if you're a vegetarian, you can eat the cheese here. it's free of animal derived rennet and the corn salsa is quite tasty! i love their rice. i love that they use raw sugar packets that contain no bone char. did you know sugar is processed with bone char? now you do.

I've eaten at this Chipotle about 200 times in the past few years, maybe more. It's our 'go to' place when we are hungry, need food quick, but do NOT want 'fast food'. We all love it. Every time we have been, we have been treated as if we are special, not sure why, but they go out of their way to speak to us, remember us, and make us feel welcome. Despite being on UK's campus, it is always clean, and the staff is always friendly - even during K Week, even during SEC, even during NCAA, finals week, you name it. Many times we have waited in a line out the door, down the street. Obviously we are not the only ones who think it is consistently good food for a good price. We like it all - bowl, salald, burrito, quesadilla, tacos ... I like the chicken, my son likes the steak. Special thanks to the managers - Greg Mohegan and Jairo Castilla, as well as Taute'anna and others who always treat us right. Great food, great price, clean and friendly staff.

Do not park in McDonald's parking lot for chipotle. They will tow you. This place is popular and gets very crowded during lunch time. Food is good. Service is good. Definitely the place to go after finishing up exams.

I was in town for a conference and stopped here for lunch. It was my first chipotle experience, and it was delish! Didn't take long at all to get my food during my lunch break.

The food is good. It could be better, but this is a chain. However, it is expensive. Despite the cost, I don't think my friends (or anyone for that matter) should pay for it with plastic. They really get your wallet with the chips and salsa. I can understand charging extra for guacamole. However $1.25 is too much.

This is the only Chipotle restaurant where I've received consistently poor service and food. Unfortunate, because I otherwise enjoy Chipotle for fast, semi-affordable, quality food. I have not enjoyed my service at this particular Chipotle for several reasons: 1. The portions are very inconsistent. 2. I have had to wait for ingredients to be prepared the last several times I've visited the restaurant, despite the fact that business was very slow. 3. Employees have been totally unapologetic about the lack of ingredients, and have acted annoyed when I have chosen to wait for the ingredients I want rather than substituting (I'm vegetarian, so no, I don't want to the pinto beans cooked with pork instead of black beans, but thanks for pressuring me, employee). 4. Burritos and burrito bowls have been made sloppily. For example, the bowl I most recently purchased was about 2/3 full of liquid when I opened it up. That liquid had spilled all over the counter when the employee packaged it up to go, but she felt no need to apologize, warn me, or offer a different meal. Sorry, Chipotle, it's been a good run. This restaurant was much better when I was a freshman (in 2007), but the standards have been severely relaxed. I'm sad to say that I will not be returning.

DON'T PARK IN MCDONALD'S PARKING LOT!!!! My coworker and I stopped by Chipotle during the week for a quick lunch. He wanted Chipotle and I wanted McD's Came out and my company vehicle was gone. Called Metro towing who is on the sign. Stated that they have "security" at the parking lot and I was illegally parked. I was also parked next to 2 Lexington Police cars which both police officers where eating in Chipotle!!!! Worst part of it was that I was actually over at McD's getting food but the tow company didn't care.

I didn't know about Chipotle until I moved to Lexington about 5 years ago, but I can now say it is my favorite place to eat, hands down. About $7 and you get a burrito that is more than a lot of people can handle. Delicious, fast, inexpensive. Only downside for some people might be the limited menu--burrito, taco, salad--but when you make something this good you don't need to make anything else. Better than Qdoba.

Any weekday I would rate this a 5 star. I was here on a Saturday around 2 and had to wait 15 min to get served. Food is great but weekend staff was slow. Don't park in the parking lot as you will be towed.

I had an extremely delicious (and HUGE) Barbacoa burrito. We were there at lunchtime, and it's right near the university, so needless to say it was quite crowded. However, the line moved rapidly, and I thoroughly enjoyed my food. The parking situation is kind of bad, because McDonald's has usurped the entire lot.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
