Very tasty tacos. Great, celebratory ambiance.

Rincon is always a solid Mexican food option in Lexington. Plenty of seating, solid service, good Mexican food, and both types of Dos Equis on tap. Never a bad meal here.

Rincon is OK, and typical of what one would expect of most Ameri-Mex restaurants. I had chilaquiles for lunch on one visit, but memories of that which I had in Cabo came back to strong to give this version very high marks. On a visit for dinner, I had the carne asada, which was very tender and flavorful, and surrounded by the usual accompaniments. Service was satisfactory on both occasions. I've been to Mexico mucho times, thus I'm aware that Mexican food here is what it is, and finding more authentic food is a task. Personally,, I'd rather head over to Maria's on Broadway -- except all the hot sauce in the world isn't going to warm me on her patio during the winter.

Went there for the first time tonight. I have to go back 15 or 20 years to recall both service and food that was sooo bad. Sat there for close to 15 min and finally got some cold semi stale chips with salsa that was so runny and tasteless that it wouldnt even stay on the chip. Manager finally noticed me and got me a beer and took my order. Took 4 bites of the enchiladas supreme, paid for my meal left tip and left. Sauce was burnt days ago. Still cant get the taste out of my mouth. The waitress told the manager, who never came back out. Wont be back.

Waiters were great but food was very bland. Not worth 60.00 for two. Would not eat there again

Quick, comfortable, and reasonably priced! We were greeted and seated immediately. Complimentary chips and salsa were placed on our table before we even opened our menus. Cheese quesadilla was very cheesy, served with guac and sour cream and pico de gallo. This was a good value considering portion, quality, and price, and in comparison to other Tex Mex restaurants. Carne asada burrito was fairly good. Steak was very tender, drenched in their mildly spiced cream sauce, served with Mexican rice and refried beans. Also a good sized portion. Food came quick, within 5 minutes of ordering. Waiter was friendly and efficient. Sodas were refilled immediately. We didn't get alcohol but the options and prices seemed in line. Total was $24 for chips and salsa (free), 2 sodas (free refills), cheese quesadilla, carne asada burrito meal, tax, and tip.

They were really great for a large group we were in, for my sister-in-law's graduation. There were some 20 to 30 people, all on separate checks with separate orders, and the staff was attentive, kind, and very accommodating. They let us decorate the tables and the staff got drink orders as soon as guests (all arriving at different times) came to our area. All this, and they were still maintaining a lunch service. Very impressive, and I had no issues getting a vegan/vegetarian option. They did a really good job (and well, the margaritas were great too :)

I met a friend here and we only had a few drinks which is why I am only giving three stars. I'm not too sure what the food is like but I'm sure it your typical Mexican flare.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
