Went there on a Sunday night, should have known something was a miss when the place was empty. Ordered a large Brunswick stew and a Diet Coke. Of course when I got to the fountain the Diet Coke and Coke Zero were both out of order. Brunswick stew came out and was cold and had chewy chicken in it. Additionally I received 2 small bowls, instead of 1 regular one?? The stew also was bland and tasted like it had been microwaved. Both kids meals also were bland and portions were small. Will not go back!

Messy but worth it. Kid friendly plus good food and reasonable prices attracts crowds. I like the chicken but the rest of the family usually goes for the ribs. The kids like the Mac & Cheese.

So my mom and I were out this way running wedding errands and decided to stop for lunch. Being the BBQ nut that I am, I decided on Shane's because I had only been there once before and that was years ago. When we walked in our noses were treated to that delicious smokey BBQ smell that we all know and love! I got the chopped BBQ chicken plate with mac and cheese and green beans. Let me start by saying that the mac and cheese was amazing! It was cheesy without being greasy and absolutely delicious. The green beans were great and the chicken was moist and delicious. I love Shane's sauces so I doused my chicken in a combination of hot, honey, and original BBQ. I think that hot is my favorite because I love spice! All in all, Shane's is a wonderful little place to grab a quick, inexpensive, and yummy BBQ bite!

Ribs, chicken tenders, pork barbecue very good. Great sauces and large selection. Green beans pretty good not to salty or greasy like a lot of places. Potato salad was good but potatoes doesn't taste smoked like a lot of restaurants. Will be back

We just moved into our house and we were dead tired and it was late so went to Shane's which is by our new house. They were about to close but as soon as the manager heard we just moved here, he told us to sit down and he brought us a ton of food and threw in the left over cobbler from the day for free. Class move. Food was really good. Portions were big and food had great flavor.

We had the full rack of ribs with a large side of fries and a pint size of Mac and cheese. This was just the right amount for two famished individuals, and more than enough for the average couple. The total was about $30 and we felt that we got our monies worth. The service was fast and very friendly. For a fast food joint, the food was tasty and just about what you would expect. We would definitely recommend coming here if you are in a rush and would like some yummy rib dinners.

Shane's is all over Georgia and Florida, but they are hard to find here in Kentucky. If you haven't been here then you really should try it out. Now that I know that one exists in Louisville my boyfriend and I have gone here a lot in the past month. The service here is good and they get your order out fast. You even leave with some leftovers because you may find that you can't eat all of your meal since they give you so much food.

This is a BBQ place and I had a BBQ sandwich. My sandwich was pretty good I am picky on BBQ so it wasn't my favorite. However my husband and I split an order of chicken wings and they were wonderful. I would recommend trying the wings!! Also my husband got a sandwich and green beans and the green beans were great. The last time I was there I had the ribs and they were really good. I would have got them again but only wants something on the lighter side since I wanted to try the wings after reading a review on yelp.

I'm from TX so my standards are high for BBQ. The pulled pork was very good. Green beans are delicious. The ribs, I could do without - Very bland. The chicken wings are very good! My only complaint was that The chicken tenders were not fully cooked. It wasn't raw but needed another five or so to be cooked ALL the way. Friendly service. I would go again. Pulled pork and green beans are worth it.

I don't know about the pork or ribs but you can't get these kind of chicken tenders anywhere else. Get them fried then tossed in a sauce and then dip them in a sauce! Doesn't get any better. 5 stars on the tenders for sure. Potato salad great. Need to try some other items but may just keep going back for the chicken. For the price of fast food you can get some great hand crafted food.

I love Shane's! So much of their food is so great: their ribs, the pulled chicken, pulled pork, half chicken, and the wings. The sauces are great too! The other things I've had that weren't great were their salad (which they loaded with fat) and their burger (tastes frozen).

This is one of our favorites when we want meat. The pulled pork is probably our favorite, followed by the wings. They also have the best okra in town.

Food was good. Prices were reasonable and staff was laid back and friendly. You order and pay upfront and then take a number and they bring you your order. Pulled pork came with sauce but not too much and had good flavor. Fries and green been were good and the kids' grilled cheese was good.

This rib place is alright. I think I like famous Dave's more. The meat was decent and the sauce was decent too, but it just didn't taste as good as other rib places. I also ordered some chicken tenders, who I thought didn't have any flavor at all. Overall, this is an okay fast food rib place. If you're craving for some ribs and you like 2 min away, by all means come to this place. But if you have some time to spare and want some good ribs, go else where. They give you lots of food for the price though.

While no one goes to a bbq place for health food, there is still a point where greasy is no longer a sufficient adjective. I ordered the Big Daddy, the typical pork bbq sandwich expecting nothing more, nothing less. What I tried to eat was a good portion of meat laced with large hunks of fat, and soaked in so much grease that the bread fell apart from saturation before I took the first bite. The waxy wrapping paper was completely transparent. When McDs can be considered healthy compared to your sandwich, it's time to change something.
