This place sucks bad. I actually joined Yelp to leave this review. Place reeks of smoke. I walked in, sat at the bar and was there 10 minutes and never was greeted or served. The bartender was hunkered over iPhone while a couple of other servers hung out behind the bar and looked at me but said nothing. Ended up walking out without service.

Buffalo chicken pizza was great. Beer is cold. 4 pool tables. Dart boards. Awesome staff to help with what ever your thirst and/or hungry for. The guys next to me say the wings are good too.

Nick's is my favorite place to go for a drink in Murray. While it isn't an amazing experience by any means. It is a friendly joint that has good prices, excellent service, and friendly bartenders. The manager goes out of his way to make sure the place is run smoothly, and I always have a good time when I go. The new 'Beer Ball' machine, which is like skeeball, is also awesome. Why doesn't every single bar have a place like that? I don't know, but Nick's does. So go there.

Probably the best place in Murray as far as beer selection but otherwise the menu is pretty standard. Had the buffalo chicken pizza and it was ok but nothing to write home about. The waitress was super friendly and checked on me enough without it being annoying. As for it being a "sports pub"... well.... I guess it has some older TVs that would have some games on them but I'd probably stay home and watch a game before heading here.

Nights are loud and fun. During the day it's quite and awkward. BBQ burger is delicious and the super nachos can feed 3 or 4 people easily for 12 bucks.

This is a major draw in for the college students. Main place to go on the weekend or 21st birthday parties. Great drink selection. Food is okay, if you like to dip things in ranch i urge you to get a side of ranch because they have the best. Burgers are pretty good and pizzas are the usual. I wouldn't recommend this for a family place unless its before 6pm. Sometimes the drinkers get a little loud and obnoxious but its fun to watch and be a friendly place, service is usually pretty good unless too busy.

I like to play trivia and Nick's hosts live trivia on Tuesday nights. I had recently relocated back to Paducah, KY but had a trivia buddy living in Murray, so I made the trip about six times to play. Nick's is a large, spacious sports bar; it is very casual, and caters to college kids, drinkers, and people who are generally social, and okay with loud bars. Upon my first visit, I was shocked to discover that you can smoke indoors. I have been living in Atlanta for the last 20 years and most places have adopted a "no smoking" policy. I am not a smoker, so this was a decided negative for me. However, as a sports pub, and one that exists in a college town, I imagine this is ideal for them. The food is adequate bar food, with a few attempts at "upscaling." Nothing I had was bad, but I'm certainly not going to chase the cook down for the recipe. The beer selection is varied, and the staff was nice and timely. Trivia nights can get packed, but we rarely had to wait overly long for service. Really, this is a sports bar in a strip mall in a small college town. It pretty much delivers EXACTLY what you would expect, and hey, that's A-OK!
