First time I had ever eaten there. The food was good. I ordered a pasta, salad, and bread sticks. Some of the best bread sticks I have ever eaten. I DO NOT like bread sticks because there normally too hard or too much garlic but these were soft and perfect. Nothing really bad to say.

Friendly staff! The meals were good and the breadsticks were to die for... And they keep them coming, as many as your belly desires! Great place for a quick Italian style meal!

I haven't lived in KY since December of 2007, but I ate at this place as recently as that, because I used to eat there at an almost weekly basis. It drove my friends insane because everytime we wanted to go eat somewhere I always tried to get us to go here. They have some of the best fetuccini alfredo ever, and it IS the best for the price. It's better than Olive Garden's, and for only a fraction of the price. You'd have to go to a fancy, authentic Italian restaurant to get better. The service is also always pretty speedy and all of the staff were really polite when I used to go there, but bear in mind this was almost 2 years ago now. They also give out free breadsticks last I knew, which are pretty good, but I hope you aren't counting calories or whatever because they're essentially drenched in butter and salt. Their spaghetti is pretty good too, and their pizza is ok, although it used to be better. Do NOT buy their lasagna though. Really. It tastes like a sponge dipped in tomato sauce. They came out with "new and improved" lasagna right before I moved away, I guess because it got around how crappy their old lasagna was, but it wasn't better. It was basically the same, except with more meat.

We've been to Fazoli's a couple times now, and it's great! Fast and easy service. The twice baked lasagna is extremely delicious. It has the right amount of sauce, not all watery. A balanced amount of ground beef with just enough sauce, and the lasagna noodles are tasty with cheese that stretch for days. In addition to their yummy lasagna they also serve a little bowl of salad before the main course. SO ITALIAN! Plus, they have bread sticks. I would usually get the twice baked lasagna, a salad with ranch dressing, bread sticks and a cup of water. Hubbz also really enjoys the twice baked lasagna, but he eats it with ceasar dressing, and mountain dew. Either way Fazoli's is amazing Italian. Service here is great, people here are super nice, and they should totally start one of these in California. Oh, plus they have a drive thru!!!

I stopped in here on my move across country for a quick lunch. I used to love Fazoli's when I was in undergrad & haven't been to one in ages since they didn't exist in the last few place I've lived. Unfortunately, this place didn't live up to the love in my memories... my breadsticks (which were always my fave part) were soggy, tasteless, and cold. And the rest of my food was just blah.

Having ate at this Favoli's several times, I can critic it based off past experiences. They have changed the system a few times recently. I ate there yesterday and was starving and exhausted. Except for the semi-short waiting period, everything was perfect. I completely emptied my bowl of baked spaghetti and ate two delicious breadsticks. I enjoy this restaurant particularly because of the Italian music they always have playing in the background. Its a great place to relax with friends, family, or even as a lone ranger.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
