I'm not a fan of this place. I was so excited when they opened thinking there would be some fun gourmet treats to try with friends over coffee. I was very disappointed when some friends and I went in for the first time. Hardly any seating... just bar stools which makes it hard to converse and isn't very warm, inviting, or intimate. No coffee either. They have bottled water and I don't believe they even have milk. But the worst part yet was the fact that the cupcakes are just overpowered by the pile of icing they put on them. Yes, it's pretty... but it is WAY too much sugar. And this is coming from someone who LOVES icing. We each got different cupcakes to share and were not impressed. Mine was Kentucky Bourbon Pie and it didn't taste like its name in the least... there was absolutely no hint of bourbon and just nothing special about it. All I could taste was the icing. I've given it a try a few more times since then and have just given up. To me, none of the "flavors" taste like anything outstanding or out of the ordinary.... again... just LOTS of icing. They also have young kids that work in there who are snotty and unhelpful.

These cupcakes were some of the prettiest I've seen! The icing is at least as tall as the cupcake itself and sometimes twice as tall! Their flavor selection changes daily so be sure to checkout their daily listing on Facebook before you head to the store. The 3 flavors I've tried were tasty but I'm a huge icing fan. If you're not into icing then these might not be for you because the cake part of the cupcakes seem to leave a bit to be desired. The cake is very dense and not nearly as enjoyable on its own. When you're looking for a beautiful cupcake to impress an icing loving friend (or yourself) definitely give Gigi's a try!

You just have to try these cupcakes for yourself. I can't even describe how good they are. I work close to this location so whenever we're stressed we send someone to get us cupcakes and we have yet to be disappointed. The staff is extremely helpful and nice also! The regular cupcakes are about 4 dollars and they also have a mini size, I'm not sure how much those are. They always have some sort of deal going on and they also have a rewards card for a free cupcake after you buy so many. There is also sometimes a cincysavers coupon or a groupon so check those before you go!

Saw a friend was at a cupcake place, but didn't tell me...hmmm...well, ok, I guess he did...he posted a link to get a FREE one on Facebook. So I printed it, shared it, liked the page, and craved it until I went 3 days later. They are easy to get too (not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing). Cute little place. 14 different flavors every day. I picked Kentucky Bourbon Pie because I'm in Kentucky and we like our bourbon. Got one for my boss too (a little brown nosing never hurts). Got a Red Velvet one for my fiancé (doesn't hurt to butter him up too:). They were DELICIOUS! RICH! AWESOME! $3.25 ea.....plus the one for FREE. I love the individual gift boxes they have. Check 'em out.

Super friendly and helpful team. The cotton candy cupcake is a must if you like cotton candy. The cake is super fluffy and moist and the icing perfection. The sugar sprinkles make it fun to eat. Do it, I dare you!!!

Yum!! yum yum!!! Found this place on yelp while visiting the area from New York with my boyfriend. I planned on only buying one but once I walked in, I needed at least 6! They are all presented so nice and tasted unbelievably good.

After a busy morning of shopping at the mall, my future step daughter and I hit up Gigi's to get a snack. The shop is so cute on the inside. Bright colors and a display case with most of the cupcakes inside so you can pick which one you want. They have a lot of choices and can someone is always behind the counter to give you advice on which cake to get. I picked the cookie dough cupcake. The cake itself was not as good as I was hoping but the icing was amazing. The icing was like they took cookie dough and made it into icing. The cotton candy cupcake has a cotton candy flavored cream inside that is pretty good and the double stuffed (Oreo) cupcakes has like Oreo cream inside. I suggest Gigi's if you need a yummy snack. The only thing to think about is that the cupcakes are pretty pricey. Almost 3 dollars a piece.

I've been here several times to get cupcakes for work or to take to parties. They always have a buy 5, get one free deal. Their flavors vary and they generally have seasonal flavors that are really good. These are pretty darn good cupcakes! The cheesecakes cupcakes are really good! These are a heck of a lot better than something you will get at Wal-Mart or Kroger, if you want something easy but a little more special. Some may not like the price, but the quality is worth it!

If you love cupcakes and frosting, this is the place for you. They have wide range of flavors with a few seasonal options all of which come piled high with delicious frosting. The menu changes slightly everyday, but their website lists what they're baking that day. The rewards program is generous, so make sure to sign up. If you're not in the mood for cupcakes, they have mini cheesecake and cookies, and breads too. They also have a few gluten free options. The Tiramisu and the Wedding Cake cupcakes are my favorites. By the end of the day it's slim pickings, especially on $2 Tuesdays. But whatever you end up getting will taste great!

Always good cupcakes!!! I love the selection and they are always fresh. The only complaint that I have is that the store closes at 7:00. Sometimes you can't make it there after you get home from work and get dinner somewhere. Tonight I had one that was a lemon cupcake with a lemon frosting...DELICIOUS!!

I tried a couple of cupcakes. The review? Of course its good because its cupcakes. Its no where near as good as "Heavenly Frosted" (also in Florence). heres the deal, the "cake" is very dense and heavy, not moist and fluffy. If you prefer your cupcakes that way then this is your place. Also, not serving coffee is a big mistake. Eating cupcakes without coffee is like eating french fries without ketchup. C'mon guys

I had a banana cream cupcake. It was pretty good and I liked the Nilla Wafer topping, but as other reviewers mentioned, a bit of an overkill on the icing. I don't need it to be taller than the cake part. Also on the pricey side. It was as cute as any other cupcakery, maybe a little more corporate feeling. The restroom even fit the theme of the shop with a cupcake-shaped soap dispenser, and the employee (owner?) was very pleasant... but I miss Heavenly Frosted :(

This place is good. I'm from San Diego, so I get to compare it to Sprinkles. Sprinkles has a better cupcake, whereas the icing at Gigi's is about the same as Sprinkles. Yummy.... yummy.. yummy.

So this is the thing- they're very good. I'd go as far to say that they're almost as good as Heavenly Frosting, BUT they're not quite as good AND they cost more. Check out Heavenly for a more satisfying experience.

One downfall for me is the amount of icing that is used. I'm that person that scraps off icing. Though the icing wasn't to bad which surprised me. I had the ky bourbon, so the pecans broke up the icing for me. I like the.texture.of the actual cake. For me I would give this place 3.5 stars. But I bought some for others who loved them. The Italian cream, egg nog, and cookie dough.

Fantastic cupcakes. We have our favorites, but it is fun to try new ones and we haven't tried one we haven't liked!!

The frosting is a little more quantity wise that most of the completion. The taste is a little below Heavenly Cupcakes. The Salted Carmel flavor had a somewhat overpowering salt taste. The cupcake would have been good except for the excess salt. The Snickerdoodle also had a little to much salt taste. The cake portions of the four favors we tried where a tad dry for my tastes. I like my cake moist. Considering the higher price, I would opt for Heavenly Cupcakes over Gigi's

I didn't care for these. I'm actually not even a cake or cupcake person so take that into consideration. Also, I typically scrape icing off of stuff, but thought maybe this was different. But since so many raved about these, I thought I should try. Way too much icing, way overpriced, but I did like the consistency of the cupcake. I liked it dense and heavy.

Did not care for their cupcakes. Too processed tasting, too much frosting, too expensive.
