Little hole in the wall. Love it more than any chinese place. Everything is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the almond chicken with wonton soup and chicken fried rice. Big portions at a good price.

I'm giving this place 4 stars, not necessarily because it's the best Chinese food I've had (I'm from California and while Louisiana crushes us on southern food, we got y'all beat on Mexican and Chinese) but because it's the best Chinese food I've found here. Wonton soup is great, egg rolls are amazing, my spicy orange chicken was above average (but not spicy at all). This is a family run place, small and open, you can watch them cook your food from scratch. I'll be back again next time I'm craving some Chinese food, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Chinese Kitchen has been one of my favorite little places since I was a child. The family who owns it are always very nice & make sure your order is just right. Totally mom & pop style. In all the years have never been unhappy with a meal from the Chinese Kitchen. Highly recommend this little gem tucked into the corner of the shopping mall.

Good wonton soup. The entrees leave something to be desired. Not terrible but not great. I don't like egg rolls but if I did the ones here are pretty good.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. The food is always delicious. He regularly gets #15 which is the Orange Chicken. The flavor isn't really orange. It's spicy / zesty. I get the #4 Almond Chicken. It is literally the best Almond Chicken I've ever had. I've tried it at other restaurants and they fail in comparison. Each meal comes with soup, egg roll and rice. The wonton soup so clear and flavorful. Some days it needs salt but condiments, salt and pepper are provided at each table. My husband gets the Egg Drop soup, and constantly mentions how good it is here. The egg rolls are my favorite. Again, the best. All food is made fresh and you can see your food being prepared in the kitchen. It's a restaurant for all types, from construction workers to lawyers. Carry out is available and orders are always flying out the door. The waiter is super friendly. It may be a hole in the wall, but it's really an amazing little local family run restaurant!

This place has been a long time favorite. The food is cheap and tasty. I think the style is closer to vietnamese than Chinese. Must try: won ton soup, Chinese beef steak.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
