the better food chains. I say this because Alexandria is a relatively small city, yet it has a disproportionately large amount of McDonalds, Taco Bells, and Burger Kings serving up crap food at ever increasing prices. Glad to see at least one of the good chains has made it here and is staying busy. Maybe one of these days we'll get a Chipotle or a Panera.

I loved my veggie sandwich with cheese and the kids loved their burger and hotdog. Yummy fries. Dominic at the counter was very helpful and friendly. Just wish it was a little cleaner, particularly the bathrooms. They were disgusting.

There is nothing wrong with a 5 Guys burger. Tell the person at the counter what you want, walk over to the drink machine and fill your glass. Easy. Burger is crispy top with moist, light pink interior. Even the small fry is gargantuan. Good crisp and a cooked soft inside. It's all good. Place was clean. People file in and the line waxes and wanes. Good stuff.

The hamburgers are very good that you can get it loaded in any kind away you all almost too much stuff to get in your mouth but now the fries that's another story they put them in a bag in the bag if you're soaking the grease it comes out of them and they're also overpriced

Five Guys has awesome burgers. The portion size of fries you get is very generous (the small is enough for two people), and the Cajun fries are quite delish if you like that little kick of heat. There's also free peanuts, but don't be a slob and leave shells all over the floor -- this isn't a steakhouse restaurant. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is their prices. Drinks at the soda fountain will set you back $2 and $3. My wife and I bought a double bacon cheeseburger, a small Cajun fry and two drinks. With tax it came out to $18. Don't get me wrong, the burgers are very well cooked and you get unlimited toppings (grilled onions are on point!) and I would definitely eat here again. You know the old saying, "you get what you pay for. "

Great burgers, the regular burger is 1/2 pound and the little burger is sized halfway between a whopper and whopper jr. Regular size fry is enough for a couple, a large would be for two grown full size males. The drinks are a little expensive at over $2 for a medium and almost $3 for a large. The cashier was knowledgable and professional to the family in front of us who had never been here before and were really confused and did a good job explaining the menu. They asked a question he didn't know the answer and he went and got the answer from the manager. This impressed me as many employees would just say "I don't know". Food took maybe 5 min from order to pick up. Again everything tasted very good just bring your own drink. I would come here again.

I stopped by this restaurant again today. The service was much better. I will be stopping back in a few weeks to see if the service still shows improvement. My order was correct. I would eat here again.

The staff is very nice and of course the food is fantastic. They have one of those touch screen soda fountains. Enjoy free peanuts while you wait for your order.

Fresh and tasty. Less greasy than an In-and-Out. The Cajun fries were very good and could have served four people.

The food is really good, but nothing to brag about for days....the fries are soggy, but seasoned & good. The burger is large enough to fill you up (even the cheaper "little burger")... They don't have combos, so you have to buy everything INDIVIDUALLY (extremely stupid and a slick way to gain more money from customers). You'll end up paying around $10+ at a burger joint!! DUMB and not worth that amount!! BUT this is considered a "cool" fast food spot in Alexandria, just like in Baton Rouge. There are no drive thru windows, although you can order online (nice!) ... The fries only come in a large cup ($2.39 for the small, med= $3.09, Lrg= $4.99). Although the medium can feed at least 2 people! There's also peanuts sitting out for you to snack on as you wait for your order (which could take a while since they cook it after you order it)

This place is a pig pen! It's 3:30pm and every table (and chair) is dirty, the floor is nasty, and there is no soap in the lady's bathroom and no paper towels in the men's room! After my daughter eats half of her burger, we see something thin and stiff sticking out of the middle, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches long, and it looks JUST LIKE A ROACH ANTENNA!!! Needless to say, we didn't finish our burgers! Won't be back! And this really sucks b/c I love their burgers!
