I eat her almost every tuesday for lunch bc 2 punch tuesday. The steak, chicken are really good. But my favorite thing they serve is the shrimp. Everything is seasoned very well. If you compare this to "chipotle" - Burrito Shack is less expensive and extremely better quality. If you got a problem with this place it your own fault.

We've eaten at their other location in Murray. It's what you would expect from a 'Chipotle' type restaurant, you choose what you would like, I got a burrito bowl, and then choose what you'd like inside of it from different meats, toppings, etc. The restaurant itself is very clean and very bright. It's a bit noisy at times and I had to yell over the glass to make sure they could hear me when I asked for my items. And they did skimp a bit on what they put on, after I asked nicely a few times they added a little more. As a vegetarian we are often an after thought at places like this and The Burrito Shack is no exception. Their veggies were boring. The beans had no flavor, tasted like the where straight out of the can. But their salsas were good, we tried the pineapple, habanero, and 'hot'. The base is all the same for all three, but the pineapple was slightly sweet, the habanero had a bit of a smoky after taste, and the 'hot' wasn't hot. But at least it was better then Neato Burrito, or Eato Burrito as it's been renamed. Another local restaurant following the same type of meals.

Good food and good staff but the owner is outright rude. He told us if we didn't like their food we can leave. Yelled at me and my kids.

We were looking for something different and I remembered last time I was in Murray they were putting a Burrito Shack in Paducah... Sweet! We made it there and the place was hopping. I ordered my usual and one for my lovely wife. We were able to sit outside and eat a great veggie burrito with that wonderful habanero salsa. The staff was super nice and helpful. Price was right. Food was great.... It was just all good! I love these folks and both the Burrito Shack locations are gonna be my stop when I'm looking for spicy.

Pretty sure they have the best fish tacos I have ever had and for 2 tacos drink and chips for $6 and some change you can't beat that deal.

Way over priced!!! The food is GREAT!!! But your looking at $30-40 for a family of 4 they are very stingy with there chips & the $4 Quaso does not come with chips. That's another $2-3

Recent visit was quite underwhelming. Began with the Health Dept score of a C displayed in front window.....hello! Store was very dirty, looking like no one has "deep cleaned" since grand opening. Food was way below average, service from the 3 young girls was barely acceptable. Spent a lot of time smoking outside. Definitely will never go back unless I start hearing some great things about them improving. Owner/manager needs to pay attention soon.

Excellent taco salad with good sauces. Try the jalapeño shell and they give a generous portion of meat.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
