Gotta say never had anything but good service and good food at this location. It is always busy, so just get the app, super easy to use and you just walk in and go straight to the front of the line! Carnitas is back!!!

Rating a Chipotle: seems a little odd. I like to read reviews of local places, mostly. When family doesn't feel like eating-in - Chipotle seems to offer the best option for eating out without a bunch of fried sugar stuff. Don't get me wrong, fried sugar n stuff tastes great, but I feel like we pay for it later when we give the kids a 'treat' of nuggets. Anyways, enough about my tastes. It was great when this place opened, because it was closer to home than other Chipotle's downtown or way down in Florence (y'all). We've been here a handful of times, and, unfortunately, it doesn't matter if there's a line or not, we always wait a long time to get through the line. Have you, we have a large family, but even if it's just a couple of us, we've waited a long time. Taste of food: it's Chipotle. They're mostly there. Haven't had anything gross, but the tomatoes last night didn't really look like the tomatoes I've eaten at other Chipotle's - maybe it lacked spices? Not sure. So, for two more stars? Speed up the service behind the line, and maybe check the tomatoes? They lacked a bit of flavor... I'll update next time I roll through. I'm not giving up on you, Chipotle, Newport...

The description for a 2 star rating, "meh. I've experienced better," is just about right for this Chipotle. Of the chipotles out there, this one is a "meh". The line moved decently quickly, but the servers were not very organized, and it created some confusion that shouldn't have happened. I got skipped over in the line to order. Twice. There were only 3 people in front of me today, and 1 person behind me. As I got up to the front, the person in front of me (also an Asian) ordered, and then the server completely skipped over me an attended to the person behind me. I can only assume that they thought I was with that other Asian, but I ended up standing there for an awkward couple minutes while the other person ordered around me. Finally, since I couldn't exactly move down the line, and was creating an gap in the line, a server finally noticed and started my order. As I went to pay, the same thing happened again. I stood in front of the cashier, and presented her my card. And she rang up the person behind me. I have to wait again, holding out my card and standing there awkwardly, while the person behind me paid. Annoyingly, the cashier didn't even acknowledge that she skipped over me. Chipotle, speed is great, but some attention to detail would be appreciated.

This location is consistent with other locations. The service is quick and polite, the ingredients are fresh, and the seating area is clean and welcoming.

I love Chipotle but this location has some serious issues. Every time I've been to this on in the past month something has not been right. The staff doesn't care about quality of service or food. Today the chips aren't cooked and the guacamole has frozen unripe peices of Avocado. And the rice was crunchy. Yuck

I didn't think a review of Chipotle was necessary, I travel all over the country and for the most part they are pretty consistent. Until I walked into this location! Guy behind the counter was less than enthusiastic about helping, he obviously was at the end of his shift. Got irritated when I asked for extra veggies...he then left my salad on the counter and walked away! Finally someone came over to finish my order. Went to fill up my large cup with ice tea...dispenser was bone dry! That would explain why a lady was standing there waiting. I asked about the tea, gal said it would be maybe 5 minutes...ate my meal and after about 10 minutes the dispenser was still bone dry! Went to the counter where bad attitude guy was getting his own burrito...good guess on the shift ending! I asked when the tea would be done...another 5 minutes or so...I then asked for a refund. While someone went to look for a manager for refund, bad attitude guy asked if I was fone and grabbed my cup and threw it in the trash! I read a few other comments from local patrons and the conclusion is this place sucks! Uncaring employees, bad attitudes and a horrible fly issue! Sorry, won't combing back here.

Let's face it! Chipotle is amazing no matter where you go, but this location was filthy! I walked in as they were opening an every single table was dirty. The floor looks like it hasn't been swept in days.

I guess I'm a little surprised at all the complaining about this place. Chipotle is Chipotle so food-wise, everyone knows the drill. This is definitely a popular spot so hitting it at peeks times may mean you have to wait in a line. However, complaining about portions seems ridiculous because all you have to say is "can I have some more [fill in the blank]?" I'm not sure why that doesn't occur to people. I guarantee they'll never say "no" if you simply ask. My boyfriend and I come to this Chipotle at least 3 or 4 times a week. The employees all know us by now so we hardly have to order anymore. The manager is extremely nice, and we've even received a free drink or two for having to wait a few minutes for some food to come off the grill. The best part about Chipotle though is that it's affordable and good quality food. My boyfriend went on the "Chipotle diet" this year and has already lost about 30 lbs. We eat brown rice bowls with black beans, veggies or chicken, and then some salsa, and a pinch of cheese. Low calorie and delicious. As far as Chipotles go, this is one of my favorites. It certainly can get busy but the food is always warm (something the Florence store struggles with) and everyone is friendly and more than willing to go the extra mile for customers. So let's stop bashing this place! It's awesome Newport even got a Chipotle!

So Chipotle just opened in Newport and to my surprise, there wasn't a line out the door when my coworkers and I came in. This location actually filled my burrito bowl..yay! It's Chipotle..good, but nothing spectacular.

Service is sometimes very quick sometime there's a line out the door and service is very slow. been there many a times at the standard chipotle

This is an exceptional chipotle. I always leave in a better mood than when I came in. The manager along with the crew are always cheery and personable. This is also the only chipotle I tip, as I feel blessed by their time to ensure my food is prepared well. Not only that but also to fight back against the dehumanization of ultra fast food with the expectation of being served by an automaton that only obeys commands. These guys are solid and they've earned my loyalty.

    Unbelievably slow.

It's Chipotle, so you know what you're getting food-wise. The portions are somewhat smaller than other locations, depending on which employee makes your food. What has earned them two stars is the fact that this is by far the slowest location I have ever been to. I have come here 3 times now and each time, there were less than 5 people in front of me but somehow, it still took 15 minutes to get my food. After waiting that long, you would think they'd at least make the portions heavy for the inconvenient wait. But no. You'll be disappointed there as well.

Slowest service at any Chipotle I've ever been to. Wow! I have been here multiple times and each instance has been bad. The food is good, but the wait is unreal.

I was so happy when I found out this was opening so close to my house. Stopped in on opening weekend and was not disappointed by the food or service. However, the space itself is pretty small. Doesn't help that the music was blaring full blast. Hopefully they've turned the volume down in the past week. Tip: Go in/out through the LaRosa's parking lot off Carothers and avoid the clustermess of Pavilion Pkwy.

I do love Chipotle...and this one is pretty good in Newport, Kentucky....But... I do have some concerns though: 1) I order the exact same thing every time I go....but I pay a different price nearly every single time. I just don't understand that at all. It can be pretty frustrating. 2) They are clearly covering their guacamole after they make it in a layer of water on top in hopes of getting it to not oxidize. The issue with this...is that this causes the water to seep in and wash out the flavors of the guacamole. It also changes the texture and lightens the color to this odd mint green look. I could eat a bowl of their fresh made guacamole...but with them now taking this shortcut and how it is affecting the product...I think I'll save my money. I would recommend just making smaller batches of fresh guacamole if this has become an issue. Or, place clear wrap over the guacamole PRIOR to adding the water to keep it from being absorbed. 3) In the beginning...it tasted like they were drizzling lime juice and salt over the fresh fried tortilla chips. Now...its just the salt. I know the lime may not seem like an important step but it definitely is missed!

This is by far the best chipotle I have been to in the greater Cincinnati area. This chipotle in particular has really friendly employees. They are very efficient, and they do their best to have fresh ingredients and a fresh smile. They are always friendly and ready to make sure I am comfortable with the portions and well taken care of.

I eat here at least once a week and they have always been quick and polite. Most of the time I place internet orders and it is ready for me when I walk in the door. In terms of service this is definitely the best Chipotle around..

Everytime I come to this location there is a line, but the employees help everyone at a very reasonable time. The portions of "scoops" are smaller than other locations I've been to, and the people are a lot less friendlier. But all in all, I'm very satisfied with it.

Very good food. I have visited other Chipolte Restaurants. Everything was wonderful. I ordered a chicken burrito loaded. The dining room was clean and the staff was very friendly. I recommend grabbing a yummy burrito from this Chipolte.

The good: the quality here is comparable to the other Chipotle locations that I've been to near Cincinnati. Pretty good considering that it's fast food. The bad: the portions are probably 10-15% smaller at this location. They also charge sales tax, and while there's no way around that, it does mean that a Chicken burrito here will cost you about 50 cents more than at any of the Cincinnati locations. I wouldn't mind at all if they gave the same amount of food here, but at this location you're not only paying more, but getting less food as well.

Let me start by saying, I LOVE CHIPOTLE! I think it's great. I was very excited about this location opening so close to my work and home. I think they've been open a month or so and I've been 4 times! However, each time I've been, I say I won't be back. I'd rather drive the extra distance to the Highland Heights location. The service is so slow that it would probably take the same amount of time even with the 15 minute round-trip drive. Each time I've been there hasn't been a long line and it still takes 20 minutes to get through. They also don't have a pick-up window for on-line orders which I normally take advantage of. I'm hoping the employees will get faster with experience and I can enjoy my neighborhood Chipotle soon!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
