I am not a fan of fast food, but Rally's was surprisingly good. In S.C. there is a place called Checkers, which I think is the same company, having never tried Checkers, but the look from the outside is identical. I ordered the beufort with fries and a spicy chicken a few days later. The burger was really good, the onions were the purple ones that I love (I think they are called red onions) the sauce they use is like the Miccy D's special sauce but tangier. There was a vacant building across the street I had noticed while waiting in line at the drive through, paid it little attention and moved on. When I returned to my hotel, I had to inquire about the vacant, dilapidated building and to my surprise, it used to be a Burger King. Apparently once Rally's established their location, within the year Burger King was out of business. That says a lot.

I have food allergies and can't have mayo or cheese. They messed up my order several times. The staff was very rude when I went back. When giving my order I normally have to yell it into the drive thru speaker about 15times so they can hear me. I love their spicy chicken and fries, but I may choose another rally's for my lunch during work because of how rude and ignorant the staff is. If I didn't have a food allergy I wouldn't be making such a fuss.... Very annoying and rude.

Usually Rally's is great for a quick and cheap dinner, but I may think twice next time. The food tastes good, but during my latest trip there they forgot one of my sandwiches. No big deal right? It wasn't until I gave him my receipt and asked if I could have the burger they forgot. He walks back to the grill and calls me a bitch so that I can hear, and my son who's in the car with me. The manager didn't do anything except apologize then goes into the back. She comes back 3-4 minutes later and asks if he brought back my sandwich yet. Well actually no he hasn't, he's been at the other window talking to one of his friends instead. So she goes back to get it and apologizes again, doesn't offer me anything until I start to ask if this is their idea of great customer service, cause it sure wouldn't fly at my job. Then she offers to replace my order for free at my next visit. You think I want to come back here again? I get home and look at the sandwich, you know, checking for spit, all that fun stuff. Well it looks a bit suspicious so I call up and ask the manager exactly which one of the employees made my sandwich. Well guess who it was, the same employee who thinks its ok to verbally degrade paying customers. The manager tries to assure me that he would never do that, he's not that type of person. Really? So you hire the type of people who like to call your customers names instead? Hmm, well i'm tossing the sandwich anyway, I can't feed my son something that may or may not have your employee's saliva all over it. So if you want to eat at a place that may or may not include the employee's DNA in your meal be my guest, but don't be surprised if you get degraded while trying to get a quick dinner after a hectic day at work.

I really like Rally's. All of their food that I've tasted is good. They have the best fries out of any fast food restaurant that I've ever tasted. All of their sandwiches I've ever tasted are good also. I especially like their spicy chicken sandwich, and their chili cheese burger, though I believe they have changed the way they make their chili cheese burger and I like it much better the old way so I have to tell them I want it plain. Normally I would give them 4 stars, however I've had awful service from them on more than one occasion therefore I can only give them 3 stars. One of the experiences was so bad that my husband refuses to ever eat there again. We had four people with us and they gave us wrong food for one person, we asked them to replace his 2 sandwiches and they got the manager who got smart with us and said that they gave us what we ordered. When we told them what we ordered they demanded that we give back all of the food, even though the rest of the order was correct so that they could check and see for themselves what was messed up and then they remade everything which made us wait even longer. This happened over a year ago, and I think it's kind of silly to hold grudges on restaurants because I'm sure they have different workers now anyways... however that one incident has made it to where I very rarely eat here anymore since I usually go out to eat with my husband. I'd be willing to give them another chance, but it won't be very often.

Next time you are in a hurry and need some fast food, hit up a Rally's instead of the more popular chains. It's a good change of pace as far as fast food goes. Not great by any means, but gets the job done.
