Terrible service! Tried placing a carry out order around 4:45pm on a Sunday. Was immediately told to "hang on a second", then after waiting for exactly 5 minutes, I hung up. I could hear the servers/hostess in the background talking. They weren't busy. This was my first experience with Zoe's, but if this is how they treat their customers, I won't give them the chance to mistreat my food.

I was drawn to Zoës Kitchen by the healthy menu and numerous gluten free options but I'll return because the food is absolutely delicious! Zoës is a Mediterranean style fast-casual restaurant with reasonable prices and a friendly staff. The menu is very accommodating of special diets with gluten free and vegetarian items clearly marked. My roasted chicken was so tender that it fell apart when I touched it with my fork and the accompanying vegetables were well seasoned. I absolutely plan to visit again.

Here's what I like about this place: it's kid-friendly, and our son loves to sit at the table and fill up on the grilled chicken and sides of fruit and veggies. I get a chicken kabob or a quinoa salad - both feel healthy and are good, though it's not good I crave or really love. It's nice for a change of pace and a cheap meal for the family. We recently picked up two plain grilled chickens, each with a side, for $8 or so and took it home to add to salads for dinner. That was a good combo!

I've been here several times and always have an OK experience. The food itself is wonderful, very well cooked and all that. However, there is always a problem with the service. Three times now I have ordered food and they have gotten it wrong or forgotten one of my side items. One time they delivered my food to the wrong table, came back for it, and then tried to deliver it to me several minutes later without an apology. A friend has consistently had similar experiences, including two times when the girl at the cash register asked her repeatedly if she was feeling OK. Which is quite strange, especially considering my friend was just fine. It can also be hard to find a clean table. Last night a friend and I visited and three of these things happened to us again. My friend requested a refund for her cold and late meal, but I unfortunately threw away my receipt and wasn't able to get my side item that I paid for and did not receive. So, two stars because the food itself is good, but the service is awful.

Wow, extremely good food. I ended up getting both the Chicken Pita pizza and the shrimp kabobs. Both were extremely delicious. The pizza came with a side salad which was a typical Greek salad.. very tasty. If you want fast food that isn't deep fried then this is a great option with lots of ways to tickle anyones fancy.

After only my second trip to Zoe's, I emerged with a new appreciation for this chain. It's on par with Panera as a step up from fast food. The food is definitely fresh and seemingly healthy with a number of vegetarian and vegan options. I went for the spinach roll ups with the braised beans as my side. The beans are seasoned with rosemary, making for an interesting flavor combo. My meal was piping hot and very hearty. Though I went for a normal lunch, I left stuffed and not needing more than a light snack for dinner. My six-year-old daughter chose the chicken roll up from the kids menu and gobbled it up with the side of salsa, so she's a fan.

Great food, good atmosphere with relaxed, knowledgeable and welcoming employees. It is like panera, but Greek. I'd recommend the kabobs as mine were delicious and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The wait was not long which is always a plus. I can see this place becoming a restaurant I'll frequently go back to.

Great food! I got the chicken kabob. It came with rice, two kabobs, vegetables, a salad, and pita bread. It was absolutely delicious. The chicken was warm, and the salad was to die for. Each time I've gone there, the service was great and the food was awesome. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Lately this place has been completely hit or miss. My last three visits in a row have been a huge "miss". I am also sad to say that my "Meh. I've experienced better" also means "Meh, I've experienced better (at this location, in the past)". As a small aside, the place is not well-bussed between patrons. And I'm not talking times when the place is crowded and you can tell the staff is busting their chops to keep things moving. I'm saying, there will be maybe 7 out of 20 tables occupied and nobody even bothers to come out of the back kitchen to check the place out and just run a dishrag over the tabletop. I'm a creature of habit and typically order the same thing (it's one of two options: the same salad and the same side item or the same cup of soup and the same side item), which always equals under $6. Zoe's is now offering a "PICK TWO!" option, which includes choosing a combination of any two from a bowl of soup, a side salad, a side item, and a dessert. The caps and exclamation point aren't my own addition, the menu actually advertises this option in this way. This particular combination isn't a great deal in most cases. The PICK TWO! is $6.69. Let's do some math on the choices: Bowl of soup = $4.39 Side salad = $3.69 All other sides $2.09 Dessert (cookie) = $1.99 Dessert (cake) = $2.29 So, a bowl of soup and a side salad ($8.08), you come out ahead. Literally any other combination and the PICK TWO! is a bad deal. Even if you choose a bowl of soup and a piece of cake ($6.68) it's still a penny more to do the PICK TWO!. On my first two bad visits, the person first asked if I wanted to do a PICK TWO! when I ordered a side salad and a side item ($5.78). I couldn't find PICK TWO! on the menu, but assumed it was a good deal, so I said "Ok!" It wasn't until I sat down and scrutinized my receipt incredulously that I realized I had been gypped out of $0.91. On the second bad visit (same order), the person didn't even ask if I wanted to change to PICK TWO! and did it automatically. On the third, I was much more prepared and told the person under no circumstances should they ring up my order as a PICK TWO! On this visit, I ate with a friend, and we both arrived separately and both ordered (separately) the same thing (side salad, side item). It took about 15 minutes for my order to arrive, and only after I went back to the counter and asked if it was on the way. But for my friend (who didn't get all specific about avoiding the designation of PICK TWO!), it took over 30 minutes for her food to be brought out. This was after TWO! (couldn't help it) trips to the counter to ask where the food was. Does it seriously take a half hour to toss together a side Greek salad and dish out some slaw?!? I have to add that there was no apology from the manager for the delay and no offer to comp her meal. The cookies are still awesome. Other than that, I find the staff to be inattentive and the menu to be overpriced for the fast casual genre. I may pop in for a cookie, but after 3 strikes, this Zoe's is out.

Really liked this place. I had the protein power plate, which was grilled chicken over slaw. The slaw was delicious. Cabbage with onion and feta cheese (lots of it!) in a tasty (and supposedly "light") vinaigrette dressing. At my table others had ordered sandwiches that looked great and the steak kabob. Oh yes, and the hummus was great. I wish we had one of these in Lexington!!

I've been to Zoe's Kitchen several times since moving to Louisville 2 months ago. I'm in no way versed on the authenticity of Mediterranean cuisine, so I can't speak on that. That being said, it's good. I get the chicken kabobs with brown rice and it comes with a side of pita bread and a small salad. The salad is fresh with a variety of greens, feta cheese, and a few vegetables. The dressing for it is a basic oil and vinegar - but it's great. The chicken is well seasoned with herbs and is skewered with peppers, onions, and tomatoes. It's spread over a rice pilaf - which is sometimes a little overdone. For the price and convenience, Zoe's Kitchen is always a great choice for me. I can spend under $10 and get a quick meal that's way better than any drive-thru.

Just okay, but their salads are loaded with feta and mixed greens if that's your forte. Chicken Pita Pizza was tasty, but the tomato sauce was a bit too runny. My husband got the Steak Wraps. It was smaller than he expected, but if you like onions and mushrooms, you'll enjoy it. His entree came with pasta salad. It had some kind of herb in it that didn't belong, not your expected thyme or basil.

I go to Zoe's on a regular basis because I like their healthy alternative to other quick service restaurants. The chicken kabobs are a go-to for me.

I was really looking forward to trying Zoes but after having lunch there today was sadly dissappointed. I had the spinach wrap with chicken which came with 1 side. I had the pasta salad for the side. Big disappointment on both! The wrap was very tasteless and the pieces of chicken, (very few in the wrap) were small and dry. Thank goodness for the small dish if salsa to dip it in or it wouldn't have had any flavor at all. I love pasta salads and coldn't wait to try Zoes. Again, big disappointment. How can you make pasta salad DRY also??? It had shell pasta, finely shredded cheese and some small mushy pieces of tomato but I don't think there was any moisture to speak of at all on the pasta. I had to add some of the greek dressing from the bottle on the table just to make it palatable! My companion had the club pita. You guessed it...tasteless. He said it was mostly lettuce. He had the white beans for the side and said they were the best part of the meal! We both had the limeaid and it was very tasty! For $20.00 for a simple lunch, it wasn't worth it!!! Sorry Zoes but I don't think we will be back very soon if at all.

I love the chicken kabobs. They are very tasty and such a healthy alternative. The kabobs come with a Greek side salad that is very fresh. It also comes with rice, but I always trade for vegetables and they are well flavored. The prices are reasonable and the food comes to the table pretty quickly. This location also has an outdoor seating option.

I enjoyed Zoes very much. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I've only been once, and I believe it could be biased of me to rave over one experience. Zoes is Greek-based, which I adore. I had the Mediterranean chicken with white beans, pita bread, and Greek Salad. The Greek salad didn't have potato salad in it, as some typically do, but it was fresh and delicious. The Mediterranean chicken was savory and juicy. The white beans were seriously delicious.... seriously. And pita bread... it was fresh and soft, of course. I ordered to go - I believed the price was fair for what I received. They have huge, soft chocolate chip cookies that look amazing - but I didn't try them. The staff were friendly. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
