Best BBQ Restaurant in Central Kentucky! Bill & Ernie Haney & family have done an outstanding job! Great atmosphere, food can't be best, quality is great! If you like Burgoo, you will leave here living their Burgoo! Stop by and see Bill and Ernie, let them know how much you enjoyed the food!

I went here because several people told me how much they enjoyed it. Everyone was friendly, the eating area clean and prices average, if not slightly cheaper than some other BBQ places in town. The shredded pork had a great flavor without the sauce. But I didn't like the sauces. I tried the 'Bama sauce and didn't like it at all. The green beans were great. The Mac-n-Cheese was too spicy for my taste. The Corn Pudding was runny. I took one bite and threw the rest away. Tell me if I did this wrong. But I'm not a fan.

I love BBQ it's my favorite food group but I must say I was not overly impress with this stuff. I had the ribs, baked bean and slaw pretty standard stuff I thought the ribs were pretty dried out and had to use sauce on them or they were WAY to dry. I would have thought left in smaller to long but they really did not have a great smoke flavor or smoke ring. The baked bean were pretty good and the slaw was very solid. Place is clean food was services quickly, you order at window and they bring food to your table. My or my not go back when in area but I alway try to give a restaurant a second chance

Saw this place had great ratings and decided to give it a go! It was only a couple of miles from my hotel and is located in a strip mall. It looks like a typical BBQ joint on the inside with red checkered plastic table cloths and rolls is paper towels on each table. The menu is simple, which I'm a big fan of. I find that if you keep it simple you can concentrate on putting out a better product. The place is clean and the service is friendly and attentive. I had the small pulled pork Daily Square Meal deal. It is a pulled pork sandwich served with two sides. I opted for the coleslaw and the jacked mac n cheese. The pulled pork was served plain which allows you to put your choice of sauce on it (hot or mild). The meat was tender and flavorful and the mild sauce was mild and just sweet enough. The jacked Mac n cheese is spicy and delicious, I could have seriously eaten another helping! And the coleslaw was cut in larger pieces but was fresh and had a nice sweet, but not overly sweet together. I like putting the coleslaw on my sandwich so it's a big yummy messy that I have to eat with a fork and this did not disappoint! I would definitely come back here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and delicious lunch or dinner at affordable prices.

Great place mist people don't know. Word spreading fast now. They have a large and varied menu to choose from. Meats smoked perfectly. Several meal combo deals! Portions are really good sized, not skimpy! Sides list extensive and homemade. Jacked Mac and cheese a must try. Potato salad, baked beans, corn pudding, slaw, fries,green beans,sweet pot fries,tatr tots, onion rings,soup and more! Ribs-wow. Country ham is awesome! Wings smoked and glad fried-wow. Burgos, chili, huge bacon sandwich! Staff are super nice people. Catering and delivery. GIVE these guys a try as they are making a name for themselves. We love it!!!

I'm not a huge BBQ fan, but I'd go back to Double H next time we are in Lexington for sure! Great BBQ!! Portions are great size & price is right. Pulled pork & BBQ sauces are delicious and the pork rinds are fantastic!!

Loved this place. Some of the best BBQ in Lexington with a super friendly staff. One of my new favorites. Definitely check it out and definitely try their hot sauce.

Just discovered this place 3/2014 on yelp. Love the pulled pork, corn pudding, burgoo. Been open about two years. Staff is friendly, food is reasonably priced , 100 health rating. Like this place a lot!

Good place. Very friendly. They got a 100 on their food inspection. The brisket was tasty as was the pulled chicken. The sides were pretty good and the ribs were very flavorful.

I'm a BBQ connoisseur, although I usually make my own on a pellet smoker. I travel a lot for work and love trying BBQ in various places. I usually wouldn't stop at a place with only one review, but decided to give it a try. My wife and I both ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich. To me pulled pork is pulled pork--it pretty much depends on the sauce, and the sauce was GREAT! We both loved the hot as well. The staff was attentive and friendly, gave us some brownies on the house and a toy flying pig for our two-year-old. It was a fun experience. Would love to try their ribs sometime.

Best BBQ in Kentucky!!! Old family recipes...amazing sauce (if you like) and ohhhh so fresh....ribs and pulled pork to die for! Tasty homemade sides and desserts too... Awesome hospitality and service. When you visit Kentucky, make the trip to Double H for lunch or early dinner. Hey, they do catering also. I highly recommend this little family BBQ spot. Bon appetite, y'all.
