Stopped in spontaneously for my first meal of the day before I went to check out some Sluggers. They nicely labeled the menu for their gluten-free items. I chose chicken salad plus fruit. The amount of fruit was huge--at least a pound--composed of grapes, pineapple, two slices of cucumber, a few cherry tomatoes, and what appeared to be two entire huge Granny Smith apples cubed. This was served on a bed of greens along with some chicken salad of the shredded (not cubed) variety. After paying the cashier, you take a number to your table and wait for a runner to bring you your food. The space is very tall and has floor to ceiling windows so it is flooded with natural light. The decor features honey-colored wood and orange. It's bright and cheery. The chicken salad was fine, and a good portion size for me. I probably finished less than half the fruit. It was truly a huge portion. There was a mystery, though. Many of my grapes still had stems attached. Not really a problem--except that the first one scared me a bit because I thought it was a chicken bone. Once I realized what it was, I ceased panicking and did grape surgery. I probably removed at least a dozen stems. Sloppy work in the prep department. Other than that, ok food, atmosphere, and value.

Poor customer service- and the food looked terrible! My pizza came cold- and the toppings were so uneven!!

Always a good choice. The food tastes fresh and is full of flavor. It is a bit pricey but no different than chains like qdoba or chipotle. I love the new quinoa salad and my experiences with the greek salad were wonderful. It's somewhere I didn't know was so close to work until recently so I plan on making more visits. If you don't like Mediterranean then obviously it's not a good choice, but the food quality is on point. The staff at this location on jefferson street is helpful and friendly and the service is fast!

The food was good both times I've tried (once dining in, once part of a catering event). Everything tasted healthy and well seasoned. I forgot what I got the first time. The chicken kabob was good the 2nd time. There was enough to eat, but for some reason, I felt like the items were priced a bit too high, higher than qdoba. I can't put my finger on it though. Maybe it's my preference for something more unique that a chain restaurant won't have. It's nice and clean in a convenient location for those working downtown. Parking spots nearby are metered, so bring your change (though I believe some meters in that area now take credit/debit cards). It's a refreshing option, in contrast to your usual McD and such. I can't complain, but I'm not in love with it. There was a $30 delivery charge for our lunch order of 15 meals.

I've been here twice and I'll never go back. The first time, I had the worst Mediterranean dish I've ever had (I don't know how you make hummus and pita that bland), and then today, I got a signature grilled turkey sandwich, waited forever for it, and it came out looking and tasting like it had been sitting around for an hour. To make things worse, the chips I asked for weren't included. I'll never be back. There are too many good restaurants here to bother with places like this.

I had a Groupon to Zoës Kitchen that was near expiration, so I recently stopped by. Unfortunately the downtown location is only open at lunchtime, which is why it took me so long to get here. I arrived for an early lunch and was able to order right away. However, there were so many delicious-sounding items on the menu that it took me a few minutes to scan and figure out what I wanted. I decided to go with the steak rollups (I crave steak frequently... including right now.), which came with a side of my choosing. Since I'm on Weight Watchers (Yeah, I'm pretty sure no one would believe me based on the reviews of what I eat.), I opted for a side of fruit. The rollups were a good size with good meat--not too much but plenty of food--and the fruit wasn't anything crazy, but I would say it was probably better than your typical fruit cup. I didn't really care for the sauce that came with the rollups, but no biggie. A bonus is that they have nutrition information online. It was a bummer however when I looked up the info for those steak rollups... yikes. There are plenty of healthy options on the menu though, which is nice if you are trying to plan a meal in advance with nutrition in mind. My order was "to go" since I needed to get back to work. With a $20 Groupon to spend, I also got an extra chicken kabob meal I gave to a coworker. I didn't ask her what she thought about it, but it looked good. That meal came with a Greek salad. The variety of sides and options are near perfect--plenty of options but not a huge overwhelming menu. I also picked up an extra order of hummus and pita. It's pretty yummy, though I was admittedly stuffed with my rollups, so I still have some in the fridge. Oh, and back to my "to go" order, it was quickly prepared, and they kindly brought my order, nicely boxed and bagged, over to me. The service was great, and the facility itself was very clean. The bright colors are a bonus; it looked fresh and fun. Zoës Kitchen offers a different option for lunch with a good variety of dishes. I am between 3 and 4 stars on this review. There was nothing "bad" about it by any means; I would just like to try it out and taste different things before I up it to 4 (or 5??) stars. All-in-all, it Zoës offered good food and a solid experience, and I would gladly go back.

Outstanding staff! They went out of their way to make sure we were having a good experience. The food was very good too. The fresh fruit was actually fresh! So many healthy options. I will come back.

The chicken kabob plate is pretty good! The chicken, rice and assorted veggies are all pretty tasty and the service was very friendly.

A pretty sterile, regional chain but a fine lunch spot. The best thing it has going for it is that much of the menu seems pretty healthy. And while a healthy meal for $10 doesn't seem much to ask for, it's not a possibility in a staggering number of downtown places. And the food is pretty good. After eating here, I don't generally feel like I have to go work out. Or take a nap. Or swear off food.

I was hoping for more, I really was. I wanted so badly to like Zoes Kitchen because I liked the whole concept of good wholesome ingredients, prepared fresh from scratch. However, I ended up feeling like I paid way too much for the mediocre meal I received. I ordered the steak roll up after reading the menu description. What I ended up getting was a lot of dry bland tortilla and a tiny amount of meat and onions. It certainly was a disappointment after ho good the description made it sound. The potato salad that was served with it was tasty, and that saved this review from being a one star bomb. The only reason I would go back to Zoes kitchen at this point would be the awesome chocolate cake. It was excellent and quite possibly will be the reason I even contemplate going back.

I snatched up a Groupon recently to try out Zoes Kitchen, and used it today. This was actually really good, reasonably priced and fast. The decor is lively and clean as well. I had chicken kabobs which I liked. It came with rice and a small Greek salad, and I bought a large cookie to go with it to use up the rest of the Groupon. It was good, fast and my meal was under $10. I'd go back, and I'll recommend it to my friends.
