This review is based on a carry out order on a Sunday. We ordered two Philly cheesesteak omelets with hash browns & toast. We called in the order & they told us it would be about 10-15 minutes. We set out for Huddle House & arrived about 20 minutes after we ordered. We got our food home & it was still pretty warm. The omelets are big. We were able to split the omelets 2 ways, so 2 omelets fed 4 people. We made some extra potatoes for the hash browns. I was impressed with the omelet. It was very cheesy & the steak in the cheesesteak was good. The eggs were fluffy and the hash browns were cooked well. I enjoyed the take out from Huddle House.

Huddle House, where to begin... Requested two chicken clubs to go as we were in a rush. They forgot the drinks...twice, then got to our order about 30 minutes after sitting down. Nice guy but not sure the line cook could read. That made our orders particularly hard I bet. They grilled the chicken for the duration but seemed to forget about the rest of the ingredients. Overall, pretty bad. Cold cheese on the burnt chicken was pretty rough. "No jukebox, but they do have a claw machine." You're wrong sir, they do have a jukebox now. They should probably focus on the food before the music (of which there was none). Cheers

Disgusting!!! Cigarette smoke everywhere!! They should not allow smoking, nobody wants a cloud of nasty foul smoke when they are trying to eat. What are they thinking allowing smoking? Stay far away from this place!!

The Huddle House seems to be a cleaner version of Waffle House. It's best to stay with breakfast food here. Waffles are light and very good. The chicken fried steak is all right - nothing spectacular but crispy enough with decent gravy. The sausage patties are very good: a nice, lightly spicy flavor and not at all greasy. One interesting development: the grits. Despite growing up in the south (North Carolina), I never developed a taste for them. I do understand that they tend to be a blank canvas for whatever you put on them, such as butter. For some reason, the grits here had a pronounced peppery taste, according to a dining companion. The cook said that the grits were the way he always made them, but we suspect he mixed up something. Maybe next time we will see how they taste - when I say "we," I mean someone else who likes grits. But not to worry. Service was very good. When I ordered a breakfast meal in the evening, the waitress encouraged me to switch to the dinner version (chicken fried steak with home fries) to save a little money. How can you not like that? One more point for those traveling through. You are in the South, which means the single room restaurant has a smoking and a non-smoking section. The smoke didn't seem to carry to the non-smoking side, but be aware in case you are senstitive to cigarette smoke.

This is a small one. There was a smoker on one end and the smoke did carry over to the non smoking area. After waiting 45 minutes for 2 burgers, we left.

Pretty dirty for a slow late afternoon. Bathroom door was hard to lock. Servers just milling about instead of sweeping the gross floor or wiping down dirty tables. We got milkshakes to go. I would skip this place. The servers, while inattentive, were pleasant. The shakes were mediocre.

This place may be a little hard to find as it is located down the drive to a motel and is the last rstaurant on the left as you enter the motel. The place is small however was clean and the food and service was good the day we stopped. If traveling through this area this intersection is agood intersection to get off of Interstate 24. There are three gas statiosn and three restaurants. We usullay stop at huddles for breakfast.

Surprisingly clean with very fresh-tasting food. It was between meals when I got there, 3pm, and the staff were very busy stocking and cleaning, not wasting a moment. The service was friendly and quick. And the coffee's good. Who could complain about all that?

Where else can you go at 3 am in Kuttawa/Eddyville? I mean, come on, you can eat shrimp and/or eggs at any hour of the day. On top of that, what other restaurant gives you the chance to win a raffle for St. Louis Cardinals baseball tickets? Yes, the owner is my friend. However, I have been to this place so many times it's sickening. The grilled chicken sandwich is the stuff. Ask for your hash browns extra crispy.
