We love five guys and culvers and this place is right up there but at a great price. Burgers are great, great flavor and great value. Staff friendly and helpful. We came at 7:30 and they were packed. Will come back. Shakes are good too!

Stopped by on our way home from Sarasota, FL to Cincinnati, OH. I'd been craving BBQ so I decided to give Cookout a go. We ordered two BBQ platters which come with hush puppies, fries and coleslaw. For $3.99 per platter it's a heck of a deal. My only complaint is that I wish there were BBQ for the pulled pork (Texas Pete hot sauce doesn't cut it for me) and a bun to make a sandwich. I ate some, but saved most of it for the next day. Once I could sauce it up with BBQ sauce it was good to go.

Hello! Can I please get one of these franchises set up in Kansas City? Our burgers, fries, and hot dogs were all prepared lickety split, fresh to order. The shakes were fantastic! All of the staff that we encountered were friendly and patient with a pack of newbies. In spite of a late-night rush, the store was clean.

I usually try to avoid fast food but when I can't or i'm so hungry I'm sick, I go to Cook Out. It's my go-to. The prices are UNBEATABLE. They also stay open pretty late, great news for people in a college town. My favorite items are the BLT's (Bacon lettuce tomato) and the chicken nuggets. The nuggets are really soft and the bread around it is perfect. They have the best bbq sauce I've ever tasted. The BBQ sauce pouches are also very generous. Both items I mentioned are .99c. Even though you only get 5 nuggets per order, it's still a very good deal. My ONLY complaint is that this particular location is really awkward trying to pull into. I'm not sure who decided to make it such a pain in the ass to get into, but I've almost got hit on multiple occasions.

I came from out of town and was extremely pleased. The prices are way low. I had the pork platter and Mexican hotdog and it was like $8.

Never heard of, or ate at a Cookout before. I was hungry and this was across from the gas station, so it sounded like a good option especially with the Yelp reviews and ratings. Upon walking in i liked the place but the menu was a bit tricky to figure out. After looking it over for a while, i got some "Value tray" or something like that with a double cheeseburger, corn dog and fries with a Coke not bad for $6. The food was pretty decent considering the money. The corn dog seemed pretty burnt as was my fiance's though maybe that's how they cook them? Who knows. staff was friendly, the shake was really good (reeces) Not a bad meal for $12 for 2 people.

I really enjoy eating here, have several times. The price and quality of food are definitely worth the price.

You can't beat this place on price. Tons of variety and CHEERWINE. That's good stuff. Less than 6$ for a burger, fries, onion rings and a drink. Burgers taste like you grilled them. Milkshakes are small but high quality. They are made from actual food items. My favorite is the peanut butter banana. Real bananas am PB. Not flavoring. Only reason not 5 stars is some items seem a little low quality. But not the burgers and shakes.

Food was alright but clearly thrown together. Everything is served in Styrofoam which appears to melt readily into the food they serve. Also disinclined to return to an overtly religious establishment. The food was easier to swallow before discovery of the Bible verse.

I loved the cajun fries. Very similar to five guys but quite the expansive menu. Hushpuppies were an added bonus. The menu is a bit confusing with all the choices. I think the small sizes were enough for me. They have regular and huge but small was fine for lunch. The regular burger is a 1/4 pound. Recommend.

From the outside, Cookout looks like an upscale "fast food" joint that had a full lot of cars and a line in the drive thru that wrapped around the building. At 9:30 pm. We get inside and it's nice, clean, and not terribly crowded. The girls at the counter were nice and didn't exactly rush you to order your food. But I will say, the menu... wow. You have to study that thing ahead of time in order to figure out what you want. They have SO MANY things! And here's what I don't understand. They offer a "make your own" combo meal. Sandwich, etc. with 2 sides and a drink. Yes, you read that right, TWO SIDES. They actually give you the option of having two more entrees as sides, because they don't just offer fries and onion rings, but they also give you the opportunity to have a quesadilla, corn dog, chicken nuggets, etc. We wonder why obesity is a problem in this country and right here. That's the answer. Here's a fast food place that gives you the option of having an entree as a side to your entree. What the hell?? I ordered the burger with fries and onion rings. Our food actually came out so hot that we had to wait a few minutes for fear of burning our mouths. The burger was delicious. It reminded me a lot of the kind of burgers you get from Five Guys and I actually enjoyed it. The fries were pretty good but the onion rings were fantastic. And I ended up splurging on a chocolate shake for dessert and it was amazing as well. The total damage for my husband and I to both have combo meals and a shake, less than $10. It's a deal! Next time we head south, we're planning on stopping again for another good burger!

Most Awesone Burger Place Around! The prices are great, the portions are fair and what a great menu selection! One of my favorite quick lunch places!

I'm giving 5 stars! The burgers tasted freshly made - nearly as good as 5 guys, but at a fraction of the price. Since the trays came with 2 sides, we were able to feed our toddler at no extra cost (one side for each if us, and she got the others.) there were 40 flavors of milkshakes - the peanut butter banana was actually made with peanut butter and a real banana! We'll be back again next time through!

Went through the drive thru on a Saturday night. They were packed inside and both lanes were full. Got through quickly. Dinner for two had us getting the "tray" specials. One main item, two sides, and a drink. I got the double burger, coleslaw, onion rings, and a cheer wine float. My wife got a cheeseburger, onion rings, French fries and a coke. Price was fair. 11 dollars for all. Sides were a little small but with the price, acceptable. Lots to choose from. Will give them another try.

I'm always excited to try a new restaurant, even if it is fast food, and this was good fast food but nothing special. My family had cheeseburgers and hot dogs, which tasted as if I had made them at home on my grill. The price was very reasonable for the food, and the service was fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a budget, or a light meal, but I would not recommend for a large meal because the quantities were relatively small.
